Special mention to @zonkednb for being goated and using the skillz 'thinking' and 'interacting'.
Another special mention to @Withered8 for being unique and original not only in playing the game but also when it comes to their game balancing and perceived power of things such as perks, really great killer/surv as well, was an actual pro player. -
This update may trick players into thinking some killer perks got buffed and some surv perks got nerfed. I feel bhvr have just hired/promoted someone, now it tricks more people.
Love this update as someone whom plays survivor way more than killer btw. -

What???
How are killers still demanding a general killer buff when they got buffed in basekit kick speed, basekit attack cooldown with many trash pallets on the map and gen went from 80s to 90s???

nurse has 2.53% pick rate and 46.92 kill rate which is below average
@esarraf said:
It is hilarious how they release an incredibly broken killer that is slightly hard to play then just go and make them easy to play. Like honestly maybe a contender for nurse rn with how strong they are.

Already answered to this not making up any data lol the data is there and I repeated them.
For unofficial data tracker accuse can I ask where is the official data tracker?
Just some thing you have said. You clearly have a massive knowledge gap in this game and a tendency to cherry pick reading and context and think your better than everyone.

You don't have to believe.

PLEASE I IMPLORE YOU. Dont be the third person debating with me about skill levels and somehow dont have access to official stats.
edit: previously are these two guys saying I'm bad however can't show their stats because somehow they cant access it
I looked at my stats a month ago and now I can't, likely a firefox thing. A while ago doesn't mean 5 minutes ago.

Make her a bit like Oni, she starts as a 110 or 115% base speed killer, no blinks and then has to earn her blinks through the match, maybe just like Oni where she needs a hit/down or a hook to activate her blink state and stays in it for a minute or so
I feel like that would be damaging for who she is as a killer. doesn't follow the rules, "ignores" pallets and windows.
-
Something I've noticed is that she has good mobility w cambells despite her being the best killer in chase, I would suggest increasing blink recharge rate for her any blinks after the 1rst one as this would rewards even more when they outplay the nurse but that would be bad for casual nurse player. One big thing that might affect good players is nerfing her jennys addon (blink back) so you get the fatigue duration of using all the blinks you used, that way if you use it after 2 blinks you recover as if you used two and not one.
Kinda unrelated: without her purple addons I think she is a fun killer to verse even though I will die in 30s anyway lol. -

Ok man, Have a good life. I stated how the fact of having over 300 matches on survivor more than killer as a way of telling you that I do play survivor and might be considered a survivor main and not just a salty killer whom doesn't play survivor. Gl in your matches.

How? I will copy my previous comment below and you will find which usable perks got nuked
I played this game since 2022.9 so I won't comment anything before that, but throughout this 4 years I will tell you the only few survivor perks which got buffed and became actually usable in High MMR matches are:
BABYSITTER in 8.1.0, BUCKLE UP in 7.1.0 (got nuked to ground in 8.0.0), COUNTERFORCE (usable occasionally), FAST TRACK (from 9.5.0-9.6.0), RESURGENCE in 8.1.0, WGLF in 8.3.0. That's just all.
The only surviving perks among these are :BABYSITTER, COUNTERFORCE which is only good occasionally, RESURGENCE and WGLF.
All other buffs to the rest of garbage perks are TOTALLY meaningless because they STAY garbage. A comp team will NEVER EVER use APOCALYPTIC INGENUITY just because they buffed it and reduced a chest to activate. Will NEVER EVER use TECHNICIAN just because they buffed its noise radius and the percentage for exploding a gen. These are examples of 10.1.0, the patch they nerfed SB and VIGIL. You said "Its important to look at BOTH otherwise its easy to feel like your just getting hit by nerfs with every balance pass." How are these buffs and nerfs equalizing?
I don't even want to count how many usable perks got nuked to the ground and SOME OF THEM falls to the garbage perks section.
The following perks are commented based on my own feeling at competitive play to WIN environment.
TOTAL GARBAGE: BACKGROUND PLAYER, BUCKLE UP, CROSS EXAMINATION, DISTORTION, FAST TRACK, FLASHBANG, HOPE, MADE FOR THIS, SELF-CARE, VIGIL.
NOT GARBAGE BUT NUKED COMPARED TO BEFORE THE NERF: COH, CONVICTION, DEAD HARD, DECISIVE STRIKE, DELIVERANCE, OTR, PROVE THYSELF, SPRINT BURST.
How can anyone still say the dev is buffing survivors with all these FACTS?
edit: love to see how killer mains downvoted me when EVERYTHING I said are FACTS.
"How can anyone still say the dev is buffing survivors with all these FACTS?" Read my comment carefully. (Edit, I do not claim whether or not your comment is telling facts in this comment.)
Btw have you considered the fact that dbd stats do not inherently mean skill? I mostly play survivor as a way to test out cool builds and usually sacrifice myself if it means someone else gets to escape, as killer I play to win and play a lot of lower tier killers with a semi-meta build that keeps changing, a lot of my playtime is on dbd mobile and I watch about the same amount of time that I play.
Since we're doing backstories: I have joined the community since 2018 and started playing on mobile late 2019 as I didn't think it would be worth to buy this game I didn't till - (on pc) I started out on epic when it became free and from then I started playing more and more, I also started to play alone more and eventually bought dbd on steam (spoiler alert it was way better on steam). On mobile I pretty much unlocked everything and had an immense excess of resources with just about every character p3 before netease took over (edit: and then played till the death of dbdm netease), I forgot my level. I would say I have 3k+ hours on mobile though I am way under valuing it due to not knowing the exact hours. ~1.7k hours on epic and 640h on steam.
Currently I cannot access my stats page on firefox and I won't spare my effort for you. Clearly you have much to learn.
Fyi I looked at my stats page a while ago and I have ~300+ matches more on survivor than killer. -

People are rarely using sprint burst now because lithe is just the next easiest option. I guarantee if Dead Hard for distance was back you would rarely see any Lithes. Does that make Lithe bad?
Thanks for proving my argument about dev keep nuking usable perks and leave survivor no choice but to choose the next in line.
And Autodidact is total garbage perk
Read some more.
And how do the devs keep nuking usable perks? I assume this is about sb due to the context, for beginners it won't affect them and for intermediate players it might make A difference technically for a bit but for advanced players whom are good unlike you it will make the difference and it will become a worse perk for them yet they will still used it because it is still overpowered.
So again, how do the devs keep nuking usable perks? Absolutely not survivor perks, Killer perks maybe but likely not constantly, there was no mention of killer perks tho. -

We all gotta start somewhere. Play some more

Got it, Thanks yall. I forgot about the other perks but ik I did stop using two of them cuz they were "nerfed", Now ik they were js bugged like enduring. I was playing a low tier killer w enduring and I got stunned while using power on purpose, the stun duration was not affected by endurance and that was most likely a bug aswell. This was a long time ago

Shoulder the burden + anti-tunnel (combo), Blast mine bleugh. And Gen perks for the survivor side but likely not for the reason you think. For the killer side I would say penti on a good player in soloq.

the do gens quicker boon is pretty weak and mathematically doesnt really save you any time at all. the only boon thats really good is the health one (if soloq team mates actually took advantage of it) and shadowstep (also very strong if survs actually engage with it which they dont )
overzealous is useful, to do gens quicker and the speed is based on if you cleanse a totem or hex, it's pretty useful when dealing with 3 gens and doing a lot of gen prog without getting hit, so is the boon. Likely meant to counter 3 gens or a highly pressured gen, you can set more than one boon perk on a totem btw so it might also be a good pair with another boon perk.

why is this garbage anticheat even in the game you witless Devs
I can't believe this is who you're blaming, the devs and the management etc likely know what they are doing, devs 100% know and management maybe not all of em but they know they're making an unbalanced game even more unbalanced. By management I don't mean managers I mean people who can or do manage. Now that we get that out of the way, for short term benefit what the management is doing is better, yet worse in the near future for money, although being selfish in the long term (selfless) is not be the best play if not implemented correctly and some investors might pull out in this time of struggle. It's A risk. What they're doing is an even bigger risk tho, supporting and letting people whom are on the verge of quitting since 10 years ago but only on the survivor side have a major say in the conversation.

Surprising to see krasue has a lot of votes, her counterplay is more than just bodyblocking, it is so interesting and has so much depth yet people don't take the time to learn it on either side. Krasue can do many things such as counter players counterplay/help alleviate against it vice versa and there are so many interesting parts about her, I recently saw a bit of the hens lawless tourney (rarely watch him, I don't think he is all of comp dbd before you ask) and a player played as krasue awfully and same goes for players against her. They of course played better than I can but the strats and techs used could def use much work, they didn't use half her kit and survivors were rightfully awful.
Trapper has the most boring counter-play out of the choices although that doesn't mean he's boring to verse. -
It's interesting indeed, it takes time to break and you have to go out of your way although it may not be the right choice. This might also spark a discussion about buffing boons.

Ub, ftp, last stand, conviction, tenacity, boon expo, fireworks, flashlights and more are still extremely useful against the judgement even if they only exile, how are we not seeing the value?
To name a few situations: There is a non-zero chance he downs someone from a distance, then perks like ub and tenacity easily get value but not always. And what if a survivor body blocks with ub or boon expo etc, it'll take precious time to exile them then the other survivor gets a butt load of distance. ftp is useful as it can bring a death hook survivor back to full health instantly. Have you tried to play blind as killer? Aiming huntress shots etc become harder even if not by too much (it depends), try to aim this killers power with your eyes closed and let's see how well that goes, champion of light exists by the way. You don't need to be the one to blind as teammates can blind the killer -distract them using the beam of the flashlight or getting a nice blind/make the killer look away using a flashbang/fireworks (you can do this aswell). -
I wasn't sure if it was just my internet being bad for a long time or if I was selected as a tester to this anti-cheat. Got my answer and it was me using the anti-cheat. My temps are higher than usual especially my cpu temps. My ping is now higher by about 20 ms (was ~60-80, now ~80-100) and is less stable. Game performance is just worse likely due to the higher temps iykyk but seeing as others complained about it it's likely due to the anti-cheat. This is consistent across sessions, all of these do not just randomly happen and are not a one of things hense it's the anti-cheat or devs destroyed performance and ping somehow (unlikely at this scale) therefore I urge you to avoid using this anti-cheat.
By the way have you thought about using battleye anticheat? I want a less performance costing anti-cheat, cheaters will find a way to bypass it any anti-cheat you use and use their never ending swarm of epic games account, might as well make the experience better for non-cheaters. -
Hooking them will allow them to activate a lot of powerful perks (fun fact: anti tunneling perks hurt non tunnellers more than tunnellers when the survivor team wants it to (the rule, not the exception)) and is inefficient, I recommend slugging survivors (if your using a strong killer) cuz 3 survivors will usually not be doing gens then, one on the ground dying, one going for the save, and you chasing someone, bonus points for use of ruin.
Slugging has given me time to do literally anything instead of nothing, it has slowed down my games significantly. -
I think a break is well needed for me, thanks for bringing that up, and to respond (for lack of a better word) to some comments:
I usually play with whatever build I want to play with, usually somewhat good but not bad, I know that a better skilled killer can win the match, hense I try to get better.
The current state of the game doesn't frustrate me but, I want to be able to play lower tier killers without having to be better than the survivors by a landslide and the more updates we get, I feel like I need to be even more better than the survivors. I think my in the moment emotions spoke too much in my post.
Thank you all for your comments, it really supported me.
