The camera is at her height is it not? Raising the camera would mean making the killer taller.

I'll give you a reason but I don't think it's a good one; the Obsession gone removes the one downside of the perk. The Obsession can't see your Aura when they're dead, can they? But only one person seeing your aura is hardly a logical reason to tunnel only them. Besides, you can just instantly down them and mori them in the end anyway. My favorite killers are those that runs this perk, tunnel, and run NOED. You gotta guarantee your horrible play style gets at least one person.

@pemberley said:
You would think that unlike Dying Light or Remember Me they would WANT to let the obsession go until the end. But I swear every time I’m the obsession with Rancor, I’m hunted down before the end. I love moris! I will let you mori me! Just let me get my bp and maybe open an exit gate for rituals!I've noticed that about some killers too. Of course I don't see the need for rancor since usually everyone is dead before the end when I play killer but when I play survivor I get hardcore tunneled when the killer has rancor. There was a game where everyone else escaped because the killer was only going after me for the first 4 gens while she has rancor.
-
They're both can be very clutch perks depending on who's running them but from playing killer a lot, I can tell you that sprint burst is the most annoying one. Spending lots of time looking for someone then finding them only to have them get a huge burst is so annoying. The absolute majority of survivors I play against who run dead hard always either mess up or it has no effect whatsoever since they end up getting downed few seconds after anyways.

Freddy is not the worst Killer. He is actually under rated. Change my mind. All killers use powers to their advantage except Freddy. His power is literally starting chases. Any other killer you just have to walk up to survivors and it starts a chase.

absolutely, legion should be erased, and customers that spent real money on it, compensated
Will you be the one to refund them? There are people who enjoy the Legion.
one thing is enjoying the legion as a killer, other is the ontopic thingy, extremelly un-enjoyable to play against as surv
You still haven't answered my question.
offtopic answer: obviously behaviour snould be the one to refund
i seen tons of matches with survs DCing when see killer is Susie
But why, if you're the one who wants to deny people the thing they paid for and enjoy? I'm just trying to understand your logic here. You want people to be denied access to content they paid for because you don't want them to have it, but you don't think you should bear any responsibility for it?
It wouldn't be his call to do so. It would be BHVR's. Of course it would never happen and we will most likely see a huge rework of Legion instead, which will be the best way forward.
@The_Crusader said:
I'd still take a Legion over an expert Nurse any day.I wouldn't Nurse is always more fun to face and a truely game changer in chases compared to Legion. The only thing which might be annoying are certain AddOn combos, but well they will be reworked anyway one day.
I disagree. Legion has to respect pallets and walls, unless he uses Frenzy in which case you can take a few hits while he messes about activating it and de-activating it.
Nurse just teleports through and hits you. She can down 100 times faster than Legion can. Plus nothing in the game sucks as much as a Nurse who just blinks across the map to tunnel on every unhook, it's so lame.
You can counter nurse by breaking line of sight and going somewhere the nurse doesn't expect. Legion you can't because as soon as you think you're far enough he just runs and catches up.

Hell yeah. Everytime a legion downs a survivor and hooks them they always kill themselves because nobody ever wants to play against legion. And Behaviour wanted to buff him LOL.

Survivors often accuse killers for tunneling and camping.
In my games often the killer tunnels a survivor on the last hook, the obsession if he has remember me or a special toxic one. Most killers camp because survivors rush to the hook to farm the survivor and not waiting until the killer is occupied with an other survivor or is away kicking a gen or pallet. When I play killer I find it amusing how often overaltruistic survivors swarm the hook or the basement. And yes, if I can take someone out of the game by focusing him down I will do it.
What would you like to see changed?
What should a killer do different and what behavior do you as a survivor promote?
What viable alternatives do the killers have in those specific situations?I mean, it's not against the rules but it is very unsportsmanlike. Especially camping, the killer will get less points hooking someone once and just face camping versus if they hooked them and chased them three times.

What were you thinking BHVR? Prove Thyself went from one of the most useless perks in the game into most probably one of the best perks. Ever. 10% repair speed per person repairing a gen. Lets be generous and say most times only 2 survivors repair a gen, thats about 44 seconds. Add the prove thyself bonus and thats like 4 seconds cut from the repair speed. It doesnt sound that bad when youre just talking about numbers, but then you're forgetting one of the main problems we killers have in this game is gens get repaired too fast. Believe me, in about a week no game will last longer than 2 minutes, if they even lasted longer before. They nerfed repairing gens when they're done in groups. When two or more people are repairing a gen and nobody has leader or prove thyself the gen repair speed is slowed down but I don't know by how much.

Is it only me or are you meeting atleast one tbagger at the end of almost everygame? Is it just me or do you not FEAR killers when they approach you? When are survivors gonna be stop being treated like kids? Killers are so damn underpowered that its sick, its almost disgusting. You seriously need to nerf something for survivors like loops or make the generator timer higher to 2 minutes (alone) or something, because killers are only there for the points you gets for getting chased LOL. Or as killer i dont feel like i am being feared unless i facecamp my victims but it ends up getting gen rushed since one gen is about 1 minute and a total sacrifice is 2 min and 30 sec.LOL. Killers can literally kill people to take them out of the game. How are they underpowered? And why do you care that they tbag? It literally has no effect on you whatsoever. It's not like survivors get a boost whenever they do it.
Note that a sacrifice is like 3 minutes, and 3 minutes is 3 gens
Play nurse and it'll be 3 downs in 3 minutes.

Okay so about every game of killer I play at the end people keep complaining that I'm lag switching. I have 24mbps down and 1mbps up. I have ADSL2 internet. Is this good enough to play as killer without having others lagging? When I play survivor I have no problems what so ever unless the killers ping is over 150.For now, I feel like you shouldn't play killer. Of course, you purchased the game and you're allowed to do whatever you want but that internet speed messes up the game for other people. Soon it won't matter though, they're planning to release dedicated servers this year and your internet speed won't matter.

I was watching Tru3Talent and his match must have had 4 stacks of Huntress Lullaby and when he want to a Jigsaw Box it wasn't effected. Why not? This is the only reason I use that totem on her and now I know it's been useless this whole time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAwxPxQQvFc It's at 7:37Because otherwise if it did work on jigsaw boxes it would mean certain death because it would be almost impossible to take it off. The other option would be to look for the totem but with the reverse bear traps you might not have enough time.
Then something has to change for the sake of consistency. You can't just say "Oh, Nurse's Calling no longer works with Doc's power because we want to be consistent with what's considered healing." and then have a perk that screws with skill checks EXCEPT for one.
Nurses calling doesn't lead to certain death.

I was playing level 1 clown in one of my games and I saw that when I picked up a survivor all of a sudden 2 other survivors came from behind the trees and started trying to blind me, stun me, and bodyblock me. When I realized it was a SWF group by how much they were coordinating I tunneled one of them, put them in the basement, and proxy camped him. His friends kept trying to rescue him and I ended up killing the entire 3 man SWF group and I let the last survivor get away. I'm proud for what I've done. Afterwards they started calling me camper and told me I suck at this game. (because I'm the one that needs voice communication to play this game lmao)

Yeah you gotta look at survivors if they're body blocking to hit them. When I first started playing killer, like you I use to play only survivor but after reaching rank 1 I switched to killer. I started with leatherface and no one would body block. Otherwise it would be a GG since they'd all be downed.Yeah, I just purchased leatherface yesterday to start working towards teachable BBQ & Chili, but using him to dissuade such tactics did cross my mind!
Of course, they can still body block you when you are carrying, since you cant use the chainsaw, correct?
Anyway, I'm going to start looking at the ground from now on, when heading for a hook, and run agitation + iron grip until I get used to hitting those bastards on the ground lol
Press R and pull out your chainsaw. You can probably down all of them at that point.

Survivors get tons of informations without and with perks.
But killer must use perks for informations.
Now the killer get false informations.Searching for survivors is a huge part of being killer you cannot expect the auras of all survivors to be shown to you every single time you do anything.
Yes but its rly annoying.
Survivors have many informations. If you want to remove everything in the game that is "rly annoying" you're going to end up deleting the entire game.
@ShyN3ko said:
Example:
the survivor unhook someone
survivor is exposed, because "Make your choice"
survivor:"ok lets hide 60 seconds".And killer must use perks for informations and now many informations are false.
In my opinion both sides should have the same informations.
And only with perks, they should get more informations.Your example makes no sense and isn't a valid reason to see the auras of survivors at all times. Survivors also need perks to see killer's auras so fairs fair.

wirh all of the counters to BBQ, such as lockers, Distortion, gen aura brightness, hiding behind gen auras, it convinces me that everyone is nearby, and that doesn’t really make it fun, especially how the survivor just sees me looking around nearby rocks to find survivors that learner there, it just is a little ironic that it convinces me to ‘camp’ moreDon't rely on BBQ to reveal survivors every single time. A big part of DBD is searching for survivors and it makes the game more fun. Knowing where all the survivors are at each time you hook someone takes a huge objective of the killer away. I'm not saying BBQ should be nerfed or anything but I think that there's a good reason why only survivors a certain distance away have their auras showed. And this is a game about strategy too, survivors are allowed to strategically play around certain perks you shouldn't hurt yourself because of it.

So, I play killer and survivor 50/50. And I do play swf and solo, and if you play strictly killer and not much survivor, try solo survivor out and you'll see why survivors want to swf. But anyone who played back in beta/early release when swf didn't exist will remember how killers never got to play lobbies as people would snipe their friends. You can't prevent people from playing with their friends. Here's some changes I think will improve overall quality for killers: 1. Killers loadout is hidden untill the end of the trial, so survivors cant give away the killers perks. This will benefit remember me, bloodwarden, noed, etc more, maybe will make it more viable pick up because of it. 2. Killers get 50% bp per swf group. So if theres 2, 2 mans thats double bp for you, triple if you run bbq (Who doesn't anyway). I've seen threads recommending survivors should get a 50% BP penalty for swf, but that would just punish people for playing with their friends, and getting a friend into dbd more hard and painful than it already is with all the wonky killer powers. What are your guys thoughts, agree or disagree?Or at least see which survivors are in groups in the lobby. I doubt they will institute these ideas, especially #2. I especially agree with #1. It's not fun when a SWF survivor dies and then you see another SWF survivor playing around your perks.

Then get rid of time wasting perks like ds and dead hard lithe and balanced landing and shorten loops and remove half of the pallets
Game would be impossible for survivors, at that point you're just asking for survivors to get on the hook for you.
You have to realise devs released stats a month or two back and survivor rate is at something like 45%, it's in a good place, once you start removing even more pallets, removing "time wasting perks like DH/Lithe/BL" that number will drop substantially.
and honestly, any killer that complains about dead hard needs to get back in the realm and practice more, it's takes a whole half second to bait it out and after the killer has seen a survivor use it they'll know they have it.
I want my kills to be rewarding, if I end every chase in 10 seconds (which is fun don't get me wrong but if it was every chase I'd probably quit) I don't get anything out of pipping if I drop every survivor from here to crotus pren in 30 seconds flat because they have nothing then my kills aren't rewarding and I'll stop playing.
Time is just being wasted on chases loops have to be shortened and pallets have to be farther apart cause chaining them is still possible and t jungle gyms need to be removed
And perks like DS need to be removed and exhaustion should not be cleansed on hook
How about we just remove everything from the game? Are you actually serious or did you just lose a game?

Gen rushing is just the norm now this game needs to be slowed down considerably so i think ruin just needs to be taken out as a perk and built in as a totem instead every game has a ruin hex totem that you need to clear before you can do generators or you can just bypass by tapping gens killers can then keep 4 perks slots and a survivors will have a second objective to doYou're funny.
-
I think you guys are looking too much into this. Moris are suppose to be used to easily get rid of a survivor from the game. The animation shouldn't really matter as long as the job gets done.
-
Nope. Being limited to 4 perks means you have to balance yourself and you aren't OP.
-
You think the perk that lets you mori everybody and down people with 1 hit needs a buff?

@BrendanLeeT said:
Although NOED and DS are hated by the community, at least one of them has counters. There is no 100% counter to DS without having to take up a perk slot, which by the way doesn't even counter the perk fully due to it only reducing the stun time slightly. When a killer downs a survivor, that means they worked for it and the survivor has lost so it is pretty stupid that they can hit a skill check to just escape and loop again. I personally don't mind 1 DS in my game but the only time I see it being a problem is when there are multiple survivors running the perk.
Regarding NOED, that can be countered before it even activates just by destroying 5 totems. If you take a little time out of your game to cleanse the totems then you wouldn't have an issue with NOED.
I personally don't run either of those perks because I find them both annoying whenever I play against them (I do play survivor and killer) but at least NOED has a counter-play to it unlike DS.
While there is no perk that counters DS you see plenty of killers strategically work around it. In all games where I played survivor and I ran DS, killers would always dribble me to the nearest hook. I would say half of my games I never get the opportunity to use DS. I don't mind DS when I'm playing killer because usually I prepare for it and I don't have an issue downing survivors again.
-
There's nothing wrong with totems.
-
Alright then remove NOED too.
-
People who complain about DS are also the same killers that spam the hell out of the R key whenever a survivor shines a flashlight at their face. There is nothing wrong with DS and they shouldn't do anything to change it. There will always be people complaining about something.
-
I don't play a lot of hag but I played her repeatedly until I got all her teachables and here's some things I've done. When placing traps don't put it where survivors will obviously know where it is and just start crouching through it. Like in front of your totems, or in front of a survivor. Usually I place traps a little bit away from survivors or totems in a way that I know survivors will be walking towards the totem and then trigger the trap before they even get near it. This requires you to know some of the common survivor paths. I never used MYC but hag would be really good with that. Also thrill to protect your devour hope and ruin.
