I used to play DBD on Xbox, but I’ve since moved to being a full PC gamer. Imagine my shock, after setting up dbd and doing all the account linking stuff to find that when I queued into a game the camera was like SO ZOOMED in, I thought it was a bug honestly. pretty much as the question says. Why are so many people stressed or “nervous” or even “scared” of playing killer? I've been playing dbd a lot lately. I’ve returned after a year and I’ve been having a blast with all the new killers since Vecna, particularly Kaneki and Springtrap. They’re unbearably strong every single game. The bodyblocking, the looping, the knowledge of the maps, the map offerings, the gen efficiency. All they did was make it so the guards kick gens better? Are they actually serious? Not the guards terrible chase ability and the fact they too long to activate? Making it so holding W is ridiculously powerful against him? But there's no way to really counter that since they can literally see where you're going when you're going to place the guard? He's honestly so bad it's ridiculous. He has to be one of the most survivor friendly killers they've ever released. I'm not saying that in a "Devs are survivor sided" way, I'm talking about his actual design itself can't contest the top level survivors. He relies so hard on slugging and downing survivors with his power which can be hard to initially get as it is at times at the higher level. And his momentum comes from hitting multiple people at once. With unbreakable base kit at 45 seconds and the unbreakable perk making you get up even faster he gets no momentum from his power. Was playing dredge and I was running Eruption and Pain resonance with BBQ. I managed to gain some good momentum where I was downing people consistently in a scourge area but the match was still a close one. A Dwight was consistently trying to fight for a gen in the middle of the map that was close to finishing. I kept putting eruption on that gen as a result as you would. I faced a Hag today, and I genuinely think it was the first time I've faced Hag since maybe the end of March, or May and if I did see her more than once since then it was only twice. She has to be the rarest killer I ever see. It was fun facing her today as it has been THAT long for me. Just casually doing a gen and hearing Laurie scream across the map like that always just makes me laugh when my friend is playing Laurie or we have one on the team. Prove thyself is extremely meta at the high levels of play and with it, gens with 2 survivors on it go from 40 seconds to 34 seconds and with toolboxes is even less time. It's an extremely powerful perk alone but with a swf it's bonkers. I was really hoping for a nerf. Gen speed perks are so strong. If huntress hits a gen with a hatchet it explodes for 10% and starts regressing. But she can't blow the up gen again until a survivor touches it. And it has a cool down that the first throw is 10% and if she hits another one quickly it's 5% with a 15-20 second cooldown. I absolutely despise the RNG of the blood web with perks right now. I've spent 3 million on dredge and I've got only pop at level 1. No pain resonance and only BBQ at 1 as well with no sign of pain resonance. I feel like the game knows what perks are meta and what's not. Been running Bamboozle on Demogorgon and it works like an absolute charm on him. Really helps shut down all those pesky vault loops where he can really struggle. It also makes the shack a lot more doable for him with his leap attack and with Barbs glasses he recovers breaking the god pallet much faster as well. I highly recommend it on a Demogorgon build and might try it now on other killers to5 comments 121 views last activity

Playing the Dredge of course and I love him to bits. But, I hate, HATE, his bloodwebs. Level 30 and not a single gen defense perk. The struggle is very real atm. Only 1 purple perk and the rest green. We should able to choose a perk every 10 bloodwebs or something. And perk levels need to GO. I keep seeing all the grid layers on my survivors especially when playing. It's actually so distracting seeing the broken skin on all the characters while playing. It's especially intense on the faces. Massive black lines all over them. Their eyes are greyed out as well. Is anyone else getting this? I'm on an Xbox series X. Luckily I have only started to get into him a few days before the nerf was announced but my god. Idk, like he just feels sooo clunky and janky and slow. I regret buying him right now honestly. I'm trying to play with my friends on DBD and it says our versions of the game are different. I'm on the series X Xbox when they have the old ones. The new killers besides the twins are really cool, but A LOT has changed. Never thought I'd see the day when DS was nerfed. New map reworks, perk changes killer changes like clowns rework. I play on Xbox and I'm a rank 1 killer and consistently hold the rank and get 4ks very often. (watch me get dominated for saying that now because life does that doesn't it?) Something that drew my attention was Oni. Now when I first started playing Oni I got wrecked, end of story.
