  • Apart from seeing the animation of a survivor installing a wire tap or blast mine trap on a generator, are there other ways a killer knows if a gen has been trapped or not before kicking it?

  • In terms of scratchmarks disappearing, does Ghost notes (scratch marks disappear 50% faster whilst exhausted) and lightweight (scratch marks disappear 5 seconds faster) stack with each other?

  • Just want to say that I am liking this new chapter a lot, but the best thing for me is the absolute banger of the menu music when queuing with Kwon Tae Young! I almost get disappointed when I find a lobby too quickly xD

  • I mostly play survivor and like many survivors, I notice that I face some killers quite a lot (e.g. Blight, Ghoul, etc) whereas some killers I almost never come up against (e.g. Trickster, Artist, etc). I think it would be a cool idea to incentivise players for using different killers by introducing a weekly killer bonus. So every week (let's say Monday), each player is assigned a particular ki

  • I love the stats tracker! One thing I'd like to see added in the survivor section are my individual stats Vs each specific killer. Not sure how possible this is, but I think it would be cool to see how I fare Vs Nurse or Trapper, etc individually.

  • Played as kiler for the first time in a long while in the Haunted event. I play on PS5 and as Doctor. I have my controller invert y-axis set to "on" yet it wasn't inverted. In game I switched it to "off" and it was still not inverted. Switched it back to "on" and still not inverted. I even changed the mouse invert y-axis to "on" and still nothing. As survivor this is not a problem.

  • Every trial to begin 16 piles of timber scattered around the map. Each survivor can pick up a total of 4 piles of timber for the entire trial.
Once a survivor has picked up a total of 4 piles of timber, they can build or rebuild a pallet or breakable wall in any empty spot where a pallet or breakable wall could spawn to (think of Freddy's fake pallet ability, except the pallets will be

  • I've seen many killer tier lists on YouTube which do not rank the same according to my experience in facing them as survivor. Whilst there are some differences between each YouTuber's tier list, they largely rank most killers in the same bracket. Spring trap is often ranked as a low A or B tier but to me he is the next best killer after nurse. I have no idea how to face him and he destroys me ev

  • I remember reading somewhere that BHVR were going to fix the issue of a skill check triggering as you leave a gen, resulting in an accidental failed skill check. I'm sure I saw this months ago but this is still happening and I haven't heard anything since. Anybody know when this fix is coming into place, or if they've cancelled this initiative?

  • In terms of my all time stats, I have a 38.39% escape rate. But looking through all my individual survivor stats my Ash Williams has a 54.55% escape rate from 8.7 hours whereas my Elodie has a 26.67% escape rate from 10.6 hours. Just found it interesting to see which of my survivors I performed well/poorly with. I tend to use the same 4 perks most games over the 3 years I've played the game so t

  • Commodious Toolbox is better than mechanics toolbox in every way imo. Is there any situation, however niche, where one might prefer the mechanics toolbox to the commodious? The only thing I can think of is if there is a crucial gen that's under pressure from the killer and it has 16> charges left to complete the repair, then the extra 25% speed is useful. But that is such a niche situation tha

  • Most DBD matches I play are about 10-15 minutes. When I order food online, it normally says about 45 mins to arrive, and it's never on time. After ordering food, I decide to have one game on DBD to pass the time until the food arrives. But these matches always tend to be epics that last 30+ minutes. And delivery times suddenly becomes amazing. In-game, there is one kill and gates are opened.

  • I like the idea of the invocation perks, but they're currently more of a hindrance than a help due to one player being broken the rest of the trial. The weaving spiders perk already has a fairly decent non-op balance to it, spending 60 seconds to save 50 seconds across 5 gens. Treacherous crows also has a fairly decent balance to it, and is only really strong in indoor maps. So to add permane

  • It's actually getting ridiculous now. It's happening at least in 50% of my games either as killer or survivor. It is happening literally within the first minute of a match where the killer gets their first hook and the survivor kills themself. If the survivor really doesn't want to continue, why at least can't they just quit the match so a bot can replace them? I have two suggestions to stop thi

  • High Mobility killers dominate DBD right now, and they have done so for a long time. A large part of their effectiveness comes from their aura-reading perks. So I was wondering how much a perma-blindness effect on them would affect their rankings in the tier list. I'm not talking about killers who can transport to specific points on the map (Unknown, Onryo, Dredge, Demogorgon, Nightmare, Singula

  • As a survivor, I'm seeing killers run this perk more often recently. But I'm not really sure how to counter it. I'm getting absolutely destroyed by this, especially when coming up against high mobility killers like Ghoul, Nurse and Blight. I decided to start running Calm Spirit and Distortion but in my last game, after the last survivor was death hooked, I hid in a locker, still had a distortio

  • Before Tokyo Ghoul came in, I just felt that at least 33% of my survivor games were against Blight, and even though I generally don't mind playing against him as he is, I felt that he needed a nerf to discourage players from using him so much, and buff some other killers who I don't come up against too often. Besides, I also enjoy playing killer sometimes and do feel that many M1 killers just are

  • So I have a new game mode idea that I would personally find interesting, and would encourage players on both sides to use perks that they wouldn't normally use.
So the idea is that each survivor & killer would have (as an example) 12 perk points to spend on perks before going into each match.
So each perk would be categorised into 5 different levels, with the highest level per

  • One of my daily objectives is to open the exit gate with Gabriel Soma. I have literally spent the last 3 hours solidly playing DBD just to complete this objective and still failing. I know I'm not great at the game, but I can still do most objectives with enough time spent. But the opening exit gate objective has always been the most frustrating one. I only get to the stage where the gates are po

  • Just had a Solo Q match against a Bubba, who spent the whole match chasing a Thalita, allowing the rest of us to just focus on doing gens. She was amazing and only got downed after the 5th gen was completed. The Bubba then face-camped her in the basement, and whilst we all tentatively checked to see if we could save her, we realised there was no way and we all just left. In terms of a bloodpoint

  • I'm a survivor main so don't often play killer. When I do play killer, I main as Doctor, mainly because when I was first starting out the game, I found him to be the most difficult to play against, both because I wasn't used to successfully completing 100% skill checks under normal circumstances, but also because of the static charge which revealed my location when I was stealthily urban evading

  • I play Rocket League a lot, and you can set some quick-chat options to the D-Pad. In DBD, there is no current use for the D-Pad in-game, so maybe introduce quick-chat for this? For those who don't know, in Rocket League, you can set a "build" of 16 different chat options. This works by selecting four different chat options per D-Pad button. So once you select (for example) the "Up" button, you c

  • Hi all! I've been playing DBD as a survivor for some time now, purely in solo Q as none of my friends play. Quite early on I discovered the magic of Kindred, and since my first use of it, I have almost never gone into a match without it. But when I see the perks that other survivors are using, most of the time I'm the only one running it. On the rare occasion that I've tried running a build wit

  • In the custom games section you can play as a survivor against any killer you wish...as long as you have unlocked that killer. I am a survivor main, and have only unlocked 3 killers. But I find it difficult in matches against certain killers because I have no idea what they do. In the store section, you get a brief overview of their power, but it doesn't explain the full extent of their power

  • I normally play killer, but when I do play survivor in solo queue, it seems at east one survivor purposely kills themselves on hook at least once every 5 games, and I even notice this to a lesser degree wen I'm playing as killer. This obviously means the game becomes at least 95% killer sided. The truth is, the mechanics which allow the survivor to kill themselves are so unnecessary in the first

  • BHVR are great at promoting diversity with its survivors, and I'd like to suggest maybe making a disabled character. The survivor could be in a wheelchair, which would be interesting visually-wise, but they could otherwise create a survivor who appears to be able-bodied with a hidden disability as part of their lore/backstory.

  • I'm a killer main who will occasionally play as survivor, but the thing that puts me off playing as survivor is when a killer tunnels me, because I'm simply not good enough in chase. There have been too many occasions where I've been killed off the game quicker than the amount of time it's taken to actually find a game in the first place. I'm not against people who do tunnel, and admittedly I
