The "Modern Tales" collection's lobby music theme does not play when equipping the newly-added "Big Baddie" outfit for The Trapper. The Pig no longer holds a Reverse Bear Trap in the lobby, and shares The Nightmare's main menu pose instead of her custom pose. Also, the "The Saw" and "Twisted Trefoil Blade" weapon cosmetics are bugged and do not spin or jitter like they are supposed to. PS5, and also all platforms. Instructions: Select The Pig, and the bugged weapons, and the bugs are evident.0 comments 31 views last activity

I don't think they should, don't get me wrong - but we've all seen this song and dance before. A killer gets introduced/buffed to a point where they are pretty strong, but also very easy to play. Then they proceed to dominate low MMR gameplay while being average or weak against skilled survivors, causing their average killrates to skyrocket, and then they are nerfed into mediocre irrelevancy. Or RE skins, come to think of it. I've been waiting for a Butterball skin for Pinhead for ages, but despite the introduction of Chatterer making it seem like they're doing legendaries for the 4 original Cenobites, we haven't gotten a single skin for Pinhead, let alone legendary. And RE is one of the biggest cash cows DBD has, but the only skins we've gotten since release are the sweaters and Blig11 comments 693 views last activity

The first weapon is "The Saw" from the "Test Subject" outfit. This new blade (below) is virtually identical. Kind of disappointed, honestly - a bit lazy to just remove part of the weapon and treat it as something entirely new.5 comments 221 views last activity

They've disabled Haddonfield until it gets graphically updated - meaning we AREN'T going to suffer through a deluge of Strode Realty Keys every game, as people use up their stocks of this famously well-balanced and fair map! I didn't think they would do this and I am surprised, but appreciative.8 comments 331 views last activity

It's not like he's very strong, or even above the midway mark of strength for killers, but I'm not sure why he's still below 50% kills even after the buff. People kill themselves on hook against him all the time, and he's a very effective camper. Surely that alone should be rocketing him to high kill rates, like it does with Bubba? He's arguably even better in a chase than Bubba, depending on the20 comments 391 views last activity

Noticed this with the Artist's release. Pretty much every male killer is a bad person, or at least someone who would kill without the Entity's provocation, barring some exceptions; Wraith, Deathslinger, possibly Trapper and Bubba. They're people with whom the Entity wouldn't need to do much to convert into a killer. But every single female killer with the sole exception of Pig (and even then, you37 comments 821 views last activity

Seriously, Furtive Chase has not received a single change since release despite being one of the absolute worst killer perks in the game. It has unnecessary restrictions, a gimmick with the Obsession, the need to build tokens and it can be disabled if the Obsession dies. And all it does is reduce your terror radius while IN A CHASE by 16 metres. Not even the full terror radius. Why is this perk4 comments 71 views last activity

Been prestiging him recently, and wow, I hadn't realised until now just how easy to break his chains are. It's gotten to the point where I hardly even use the gateway at a tile I can play normally, because it's a waste of time and they'll break free of the chains before I can even get close to them. Not even to mention how often they just randomly snap on nothing. The slow is very unimpactful, h25 comments 1,101 views last activity

By forgettable, I mean perks that nobody uses and are not memorable in the slightest. They don't even need to be bad, just unused. For my money, it's Deathbound. Not only is its effect not very strong and difficult to properly make use of, but it has several conditions that need to be met by survivors in order for the perk to even activate. And even when it activates, the survivor can just avoid92 comments 1,001 views last activity

(Edit: Turns out that, as per the attached image, his ADS is only being increased to 0.4 seconds! This is fantastic and his quickscope should stay intact, and as such, everything below is no longer a real issue. I am incredibly happy right now.) As far as I know, each blade thrown is counted as a "special attack", hence why PWYF loses a token per knife. If so, does that mean that each knife hit will apply Third Seal, and each knife hit will block pallets? Because especially that last part could get out of hand very easily. I can't imagine BHVR overlooking something like this, but it makes sense that the blades would trigger this judging14 comments 251 views last activity

We're assuming here that the nerf is some magical fantasy change that by itself is enough to give her counterplay, but she still kills you and your team often and is played often. I ask this because many killers that are played a lot get hate and are seemingly disliked mainly because of this. For example, take Blight, or post-buff Leatherface, or the pre-nerf Hillbilly. In case nobody's played him, Pyramid Head now has his old Rites of Judgment animation back. His knife enters the ground the moment Punishment can be used, instead of jankily stabbing into it and not moving before being able to fire. This was a really small complaint I had but I'm very glad it's been changed. Don't have a clip unfortunately, but in my experience it feels so much smoother. Thanks!2 comments 141 views last activity

Pinhead's OC outfit has a chain cosmetic, but obviously you can't see it in the store on Pinhead himself. Does equipping it make the possessed chain (the one you control) change in appearance, or is it just the one he uses as a basic attack? Because if it's just the basic attack one, why on earth would anyone buy it? Neither you nor the survivors can see it.2 comments 81 views last activity

One I came up with and enjoy is Fake Camp PH. All you need is Dark Devotion, Iridescent Seal of Metatron, and ideally something that inflicts Exposed like Haunted Grounds or something to make the survivors afraid to rescue. Down your Obsession with a basic attack, and send them off to a Cage - now the caged Obsession is radiating a 32m TR while you're undetectable, and thanks to Metatron, been11 comments 71 views last activity

Assuming it's being run on it's own. I think it's Tombstone Piece, just because of how quickly you can get a survivor killed with no meaningful downside, but Kavanagh's Last Breath, Mother-Daughter Ring and Alchemist's Ring are all incredibly good if the player is very good at the killer.28 comments 231 views last activity

...they have to be a legendary skin for an already existing killer. Who do you pick and why? For me, it's Jacket from Hotline Miami as a legendary set for the Trickster. Both are neon-themed bat-wielding combo-focused knife-throwing serial killers who specialise in fast kills, rapid movement/dexterity and executions. They even have similar music theming, and their animations sync up fairly well.17 comments 321 views last activity

Some lunatics shared this and figured I would post this here because it's just the right amount of contrivance for a BHVR licensing teaser. Note how the "A" has several As, like "S-egg-aaaaaa". Feel like Springtrap is a red herring, hence BHVR's use of the perk on Twitter today, and judging by how they delivered Silent Hill, BHVR like to use more commo9 comments 161 views last activity

Is anyone else on PS4 experiencing this? Just from today DBD's been crashing every other game and even in the menus pretty frequently. I have a 30min DC penalty now. Am I just unlucky or is anyone else getting this?2 comments 11 views last activity

Weird question, and I'm obviously biased from not being able to play him any more, but Trickster feels so much easier to win against now. I've had 9 games against him so far, some not-so-good players and some very good players, and he honestly feels less threatening now. It's pretty easy to break line of sight enough to get Laceration decaying on most tiles, especially with Trickster's slow sp16 comments 151 views last activity

Being accurate with Trickster's blades with a controller is virtually impossible, not to mention Trickster's recoil and handedness and all of that. Now, he actually requires you to be extremely accurate with each knife, which kind of sucks for us lowly console players, especially combined with the incredibly fast decay. I'm talking about when all 4 tokens are gained, to be clear. Something like 25% TR reduction in a chase per token. This way, it could be a niche but potentially powerful perk, especially with instadown and snowball killers - chase a guy, down them, and down the guy on the generator next to it because he had no idea that you were chasing someone literally next to him. Plus, it would be god tier o6 comments 131 views last activity

Most people have noticed by now, but another case of the Clown's Party Bottle leak has occurred, with changed add-on descriptions for some of the Twins' addons hinting at an upcoming rework to the Twins allowing Victor being able to roam while Charlotte is controlled. Title. One who acts almost the same in the game and in their original property, with homages to their source material and the like. I think the most faithful is Myers, and the least faithful is either Freddy or PH. I shouldn't need to explain Myers, but reworked Freddy's power has very little to do with his source material - the dream world is hardly a threat in the slightest and often you spend14 comments 201 views last activity

For me, I think it's the following: -Trapper: Trap capacity increased by 1, reworked trap spawns, and maybe something like differing trap tint depending on the realm. -Wraith: Slight decrease to his cloaked movement speed OR reduction of the super-lunge back to 1 second. If the second option is taken, his movespeed when uncloaking should be reverted, too. -Hillbilly: Needs another pass on his8 comments 131 views last activity

He just feels so... bland, now. So generic and artificial. Despite the reworked Freddy being a downgrade in almost every area except viability, I could at least play reworked Freddy and get some enjoyment from how stupidly easy it was to use his ten thousand powers. In the upcoming mid-chapter patch, the Trickster is getting some much-needed changes. These include reducing the number of Blade hits to injure to 6, increasing the speed of Laceration decay, making Main Event take 30 blade hits to charge instead of 20, and increasing the active Main Event window to 30 seconds. However, let's look at this mathematically. Assuming you only land knives on people t15 comments 501 views last activity

It's the last trophy I need to get the base game platinum. Need to escape Disturbed Ward without being hit. Having trouble - is there any trick to this or do I just play like a rat? For those who haven't read the dev update, the short of it is the following: -6 knives to injure, down from 8. (Buff) -Laceration takes 10 seconds to decay, down from 20. (Nerf) -Laceration charges deplete faster in general once Laceration starts decaying. (Nerf) -Main Event activates in 0.5 seconds, down from 1.5. Killer is virtually unplayable for me right now with all the lengthy framedrops and freezing. Survivor's a little better but still awful. I'd like to get crowns on some of my killers but just the thought of loading into a killer match with this framerate turns me off the whole anniversary thing.20 comments 311 views last activity

It's happened to me three times in a row now on PS4. I boot up killer, play normally and then I get frozen in place, usually while using an ability like Corrupt Purge or grabbing someone, and all players freeze for about a minute with all music still playing before being booted back to the menu. It seems like console DBD is now actually, genuinely unplayable.3 comments 21 views last activity

Just come off from a few games where both me and the last survivor were waiting on top of the hatch, and no matter how fast I spammed the close hatch button (while standing on the side which allows you to close the hatch) the survivor would automatically escape without a prompt even showing up for me to close it. 1. Release Victor when playing as the Twins. 2. Go up to a generator as Victor and have a survivor use Blast Mine on that generator. I do not have screenshots unfortunately, as it wasn't the biggest priority, but Victor sees the generator highlighted in that white-orange colour it gets. It's literally a guaranteed lightburn. Just drop it when he's uncloaking to hit you, I don't think he can make it out of the radius even if he stops uncloaking and runs. For clarification, we're talking about high skill levels of play. Not tournament levels, but both teams being in about the top 25% of players. And for the sake of argument, we're excluding killers in the top or bottom percents, like Nurse, Spirit, Trapper and Trickster. Curious to see what people think. Playing on PS4, and if the game freezing and stuttering constantly isn't enough, crashing has become incredibly common. My DC penalty is now 20 minutes, and it's making it very unappealing to play. Glad BHVR's pillar of Game Health is still a thing.0 comments 11 views last activity

I actually, genuinely did not think they'd buff either of these perks. But wow, removing the basic attack restriction AND lowering the cooldown - by 2/3 for Eruption? It's amazing, rekindles my faith in the balance team a little. Definitely going to be experimenting with Eruption a lot. Franklin's nerf is unfortunate but not unexpected. Don't get me wrong, I like Surge (possibly too much) but it just really doesn't hold a candle to either of the two giants of regression. And it's probably the best of its kind. -Oppression - Lack of information on what generators got hit, hefty cooldown, gen kick requirement and pitiful base regression make this underwhelming. -Overcharge - Useless against players at purple ranks or above. -E34 comments 441 views last activity

If this nerf was made to stop infinitely blocking someone in places like the Badham basement, then I'd recommend increasing the time before Charlotte loses her collision to 45 seconds or so. This would allow Charlotte to body block pathways while controlling Victor as before, but would still prevent holding a survivor hostage, retaining that element of her skill ceiling.1 comments 11 views last activity

Charlotte's collision being removed is another unnecessary nerf that lowers the Twins' skill ceilingDespite not being mentioned in the patch notes, Charlotte now no longer has collision when controlling Victor. This means all bodyblocking plays with Charlotte are kaput - no bodyblocking tight corridors to slow survivor movement, no bodyblocking pallets and windows to punish survivors who try to loop the same tile, no protecting gens in rooms and 1-man gens from being worked on while controlling15 comments 531 views last activity

For reference, Gearhead and Coup de Grace were deemed too strong, despite neither being particularly good. If Lucky Break's considered balanced enough to bring to live, then I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of Stridor spirits. Seriously, though, why were Gearhead and Coup nerfed? They weren't too powerful or even very strong in their PTB states, and now literally nobody uses them. Ever.33 comments 721 views last activity

Just had my first few games of Wraith since they fixed the lunge bug, and wow. I'd imagined the extra speed as being something akin to the old green Windstorm, but now Wraith moves at something that feels close to Billy speeds? It's been a while since his release, and he's had time to sit and data to be gathered. So, the main piece of feedback left to be used - should he get (1 bounce) ricochet knives base kit? No, this isn't another "BHVR are so survivor sided they will buff Haddonfield this is so sad" post - I don't think BHVR would choose to make Haddonfield stronger for survivors. (unless Almo decides to go all in on Haddonfield not having a high escape rate) Halloween was DBD's first license - so, presumably, the licensing contract was a bit more tilted in favour of the license owners at the time.7 comments 261 views last activity

https://youtu.be/Dw-fSvsbm4E As you can see here, you can no longer infect the exit gate switches. Why was this done? It's not like Plague is a particularly strong killer, and this strategy needs good timing and one survivor left to work, and can be countered by simply being infected beforehand to not tell Plague your location.
