Levelling any char to 40 doesnt take much time, it the smallest part of the grind getting teachablrs unlocked so I don't see a need for this tbh.

I've not seen any abuse of glitches recently. In fact F13 has addressed a lot if not all bugs and glitches known.
Most of the issues you see being fixed are from the new devs gun media brought into patch the game, black tower studios.
Illfonic are no longer working on the game since September last year.
-
I would agree with that since the gens aren't being powered and are blocked instead.
-
Because people cried the ranking was too easy and it's not fun for this and that.
The devs then made ranking become more about doing what the other side want than what you need to do.
-
The responses on this thread thinking its ok are what is wrong with this community.
If you tag @Peanits it makes sure it doesn't get lost between the whining posts.
I'm sure the spot will be fixed soon enough.
-
Reporting in game is enough as they have the chat logs, I'd remove the screenshots and the person's name as it's against the forum rules of naming and shaming and can lead to you being banned from here.

>When you submit the report ingame, it includes all the players who are in the match and it also includes the chat logs.
And I say it doesn't, either intentionally or unintentionally
>You won't be told the results of the report you made... if those players are banned for whatever reason, you won't be told about it. Also if BHVR bans them, the ban doesn't show up on their profile, so you'll have no idea if they were or not.
I specifically mentioned that I don't want any identifiable information to be posted here, just the message from the report, which is unrelated to the report itself. The reports are legitimate (I mention this only to emphasize that I did not maliciously report random people, i.e. abuse the system)
People have been toxic since launch. People are still toxic now. Since the inception of the report system nothing has really changed in my experience, which leads me to believe that the report system doesn't actually do anything (as in it does literally nothing)
The main difference between launch and now is that nowadays A LOT MORE people are disconnecting in addition to being toxic
Theoretically the automated ban system should ban people for repeatedly disconnecting. I don't believe it actually works but there is no way to verify that. There is however a way to verify whether or not the report system works, because that, in theory, should take care of people being toxic. Hence this topic, because I don't actually believe the report system does anything, however that can easily be disproven by a dev posting a message from a report and then me confirming it
>The devs don't discuss bans but Peanits has stated many times on this forum they go through each report.
See above, I don't think the report system does anything. I don't want information about bans. I want a verification that the report system physically does something / works
Consider all the completely idiotic bugs that have been in the game at varios points in time. Even very big and easily noticable bugs such as the Legion Mending exploit. There is absolutely no reason to believe the ban and report systems are an exception and work flawlessly. At the very least this is a simple way for the devs to verify that the base functionality of the report system works
Peanits confirmed the info regarding the chat logs etc they are actually one of the devs who go through the reports, so what you think really doesnt matter.
Toxicity in terms of language isnt reportable, the only really reportable act in the end game chat is wishing death upon someone or racial, you can call someone a fucktard, dipshit or even say I ######### your Mum and its all fine as thats classed as internet ######### talk according to McCote.
Toxicity in game was only bannable for working with the killer or holding the game hostage, you can sandbag all you like, play as scummy as you like and its fine as that is part of the game, you need to define what you beleive is toxicity as it may not be reportable.
DCing depends on how often you play and DC as its a percentage, you also have a min amount of games that have to be played before you are considered, for example if you play 100 games and DC in ten nothing will be done, if you play 10 games and DC in them all nothing will be done.
These are also done in waves and not when each person hits the goal so it may take a few weeks before someone is banned for it even if they reach the goal.
None of the mubers have been released regarding the percentage or when a wave is coming as those can be abused by keeping yourself below the line.
No one has ever said it works flawlessly, DCing is going to be looked at with dedicated servers but the fact is they do ban, there have been posts on this very forum after a wave has hit, some users even state they have been banned for unsportsmanlike conduct, those posts are removed due to the forums rules so you wont find them as they are deleted.
The fact is they do ban and the reports are dealt with, its seems your problem may be more to do with what you think should be bannable over what is and also the fact the system isnt that great for DCing right now which should be looked at in the near future (hopefully).

@Orion F13 sold 2 million copies. That's hardly a flop. The failure of the dev team to fix long standing bugs, poor communication with the community, and balance issues caused it's decline. Also the lawsuit bringing new content to a hault didn't help. Even with all that it's still doing okay on console. PC is where it died off pretty quickly.
Having a lot of sales doesnt mean it didn't flop, the game lost players really quickly due to bugs.
The whole lawsuit was known bwfore they released the game and was subject to a halt in content, even the mobile game came under that but they started making more content again as Miller was quoted saying he didn't care about the games.
It looks more like the devs used the lawsuit as an excuse to hault production as they no longer wanted to work on the game, this was shown even more when they posted how even if the lawsuit was sorted out quickly they would still not add any more content.
-
The only way you will be able to tell if someone got banned is if you can see their steam profile and its enough to escalate it to a perma.
Temp bans never show up on a profile.
The devs don't discuss bans but Peanits has stated many times on this forum they go through each report.
-
Legion is objectively better than the Wraith as the Wraith is easy to spot and his power can be completely negates with a pallet or window things which don't stop the Legion getting the first hit.
Legion can also hit multiple survivors injuring them which the Wraith can't do.
Legion can also use their power to traverse the map much like the Nurse blink so they have mobilty to apply pressure even if they can't down with their power.
Over all compared to normal M1 killers Legion can be considered slightly stronger as they can chase and the same speed by when close use FF to guarantee that first hit and nothing will stop that with a competent player, hit multiple survivors around each other, is able to traverse the map faster along with having mend as a side effect which takes survivors off gens for a short time, in a time management game every second counts.
-
Well technically the only exclusives console can't get are those that were out before launch.
Why should one set of players then be rewarded for playing the exact same game simply for buying it before others?
If you play the same game the rewards should be the same, I can't see them giving a thank you to ps4 and Xbox without doing it for PC also.
Legacy was a different scenario from anything else as it was before a major change to the grind and I mean major change as there were no BP perks, the offerings were tiny and the web took 3 to 4 times the BP to complete.
Yes the grind could do with being lessened but as Peanits said if they ever decided to do something it would be done for all players who played the game through it and not just a select few.
-
The thing about any new game is it will always attract players and take them away from other games, keeping them around is the problem most of them have but once they sell enough most devs don't care as it's onto another game.
DBD has managed to keep player really well all things considering and that is due to constant dlc releases and changes, they actively engage with the community and while we may not always like how they handle things at times we keep playing.
Illfonic isn't a great dev when it comes to FPS shooters, check out dead alliance on steam, I wouldn't put much faith in the game with those devs, even though I absolutely love predator and have all the games released on PC, with no PC release for this I would never buy it as I hate playing FPS games on consoles.
The predator game is more like evolve than DBD with how it plays out, it's also very limited with licences maybe they could add the xenomorph but who know.
I am not worried in the slightest as they are two totally different games on paper even if they are both 4v1 the similarities end there.
Each new game which has been assymetrical people have posted about how it could impact DBD, so far none have managed to even come close to taking people away for prolonged periods, they tend to come back as it's a special game, the dbd devs made a game people love to hate but can't stop playing as it draws you in.

It shouldn’t be able to be canceled though. There is absolutely no good reason why it should be canceled or why it shouldn’t be a one time button press.
When you’re killing someone, you are definitely putting them out of the game. The trade off SHOULD be that you are committing 10-15 seconds to it while the other survivors could be making progress.
Spamming is annoying and toxic, and in the case of the Ghost - who WILL be prime real estate for toxic killers unfortunately - spamming is both of those things and very disrespectful and distasteful to boot.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/468885#Comment_468885
1 - bm wise, bm shouldn’t be tolerated since at best it’s unsportsmanlike and at worst it’s pure toxicity. Bm wise, tea bags in comparison are rather goofy and ridiculous compared to simulating Deliverance. It’s wholly unnecessary to put it mildly.
2 - We’re all playing a game that’s clearly in the slasher horror wheelhouse. Murders and blood curdling screams are to be expected and even wanted. ######### is not part of it, nor should it be trivialized as such.
There are instances where it's beneficial.
Say it's the second to last survivor, you just start it and see the other running and you know they are heading towards where the hatch is, do you mori or leave them slugged to chase the other?
I am sure there are more scenarios where it's legit to do.
While I also hate mori spamming and other things in the game I dislike changes that completely remove options and rather they change things to make them not as worthile.

Your answer just reinforces my points, meaning they're acting quickly when an issue affects or hyphotetically will affect survivors, with little or no evidence to back it up.
Piggy's nerf: ZERO data needed, no one asked for it, destroys her endgame strenght.
Plague's nerf: PTB data, no one asked for it. How many Plagues have you played against?
Freddy's burial: Roughly one week worth of data. Freddy is the punchline.
Basement nerf: ZERO data. Hypothetically possible to trap people there. This one I'll give it to you, although several other scenarios got indirectly affected too.
Legion change: 3 months of data. Or should I say, of DC's. Legion was a mistake from the beginning, let's be honest.
DS change: Two years of data.
Exhaustion change: Year and a half of data.
Ash comes packed with an obviously OP perk in a money-only DLC, without a PTB. Talk about common sense.
Obviously they knew the huge backlash they would've drawn if they made a PTB, that's why they didn't make one.
No it does not.
The pigs change was designed along with the EGC and put out on the PTB as it was something they though about when designing it and the implications it could have, the bear trap could guarantee a free kill as it was, its a change that was needed but they should have buffed her in other ways to compensate.
Plague's data was taken directly from the PTB, you know that place where they test things soley to gather information? I have played versus many plagues but thats an irrelevent question tbh as it means nothing in the context.
Freddy I already convered that, its due to the Freddy scenario they dont just jump on things instantly anymore after release and use PTB's, that was also in 2017 talk about living in the past and not seeing how they learned from that.
The basement did not need data, the whole point of the EGC was to stop people from hostage situations, the basement is an area where with the EGC had the potential to grant free kills which is not what the EGC is about, now I think they could have looked at making the change only happen when the EGC became active but in the short term it was a fix that stops cheap kills.
Legion was changed more than 5 months after release, he was buffed prior to that, moonwalking wasnt touched even though it was in the PTB and feedback was given on it, they wanted more data before doing something major hence the longer wait time.
DS was changed around 4 times in that time frame, it may not have been the changes you wanted but over 2 years a every 6 months a new iteration of it came about, thats almost the same time frame as what happened to the Legion.
Exhaustion perks also had changes before they introduced that mechanic and had a couple of changes to it after its release so gain its a work in progress, you know after they compiled data.
Leatherface had no PTB and was released just like ASH with arguably one of the best killer perks out there, your point?
There you go again tin foil hat time on yet again, ASH did not have a PTB like Leatherface as it was a surprise DLC, both of these only needed animations and to fit in with the existing game with no new map to be tested out, again its not rocket science.
The PTB when a new chapter is due not only brings in two new chars along with a new map but also usually have lots of other game changes so your point ASH had no PTB argument actually holds no water and is pure speculation, those who think this way are normally type of forum user who cant see the whole picture and one the devs shouldn't really take note of as they dont think outside the box and jump nerf this or buff that without thinking.
The above shows why they would now rather gather a lot more info before making a change and most of that is due to the fact they jumped on Freddy so hard straight away due to backlash, if that taught them anything it was to bring out a PTB for anything with major game changes, make changes from the PTB they believe need to for balance purposes and once its released apart from major bugs look at the stats for a longer period to make sure they dont make the same mistake again.
-
@Condorloco_26 said:
Yeah sure, like with the addition of EGC they waited for all those stats and numbers to show % on how many survivors' heads exploded with Piggy's RBTs before even considering touching her power.
They also waited for stats to show the insanely high number of people getting trapped in the basement during EGC before touching collision (only on the stairs, of course).
They spent months gathering info on Plague too, before even considering touching her movement speed while charging her power.
And the most notorious case of them all, they waited a long, long time before touching Freddy after release too.
It's not as simple as changing numbers around when the issue affects killers, obviously.
Each of those instances had a PTB, the pig's change was announced BEFORE the ptb, Plague was tested on the chapter PTB and that is why the change was made, you know thats the whole purpose of having one, the basement any fool can see it could give easy kills and its one of those easy number change fixes as the basement has been in the game since release so they know exacllty how it works and the potential for free kills.
ASH did not have a PTB and was put straight out for sale which means as full product the stats are a lot more widely spread and take longer to gather, its not rocket science.
Players had to purchase them, play the char get the perk and teachable and spread it out, while most players who want to jump into the ptb have lots of BP saved up to get what they need instantly as its announced way before its released, lets not forget the whole pupose of a PTB is there to directly gather stats and feedback so changes can be made, the live game is a completely different scenario.
Are you so jaded towards one side you cant see part of the reason they havent done anything to MoM as yet and need to gather more stats is due to the Freddy scenario? they will not just nerf so willingly as Freddy was a lesson to be learned from and not to be repeated, bringing Freddy into the discussion actualy shows why they shoud have more data to make a proper decision and not jump instantly when people start raging on forums.
If you have a scenrio where you test 10000 players compared to 1 million the results will be a lot different, its not rocket science.
Take of the killer tin foil hat and use some common sense instead.
-
Personally I would rather they just paused the timer and set it to not go below 1 minute if a bear trap is used.
For me this creates a lot more chances for her as they still need to search a possible 4/5 boxes giving her more time to hunt for others and it means her end game stays roughly the same as it was.
-
Ash
Claudette
Kate
Trapper
Leatherface
Nurse
-
Maybe if you spam it more than 3 times within a set time frame it auto goes into the animation, say 30 seconds? that way it doesnt prolong the timethat much and it can be cancelled for the legit reasons others have stated.
-
The thing about data is it takes time to gather, MoM itself may have been out for just over a month but how many players have it on all the chars they play? how many games over all the ranks? how many times does it mean 1,2,3 or 4 survivors escape (not just the person using it as it can affect more than them), how many hits extra per game on average does it add, how many times is the person using it downed shortly after and that is naming a very small amount of scenarios for testing.
Take Legion, moonwalking was in the PTB and was mentioned but it took them almost 5 months to realise it was a problem, this isnt just due to the actual problem but about how the data gathered needs to have a time frame to see how big the issue is and then be analysed, they then need to think about what possible changes they can do to make it more balanced and test each idea out.
its not always as simple as changing some numbers around.
-
I use the hyperX cloud II, a well made headset and really light and comfy.
I don't use the virtual surround option when playing dbd as I find that it helps to lower all the ambient sounds making it easier to hear what I need too.
-
People always see what they want too see with such things.
While mettle of man is a silly perk to introduce into the game imo it's only just been released.
If the Freddy saga told us anything its that the devs no longer instantly nerf something a week or two after release due to people crying on the forums.
Legion was out for almost 6 months before the change, in fact Legion received a buff in that time and the moonwalking exploit was left intact.
-
As above, the time wasn't changed, after testing on the ptb they decided to keep it at 20s.

I think the "P2W" comment is due to the fact that it is "premium content" (i.e. not supplied as base in the game) and gives a very clear advantage. While a bit of a misnomer, it can still technically apply since the cosmetics can be bought with actual money.
Thats why it was a wrong statement by the original poster, the term P2W is used for anything which gives an advantage that can only be bought with real money, hence the pay part.
Some people have tried to expand it for items they have to work for instead as they don't want to put in the effort and want everything handed to them.
If it's earnable in game it's never P2W as you do not have to part with any money, not to mention the clothes in question on the store are also some of the cheapest to buy with shards and can be earned with a few levels of devotion easily.
-
The hatch closing was not implemented for two reasons.
It caused another standoff and the devs also stated it was one sided and they wanted a system that had an equal chance for both.
The hatch standoff wasn't due to just survivors but both sides being stubborn, if a hatch standoff happened it was both sides who were at fault as they both had the means to end it.
The egc was implemented yes due to survivors being able to troll at the end and act like idiots so the slugging can be seen as a way for some revenge but the most will be doing it to see the new cool animation.
Just be careful though as the longer it goes on the more likely a change may be implemented.

Did you read the rest of the post? Her brown clothes are a problem, but so are the grey ones. Again, if we could fix the audio, that would be most ideal.
The brown clothes can be bought with shards earned in game so not P2W.
-
Two wrongs never make a right but it's acceptable to get some revenge.
It will calm down once players have seen the animation enough.
-
I thought some killers wanted players to be more stealthy and lose them instead of looping all game.
-
The egc has only just been patched into the game it will take time to get the stats to stabilise, it is way to early to think about changes.
This new mechanic was designed to be a 50/50 for both sides and if the stats over the next few months are tilted to one side they probably will look at making an adjustment.

Clarity is always better @twistedmonkey, even if you don't agree with the other person's side. Most forums don't just close something without giving reason, even if the reason is posting on a post that has been dead for a while and even then, they usually also include that in their rules. These forums have nothing about it from what I've seen.
Which is why I said it is what it is, I never said I agreed with the decision just thayt there is not much anyone can do about it.
-
Your thread lost traction and it was resurrected one month later by someone.
It was the only fog whisperer thread to last so long as discussing decisions on who they deem acceptable is not something they obviously want to discuss so you should take some solace in that.
The fact that they picked who they have tells you they are happy with them, what more does anyone actually need to see that?
There was never a reply from mod or dev and as they say silence says more than a thousand words.
The post also showed the vast majority really did not care that much and with those streamers having such large following you would never win that war not even one battle.
Let it go and move on, it is their forum and their rules and as such are free to run it how they please and censor what and how they like.
Being here is a choice and if anyone decides it's not a place they wish to be due to such decisions then they don't have to anymore.
This may sound blunt but it's how it is with private forums.
-
I agree with the change being needed but it would be nice to have it so before egc happens it's still possible to run out BT Etc.
-
Kids will be kids, anyone who harasses someone for this is a low life and need a some serious help.
Just shows how bad the dbd community is, some peolple need to think about their life choices if a game gets them so worked up.
No excuses can be made for this behaviour.

@Irisora said:
I love when a survivor main like you start insulting, its so cute.
You say that a single survivor should always have a counter againts a killer, but yet you miss the fact that this game it's a 4v1 game. So the asymetrical downside for killers is already there, therefore a killer should always have an advantage in 1vs1 chases or all of them will escape, and that is the asymetrical part while playing survivor.
The changes they did to legion are very survivor sided. Only a few needed but most of them not. If you enjoy easy matches then good for you, I not either if i play one side or the other.
They finally did the same as with freddy except this time not in the next week of release but later.
Making assumptions I see, I actually play killer more so that negates that statement its around a 60/40 split.
That is what the devs want, everyone to have a chance so again maybe this game is not for you.
Something being assymetrical does not mean one side should be OP, this is not the game for you if you want that type of game, if you have trouble in a 1v1 maybe thats on you not being as good as you think you are and not the actual game.
Assymetrical means the game can get progressively harder and easier for one side as it goes on, in a 1v1 survivors are weaker that the killer, if you dont think that its on you.
You sound like one of those players who blames the game for your own mistakes, I dont win them all but I win the vast majority, you cant awlays win everything you know, I took the time to learn hwo to herd survivors where I need them to be, make them go the way I want around a loop so I can limit where they can go next, there is always a safe and less safe side for the most part fallowing me to get a hit, mind games are an easy way, moonwalking etc.
The changes they did to Legion were due to them not having counter play, its down to the original design that is the issue, I said it long ago the FF was a mistake as it was a cheesy mechanic and it took no work, you could down someone with no skill involved where as the others you need to be able to play and learn the game at least, the only ones who defended the original Legion were those who played them wrong.
Legion was never designed to follow one player, they were designed to hit multiple survivor in one frenzy, if you did not play that way then you werent playing them right, the changes do overly nerf them but as I said they have to start somewhere and once they gather stats they can adjust certain things about them, its not the sky is falling scenario you and a few others are making it out to be.

Do you know what actually means?
This game is balanced by stuffing potatoes into highranks who dont belong there.
Guess what the current new survivalrate at rank 1 is? The former rank 18.
The former rank 18's are now rank 1. Thats how boosted they are.
@Orion said:
@twistedmonkey Yeah, after they threw in potatoes into the upper ranks by lowering the pip requirements. The 80% is explained by the way they acquired the data, but the 60% has only one explanation: survivors are too powerful, and it shows when you pit the top survivors against the top killers.
Since it was easier to pip for killer then how many potato killers were in those ranks?
It always works both ways and did has always been full of players that time played meant they got to a stage they couldn't compete in.
-
@m1_hero said:
where i drew the line is the survival rates for high rank, i'm doing my semi boycott doing my daily and that is it, and i suggest others do the same.
80% survival rate rank 1
60% survival rate rank 2
get's balanced only around rank 8 where it's 50/50
anyone who has played survivor and got to red ranks knows how much easier it is the higher rank you are, which should not be a thing.
let's get ahead of the 80% being high because you derank either the stats are taken when you start the game and deranking means nothing or the 60% escape rate of rank 2 is taking in all the failures of rank 1 and is therefore lowered by the amount that rank 1 is being boosted.
What these stats prove is that even the strongest killers who are most common in high ranks like billy at rank 5-12 and nurse at rank 1-4 the escape rate is insanely survivor sided.
Meaning the more survivors learn to play the game the more imbalanced the game gets.
With all the new nerfs to killers and the clear survivor sided balancing shows where the devs loyalties lie, they don't listen to feedback and they priorities survivor issues over killer issues.
You do know those figures were explained by peanits and the actual survival rate at rank 1 was closer to 43%.

"FF being able to down people meant cheap cheesy down with not outplay"
Are you serius? Having to hit someone 3 times for a very long chase when at least 1 gen is powering up is op for you? Hiting people with his power until you down them was only viable when using frank mixtape, and only with that it was a "cheesy" way, but without it its not. So a neft was needed to the addon, not the power, and yet we get a power nerf *clap clap clap*
So for you a way to balance a game is nerf a killer until a survivor can sucesfully counter or escape any mechaninc he have? You know that this should be and asymetrical game don't you?
Did you read where I said it didn't take a long time? That doesn't change the fact it a was a cheesy mechanic and not fun as if the killer player decided to use it what was left to do? Having no counter play was the issue not t the "but it's not worth it" camping isn't always worth it but any still do it.
I never said that so stop trying to twist people's words to suit what your head thinks, if you learn to read better you will see that.
It's a problem with players like yourself, do you know it being assymetrical does not mean the killer should have the upper hand from the start?
The game gets harder for the side with more as they get taken out which is the case, balance in a game such as this doesnt mean one side is so op the others doesnt have a chance and if you think that maybe this game isn't for you.

They can't test thing on live when we have a broken matchmaking system. It's like having corrupt data. You can't balance a game right when for example: I with 2 friend with more than 1k hours plays a match with a killer with 3h.... and viceversa.
And about legion changes, the only thing that needed to be changed is the abuse of deepwound, but the rest it's uncalled nerfs to just make survivors life more easy and make legion even weaker, because he never was an op killer.
And here we are again, nerfing killers for new players with a bad matchamking and i assure you that doing this it's not for the healh of the game but a corporative action like some people are saying. Because no one with a clear mind can say that all those changes are good, the mayority are very bad.
Who said anything g about testing things on live? With stats they can remove the ones where they are of unequal ranks it's not rocket science but keep trying to find ways making it sound like they can't.
It wasn't just about deep wounds, FF being able to down people meant cheap cheesy down with not outplay, if you can't see that you were part of the problem.
Regardless of how long it took or where they stood as a killer in the ranks having it so any competent woild always down someone and the only tools the survivors have are negated was bad design.
You can have any tin foil hat response you want but your assurance means nothing, it's simply a player that is unhappy.
You say its not for that health of the game and then dont realise the game had the biggest drop in players since legion was released since 2017.
I don't agree with all the changes to them like not seeing blood for example whichnibhave my feedback on, I would rather FF and deep wounds were changed but I won't cry and stamp my feet about it, I will give my opinion and feedback on it.
-
That's due to aurcivir being able to have down time when on a gen and someone else is in a chase where as with killer you are always under pressure to find, chase, down and hook.
-
You just as bad as those survivors who cry when things they like get changed.
There is no need for multiple threads and it's one sure way to be one of those the devs never listen too.

@twistedmonkey Right, what about releasing MoM without testing, a perk being pure awful design that rewards you from ######### up ? What is the excuse for that? And why is the excuse for everyone trying to stop this perk from being "balanced".
You are trying to preach to the wrong person with that as Ive already posted my thoughts on MoM, I don't think the nurse change was good or using a killers power in general should count towards it like the pigs ambush.
I also don't think you should be able to bring in Mom and DS it should be an either or scenario.

They said the same thing about Symmetra at Overwatch and they somehow made a weak character even more woeful. Not to mention, she’s barely received any meaningful buffs since either.
I don’t have an egg in this Legion race, but I sympathize with decent Legion players and tbh thinking this will position Legion to get buffed sounds like a comforting lie.

Yea a better place for survivor maybe.. Come on that its just an excuse to not balance him in a proper way and just trash a killer.
That's is the purpose of the ptb not the live. And they didn't implement anything from all the feedback, except one from piggy.
The responsable for legion changes is very reluctant to the feedback we give and im pretty sure that not much will be changed after this butchering.
Legion was wrongly designed from the start, there is no excuse to release a killer who had no counter play, that was the biggest issue.
Players also found a major way to abuse the power and make easy down happen, for a killer who's whole purpose was to be fun for both sides to turn out how they did negated the whole vison of them.
The devs stated have stated they are collecting stats on them now to see how they do and what they may need to change.
You can take that as a lie or whatever but it's happening, just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it wasn't needed.
Sometimes you need to take a step back and realise why something happened and give feedback now on what can be done.
The ptb had many changed for testing some were simple numbers but major ones generally don't get overhauled before going live as they need a lot more testing.

The majority of people complained that he got overnerfed, you making it sound like the majority of people were happy with the changes. Then again, you guys did come out with MoM, so I don't know if you guys truly know anything about balance.
How do you know that? Do you have all those stats from the survey and every other media outlet?
This forum is a very tiny minority and back of the posts about legion on the ptb were from the same group of people.
-
What you have to understand is the forum is not representative of the user base it's a very small minority.
Even 100+ players is an extremely small minority.
I would say there are a lot more feedback coming from other sources than just here, steam forums, reddit, streamer viewers, twitter etc

Lots have been it's just every post got deleted.

Who knows maybe it's intentional, saves money on making a promo video.

There is a good counter argument for it not changing throughout the normal game before the egc so maybe they could change it to only work when the egc is present, I don't see an issue with that.
-
Well you did get them after the ptb and all the changes being posted and discussed so........

They where presented with a simple fix that would make everyone happy. Pause the EGC timer when there are active RBT's. There problem solved, but instead they remove the ONLY strong thing about the pig, denying survivors to leave the match, the rest of her kit is a worse wraith (Ambush attack), a worse freddy (Slow down with traps). When big changes like this is done they need to balance it out immediatly, imagine if they cut gen repair speed in half but didn't do anything to extend the game, its basically that, but for one killer.
That may still happen but with what needed fixed who knows they possibly didn't have time to implement it.
I myself posted that was a great idea as it keeps her power at end game.
I think another issue was it would probably need time added as if it paused at 25 seconds then to get the trap off and get out would be nigh impossible unless the box was next to a gate, just about pausing woukdnt solve the reason for the change as you can see.
Pausing and adding time I would say takes a lot more testing and I think a ptb would be needed for it.
Keep the suggestions coming as good ones they do listen too and take into consideration.

Legion is in a better place to receive some buffs now, the cup is always better looking at it as being half full.
