Yes, DBD is currently not working on Playstation 5. Instead of wasting resources on cosmetics the devs need to spend resources on improving server performance and stability.

Vigil is getting nerfed. 100% nerfed. IDK why, Vigil is fine as it is

I think it would be interesting to combat gen rush that survivors need to make 6 generators and that the generators need a little more time to be completed.
I'm personally failing to see why this would be interesting. Generators are the most boring part of the game, number tweaks are a standard balancing method rather than something out-of-the-box, and increasing the amount of time survivors spend on generators is routinely suggested by people as a way to combat gen rush.
I thought hanging on the hook not being able to do anything at all was the most boring part of the game?

gen speeds needs to be 100 second and toolboxes repair speed needs a nerf, killer got gen regression and blocking nerfed 100 times yet gen speeds are unchanged for 2 years
Survivors should also start on hooks at the beginning of trials and immediately be sacrificed. Killers vs AI bots, wouldn't that be a fun future for the game!

Like a toggle always-on sprint? Or clicking in the Joystick while walking will cause you to sprint until you lose enough momentum to re-enter a walk (like CoD If I recall correctly)?
You just press the sprint button once (L1 on Playstation) and it auto runs for you, press it once again and you walk. Just a simple press of a button
-
No toggle sprint option really sucks

@Keriti said:
I'd like to see a toggle sprint option in this game so we do not have to hold shift all the time, and can just tap to turn it on and off!
For consoles as well
-
Yes, we need a toggle sprint option. That would be a great accessibility setting, especially for players who have arthritis.
-
We should be able to skip the death hook/sacrifice animation (the one where you're lifted up in the sky)
-
Yeah 30% off is bad, it's too low. 50% off should be the standard nowadays

I agree with OP , as a killer main with high MMR the gen speed is nuts. Even when i play as nurse to have more chill games and my chases last a few seconds the gens are still flying and i need to tunnel to win the game.
Ofc survivor mains trash talk me at the end game chat for not caring about their feelings and not following the survivor rule book.
Lately (past month or two) i have being playing survivor and oh my god it's so fk chill and fun compared to playing as killer.
This itself should show how unbalanced the game is and how survivor side it is.
Heck you can even check the tournaments that people do with teams like eternity or however they are called and u can clearly see survivors are winning."Killer good, survivor bad"

No, do you know LONG it takes for an idle crow to spawn??? I consider that TOO LONG and we have a Game to move along.
5 seconds is better, change my mind.
True, anything at this point. But like I said nothing will happen because for some weird reason BHVR likes survivors griefing other.
-
@Emeal said:
This was all done to prevent body blocking in that house right?
Its because bHVR has neglected to implement a Proper anti-body blocking system, its simple. if two players are smashed up against each other for 5 seconds make them lose hitbox with each other for 5 seconds. This would help so much.Collision should be removed when a player has 1 idle crow. Survivors currently lose collision when they are slugged or get hit by the killer. But as we know, BHVR likes survivors griefing each other and ruining their teammates game experience, it's why nothing has been done about griefing ever since the game came out 8 years ago.
-
This event sucks for survivor, killers get all the good stuff while survivors get nothing...
-
While we're at it, let's make survivors start on hooks at the beginning of trials and immediately be sacrificed

i think healing needs a nerf. since sloppy and mangled got nerfed into the ground, its time to make healing 24s.
Nah make healing take 120s lol
-
This would be an amazing QOL accessibility setting, especially for players who have carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis.
-
I don't like it. Please get rid of it.

So why are SoloQ players giving up so easily?
Probably because their teammates don't bother saving them when they're on hook. And hanging on a hook not being able to do anything at all is extremely boring
-
Desync/lag/server issues seriously needs to be fixed before the Halloween event

It's certainly not a good idea to have too many survivors who are only cloaking to gain too much.
This is off the subject of the discussion, but I think it would be interesting to have a sort of 1v1 with the killer in the final hatch game, with less luck involved.
Maybe a 1v1 with survivors buffed based on their contribution to the match, with the last survivor able to escape if they can run away for the full amount of time.
I personally would love to do that!
It's certainly not a good idea to have too many survivors who are only cloaking to gain too much.
What do you mean by this?
-
3 crows is way too long. 1 crow is perfect, 1 crow is all you need to prevent bodyblock griefing.
Hatch should be something that you work towards (ex: unhook 3 survivors, complete 1 full gen, take a protection hit, take chase with the killer). That way the hiding rats who don't contribute to the team can't get a free escape.
-
This is actually a good idea! I like this!

"No.7 BHVR can easily fix bodyblocking by removing collision after a player has 1 idle crow, it saves the support team time and trouble from having to keep banning their customers"
This can easily be fixed by not having collision with teammates but only onto killer for assisting in bodyblocking. It don't need to be that far for an Idle Crow to show up. That takes too long in most cases, the killer can take advantage of this behavior even before a crow shows up. Collision with Mates shouldn't be a thing. Less Sandbagging would happen if Teammate Collision wasn't a thing to begin with.
I agree with you
-
No. 2 happens alot on consoles, especially PS5. I wish BHVR would fix it already

I still do. I rarely camp the last hook, because its boring to me. Id like to play. Not stand still. I can understand why people do it though.
End game as a whole needs an entire overhaul if you ask me. Hatch is pretty unfun to play around, Gates are open within seconds and camping is stronger than ever. It rarely feels like a climatic end to a horror film but more like a "can this end already?"
Do you think the hatch should be reworked into something that's rewarded? (ex: unhook 2 survivors, complete 1 full generator, and take chase with the killer for 60 seconds). That way the hiding rats who don't contribute to the team can't get easy escapes
-
Collision needs to be removed after a player has at least 1 idle crow

they want so much handholding!
You mean the crybaby killer mains on this forum? I agree
-
Yes! Having an auto run and auto crouch would be a great accessibility setting! My fingers hurt having to hold down the sprint button on controller for long periods of time.

But it's true, and that's exactly why the devs haven't addressed the "throwing on hook" issue yet. They know that removing self-unhooks will not stop people from giving up. No one knows what will.
Probably buffing solo Q survivor to a playable state
-
No cause killer will just assume the surv choosing to hide their prestige is a high level anyway
-
Basekit kindred for 1v4 and 2v8
-
Kinship could be 20m (currently 16m) and Reassurance could be 12m (currently 6m)
-
2v8 needs to be permanent. 1v4 as a solo survivor is way too stressful and frustrating, I'm going to take a break from DBD until 2v8 returns

Yeah, i'm just gonna wait for 2v8 to return. I never want to play 1v4 again, 1v4 solo survivor is terrible

Not exactly true. The code for the jake skin works on consoles as well. You just need to have hooked on you.
Why go through all that trouble when they could easily make it purchasable on ALL platforms?

Base kit kindred would be crazy, though. Someone is always caged. Perhaps take away the Scouts ability to see the killer when they break pallets and add kindred or something. But to give it to everyone would be mad.
Not really

I agree with point 1, but I only had 2 happen in like 2 games out of the 50 or so that I played.
That doesn't mean we shouldn't address it, I had it happen to me 3 games in a row
-
They should make Jake's waterfront massacre outfit and all the prime outfits buyable in the store as well
(I know you can get Jake's waterfront outfit on PC, but console players have no way of getting it)
-
I love 2v8, devs need to hurry and bring it back. I never want to play 1v4 again

There was already a meta midway through week three.
The mode has issues and should not come back until ALL of them are fixed. The queues cannot handle it.
You keep saying 2v8 has issues, what are they? I only know 2
- Killers slugging survivors when caging them only takes a second (basekit unbreakable from the start would solve this
- 7 survivors letting you hit struggle for no reason (bystander effect, basekit kindred would solve this)
-
I also love 2v8. I am never playing 1v4 again, I hate it
-
I'm getting this on playstation as well, i think all platforms are affected by it. And when you hit 200 it shows up as 20 lol

Hopefully we get at least 800k BP
-
Oh and more survivor classes, like a boon/totem class and a diversion/distraction class. BP offerings ONLY should also be allowed
-
8 hours of this nonsense now... playstation players deserve compensation.
-
Yeah 2v8 is awesome! I don't want to play 1v4 as survivor anymore. It's too slow, sweaty, and boring. 2v8 is casual, fun, and chaotic. I love that!
