Yes it should, the hook animation is ridiculously long, people have suggested to make it skippable for years, there's no argument against it so BHVR will probably implement it by 2030.
Below me will now follow a series of very productive comments like "it's only 10 seconds bro" or "why do you care it's not that long"

Sacrifice animation should be remade to cut out the slow lift into the sky. Just have them fade away from existence on the hook, like the cages from 2v8.

The post wasn't about mori, it's about hook sacrifice animation taking too long.
We should be able to skip the death hook/sacrifice animation (the one where you're lifted up in the sky)
