Are we counting the DMS nerf as an indirect pig nerf or is this about somethin else?
yes lol, im also talking about the bug that makes pig take longer to crouch.
we got another pig nerf T🐽T -
I completely agree, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again; BHVR has run out of ideas. Look at Dracula and Vecna, they are literally just other killer powers/perks just copy and pasted over. They’ve exhausted everything they can do with perks and killer powers and unless they add an entirely new game mechanic then there’s nowhere for them to go with new content except for making it all Dracula perk levels of bad.

Her kill rates say otherwise. Hook suicides alone likely aren't the reason, but if they are, that is good justification to nerf her pending a rework. Either way it's fine.
Otz had her in B+ tier in his most recent tier list too.
ok so according to the kill rates skull merchant is the most overpowered killer this game has ever seen and nurse is one of the worst killers to ever exist. So why aren’t we getting major nurse buffs?
-
unfortunately this mode either ends in a 4 man out where you never saw a single survivor for the entire match or a 4 man dead match where everyone died in 4 minutes.
It’s just boring
-
we have a Pig change ladies and gentle I repeat we have a pig change!
looks down at changelog
literally is just minor number changes that nerf her (DMS and bug make her slightly weaker)

Not to mention the items that he spawns that essentially buffs survivors.
oh yeah he has his own chests that give survivors item that basically just show them when he’s using his power, and his special items allow survivors to go invisible and teleport cross map.

Ok yeah that is kind of busted 😅
yeah MMR is non existent lol, my very next game I played against a 3 man SWF who has anti slug flashlight save build that brought me to badham. In an ash 4 lobby.
They had unbreakable, 2 soul guard, dead hard, lithe, adrenaline, 3 green flashlights with long lasting addons, background player, and flash bang. They always made sure they were in a place with no walls for me to face when I tried to pick them up. It was painful.

Sometimes people are just trying to have fun and experiment. I love running underused perks like that, even if they're trash, so long as you can make a cohesive build out of them.
I was playing for the first time on PS5 because I have to reset completely, I came from switch but cross progression refuses to work and I can’t find out why I’ve watched every video even the official one but it just dose not work for me, so this was an ash 5 lobby, I expected a perk like that but I didn’t expect a P100 in ash 5

This was a massive W for Wraith, now they just need to remember his other perks exist
-
he’s mid. He is just 2 killer powers but from wish lol
He has budget oni dash, artist crow, bloodfavor, and his orb is just an aura reveal. It really feels like they are running out of killer ideas fast, especially looking at Dracula (basically just spirit, wesker, and kinda huntress, but all mid).
He also has a 3% pick rate so don’t expect to ever see him
-
I just have garbage connection, I get disconnected every 1 in 3 matches because this game requires a NASA computer to run LOL
-
my opinion on trickster is the same as his release: just play huntress lol

This forum in a nutshell:
Survivors: Happy skull merchant is now also nerfed so hard, that noone will ever pick her and I'll never see her again
Also survivors: Opening thread why they only go up against the same 4 killers all the time.
that’s why I say we should all start playing perkless addonless offeringless trapper every game and comply with every complaint survivors make about our play styles, so no tunneling camping gen protecting or anything that could be considered “unfun” for survivors. Just to see how long it takes for people to complain the game is boring.
If we give them what they want all the time they will get bored of having everything, and having nothing to achieve.

Hiding the progress bar for recovering was a horrible decision. Recovering gets interrupted very often during matches. Sometimes multiple times during a single instance of being in the dying state. I don't know what causes it, but I have to let go of the button and push it back down to get recovery to restart. But with no recovery bar, I can't tell when that happens. I can't tell when it gets interrupted or when it's finished unless I just do small taps of recovery, which is asinine as hell.
It really feels like the devs don't play their own game when they do things like this. It happens on both PS4 and Switch, so it's not isolated.
I've completed the Tome except for the two challenges that require sacrifices, but I see no reason to bother with those. I think I'm done with the mode. There's not even an extra BP bonus that would entice me to play it over the main game.
I’ve noticed this as well, sometimes when I use killer powers that need charging (I’ve noticed it most with wesker) it sometimes just cancels itself which has lost me so many chases

The reason why people were claiming he was "overpowered" and review bombed is because he was "given a free hit". It had nothing to do with being in the Dream World for long periods of time.
I never said anything about being in the dream world for long periods of time?
What I said was that he got complained about because people didn’t want to learn the counter to his ability to even hit survivors was a single button (skill check button).

That Distortion change makes it useless with how many aura reading perks/add ons are in the game. There had to be some sort of middle ground nerf they could've gone with instead of the overkill nerf it's getting.
maybe have stacks that you get one after every chase but start with 1/0? I’m just spitballing here idk
-
the point isn’t that self care was “needed” to counter his power, the point is that missing any skill check countered his power, and self care was everywhere at the time. And nobody wanted to learn that so there was a review bomb complaining about him that got him slammed with nerfs before his rework
-
I agree these perk changes seem really nice, the only thing I can see being any problem is the 5% repair boost from quick gambit spam making repair boosted by 5% for most of the match, but we’ll see how much that really effects the game

Absolutely the same situation. Like they need to nerf/change Artist and Blight to me throw killer role entirely, because Vecna seems like will be nerfed soon and I'm afraid to waste time on him. I started to play as survivor main back in the day, I will end up like survivor main seems like.
he has a 3% pick rate LOL 😭

Funny thing about freddy is he was complained about because new players didn’t want to learn that self care countered his entire power

Does that mean it will sometimes feel like infinite tokens in chases? If I try to use the new Predator perk against a Distortion user, are they literally just going to have a token available every single time Predator can activate?
And it looks like Distortion will still suppress scratch marks, which means a Predator user is going to feel super awful against a Distortion user.
yes, assuming you’re in chase long enough for them to get it back it makes predator useless against that survivor

im gonna go back to vanity mirror myers with stealth build and pig meme builds -
I’m glad she got nerfed but… even I agree this was a bit much, she really didn’t feel as awful to play against as these nerfs would suggest, seems like overkill but idk

At the very least, I expect a killer, a survivor, and a map. Getting the license to FNAF is such a big deal. So many players will be drawn to the game through brand association and DBD will have Resident Evil 2.0. That is my predictions, very excited to see what happens. I refuse to believe BHVR would make us wait months just for Legion to get the 4 FNAF characters as a costume similar to the Silent Hill rabbits.
I have to agree that with a license as big as FNAF if they do anything less than at least 1 killer 1 survivor and a map than there will be a big stink about it, and will really be wasted potential.

Yeah, there's one YouTuber in particular who actively cheats to get someone banned as a form of "revenge" for Behavior banning someone that they got falsely banned. 😆
It's crazy how prevalent cheaters are in the game and how they can just create new accounts to avoid a ban.
might’ve seen who you’re talking about, I remember the guy I watched was also pretty homophobic and did an entire video where he tunneled anyone with a pride charm, it’s how I saw his channel when I was watching videos of subtle cheaters.
I usually don’t call people this but he is really a pathetic person. (He even put trump on the thumbnail of that video)

Hey, friend! I totally understand your argumentation on BHVR’s tendency to overcompensate when balancing perks and mechanics, but I think it’s important to look at self-healing in a broader context and push for a more balanced approach rather than a complete shutdown of the mechanic.
You mention that self-care didn't need such a harsh nerf, and I fully agree that the drastic change felt over the top. However, this is exactly why advocating for a self-healing buff — whether it's through Self-Care or other means like Circle of Healing — is reasonable. The core of self-healing isn’t inherently broken; the issue lies in how it's balanced to fit the current meta. A well-tuned self-healing mechanic adds strategy without tipping the scales too far in favor of survivors.
Let’s look at the main concern here: healing pressure and efficiency. BHVR nerfed self-care because it was seen as too powerful, with survivors being able to heal repeatedly and negate killer pressure. While this was a valid concern, BHVR’s response — cutting self-care’s speed and effectiveness to the ground — has left a gap. Healing was once a reliable way for survivors to regain footing in a chase-heavy game, but now, survivors are forced into limited options, which makes the gameplay less dynamic. The over-nerfing has essentially funneled survivors into team-dependent strategies, reducing variety and taking away that "self-sufficiency" element that made healing perks enjoyable for a lot of players.
Now, when we talk about healing being "too efficient," we have to ask — compared to what? Sure, self-healing at its peak allowed survivors to heal themselves frequently, but it came at a cost: it was slow, required a perk slot, and left survivors vulnerable. Killers, meanwhile, have immense map control, stealth, and speed, and a properly buffed self-care wouldn’t break the balance in favor of survivors. In fact, a modest buff — say 40-45% healing efficiency — would make self-care usable again without reverting to the unbalanced meta it once was. It gives survivors an option to heal, but it's still slower and more dangerous than coordinating with teammates.
In a game where killers have incredible momentum with perks that snowball, like Gen regression perks, a slight self-healing buff provides a crucial counterbalance. The game needs to offer multiple viable strategies for survivors, and right now, with the nerfs to healing, we're seeing less diversity in perk builds and more dependency on cooperative strategies. That can be fun, but it also limits the ways players can approach the game.
Regarding Circle of Healing, adding a self-care option to it would fit within the current healing framework, especially since CoH has already been heavily nerfed. It would restore some value to the perk without making it overpowered. Survivors who choose CoH would still have to invest time to set up healing zones and be limited to specific areas, but it adds back an element of self-sufficiency that has been sorely missing. Self-healing gives survivors another layer of strategic flexibility without overpowering the overall gameplay.
I get the comparison to Billy, but there's a difference here: with Billy, the problem was in his high-mobility one-shot potential, which was too oppressive. In contrast, self-care never had that oppressive quality — it was a slow, methodical way for survivors to regain control. The nerf to self-care removed that option almost entirely, leaving survivors too vulnerable in many situations. BHVR did go too far, but this is exactly why we should be advocating for a reasonable buff to self-healing measures. It restores balance without going back to the old meta.
In summary, while BHVR's overcompensation with nerfs is a valid point, this doesn’t mean self-healing shouldn’t be buffed. A balanced, moderate buff to self-care and self-healing perks like Circle of Healing would enhance survivor gameplay without reverting to unbalanced metas of the past. In fact, there is really no point to even run different medkits since their overdone nerf.
I understand the sentiment but I was directly responding to somebody saying the reason selfcare got nerfed was because and I quote: “But people cried enough to get it nerfed unfortunately.”
I was just explaining the real reason it got nerfed, I haven’t stated my opinion on self healing at all.

Can someone explain the last stats to me. The seem useless to me.
On average, 0.83 hex totems are cleansed. This is supposed to tell me what now? What if the killer brings 4 hexes. What if they bring one? This includes matches where no hexes are played at all, if im not mistaken. What does this tell us???
you aren’t supposed to ask questions, you’re just supposed to see stats then complain that hex’s are too hard to find and use this as undeniable evidence

mid perks, shadowborn is good for huntress but that’s all

timesaver is really good, and just a nice perk to run if you have nothing else for a build

honestly this chapters perks are mid at best and honestly I wouldn’t recommend it whatsoever, I get every free killer and survivor with the shards but I don’t spend money on licensed dlc unless I like the killer/perks
You honestly should’ve made this a poll to get better numbers, if you want other peoples opinion on what perks you buy.
