this is honestly how I feel after ~3 game
-
well to be fair W keying is very easy and effective and if done right wastes a lot more time and is much more efficient than looping. Overcome, Vigil, Fixated, and WoO is (in my option) a very good hold W build.
Of course I mainly do it because I’m not very good at looping as I play in the console wasteland (switch 🫠) and W keying is just way easier for me 😁
-
I agree, I don’t like having to try in this game (I’m being 100% serious, I don’t want to play this silly game in high MMR because I can’t run my funny builds T_T)
I still feel like MMR just dosent work for a game like this, with its ever changing balance and new broken (I use broken very lightly because I’ve seen some killer and survivors go crazy over stupid stuff) combos/perks every two weeks

It's at least 30 seconds, but the main point that you apparently missed, is that you have to do something other than gens at the start of the game. That's exactly what corrupt is intended to do: you can't do gens immediately, it slows you down right away and delays gen progress at the very start of the game... Just like weave does.
Again, you're completely missing the point. You're getting roughly the same value as lethal and corrupt IF THE SURVIVORS ARE "COUNTERING" YOUR COMBO.
It does even more than that if they didn't counter it.
And you don't need franklin's for this value. If survivors know to counter it at all, then they see weave and assume you have franklin's. By the time they realize you don't have franklin's, they've already dropped their item and didn't even get a notification that you don't have it. 100% of this value is in one perk: weave.
I'm not complaining about oblivious, I'm complaining that weave also somehow accomplishes even more than just lethal and corrupt, and potentially infinite wall hacks.
People defending this perk will literally say anything, or deliberately misunderstand the point, to have the broken thing in the game.
once again. 30 seconds vs 90 seconds. Of a perk that isn’t guaranteed to do anything. If nobody brings an item, uses it, or just gets rid of it, you get no value, for less than lethal.
You missed my point completely, that lethal and corrupt not only last longer, give confirmed value, and also give additional value (lethal aura increase) than weave if they counter weave. Out of curiosity did you put it in quotes? it’s a hard counter that removed half (or 1/4 if they only brought weave) of the killers build PERMANENTLY if done correctly. If you don’t counter it that’s a skill issue, this is the easiest thing to counter, people dunked on killer for complaining about DH by saying it was easy to counter, but killers say it’s easy to counter this and there’s an uproar of whiners.
This argument ignores the fact that Franklins is the literal reason that this wall hack combo works, you act as if survivors dropping their items and wasting what is 1/3 of corrupt value is somehow a game winner??? If you getting rid of your item is THAT BAD that you’ll lose the game then it’s once again a skill issue.if the killer dosent have Franklins then they don’t get the wall hacks on loops or gens, if you drop an item by a loop or gen that’s your fault. If there’s no franklins then weave gets no aura reading and only gets the same value as 1/3 of corrupt.
If you aren’t complaining about it why is it in your argument? How does it accomplish more, if you drop an item that takes maybe 30 seconds then you get rid of the perk completely. Once again Lethal and corrupt gives you Longer, guaranteed value every single game that combos with other perks, weave dose not. If you give the killer infinite wall hacks from it then then that’s a skill issue.
People complaining will literally ignore how builds work to remove something from the game.
But since apparently that’s such a problem then it should be completely fair to say OTR is a broken perk that needs to be removed right? Because it wastes 90 seconds of the killers time if the survivor uses it to body block, and if they “counter” it then they waste their time on weapon wipe and give them speed boost away, giving it even more value. So because of that we should nerf OTR into the ground right? Of course not, because it ISNT AN ISSUE but double standards won’t let you acknowledge that so I don’t expect a response to this :) -
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten 5 stacks of penti-mentos in my life. But I’m also just bad at this game so :P

It's not that the counter is hard. It's that the killer is getting the value of at least two perks while the survivors are "countering" their two perks.
The counter to this combo reveals the survivor, makes the survivor oblivious, and forces them to do something other than gens for 30+ seconds at the start of the game. That's like lethal pursuer, effectively corrupt intervention since they aren't on gens right away, and they're oblivious to boot. Which doesn't even count that they don't get to use their item without even more wasted time traveling and aura reveal.
It's too much.
Or, alternately, I really want a survivor version of this combo. It isn't hard to realize that "not using your killer power" is never going to be a reasonable counter to completely passive perk choices by the opponent.
30 seconds.
OTR lasts for 90 and stops killers from being able to do their objective. The counter to that also gives survivors value. But if I was to complain about OTR and DH combo then I’d get told that theres just “an easy counter” so I’m not allowed to complain.Lethal and corrupt are also two perks, just like weave plus franklins are two perks, but they are less powerful because corrupt last longer and lethal extends all aura reading.
Also oblivious? Are you seriously complaining about oblivious? You sound like the type of player to complain about scratched mirror myers because you can’t hear his terror radius. There is nothing wrong with oblivious.
There’s also distortion, object, and other perks that by themselves counter half the killers build, plus get value even if they don’t bring that combo.

No
THIS seriously sucks

I didn’t even know this WAS a perk

The fact other killers can see the issue with the perk but you cannot provide real feedback and instead insult others :(
The fact that survivors and killers have given the easiest counter to a perk combo that doesn’t even use perks plus multiple perks that completely negate the perk combo which practically removes half the killers load out and you just ignore it :(
I play both sides, any time I go against this combo I activate my two reminding brain cells I have (before you twists this into more insults against others this is literally me insulting my own intelligence) I just drop my item in a corner, and then the aura reading the killer has mysteriously disappears 🤔

Cant have slowdown
Cant have aura perks
Cant have chase perks
Cant even use 2 perk slots that'll do nothing if the survivor doesn't have an item
I miss anything regarding perks?
you forgot one
Can’t have perks.

survivors learn not to be greedy and just give up one of their thousands of items challenge, level:impossible
-
wolf is borderline useless and just plain boring, perks are mid at best, hellfire is just another ani loop power, bat is mid power and can’t stealth for #########
If you really like Castlevania go ahead and get it otherwise I wouldn’t bother paying real money for it

Usually a newly released killer is either too weak, either nerfed after one or two weeks.
I suspect many players are waiting to see if this one is worth buying. (If I recall its perk aren't worth getting at all for my playstyle.)
his perks are mid at best, his perks are basically just corrupt for chests and totems, but only for 8 seconds. Undying for chests. And a hex that is just a slowdown for the obsession only that also reveals its aura so it’ll be cleansed in about 30 seconds.

blight part 2, electric boogaloo
-
I think they either need to
1:ban a map for that game
2:be deleted completely
3:only have one map offering that sends you to whatever was the most recently released map, then once a new chapter with a map is released the previous offering is removed, and so on and so forth.

It's not that I dnt wanna play against pc players it's more I want to play some killers I like for example blight the oni I find it very difficult to play from controller
as I mentioned it’s just more difficult, for specifically the kinds of killers you are talking about (killers that can do flicks and such) console just can’t compete as well without you changing your sensitivity a TON.
It’s a harder and longer road to learn killers like blight and one on controller but it is possible, it just requires a lot more muscle memory and most importantly self discipline.
-
welcome to console, almost every (if not every) game that is on console and PC the PC outperforms console in every way imagineable. Is why the toxic “PC master race” people exist. It’s why FPS games have aim assist for console players, console as a platform (when comparing the average person) puts players at a disadvantage when paired against PC players.
To answer your question you can just cross platform to PC, that’s what cross platform is for.
With that said console players can be absolutely CRACKED at any game if they really put enough time and effort in, so if you are dedicated then you can one day be just as good or better than you were on PC, keep trying and good luck 👍

So, just came off the stream.
The only changes we will get are a lantern item, new maps in the mix and larger AFC range.
Kinda hoped there would be more.
Disapointing

there’s always the classic Zenshin and Windows, but that’s obvious.
Eyes of Belmont is just Lethal Pursuer for survivor
That’s my argument, they both give auras on the posing side and extend other aura duration.
-
they can’t really fix the mode, the problem is the core game they’ve created highly detests stealth, unfortunately this mode is just flawed by being normal 1v4 + spookiness
To make it better they’d have to make it a completely separate game from 1v4 by changing the objective away from generators and instead based around hiding and survival.
At least in my opinion

that’s more of a rework, he will probably get number tweaks, but I honestly would have loved a crawler instead of another ranged killer
-
probably not, his perks don’t seem worth it at all to pay real money for, I buy pretty much every león licensed DLC with the in game shards for the perks but I’m honestly going to just wait for shrine of secrets with this one.

Can we just be happy for the people that like to play them?
Your making people feel bad, you realize this?
both of these +1, why do we have to say that killers are “ani fun” and “brain dead”? Are we seriously that insecure that we have to call people brain dead for just playing a game the way they want to play? That’s really sad.

A character that people can and did pay for is not going to be deleted.
not without a refund at least, if they just yoinked from the game with no compensation that would cause an uproar from people who used money on something
-
no I don’t miss when survivors could outheal killer hits with self care spinechill botany knowledge and effectively trap killers in corners indefinitely.
I also don’t miss when COH just gave the entire team a fifth perk for free (self care)
I also don’t miss insta heals

No thank you. Put gens at 10 like it should have been, make more classes for survivors. Add more killers. Add more maps, fix bugs and help queue times.
This is great, the class system for both sides is a thing I really like and would love to see it expanded for both sides, along with obviously more maps, killers, etc.

Oh no!
Anyway…
Seriously, Add Ons, Items and Offerings sucked the fun out a bit of this mode, since players who wanted to sweat did it by bringing strong Items/Add Ons and a Map Offering.
chaos shuffle = everything is shuffled 👍

I would say this has devolved into aggression but I’d be lying, this thread started with aggression. Can we please chil out and dial back the aggressiveness?

there’s a handful of maps that are garbage for m1 killers, a small handful that suck for every killer, and a small handful of maps that suck for survivors, and a few select maps that are completely RNG dependent on which side it favors.

a killer being boring is subjective. If you don’t like how a killer plays don’t play it. If you don’t like versing a killer just try and win to end the game faster. Uninteractive Killers are almost always interactive for the other side. If you find playing as a killer is uninteractive and you don’t like that just don’t play it. If you dislike versing a killer you find uninteractive for survivors either try and end the match quick or try playing as killer for a bit.
Both of these issues are pretty much completely subjective.

what I'm getting from this is that you, too, agree that your previous assertions that "50% kill rate means 0% win rate" was erronious, and that things are actually a whole lot more complicated. glad to see that you've seen sense.
