I understand that they dont want to wait for 10min for 2 survivors to do Gens to escape.
But I dont understand the need of slugging for 4K for OP's match

LOL, evidently my brain just blanked that part out :D
Cause then yeah, that's a worthy complaint OP
-
Because the game is clearly toast and they have no desire to sit there for 10 minutes waiting for you two to hammer the gens and leave. It sucks for everyone but let's just move on to the next match.
More often than not, I will let the survivors do that but I've certainly had times where I just said F it and wanted to just move on at that point.
-
For now at least, it's the only "victory" you're going to get. Short of a complete overhaul of the mechanics, tunneling and camping are going to be here to stay.
While I 100% agree that the camped should get some kind of extra BP, right now all you can do is chill there, hope your team is smart enough to just hammer gens instead of giving the killer the free 4K, and try to get some satisfaction in being a team player instead of just killing yourself on the hook/DC'ing.

I will use them on cat toys

Everything bad is happening to me because the devs are biased against whichever role I'm currently playing. I can't believe they'd kill their game like this by making it impossible for me to escape any trial or get any kill. So completely unbalanced and unfair 😡

If you didn't enjoy the game two months ago, nothing has significantly changed that would make you start enjoying it more, especially on survivor side.
-
The hard part is that there's really no "mercy" a survivor can do for the killer to show good will or whatever (short of just letting themselves get killed I guess). Good etiquette for a survivor is more about what you're NOT doing than it is what you're doing (like bullying the killer, mocking the killer, etc).
-
You people realize that the visual terror radius is exactly like the normal terror radius except you see it with your eyes instead of hear it with your ears, right?
Like...if she's demanifested (so no terror radius), the visual terror radius will be dark. Unless something major changed that no one informed me of, it's the same thing as the sound terror radius.

Reading all these comments, guys act like you can't be healed in dying state... Or that all survivors run the same perks. I even said what if it was a boon totem then it wouldn't be abused but no one here sees that. But yeah, you guys get all the likes even when you got it wrong. Wow.
I'm sorry that no one likes your idea but there's a very good reason people don't like your idea. It's just...not a very good idea. You swung and missed, no shame in that but lashing out at everyone else for not understanding your "great" idea is not the way.

I don't really care unless they're using that to justify something stupid. Then I think they're stupid but that's because they're being stupid, not because they're a X main.

I did my best for now. Super zoomed in with my phone so not a great pic but as soon as I stood, he took off so it's the best I have for now. I love the color on those goldfinches

Hm… I have that a lot too. Most of ‘our’ birds are off the moment they see movement.
Only the tits allow me to get close—I once opened the curtains to a blue tit sitting right next to the window, and we just stared at each other for a moment before we both went to do our thing. Not sure what we did for them to get like that, since our street has quite a few “outdoor” cats that do occassionally take a swipe at them.
On the complete opposite side, the one that I really wish I could get on camera is the eurasian jay. It always just makes a quick landing, snatches a whole peanut and is off again.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OFBUBAEQ4KDH/image.jpeg
I bought a local bird guide from the local bird shop (where I buy all my seed and whatnot) and I've been trying to identify the birds using the guide. Although I do commonly run into that same problem that when I begin to move, the birds fly away so it's been a little tricky at times...
I got a bit of a new setup for my feeders now too. The f'ing squirrels kept getting up there and they actually broke the tube feeder (the green one on the right). I had bought the big (supposedly) squirrel proof one on the left to replace it (that cage falls down if anything heavier than like...2 pounds is on it so it stays up with birds because they're light but closes with squirrels) so I do intend to replace the green one on the right with the big circle one that I've had in my pictures before (the squirrels were just so easily able to get into it that I took that one down for now. You may also be able to see that the pole is moved back from the house and the squirrel cone is WAY higher now so once I confirm this works against those little bastards, I'll make the switch.
Also I have those little butterflies now all over my window because they're actually reflectors. The poor birds kept smacking into my window so the reflectors help break up the reflection they see (so now they can tell that's a window and not more "bird feeders" for them to fly at).

There are a few beautiful American Golden finches that go to my bird feeder.
I see them at my feeder a lot but they're skittish AF and always take off if I move towards the window with my camera.

They are punished, they have the DC penalty. You shouldn't be reporting them.
But also, why is that such a big deal? While I'd prefer that no one DC'ed in the game (short of an emergency obviously), if the killer is waiting until the end of the game to DC, why does that matter?

If someone is struggling so badly that they're whiffing hits with bloodlust, handholding is not doing anybody any favors.
Bloodlust puts you in a built-in advantage to land a hit overriding bad rng. If you whiff, that's entirely a skill issue. And a bad outcome should follow a bad play.
There is a bad outcome; you missed the hit and have to now continue the chase for extra time. Also given the jankyass hit system on consoles, it can commonly not be a "skill issue" when the PC guy 360s and the game becomes confused and smacks that nothing next to the survivor instead of the survivor.
There's no need to pile onto whiffs
-
If someone is struggling so badly that they're getting bloodlust and they are whiffing hits, I don't think that punishing them even more is doing anybody any favors.
-
There is no consistent answer because different survivor players want different things when a DC happens. Some want you to kill them ASAP and just let them move on. Some think you should "farm" and try to get everyone lots of points. Some think you should just let them go hammer gens and GTFO. Some think you should do that but at the end, let the killer have the kills for being a good sport.
You do what you want as the killer because you're almost certainly going to irk someone no matter what you do.

I've always been of the mind that anything could be adapted as a DBD character with enough creativity. If an adaption is done well in the game, people will buy it. BIg name IPs certainly help with the casual crowd but a well done character will sell.

Shorterning Tantrum doesn't resolve the issue since you still need to learn every hitbox and tile to avoid hitting into them. Also with a short tantrum, you still need to wait 12 seconds to get 3 Chainsaw charges back.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3396398#Comment_3396398
Good Bubba mains already run loops extremely tight. See this example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgIEqcyK7Cs and his vods. It's mostly random hitboxes and occassional misplays that causes Tantrum.
It is true that a good Bubba can pull off extremely tight corners anyway but at that point, that's a GGWP rather than the character just being broken.
I know people like to pretend that Bubba already is just an EZ mode but it is not easy to take those kind of corners that tightly and get away with it. The tantrum forces a player to actually be good with him in loops rather than just being able to hug the loop tightly and get the free down.
-
@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
It's all fine until you meet some nasty bush or tiny thing next to a loop.
This
The Tantrum is needed to balance him out a bit (otherwise you'd never be able to even try to outloop him during a sweep as the Bubba player can just hug the wall just like the survivor) but it's incredibly frustrating at times what DBD determines is something you tantrum against.
But most killers have to deal with the odd collision of something you shouldn't be colliding against so whatcha gonna do?
-
I kind of feel like I play a different game than many of the solo players because I haven't had any real issues with Solo Queue either.
Sure, I'm a lot more likely to get a useless teammate that gets me killed (either directly because they refuse to go for saves or indirectly by refusing to get in chases when everyone else is on Death Hook and they haven't even been touched yet) but you can't balance crappy players. That's just kind of the name of the game sometimes.
While I do get these craptastic players once in a while, it's not like I get them every single game. I don't even need God teammates with me; if I have three other competent players with me, I feel like I have a great chance to escape every time.
-
Holly wants to play!
Ha haaaaa...
I need a hobby

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
-
I enjoy playing it. There's not some super deep and secret reason, it's a game I enjoy playing
The fact that I couldn't care less if I escape probably helps a lot. I'm the kind of survivor that, unless it is literally hopeless to save someone (Bubba camping in the basement for example), will always do their best to get everyone out alive. It's also a pretty simple game with many little side things to master, which is nice.
It's also really nice that every game is it's own independent game that doesn't last very long. It's not like playing a single player game or whatever where you need to sink a lot of time into it. I get in, play a 15ish minute match, and get out. If that match went poorly, whatever.

Because those are the threads that do numbers
Good, unique, thoughtful threads get 5 responses before dying an undignified death facedown in a gutter while GAME IS DYING AND ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS A BOT gets multiple pages of responses as everyone talks over each other.
-
I've had so many games as a survivor where I barely ever saw the killer because for whatever reason they couldn't catch someone and insisted on chasing them the entire time anyway. There's not a lot else for me to do BUT gens and I'm not going to not do gens just because the killer is being stubborn in their pursuit.

NGL fam, these look awful :D
I had never heard of Youtooz but I was warned they always have awful looking eyes and these are no exception. Not even Bunny Feng, who is the only one I would expect to be able to get away with the goofy anime eyes expression, looks terrible as for some reason she has some Kharadisian lips on her. Take away the white eyes on Huntress and she might look ok but with the eyes, she looks awful. Trickster has some weird ass double eyes going on with his model and Wraith looks like a survivor pooped themselves and he just got smacked upside the head with the smell...
I'm sure there are fans of these things but that's a Yikes from me dawg
-
I've seen the bug on The Twitter but I have yet to actually encounter it myself so I do wonder if it's not a widespread thing or something. But I literally have yet to play against someone running it (which is weird to me since usually people will jump on bugs like this if it gives them an advantage) so I don't know if it's every single Merciless doing it or if it's a weird and uncommon combo that does it or what is up with it.

The Holly pics were putting too much of a strain on the forums so they had to stop the codes to take stress off the servers

That's a long time to play a game you hate
-
I wouldn't expect it at this point.
It's literally been years since it was promised. I know it's claimed that it's Microsoft/Sony digging their heels in and not "allowing" it but plenty of other games being released don't have this problem so I just have a very hard time believing it's someone else screwing over BHVR rather than BHVR either being unable or unwilling to do it.

all the Tippy's will look up and shout 'SAVE US!'...and I'll look down and whisper 'meow”

I've never been able to figure out her damn powers
If the survivor is close enough, the birbs are supposed to damage them. But they never seem to do that. If the person has birbs above their head, the power always seems to take so long to recharge that I don't have a chance to hit them again before they clear them from their head.
I'm sure it's a "ME" problem rather than birb lady but I get frustrated playing as her as it seems all so wildly inconsistent for me
Also, birb
