i mean they still announced it... why would you if things weren't concrete or soon to happen?? any good company knows not to do that or make people wait for soo long.
They announced it sure, but they didn't say it was coming anytime soon.

Cross progression isn't as easy as it may seem, especially considering they have to get sony to agree to this. A deal that would likely cost BHVR alot of money, im not sure if Microsoft are cool with it, but sony being sony, I can guarantee that making Cross progression from playstation is a huge hassle
-
20 minute's? Oh no....anyways
-
There was no real reason imo to remove bp bonuses, it's not like they where just given to you, you had to actually earn them via hooking or unhooking
-
So I just hopped on and I'm met with
"The game has initialized incorrectly and may not save your game properly. Restarting your game may resolve this issue"
Is this happening with anyone else?
-
There won't be any nerfs to camping or tunneling, the devs have already stated (numerous time's) that camping and tunneling are strategies, so no matter how annoying it may seem it's not going anywhere.
-
I didn't even think of that combo, gosh.

They have stated that work on a chapter begins 9-12 months before it releases - this shouldn’t include negotiations with license holders in case of licensed killers.
as to licenses, they have stated that they reach out to license holder if they are interested (eg they have stated since the first year they wanted Pinhead/Hellraiser franchise so that took several years) - but they also get contacted from some license holders as DbD is a very popular game.
Yes it did, thank you ^^

I've always thought people over stated how hard nurse was to learn, if you can learn muscle memory fairly quickly then she isn't too difficult. Without a doubt in my mind, the hardest killer to master is billy
-
I've honestly been enjoying deathslinger, getting those shots to consistently land over and over again feels nice.
-
I'm sorry, but saying updates where hard on survivor's isn't a valid reason. That's like saying "Every killer who dc's was justified because of the amount of survivor sided patches", more often than not they played the game out. Survivor's shouldn't hurt their team by dc'ing, they should play the game out

Jeepers creepers: 2001
Killer: The creeper
Survivor: Derry or trish
-
The title was definitely dramatic lol

Wow, I wish I got 40-50k per match. On survivor I'm doing good if I get 10k. Commonly camped out and die first hook in under 5 mins for under 5k.
My 4k killer matches with flan usually nets me about 35k, but then you have 10 minute queue times.
I usually have some spare sacrificial cake offering, thats the only reason I get so much lol
-
Although I respect your opinion i disagree, the oni is definitely one of the more balanced killers in the game, and one of the strongest. (A tier imo) sure he has a weak game at the start, but all you need is one hit and follow that survivor till your power is up. If you have infectious fright, you can end a game as oni really fast. I also disagree with the pov, you don't have to hold in onis club attack, you can hold his attack for about a second and you'll get that instant down.
-
Imo, yes absolutely. If you play super safe, pre drop pallets, hold w against alot of the killers (apart from nurse or blight who can catch up instantly). Then yes, I believe holding w is still a strategy
-
I'm sorry but this is a bad take on bbq, it rewards the killer for getting a down and hooking. If you think the killer has bbq, get in a locker. There are ways to play around this perk. It doesn't need a nerf.
-
Yeah I feel like I'm one of the few that feels like little has changed. Don't get me wrong, having all teachable unlocked when you go to prestige 1 is fine and all, but they have cut down the amount of blood points you earn. So without any bloodpoint offering, you're earning around 50 or 60k per game. And it takes around 1.5 million to prestige. So I feel like its not helping the new people, the ones that need this the most.
-
I'm going to assume you are trolling, hence I won't make an actual response.

@CampingSadako said:
You did work with the survivor though?
I don't follow. So you're telling me you played against an AFK Nea that hid in lockers the whole game while the other 3 survivors worked their ass off to win, and you gave the AFK Nea the hatch?
She was being immersed i think, im not sure. It was mostly the other survivors I kept finding, she wasn't afk.
-
Has to be pinhead.
-
You seriously think pinhead needs to be disabled? And you're better going against a nurse or blight? Now i know you're trolling, sure man 🤣
-
Go go kill your friends with 1 person, practice mode activated
-
They should remove the tier system in perks, that would cut 66% of the overall grind and insentivise people into possibly reaching p3
-
I must have missed that, in a way I can see needing bloodlust 1 but, removing 2 upwards would be good

Bare bones (No perks, items, or add-ons can be brought.)
2v8.
1v1 Cowshed.
I feel like a 2v8 would be really hard to balance tbh.
Nice otz reference.

Mods have previously mentioned that there is no plans for a Jeepers Creepers chapter because they want absolutely 0 association with Victor Salva. Even though he doesn't have any part of Jeepers now, it's the fact that he did - thus making this chapter never going to happen.
I had no idea, alright. Thank you for clearing that up ^^

As much as I enjoyed the first two films and would like him in the game, I think the Devs will err on the side of caution and keep him away from the game. Plenty of other properties with less baggage to pursue .
True, even though his rights aren't victors anymore, I think the involvement he use to have would have alot of hesitation
-
Oh yeah I agree, the new movie coming out is ironically called "Jeepers creepers: REBORN"
So maybe it will reboot the franchise? As you said it's an old movie and the character isn't as known as some other's, but we shall see what happens ^^
-
I agree completely, tiers were a good thing back at release, but now its just annoying.
-
@WretchedElk said:
I think those movies are pretty much dead. To be honest I’m surprised two other people still remember them.
There’s also some unpleasantness around the writer director. (Google it if you’re interested).
True but the rights were sold to another company and I think that Victor has nothing to do with the character anymore (although I could be wrong)

I agree with making impaling wire, I don't agree with him having an extra chain though, adding one wouldn't change how pathetic his power is on maps like Lery's or Gideon meat plant.
That's true, I think that trying to give him some threat is critical, because the payoff for the reward is a joke. As you said pathetic really
-
BHVR really likes classic horror, but I think the creeper is really unique and if we could eventually get him in the game, I think it would be awesome
-
I'm hoping for earnable cosmetics/outfits for killers and survivors. Much like the Halloween event where you could get the doctor outfit. Although I think it will be paid stuff.
-
It's really condescending, I main pinhead, so landing chains (and actually getting injures/downs) is very tough most times. But getting 8 hooks is less skillful because I'm outplayed by a bubba who camps basement and gets a 1k, 2k or a 3k.
