Ignorant post? Yeah right bud.
Sorry to upset you, but there is nothing ignorant about this post. Its straight facts.
I've played 80-90% of my games in the past 3 months PC-Only. As the title states, the difference when I go back to crossplay is night and day.
Thats not ignorant. Its observation.
I'm sorry you can't play PC-Only with me bud. Thats not elitism. Just reality.
You're clearly butt-hurt about this. Its amusing, people are throwing shade at me for this post, and its not even meant to be a jab at console players. Its just the way it is. The PC-Only community is small. I see the same players night after night. Many of them are competitive DBD players, and others are just 1k - 6k hour sweatlords.
If you can't see how that leads to a circumstance in which I advertise that PC-Only is sweaty and higher skill, then you can leave. Because the reality is, when I turn crossplay on, my teammates are significantly less efficient, less aware of situations, and absolutely dreadful at recovering when a killer applies good pressure.
My games on PC-Only end in 6-7 minutes. My games on crossplay never end in under 10. Its the way of the world mate. Deal with it.
Your literally shouting at your self, you observing something is not FACTS it’s opinion.
Can I just ask you what rank are you playing at and how many hours have you got in ?
ps you really need to work on your mannerisms. You come across a really arrogant pretentious person how’s just full of gas.

There's no counterplay to current DS.
Slugging is not a counterplay. "Not tunneling" isn't a counterplay when they're fully healed and doing a gen in your face with DS still available. Everything you said will only be true when the nerf happens.
How many matches as killer do you get a fully healed survivor doing a gen and you Down/grab them and you still get hit with DS?
Yess slugging is 100% a counter player against DS as it works!
-
@JimbusCrimbus said:
You'll notice most of them made the decision to move away when the DS nerf was announced and confirmed. (except for ANGRYPUG, who doesn't need DBD).
It's almost as if without their cocky offensive DS plays, their content isn't nearly as entertaining.
Ds is not even such a big deal, I don’t get why people despise it so much. It’s literally 1 hard skill check that’s available once per match. Some many counter plays around it.

@KayTwoAyy said:
If you're a sweatlord PC gamer, and you haven't figured this out yet--turn off your crossplay. Not only are queue times faster during most hours of the day, but your teammates actually come with their heads attached.
What an ignorant post, I don’t know what you aimed to achieve from this.
I’ve always played on console, I do know that there’s a lot of advantages of playing on pc, like way better movement which is a big deal and character mechanics ie Blight.
That being said people with elitism mindset such as yours does nothing to help either side. Please don’t re enable cross play. Thanks

that everything works fine when you release a patch or a new feature
Every game has bugs. This is an unavoidable fact, and the foundation that DBD is built on makes it buggier than most.
that you don't change our game experience with your tests
It's a live game and, if you read the EULA (End User License Agreement) that you agreed to in order to play this game and must abide by the terms of to continue playing, you'd know that they can do or change whatever they want, whenever they want, as they see fit.
You must be real fun at parties 😩

seriously I am actually getting a challenge as a survivor rn going against killers who force your team to adapt the way they play instead of the opposite, the game was a sweaty mess for everyone from start to finnish, one of our team8 got tunneled at 3 gens and the nurse manage to 4k us with only 1 gen left at a 1v2 scenario. I was really happy over how I finally started to get more killers who dare to push survivors limit and put their skill and decision-making to a test. hopefully I will get more consistent games like this,
This could only mean dread to come for us solo queue survivors

@Yumyumtasty said:
I will just suicide on hook on every match against her but sadly my fellow survivors give Nurse a pass because she "takes skill".
I think you're lying to yourself that "she's good" if you go down against her on that pallet and that you just had a ton of fun going down in 10 seconds tops, just because she has enough mustle memory to not fail her blink.
Why such broken game design is left in just because some people find it entertaining is beyond me, this killer literally only exists for streamers or dailys and I'm gonna say it: She's not even THAT hard to learn and only is hard to play on maps like Lerys/Hawkins where mostly a good headset will carry you. Depending on the map there's absolutely NOTHING you can do as a survivor if she's ANY good at predicting your movement, the whole chase is absolutely in her hands and it's not even like old legion where you have a little grace period before you go down.
I completely agree with you, I run the nurse better than my mates but I still kill myslef on first hook

Not gonna lie I’ve done some camping Bubba builds recently . It was a way to let off steam after the usual toxic swf coldwind OoO tbagging players. Sometimes the game gets to you and it becomes a vicious circle of toxicity.
I like your honesty, but if it hurts so much to play why even bother?
im gonna have a few more matches today and then ply something else for the next couple days. It’s just way too toxic atm.

Please do not report things that are not against the game rules, it wastes the time of the people who deal with the reports.
Camping/slugging are not against the game rules and there are perks in the game to help you deal with this, granted against Bubba BT isn't of the greatest use...but the ability for the team to do gens whilst a killer is camping is still viable.
I think the whole toxic behaviour, which is the point of the post is going over your head.
-
@Xzan said:
If he gets a 4k with a basement build its the survivors fault. Do gens and get out. It's boring, but as long as survivors keep rewarding those "dangerous tactics"... well.
its solo queue, someone’s going to try and save once they see the struggle stage and it just snowballs.

Terrible argument. as a nurse main with 1.5k hours. She needs a nerf. This argument is also terrible on the other side. Tournament squad SWF need to fixed too. Ideally they should give solo queues more information and ways to communicate (perhaps a way to "ping" things to each other) and do some other things then nerf survivors/SWF or buff killers as a whole to close the gap between solo and SWF.
A pinging system is such a good idea, and there is so many ways of implementing this for example all survivors whom bring in a map can ping items and locations and its highlight throughout the arena permanently for every survivor running a map.

I see good nurses maybe like once a month or so.
It's been a bit more though lately because of the tome i guess,however i don't mind versing a good nurse honestly.
I don’t have your confidence, I think I’m at that stage where nurses are my bane in regards to killers. When I started playing dbd it was legion then Doctor and now I need to GiT gUd against nurse 😂
-
@MysticalMagic92 said:
How often do you face a high-level Nurse though? Of course, you're going to get destroyed every once in a while. Sometimes there's nothing you can do. However, good Nurses are quite rare, so it shouldn't happen often. If you encounter good nurses often, then yes, that's just unfortunate matchmaking.
Well that’s good to hear. To be honest if I go against 5 nurses 4.5 of the matches are a complete wipe. It’s very rare, to have a decent match. To put this in context I’m playing at red ranks.

I don't know if your trolling or have misread the post, or are just blatantly new to the game.
They are saying that they went to help, but when they got there this person tried to deny them the rescue, and deny them the points safely thinking even if she didn't get off she would be saved.
That is plain selfish behaviour by the person on the hook, and you should never do it.
I would understand leaving them at that point, if they want to try and secure points, and play selfishly In a team game then they can die securing those points via that playstyle.
Couldn’t have said it better myself!

Hi, I'm relatively new to the game and already I'm really struggling with mental health issues whenever I decide to pick up the game for a few matches.
I'm honestly just looking for someone who can provide some of the ways you guys have been able to cope with the toxicity in the game? (Body blocking, flashlight stunning, tea bagging, etc) A few games I can take and let me be clear I don't mind losing but the bullying and harassment is really getting to me.
I mostly play killer, namely Bubba/Lestherface/Cannibal but a few others as well. I feel like especially recently the cruelty among survivor players has spiked significantly and I don't know what to do... I do my best to be calm and not let it get to me but it's really affecting my sanity and causing me to become severely depressed and in some cases causing me to self harm (Something I haven't done since years and years ago). I honestly am just looking to improve and play with people but I can't take much more of the unnecessary cruelty...
Take it easy buddy, it’s all a bunch of pixels. Whatever happens in game cannot affect you in the real world. When it happens try to find the funny side to it or even poke jokes at yourself.... that’ll help you not taking it so serious.

Huntresses use Iri heads for the same reason survivors are rushing through their keys at the moment.
I don’t think this a fair comparison, I’ll tell you why.
A- rarely do I see keys being brought in.
B- an attentive killer can counter this by taking in franklyns- which I’ve done every time I saw a key pre match.
C- strategically tunnel and remove the key player.
D- there is no other direct counter play to iri heads, other than what you would normally do against huntress.

At least before Moris got nerfed, I basically never saw an iri head huntress that didn't use an Ebony Mori as well. And it always resulted in the huntress tunneling the guy off hook as well.
Your right, it just fosters the most negative play styles from both killer and survivors!

As people are fond of telling me when I play my hardest
"Because that's boring and unsportsmanlike"
But you do you man. I know I'm not going to change your mind - you're here for validation. Sorry I can't give that to you.
There’s no need to be defensive, We all know people hate it so there’s no validation seeking. I am just puzzled as to why huntress mains still take this add on in 2021 knowing the end result.
-
@FrenziedRoach said:
Because add-ons are there to be used, period.
And frankly, people who quit because of an addon are the worst kinds of bad-sports which is why DC's are punished when you do it enough.
I get the feeling that most people hate Iri heads! If Huntress brings in iri heads with infantry belt. I can only assume they are looking for a quick easy game. Why not give them that!

Learn how to judge how far she is going by how long she holds down the power.
Since I've played a bit of nurse, on that map I can decide in a split second which side of the pallet I have to be on before dropping it.
Also abuse fatigue and gain distance to make her blinks that more uncertain and punishing. Also looping around stairs can ######### over the nurse if they aren't careful, even simply switching levels can mess them up. The stairs are deadly against nurses.
Playing as nurse helps you counter her.
Thanks for this, will definitely be trying the stairs trick as you explained...

Freddy is the one that ruined undying ruin (no pun intended) for all the other killers.
the problem actually lies with the people who play as Freddy as they are generally just psychos.

at least 3 of 4 survivors do this, either at the start or on first hook against Freddy. 3/4 is the same as 75%.

Step Three: Whine that DC penalties are ruining the game, after DCing, because HOW DARE THEY PLAY A KILLER YOU HATE!? 😁
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/230082/how-to-win-against-freddy-purple-to-red-ranks
So basically; throw the match because you don't like the Killer's choice, and no one but you deserves to have fun. Got it, toddler.
Lol it’s not throwing the game due to presence in killer. If 90% of people absolutely despise playing against that one killer then I think the killer is the problem. And I’m assuming the devs agree other wise why would he be getting reworked. :D
nice try tho.

This is literally what survivors do and they try to call killers entitled babies. Absolutely pathetic, and of course BHVR just caves in to them everytime they stomp their feet and they give these kinds of players exactly what they want.

Yeah this has been happening to me since the update, I’m consistently losing pips due to unbroken not awarding any points
