Who else remembers the guy who came here to brag that when he switches on his vpn to play across the ocean he suddenly gets 4ks every match and that this must mean those survivors are worse than those on his continent? :D
Don't know why the game doesn't just yeet anyone with a 600+ ping out to main menu.
Screenshot's from an older game I'll never forget. Every single hit against every survivor was like this. Nope, not my connection.

1.1 miion bp used on my main landed me with a total of 7 cakes. P3 level 50. If i had cakes, I would bring them.

4 killers told me in chat yesterday they specifically tunneled the shiny people. All but 1 were rank 1, the last guy rank 6. So far I have 1 crown but I had to ask for help from two friends who legit played bodyguard for me in two matches.
So I guess killers want more swf to go against?
Getting crowns as killer was fun though, I even helped the survivors get theirs once I had mine.

I hate grabs on both sides. They just never work when I'm killer. But my favourite rage inducing grab moment was as survivor. I get the unhook, unhooked guy actually gets to run away, AND I STILL GOT GRABBED.
Honestly would just remove all just like hatch grabs.

I play on ps4 and pc as well and I don't think I lose skills upon switching platforms :D Using controller on pc btw.
I can still do 360s but there is definitely a difference in performance. Even though my pc is not a strong one (just a medium gaming laptop) it still holds fps better and has less freezing.
The timing for skillchecks is different too (not because of the controller as I used ps4 controller on steam too).
Looking behind is harder with a controller to me so when I can't really do that I use sounds to guess where the killer is.
Oh btw sounds. Ps4 is not giving surround sound, my pc can. Not a big difference but sure helps when I pick spirit :P

Favourites:
- Iron Maiden - loved it even before the buff, I get a lot of value out of it somehow
- Alert - Best info perk imo, great at showing me who I'm facing, great at loops, great at telling me which pallets/walls are gone, can even detect stealth perks like tinkerer
Least favourite:
- Insidious - This thing was never ever used for anything other than facecamping. Should be deleted. If you want the same effect, just play a stealth killer. Don't waste a spot on this pile of dung.
- This is not happening - Has this ever helped anyone after their 5th survivor match? I'm probably better off with the no mither - self care combo

As survivor: I was accused of hacking after escaping through hatch when the last person died with 2 gens left. This gem was livestreamed so I know I even got reported for it :D
As killer: Once again accused, possibly reported for hacking when I always found slugs. I was running deerstalker because my headset was awful.

If you struggle so much at red ranks that you come here to cry you don't belong at red ranks.
Legion has a great mori.
Aftercare is underrated.
Iron maiden is underrated.

She's free, decently strong, people coming from fps games might find it easier to transition by playing with a ranged killer.
Looks cute, has nice cosmetics, tall enough to have good sight, most perks work well with her.

I played a lot of survivor recently so here are my answers:
Pallet bug: annoying but not as bad as the desync was.
Tunneling/camping: about 60% ends with one guy chased for 3-4 gens at least. In these matches mostly the killers never attempt to leave kindred range either. The other 40% is normal. If there's no obsession it's very rare that the game is normal.
Wins: depends, monday I died only once. Tuesday I didn't live once :D Generally my dying rate is around 70% but i don't care as long as I get around 20k bp.
Rudeness: New update made this a lot worse. Sure we had the occasional bad apple before but now is really bad. Getting hit on the hook until I die, getting harassed in chat, etc. I dont tbag or clicky. I dont even use flashlights because I'm controller peasant. The only meta perk I run is BT sometimes. I just hope they calm down soon.
Slugging builds: Haven't seen an increase.
Ds: I never use Ds anyway so I wasn't affected by the change. I have a friend who didn't use it before the change but never takes it off since the new update because as I said, the tunneling got a lot worse.
Am rank 2 atm, so most killers I face are red with a few purples here and there.

Fog whisperer iri head huntress raged in end game chat at us for not falling for his shots.
Not the most toxic because I had people say worse in chat but because it's a fog whisperer. Don't think those people should behave this way.

I'd change main event to be like Oni's power. Triggered on command and stops when it runs out or he picks up someone.

With the abysmal state of MMR, I don't blame Killers for occasionally going "Nope" in games.
I had an awful AFK wraith round a few hours ago. Only 2 BP offerings, 1 single medkit. No object, 4 unique survivors, no Claudette. Map was corn tho.

These guys probably had a bad day :C 2nd place Meg actually managed to get me out of the basement with insidious Bubbles facecamping. She was great. She was the 2nd to die btw.

I kinda run the same build on most of my killers with some variation but here's a spirit build:
Spirit -> red schoolgirl + matching short hair -> BBQ (for bp), Unrelenting (because I'm bad), Iron Maiden, Make you choice
Iron maiden and make your choice are my favourite killer perks.

It only deactivates if the owner of the ds is doing the healing (self care or healing another surv).
If someone random is healing them, it's not deactivated.
That's not cheating, it's working as intended. Read the description of perks at the end of the match.

I just had a cute lil Cheryl take me to basement and offer herself. Gave me her map and pointed to the hook after the others left. I downed her then brought her to hatch where she still refused.
Was not the first time. When Im survivor I also do that sometimes and so do my friends. I think it was a week ago? that we had someone try Plague for the first time. She tried so hard and had good moments so two of us let her kill us.
When I have enough points (bp and/or pip) I really don't care about surviving. If I see someone try honestly and not be a toxic pos then I'll try to help them.

The absolute dumbest reason so far happened last year. The killer was a nurse with BBQ and it was really obvious that she had it. There was one moment when I was 40+ metres from her, no gen or locker near me so I just stopped and stood still. Not even crouching, just standing still and once it was over, I went back to sprinting where I was originally going to.
Then she caught me eventually and kept hitting me on the hook until I died. I was the only one she did this to.
In chat, she explained (with a lot of nice lil swear words) that I am the absolute worst because I somehow "exploited bbq" by standing still?? And that I deserve to die because this is somehow cheating??
Rank 2 nurse, everyone.
Other reasons would be hitting them with a head on, looping them for too long, using a medkit (?), and of course, playing a character with a cosmetic they didn't like. Struggling with this a lot currently as I'm maining pretty blue Yun-Jin.

I love her blue outfit, I actually bought it despite not being a fan of buying cosmetics. It screams "mermaid fashion" to me and I was really into the siren killer theory before Trickster was announced.

I agree about the controller thing. Haven't tried him with mouse yet but I'm the only one among friends who complained about how slow the response is so it might be the controller's fault.

Unfortunately, I don't have any screenshots so I asked a friend. I was the adept in this round. The 2 kills were all before noed which never popped cause the dude only downed with the knives after all gens were done.
Was a 3-man team too.
Have to admit, guy was a real pain in the butt tho. Very nasty in chat.

Ehh, I'm happy with him. Level 1 with only CC and I got a 4k with a controller :D Played against him too, it was fine. They averaged a 2.8 kill. It will get better once people actually get their preferred builds on him. One poor dude even had coulrophobia cause he had nothing better. Still got a 3k. Red/purple ranks btw

Lot of people underestimate the length of a match. Last time someone complained about a "5 minute gen rush" I actually had the match recorded and it was a bit more than 11 minutes. Dude caught someone at 5 gens then proceeded to facecamp for several minutes.
This was in a full red lobby btw. It was a wraith, ruin+undying (before rework) up the whole time. Poor guy who got caught had kindred and wraith never cloaked while he was near.
At that point, I don't think it's the game's fault.

I'm pretty sure i'll main him for a while. Tried in ptb, seemed fun and i absolutely love some of the sound effects he comes with.
Will i 4k? Probably not but i don't play killer for the 4k anyway so im good.

That's fine. It will not affect you in any way and I don't really care about people who tunnel but I'm angry at those who specifically change the way they play just because noone has ds.

Back before crossplay I was living my baby survivor life on ps4 when I got a doc who tunneled me for 4 gens. Thanks to my lovely teammates I escaped but I guess that really ruined his day because I got tunneled then facecamped with extra hits on hook in my next 2 matches with him too. Which happened almost right after eachother. (the next one was with him, then two without and the 5th was him again)
Really wished for a block player button then.
Someone mentioned that maybe the blocklist could be limited, like 3 players only and once you block the 4th, the first one gets "released".

One killer reported me for cheating because I escaped through hatch before all the gens were done as the last person alive. I'm red rank atm and sure I have plenty of potato moments but I can't be that bad, right?

This reminds me of my favourite hit in the game ever. I know, old but gold.
Every single one of his hits were at similar distance. He spent 10-20 seconds to find the bodies each time.
He claimed to have "perfect connection and 3-4 ms ping"
The game saying "dodged" is the topping on the cake. :D

I am sorry to comment again but apparently, my rank was only half the reason for the report. He was streaming and was screaming cheater after I escaped through hatch at 2 gens when the last person died on hook.
So on one hand, i guess I understand it more why it seemed weird that the match just suddenly ended but on the other hand I really hope this was just an MMR mistake and the game doesn't think I am "bad" enough to go against killers who don't know what hatch is.

Sometimes the news don't pop up for me when I start the game :c Would be dumb to get banned for this though :D
The sad part was that even after I told him that there's MMR testing on and to read the news he was still going on about me obviously cheating. Even though we also had two rank 19 survivors in the match I could have been friends with.

I like pairing it with pebble, iron will and dance with me. I vault, break los, hide with urban evasion then throw a pebble. Doesnt work every time but when it does it's beautiful.

I faced a very popular streamer once as a survivor. It was by far the worst match that week, killer was absolutely toxic, facecamped the first guy caught at 4 gens then after we popped another we saved him. Got hard tunneled to death (he outlasted his ds in the chase too). I'm sorry David.
Once he died, the lovely streamer did the same thing to me and the others. It was live on Twitch and the chat was constantly bad mouthing us, though I admit the streamer wasnt (I checked the stream after I saw the killer's name). Don't remember the addons, I rarely check them but build was bbq, ruin, undying (before rework), overcharge. Not sure why bbq and overcharge since he got no use out of either. Just stood still in front of the hooks even when no surv was nearby to save. I knew (David had kindred) and streamer knew (was doc and blasted often).
However, I also have good experiences too. Once I was survivor I met a lovely ttv Jane. I had aftercare and she knew about it. Once she figured out I had multiple people collected with it, she would use gestures to communicate with me and we organized some really cool things.
Once I was killer I met a youtuber playing Steve and that was awesome too, we had fun chases. I let him go at the end because he deserved it.
Overall, I had both good and bad experiences with streamers. I don't really mind seeing a ttv in lobby, helps if I can rewatch a match.
But it is always better to play with smaller names. I faced two fog whisperers so far (both live) and one was annoying, another was full on toxic in end game chat, baiting salty comments (noone replied but dude spammed us for a good minute or two despite getting a 4k with iri huntress).

I had something similar happen to me as a survivor, posted about it here too. Platform was Steam, killer was Pyramid Head. Game said I escaped, gave me 5k points but removed a pip and my offering was lost. To me, it showed that the killer DCd.

It's a bug. Besides pc, I've seen it on ps4 too. Seems to happen when the killer picks a different character in the lobby before the match. It can also affect survivors if they do the same, then their perks disappear.

Similar thing happened to me just on PS4. Played against a Pyramid Head but endgame turned him into Oni with two yellow Oni add-ons and all the perks were missing (but this happens almost every match recently and it's probably a separate bug).
