I don't remember seeing this in the patch notes, but this sounds like a bug
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1154903#Comment_1154903
Its not as you can only do it up to 5 times, and is longer than healing normally as you have to cleanse a totem, which is about 15 seconds, and then find a locker and get inside, which the timer on that is pretty long
Its not too strong, but its decent
anyways I am pretty sure not healing in the TR counters Coulrophobia
That's a dumb argument. Not only does cleansing remove the chance for noed but it removes that healing penalties that perks inflict. Lockers are common. The coulrophobia argument is invalid because not every killer has a small terror radius when they run it. And being able to heal in a mend-snap out of it situation is busted.

How about you get into a game as a solo survivor and start to mess with a killer and show how killer is weak aganst 1 on one? All i see is those players with 2000 hours getting found the last while bad solo survivors get rekt.
I like playing immersed.
I'm also great in chase.
(It's not my fault if my teammates are terrible) Why would I put myself at risk? I laugh a lot more when those "Terrible" killers can't see a blendette in a bush.

Before the patch the time started once a survivor started going into a locker. Now it only starts once you're fully in it. The perk wasn't that strong...
NOOOO. It only countered thanataphobia, sloppy butcher, dying light, coulrophobia, madness tier 3 (could heal before you snapped out), etc.
How is THIS NOT strong?

A survivor turning so quickly in a chase that at 100+ fps they literally disappear due to the killers fov and auto aim thinks a wall is a survivor.
This is so true on console. Especially after Oni was released.

100% buff on Grunts of Pain isn't a simple buff, it's a disappearing act.
Hey, sound is bugged right now so this is CLEARLY okay.

The biggest Mind Game is when Survivors / Killers don't Mind Game, they're just playing like rank 20s and you're not expecting it so you Mind Game yourself.

I played a handful of games yesterday and only had to drop one survivor due to sabotaging hooks. There were several attempts where I could see a survivor going to a hook and I was able to just change my route to a different hook. So the only way to effectively sabotage requires multiple survivors running to different hooks which requires a lot of survivors not doing gens. It'll be a thing killers need to be aware of but it is also 100% counterable. If you are getting sabo bullied then you need to adjust your tactics.
No offense, but you probably aren't high ranked or were just lucky.

I just wish people would stop using streamers as examples of anything in the game (and I stream myself). Go off your own experiences in the game not what others do or appear to do. i'm sure there are plenty of great killers out there who don't stream and are relatively unknown.
But I just wish people would stop taking streamers playstyles/loadouts as the 'best' way to play.
Tru3talent is to killer as noob3 WAS to survivor before spirit was released. They both have a skill level that they excel at. Tru3s mistakes probably are from adrenaline rushes (no, not the perk). And noob3 gets cucked by hitboxes now.
Edit: Poor noob3 (RIP)

This perk is honestly just very un fun to go against. Should be 32 meters or a 10 second cool down :(
Cuz you chase after the killer with a purple flashlight and can't get the save "wah wah"

In one of tru3 recent vids he had a game as the new killer and alll 4 gens were done in 4 minutes, the game lasted around i believe 8 minutes long and he got a 3k people are using this vid to say that killlers can come back from gen rush, gen speeds are fine ect ect. Here’s my problem tru3 has a few thousand hours on killer and is arguably one of the best EU killer mains. Most killers would not be able to come back from that
This is 100% true.

If a survivor blinds you they really blind you
Next patch:
Brought back insta-blind flashlights

How does this infinite blinding work?

DS. Having to keep mental notes of who I hooked and when on top of all the other ######### killers need to keep track of is crazy. Then there's the times I down and hook one to two people and STILL get hit with DS. Like, no, I wasn't tunneling, the survivors are just potatoes and I'm stomping them like I should!
Going against 4 Adrenalines, 4 Unbreakables, 4 Decisive Strikes, and 4 Exhaustion perks and getting called bad when all 4 survivors escape is the thing that ticks me off the most.

@toxicmegg said:
spine chill because i'm a ghostface main. i have no issues with other perks but spine chill is annoying when i try to sneak up on survivors.
Wouldn't object be worse for you then. They can see your location.

I agree it would be nice if they grew a pair but as a business, why would you upset 4/5's of your customers? I hate to say it but upsetting us is the lesser evil ><
Funny how people still play killer. I nearly quit a few times myself, but something about this game draws you back, and I don't know what it is.

DS
It's the most used survivor perk yet it doesn't get the ruin treatment.
Even if I down/hook someone else I still get hit by it cause it lasts a minute.
It encourages me to slug. Which I hate doing.
People use it to get in the killers face which is immersion breaking.
The sheer number of survivor mains who claim it's an anti tunnel perk when it's still a 2nd chance perk.
If the devs were to actually nerf it like they did to ruin, it would be the equivalent of the ruin nerf. A ######### ton of survivors would suddenly suck and derank. But they won't touch it because it's 4/5s their customers. It took them 2 years to rework it and even after the rework it's still OP.
Exactly! And then survivors [BAD WORD} and complain when you kill them cuz you "tunneled" or "camped". Honestly, If the devs would grow some balls and be a business for once instead of a company who dies cause they "played it safe".

And there is also me, with nearly 3000 hours on PC, and i want to know why you think YOUR version is better than mine. I like sabo changes, as it eliminate something called "sabo squad" when at start of the game everyone focus on destroying every hook possible. How for you THAT was fun? For me it was annoying and also boring. The only thing killer could do in this situation was just facecamp the one who was bleeding on the ground.
For me its change for better, you cant now in one minute make whole team safe for 4-5 minutes of the game. And its also more risky for survivors, if you see they going for the hook just drop "package" and chase them. And as far as i know that was the voice of majority of this community.
If you have a similar version of this, know this, I did not plagiarise your work. As for your argument that about "sabo squads". Those didn't really exist on console. The time to prep all the hooks would be a couple of minutes for chases, gen pressure, map pressure, etc. I do not agree with your argument.
-
Welp, I cry now😪
-
If this mechanic got added to all the maps, I believe that brutal strength would be a lot more powerful.
-
Eat the decisive 100%. There's no benefit to slugging other than avoiding a 5 sec stun.
-
A positive thing about this game:
I would have to say, the best thing about this game is DEFINITELY THE COMMUNITY.
-
@Peanits said:
A couple things to note:
- They sound a lot like totems. I would rather see something that like that tied to totems rather than a new mechanic, since that could very easily be added onto it.
- 30 seconds is a lot of time considering you'd have to deactivate five of them.
- I'm not too crazy about variable speeds. It makes it really hard for both sides to judge whether or not they'll get hit before reaching that pallet/window, since the rate at which the killer is catching up is going to be changing sporadically.
Those are the main things that come to mind. I wouldn't be too sure about it myself. I tend to have a lot of close matches as the killer, and sometimes the right move for the survivors is to get some gens done while the killer is snowballing. Forcing them to stop and do 2:30 of a side objective would give me a ton more wins when I would normally have a close match.
Reasonable observation. If this could somehow be tied this to totems, that would be amazing. But beacons would also add a WHOLE new dimension for perks. That's what I would be most interested about.
-
@kamisen said:
That's a lot of speed you have there. 7.5% speed is way too fast IMO.
Keep in mind, that's 5 gens you have to complete without deactivating any of the beacons. Very Unlikely to happen in my opinion since they would be easy to spot.

Maybe it hasn't been suggested because it's overpowered...
Genius now are we?!
Edit: (To all the people who didn't realize that this was a joke post, play the game more)

@Cheers said:
No, just no. Denying the killer most tracking when you're close to a pallet is a bit strong.
The killer won't need to see your aura unless their using I'm all ears (which is rarely used).
If this was only blood, and maybe reducing the grunts of pain by 50%, I'd say this is a good perk, but scratch marks with blood? No.
Yes it may not be string in high ranks, but mid and low ranks this perk would be oh so strong.
First of all, the perk activates when you're away from a pallet. (Did you even read this?)
Second of all, scratched mirror Meyers, bitter murmur, etc. there are many other perks that aura reading could be affected by.
-
This idea is irrelevant because exhaustion is removed upon being hooked. The rescuer shouldn't be afflicted since they are vulnerable during the unhook.
-
GIT GUD.
Seriously, people need to understand how unfair the game is for killer. Survivors are overpowered because they have a combined total of 16 perks while killer only has a combined total of 4 perks. How is a 4:1 ratio fair?

(This is a repost for the addons with changes) Each addon impacts his playstyle to an extent (small or big)
Addon changes (THE 1st)
So, legion has TERRIBLE addons. I made them worse. If an addon isn't present I didn't change it.
Let's start with the ultra rares:
Iridescent button: Pallets the Legion vaults are broken
The legion applies and Entity Blocker for 20 seconds on any window they vault during frenzy
The legion depletes his entire power gauge when they exit frenzy
All survivors scream when the legion ends their frenzy
Fuming Mixtape: Tremendously Increases the legions undectable status effect when they exit frenzy (+10 sec)
The auras of survivors who are mending are shown to the legion within a 20 meter radius
Now very rare:
Filthy Blade: Considerably reduces time to mend (-3 seconds)
Survivors who are afflicted with Deep Wounds cannot Repair, Heal, Open Exit Gates, and Sabotage
Stab Wounds Study: Tremendously increases the time to mend (+5 seconds)
Tremendously Decreases the duration of feral frenzy (-2.5 seconds)
Franks Mixtape: Considerably Reduces time to mend (-3 seconds)
Missed attacks with feral frenzy no longer deplete the power gauge
Rare addons:
Nasty Blade: Survivors who are hit by frenzy are deafened for 10 seconds
Legion Pin: Survivors who are mending are oblivious
Susies Mixtape: (Revert back to speed addons)
Uncommon addons: (yellowlike)
Defaced Smiley Pin: Survivors who are mending breath 50% louder
Never-sleep pills: (Revert back to speed addons)
Common addons:
Friendship bracelet: (Revert back to speed addons)
Smiley Face Pin: Survivors who are mending suffer from the blindness status effect
And that's all she wrote. Please do tell me your thoughts. (I really hope the devs read these)

This is a dumb post. As a legion main I don’t understand your concern. In my honest opinion, ruin is actually BETTER than it was before since I can force people off gens and they have to mend. If you’re struggling to apply gen pressure, change your playstyle. People are forced to do certain things. Don’t rely on the same strategy all the time. Adapt to survivors movements. Ima rate this post (2 points out of 10) due to fact matches actually tend to last 7-8 minutes giving this game a general skill ceiling of 5.6.
