when I play killer or “played” killer a few times, I was always match with red and purple ranks. It would be a rank or 2 around me but the red and purple ranks outplay me and carry their team. I do wanna learn but I can’t playing against the ranks I’m playing against

Why should anybody be forced to play in a match where they aren't enjoying themselves in. The DC penalty shouldn't exist in such a unbalanced game.
I 1000% agree with this. It’s a video “game” and games are meant to be fun. Especially if you purchased the game with your money

Oh ok, thanks. I’m going to try a few more matches and see how it go. If I don’t like, I might just wait for the patch release because I already know I’m not going to stop playing. Just a lil bit

The way I've always treated it is, I'm in the same boat as everyone else, in terms of being the "wrong" rank.
Waiting a few days gives you some easier games, because you'd be going against less capable players. But playing now means you're being lumped in with players who are similar to you in skill, since the goalpost got moved for everyone.
Oh, I didn’t know that but before the rank changed I felt like people was more of my skill level. Now I just get survivors that do some weird things.
I’m alright with the killers I’m playing against. No complaints there. My 3 games (I’m not going to say 5 because I left my first game and about the third game, the killer dc’ed when I cleansed ruin. I never had a chance to play against those 2 killers) those killer were either better or about my skill level and I was alright with that, just the survivors.

How long do you think I should wait before playing after this rank reset? I can’t find the fun in none of the 4 games I’ve played. About to play 1 more and that’s gonna make the choice if I continue or stop for a few days until people back in the ranks they need to be in

I just had a game where 2 survivors blocked and the hag downed me. I left even tho it was my first down but that annoyed me. I’m pretty sure hag wasn’t work with them because I spectated a lil and she was downing them also. I don’t like rank reset. I was comfortable at 13

Actually you can. I think I said in a previous post, if not, I meant to but, I had fun losing and winning, not tunneling. I had a lot of games where I died, the whole team, half the team and wasn’t tunneled and had a bunch of fun. I had plenty of games when I escaped. Getting tunneled purposely with so many games in a row isn’t fun for me. So I dc to get in another game and potentially have fun. I honestly don’t care to escape all the time. Just be able to play the game because, it is well, meant to be fun from my understanding of a game.

True, but when I buy a game, I expect to have fun with it. I played plenty of games I’ve lost but it was so much fun, no tunneling or camping. But I just enjoy having fun, hey

I DCed my last game because it wasn’t fun. Was being tunneled. I like to have fun on the game

I was thinking the DC way too. I guess I’ll hook suicide. I’m just hoping it don’t take to long to get to a playable rank. I don’t even care to escape all the time. Just trying to have a lil fun. Not; come into a match, killer finds me (with bbq and chili), gets me, and the match is basically over after a few minutes

Im bout to stop playing till that hotfix arrive. I finally finish my clown ritual and I was match against; rank 13, 14, and 2 15s with all purple perks, items, and 1 had purple add ons. Here I am; rank 20, level 1 clown, and one perk slot. I’m glad I finished it tho. It was truly a pain

Oh. Thats why i would lose back to back, I wouldnt derank. I guess its time to just dive in there. I mean i'll just have to find ways to juke the killer. That happens to my buddy a lot, but I usually tell him to hide till someone gets found first than start doing the gen.
Try to save more, it gains you a lot of points.
Unfortunately if the killer camps, you really can't do much about it, it depends your team.
I hope this helps i know it is not much, but I would loop the killer but that gets in depth of your situation depending your looping skills.

Thanks for responding. Im about to try the hide and wait for the killer to be on somebody else. Sounds like it would work.
