I see alot of familiar people in my lobbies as well. I assume it's Because my mmr has settled into a certain area
-
This would have very minimal effect I believe. People want to win. Bp gain is secondary. I don't think a killer that is trying to win is thinking about bp gain mid match. I know I'm not.
-
I agree the self unhook should be removed but it think it should re activated it every survivor is incapacitated. It would remove hook suicides but still give a bit of chance to a team that has been completely decimated.

I seriously dont think it will be an awful idea if done right. An instant bleed out if you are downed would be bad, but if the option to die on the floor was given upon 90-120sec of being slugged it would be fine.
I think it would be fine to implement with your time scaling. Maybe more like 40 or 50 would be alright too. What I don't want is people raging over their first down and killing themself before I even have a chance to hook them or kick a gen or something. Sometimes you got to slug for a few while you chase off the lurking flashlights. I don't want people just rage quiting the moment they go down.

Tell that to the survivors that teabag on the hatch or the gate.
Why? Do you care what they think or do? Don't let survivors annoy you. If your sensitivities are hurt that easy you're in the wrong game.

Fam, if I get 3 kills along with finding the hatch (which is a 50/50), I DESERVE THE FOURTH.
It's so ridiculous that this can even be defended. Imagine if the Killer had a button to press that randomly appeared on the map after 5 gens were done, and there was a 50% chance one of the survivors just had a heart attack and died upon pressing it.
Is silly. I did my job, why does someone get a free escape?
No you don't. Nobody deserves anything. It's rng and a lot of luck.

At some point they will have to address it.
They will strangle the life out of this game before they admit they were wrong about mmr. They've put to much into it.

The killer player chooses to return to the hook.
The killer player chooses to not take a second to look for another survivor.
The killer player chooses to tunnel out the player that was hooked.
The killer player chooses to rely on aura reading perks to find survivors.
Distortion doesn't seem like the sole cause here. The root cause though seems to be the killer's inability to find survivors without using aura reading perks.
It's not a inability to find survivors. But if you have a aura read you know where someone is so why would you look elsewhere? It's less of tunneling then cycling. The two survivors without distortion. Will get hook stages and the others will be ignored.

I agree completely that mmr sucks royaly. It has no place in a party game. If dbd was truly a competitive game it would be fine but it's to imbalanced to be competitive. But that hard truth is the devs will never admit they were wrong about it so it's here to stay. It's a pride thing and we can't do jack about it.
-
Definitely bedham or garden of hell. even bhvr recognizes that goh is a ######### map but for some reason they have a blind spot for bedham. It's been a horrible map for years and nothing changes. They're initial redo when they added breakable walls to the new map really didn't make it any better other than graphics.
-
Mmr is made to give you sweatier and sweatier matches until you reach the hight of your skill and win half and lose half. It's designed in such a way that if you play to win you are going to have to sweat for it. If someone doesn't want to sweat then this isn't the game for them. It sucks for some people but that's what mmr does. It turns a party game into a competitive game.

Hello, mines are
P70 Pyramid head
P28 Alessa Gilespie
P16 Nemesis
P10 Xenomorph
If i could play more, i would finish Pyramid head then do the Alien, Nemesis and Alessa in this order.
Mine is a p100 wraith. I would do pyramid head but 100 prestiges of those addon's would cause severe depression

You are seriously overstating the problem. It's true there coordination and perk stacking is a problem but ultra powerful coordinated swfs aren't as common as you state and the bully squad you mentioned is only bad if you let them tilt you. If a team is in your face with flashlights And head ons then they are no doing gens and are all nearby for rapid injuries. Start slugging and pretty soon youll be bullying them instead

As survivor: autodidact...because I love when my SWF mates rage when I am healing them and they found out I brought it again.
As killer:hangmans trick. Because it is completely useless. I like to equip it on blight with no other perks to baffle players in the endgame. I pair it with black ward and no add ons so they think im crazy
Well if you're running autodidact you probably deserve the rage. Bad survivor. Go sit by the hook.
-
I won't argue against more maps and cool features for them but I would prefer they figure out map balance first. Bedham, the game, and garden of pain still exist after all.
-
I haven't played it yet but if it truly doesn't effect gameplay at all then I already like it. Last even I lost victor into the void and constantly has survivors hiding From me there. If this doesn't have anything like that then it is a success.
-
A good solid build for almost every killer is corrupt and deadlock for general slowdown. And scourge hook pain reso and scourge hook gift of pain. I tend to run chase builds but this build is the one I put on of I really want to win.
-
I weep for the poor pc players who lost another advantage over the console......wait no I don't. Maybe they're finally bringing the multiple platforms in line.
-
As a killer please don't. I have no interest in playing against a bot. If I wanted bots I would go play fortnite or something. When I have a bot in my games I ignore them. Game state can be bad I don't care. I don't have any interest in hunting or hooking a bot.

They'll get to it after they throw out all the reports for tunneling and t-bagging.
While I don't actually think they will ever get to it you aren't completely wrong. The sheer amount of people who report in the moment of game rage is staggering. I'm sure they have piles of pointless anger to shovel through for every good report.
-
I do enjoy using it on wraith with serpent ash and beast ash. Not gonna say it's good but it's hilarious to have them vault serpent uncloaks you and you get the speed boost.

It's kinda funny because most "balance" discussions on this forum are only fueled by "feelings" and not facts either...👀
Agreed. Even I've fallen for that one before and had to retract my opinions. If only we could all look unbiased at balance changes.
-
Yep that me bringing her numbers up. I'm maining her now as a stealth killer and I will be in all your lobbies waiting on you.
-
She's feng min. Leave it alone and focus on more important things like game balance. Not inconsiquential things like people's feelings. Don't waste the developers time with stuff that has 0 bearing on anything.
-
It's a op combo that has no real counterplay and it can feel horrible and unfair buuuuuuuut........ It's not an exploit.

I'm not worried about being tunneled by killers who rely on three gens to win. Players like this are usually terrible in chase in my experience.
Is that the excuse you give when you lose a game? If it helps you cope with a loss.....
-
Personally I approve this idea. It would be a nice way to show off our commitment to a particular character being it a killer or survivor even if we're playing somebody else we can show off.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/399649/the-three-gen-problem
I think that the goal of the developers is not to fix the 3gen problem (in fact, this is just a symptom), but to completely prohibit the killers from winning in such a way that they will serve to change the demogorgon with hag in the next patch, because they will most likely die after solving the third generation.
And I believe that the developers are trying to eradicate this problem so that it no longer restricts them, besides 3 gen is the most terrible thing in the game.
Perhaps the hard tunnel or strong killers will literally become the only way to have at least some adequate survivors, and that is why the DC will be strengthened.
The killers will have a very fun six months
If they truly do remove any form of three gen from the game all that will do is make tunneling and camping much more frequent. They would literally be shooting themselves in th foot. I hope you're not right but it wouldn't surprise me anymore.

Except they have already more than once confirmed to be working on extra game modes.
And it's not a good idea to do it.
-
No? The entire point of the perk is not to be found. Rewarding someone with chase who is running a perk to avoid chase it utterly ridiculous.
-
People survived and learned this game for a long time before those perks went basekit and will continue to do so now that they aren't. Like with all things dbd we adapt and move on.

How many times did I have a Blight come to me within 5 seconds of the match starting, and seeing the same happen to streamers. Does no-one find that ridiculous? Xenomorph can also use their tunnels right at the start of the match, and reach survivors within 5 seconds. So many times I've had Xeno come out of a station at the start of the match right as I was taking out the turret (before it starts beeping), so I inevitably get hit, because I had no time to set the turret, and Xeno already has their tail attack available.
Meanwhile, Dredge and Onryo cannot use their high-mobility right at the start of the match, because they are on cooldown. And they are much weaker killers than Blight, Nurse or Xeno. It just feels wrong. Demogorgon also can't immediately use portals for mobility, there is a set-up that needs to take place.
I think that no killer should be able to reach survivors "in an instant" at the start of the match, that's too much free pressure that killers in general do not and should not have, especially since perks like Lethal Pursuer and Corrupt Intervention exist.
(I didn't mention Hillbilly because the poor guy is so weak right now, even though he does fall into this same category)
You can call it free pressure if they used lethal. That's a entire perk slot used so they could apply that pressure. Easy pressure, sure. But not free.
-
Na. I don't think anybody is really expecting it. Game base is never big enough to allow for extra game modes. I wouldn't want them to add anything that effects que times.
-
I agree weaker killers need something but I would prefer individual buffs to basekits to bring them inline with mid killers. I'm gonna catch flak for this probably but I think the strongest should be brought down and the weakest brought up. As normal tier lists work in d through s I think d and s shouldn't exist and it be c through a. I know tier lists are subjective I'm simply using them as a example.
-
I agree as long as It doesn't hide you aura from killers. There should be some risk involved in using the ability.
-
I play a lot of merchant now and I do camp or tunnel and I mostly run chase perks and ignore gens. I don't put my drones on gens or basement. But I still see people quiting all the time. Sometimes I switch to wraith just to have a serious match then realize people hate him to. I just want to play stealth killers.
-
It sucks but also understandable. Killer ques already suck after a new release. If repeat prevention was active it would be so much worse. People want to try the new killer and we wait in 5 min ques for that to happen. If repeat prevention was on they would probably be as long as old red rank lobbies. Please I don't want to go back to that again.

i understand that you want to keep your totem as long as possible but body blocking a totem like a powerful hex like devour making it impossible to break is totally cheating and should not be a thing. body blocking just should be removed from the game.
Again, read above. Not cheating. Just good strategy. Stick to gens and keep one person kicking victor. If your any good of a survivor group your fine. If you lose to that then you didn't deserve to win anyway.

"Excessive pre-leaving" and "excessive hiding" are Killer Rulebook nonsense that you post about in every thread you possibly can. It's getting ridiculous.
Agreed. It's called smart play. Easiest way not to get hit by the killer? Don't be there when looks for you. I'm a killer main and even I can't fault them for pre running.
-
Ruin undying, cob overcharge eruption, pain reso pop. Dead hard, resilience mft. Both sides will always have a meta based on whatever is strongest. When they get nerfed a new meta will pop up and people will complain about it until they nerf that on too. It's a unending cycle. Just enjoy the ride and never get addicted to any perks.
-
Because they just change. Look at trickster. They can't tell the difference between a nerf and a buff half the time until it goes live so they say change and let us tell them which they did.
-
I completely agree. They should be like overcharge skill checks. You leave the gen and the skill check goes with you.
-
That's not cheating it's called protecting a totem. If the killer is doing this then they are sacrificing their power to protect a totem. They should lose against any semi coordinated team or even just solo que that has a clue how to play. One person kicks victor and disappears waits for her to set and leave, kick again. If she keeps placing victor she has no time to defend gens and she loses. If she doesn't she loses the totem. It's up to the survivors whether her play style works or not.
-
I like the idea but I just think of full team denying a kill for each survivor. Would drive me insane in a match. I love the locker switch idea and would love to see it in somehow.
-
Nemesis- every time I go against one he has high mmr zombies. Stealth attacking, hook camping little bastards.
Pinhead- solo que player here. Box solving either doesn't happen or happens right next to the killer.
Number 1-nurse.
-
I disagree. As stated above the buffs to killer were made to assist m1 killers who were struggling. Increasing things that hurt them would be completely counterproductive. Also it would help against stronger killers but honestly? I don't care about them. I'm sick of them nerfing things because strong killers use them too well so the weaker m1s suffer for it.
-
He is already one of the worst killers in the game. He has a decent chase but that's it. He has no mobility. If you use his yellow bottles then you either lost the time you made with he speed on the reload (you actually lose more distance than you gained, I did some tests in customs) or you're just a m1 killer with no power if you dont reload. Let's not nerf somebody that doesn't need nerfs.
