Is incedious like a new perk I haven't discovered yet?

Judging by the first four letters I'd assume the killer is covered in fire that damages the survivors if he stands still?

or ... did he have the all powerful "BraveHeart Perk" the one that makes you 7 feet tall, and then you can shoot lighting bolts out your arse? I guess we didn get dressed up for notin

As a killer, if you had a seperate queue option for facing SWFs and you were awarded bloodpoint bonuses for being brave enough to CHOOSE to face them, how do you think it would affect the game and the queues? Would you take the challenge?

It could be double bloodpoints for 4-man and perhaps 1.5 bloodpoints for facing 3-man.

I play Killer exclusive, and I think its a good idea except that when going into the game - the killer should never know based on the game knowledge if they are swf - extra points only added at end- otherwise they might just leave

I’ve been looking through these forums for quite a while and the stuff I’ve seen is so stupid such as the recent “killers need 5 perks”, “noed still needs a buff (even after its buff)” and arguably the most stupid one I’ve seen as even the devs called it an in game mechanic “bodyblocking should be bannable” yes hate me all you want for bringing that up but I’m a killer and survivor main so I see both sides of the story. On one hand with relation I can see why 2 of the three makes sense but noed needing another buff would probably be just to add small ms back to it, while the bodyblocking bannable thing I COMPLETELY see why. Survivors use it (including myself) use it as a way to save survivors when there’s no other option unless they want to risk a camp/patrol on said hooked survivor. While however on the killer side I know how much it annoys you and it feels unfair. But guess what?

THATS WHAT AN ASYMMETRICAL GAME IS MEANT TO BE LIKE.
I know most of you probably won’t agree with me and that’s completely fine. I just want to get my point across.

well aside from the blocking part - how come a survivor, when running parallel to the killer, (killer wants the other target) can push a killer, but a killer cant push a survivor (killer is smashed into a wall) ? it doesn't seem right to me - but I only play killer, and end up chasing people to the exit all the time and getting pushed around a lot - well often.

  • i play killer

this newly patched sound is killing my ears. too much loud music when i really need to be able to hear the survivors.
Most noticeably, after the gates get opened a really loud soundtrack plays just when want it the most to be quiet, and it never ends until they get out or i kill all.

i hate firecrackers, adding injury and insult. I really want to stop playing this game until the event is over

the game looks more blurry than before - fog is causing it

i never get any holiday points - the event is only for survivors

i started playing 2 months ago - how long do killer only players last untill they find out the game is totally against them and then only to get berated by survivors who love to congratulate each other

In the first game, I have been face camped by a leatherface and honestly I don't know what I have done.

Then, a nurse camped the ######### out of one person ant the other 3 genrushed her. All 3 of us escaped, the guy that was getting camped got 1.5k points.

I think I am done with the game for today o_O

I always laugh when it's either a P3 or legacy Nurse that camps at 5 gens and it's even more funny when it's a 4-5 blink nurse. Then post game they complain about being gen rushed.

1st game for me was against a really good Legion on Yamaoka Estates they ran NC/M&A with ultra rare and very rare, not for the mend but to sneak up on heals. They 4k'd us by playing really well.

There is a real correlation between being bad at the game and camping that is for sure. If it is a nurse doing that, it is almost certain.

Campers don't usually trust their chase skills. Usually what should happen in a game should be this. Find a survivor, chase him and down him within a reasonable time, let one of the survivors to rescue him while you chase another survivor.

1 in chase, 1 on the hook, 1 trying rescue someone, only 1 left for the gens. If you manage to get your second down until they rescued the survivor and healed them, you almost stop the game for survivors and start to snowball.

IF you play killers like leatherface, wraith, pig etc. I can understand that but if you are a nurse who is the best chaser in the game and have to camp one guy, I can only be sad for you.

    ooo camping ?

some games really good teams come in force and trash the hook with extreme prejudice- they can unhook any camp job tight - so if killers camp just do all the gens and teach em good or get good teamamtes and learn to save and snatch.

PS quit complaining so much you survivors sound like women without a store

ooo you must be pretty slammed at some nurse killer for ownage. nurse are like the slowest killers in this game. the stupid noise she makes sounds like claudette to me wrapping a bandage. i have no idea how people use nurse at all. must take days to learn.

Had a fun match as Spirit.  Running:
    -Hex:Haunted Grounds
    -Hex:Devour Hope
    -Hex: Thrill of the Hunt
    -BBQ & Chili

Was chasing a Meg as someone broke Haunted Grounds right as I swung at her, downed and hooked her, saw BBQ a Claudette trying to hide on the other side, downed her thanks to the HG and hooked her.  I gave a small patrol and heard breathing, spotted a sneaky Jeff trying to blend in plain sight in a corner...downed him and used my Ivory Mori on him (R.I.P. Jesus Jeff) right before the Hooked Survivor.

A Survivor went to rush the Hook after I moved away a bit, Spirited back and grabbed her off the unhooking, hooked and had her Sacrificed, which then the remaining Survivor boldly (silly) tried to unhook while I was coming back.  Moved back and saw her rushing to the Hook and grabbed her off thr unhooking but she still got the unhook, so I was laughing at the literal trade & the back to back grabs.  Chased after the Claudette, who instead of trying to lose me, threw a pallet down, which I went to mindgame buuuuut she bumrushed to get the unhook downed the unhooked and chased after the Claudette for a nice 4k match xP

that's a lot of balls running so many hex

  • I play killer and what i got so far is a whole bunch of firecrackers thrown in my face, some of them make me drop people. I have gotten zero extra points from the event, even though just about every hook has lights. I am kinda new killer rank 7 atm so i am not sure if the even is for killers - i guess not then ? just get stuff thrown at me ?

this event sux thank you - (not like Halloween event was awesome)

    P.s.
oh yeah the patch hurts my ears - the music is too loud and i cant hear stuff i used to be able to hear. today i grounded a girl she, was last out, i was busy chasing the others out- they left her- but she almost - i mean almost crawled all the way the other side of the map before i found her by sight at 5 ft to the exit line after 4.5 minutes of looking. The Whispers perk was active, but the open gate music was just so loud that its wasn't very useful. if i turned the volume down i would still hear just music blasting.

Christmas sux Halloween was better (when i started playing)

are killer supposed to get points at match end from the event?

Without the hatch there isn't that extra element that a killer has to account for.

It's needed.. unless you come up with a secondary method of escape.

yeah there is a secondary option its called gate number 2 and usually located 100 yards away from the first 1. Hatch is the third option and its unnecessary and its a cop out and instead of +bp it should be -bp . No gens no exit. period. thank you

  • Yeah i play killer and i noticed that pallets drop have larger hit radius? i am not even touching it - not even close to touching, plenty of space and bam stunned, surprised ! (are these meant to be exploding pallets with and aoe attached of 1 meter) ?

vault difference though - i don't see what you are complaining about- from killer perspective- they still get away pretty good at the vault windows and such

maybe just see all the changes they made and see how it balances out - i think personally 2 problems are affecting my enjoyment of the game most of all --->

    1. audio makes much much harder to detect wounded enemies- subtle sounds i used to hear- cant - music is covering them up - and some sounds are just too quiet now
    2. the disconnecting - 3vs 1 and a 4 gen is not that fun - happens like 35% of the time now where b4 it maybe happened 5% - it was a non issue - seldom occurred

summary: DEVs, as and old gamer of many many many great ones : when u change stuff in a game - Do a small change and see how it sits - don't revamp a really great work of art . (for example change the whole sky from blue to red in a painting - yes some will like it, sure, but its too different then)

  • what does dedicated servers have to do with anything in summer 2019 - i joined on 0ct 29 2018 and never had hardly any 3vs1 - i play killer and this patch is the problem

i mean where i live i have a great connection not to say that some people may not- just from my point it was always a good solid connect.

  • thank you thank you , i been complaining about this since the first game after patch. I too made an account for just this.

It is much harder to find survivors based on sound after this patch. some stuff is turned down. some stuff like chase music and game music is up.

Except this takes away from the solo survivor experience. If I am playing survivor and am the first out, I have to wait around for 5-15 minutes just to see what the killer was running if I'm curious?

And the threat of solo survivors adding each other just to tell someone what perks and add-ons are being run is extremely low.

Eliminated Survivors are exploiting the information gained after death and passing it to players still in the game. Your complaint is mostly irrelevant, the integrity of the game in progress should take precedence, over your desire to know.

this has been know for some time , and yet Killers still get patches like these today, completely favoring Survivors in almost every adjustment made. (the worse balance was the chase audio makes it unplayable as compared to yesterday and drowns out almost every other sound)

  • i play killer and the best place to loop me is the larger loops with area to look over to see when i switch direction. remember that you vault much faster as well.

  • well the game is already favored for the survivors (this patch just made it worse)
    1. is 4vs 1
    2. there are 3 possible exits very far apart
    3. pallets and vaults
    4. killers are a tiny bit faster going straight but get looped because they are slower to turn
    5. lots and lots of perk and abilities

and still they complain when you act like a natural hunter would (think like a male lion in Africa, would he say nooo that's not fair?):

tunnel into the wounded animal and chase the one that's closest to you, wounded and dying --- you are called a tunneler

defend that kill and called a camper - don't care how far away you go from it you are still called a camper

solution being: don't listen to the survivor bs - get 2 survivors out of the round w/e the cost, then get both on the ground then both on the hook. Try to establish a territory where there are a clump of gens close together and let them have the ones on the edges (well not have easily). Remember these are mostly millennials who think they are entitled to escape and they live in the world where everyone gets a ribbon - but lions know differently.

  • agree- the chase music is up like 25% now and completely unnecessary and disruptive, considering some games the chase music almost never stops. I thought it was too loud as it was before the patch but was able to live with it, but now... not playing it.

  • @Supernaut said:
Didn't everyone campaign for this a while back?
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VDvgL58h_Y

ROFL - that's what i feel like sometimes - as i only play killer - these new changes are much in favor of the survivor

  • Thanks to DwightsLifeMatters for agreeing with me .

Someone has said, logic in arguments are sometimes hard for people (who wont hear them) to understand. Sometimes people refuse to listen to logic because it interferes with their self identity and esteem.

Question to Devs... did u intend to turn the chase music up as a matter of balance?

Was I originally intended as a killer to be able to hear some progress on generators from x distance away ?

  • turnings up the chase music affect all killers across the board - it was already too loud before dev's please put it back

  • the chase music is too loud though (up in volume about 25%) - who cares about menu stuff - i want to kill people and it is a lots harder now.

You probably play survivor so dont care

  • OK SO THAT'S THEIR BALANCE ADJUSTMENT EASIER SKILL CHECKS AND HARDER TO HEAR SURVIVORS - TWO BALANCES IN FAVOR FOR SURVIVOR - BAD DAY FOR KILLERS - SO SAD.

i agree with op its way too loud

  • I don't usually use the forums in most games. I signed up for tell about this one thing only. Please revert audio back to previous levels - it was already quite loud
