These are so cool. I love them a lot.
Thank you Behavior!
most of them look like thumbnails for "p100 nurse vs 50 win streak SWF" old ones are far superior. The only good ones are the ones that use older art, like haddies new one.

For some reason people want the DLC listed in their library and they are pissed that it comes with extra baggage they don't want, but was probably part of the deal with Nic
guess that makes sense

If the Killer checked around for even a small amount of time, the perk's timer could run out, making it useless. I think it's fine as-is.
have it activate both times

This discourse is ridiculous. Whats the issue here? If you want nic for 5 bucks, you can get him with 5 bucks. Theres no scummy business here at all, just an optional bundle people are upset at for existing.

The anti-camping mechanic is not confirmed until they actually add it to the game
I heard from friends that the Bots suck, I haven't updated dbd yet so I haven't seen from myself what they're like.
What? If the devs themselves have showed off the feature in question and confirmed that its coming, its confirmed. and the bots are quite good actually.

The Devs shouldn't do anything about self elimination or self unhooking until they do something about Camping.
Camping a survivor without allowing them to jump off the hook or self-elimited is holding them hostage in a match where they don't get to do anything.
Well I actually don't think removing self elimination or self unhooking would be a good idea cuz people would dc if there not having fun anyway.
They are adding a feature to completely eliminate camping, this has been confirmed.
They just added DC bots too so removing self sliminating would be great. They HAVE to eat the penalty and their team gets a bot.
-
Wait is it possible to change them on pc? how?
-
Wrong. Average human reaction time is 0.2s, killer lunge takes 0.8s. and since dh lasts 0.5s, they need to walk up to you just to not get dhed.

So u didn't notice the other survivor that literally had to be at most 8m away from you? Or are you hard tunneling so much, that you didn't care for free hit?
bruh. this is like saying the killer needs to be terrible just for a flashlight save to happen. Not the killers fault that by clicking one button they make the chase unwinnable.
But nooo, guess tunneling is completely your fault. After all, basekit BT gives you two health states!

mad cuz bad rip cries about made for this when it’s your own skill you should be looking at and I used sprint burst after dead hard got nerfed till made for this came out now I use mft and dead hard love it
"i need 20% longer chases + a third health state so I can loop" pinnacle of skill; enjoy it while it lasts bestie.

They are charging £8 or $10 for 1 character with 3 perks. Yeah they bundled in cosmetics as well but that's still a massive ripoff
You are either forced to buy auric cells or fork out extra for content you don't want. What the hell, BHVR.
If the increased price is because of the cosmetics, can you give us an option to buy on steam that doesn't have them included? Thanks.
Im not exactly sure what you are talking about, but you arent being forced to buy the bundle. any character can be bought with auric cells, with unlicensed characters able to be earned for free.

sure, sure... you definitely use sprint burst.

I'd have concerns about where the parts are located and how much of an issue it would be to backtrack in order to bring them to the broken gens. It sounds like a nice idea on paper, if Survivors had a little bit more leeway in terms of everyone living to that point, but scenarios where the killer gets an early lead those last 2 broken gens to fix would feel more like a nuisance.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3491975#Comment_3491975
It is a problem? Skull Merchant's kit is just one of the most effective at the strat.
Any 3 gen can be broken against a non SM killer, excluding map specific examples. A 3gen on a map like macmillan or coldwind will get broken without extending the match by 20 minutes. Solos can do it, sitting on gens isnt hard.

There is issue. His some add-ons are problematic. They need to be nerfed. I don't have problem with his base-kit.
Base-kit Blight is fine and he has counters. But bugs and his problematic add-ons removes them. He should not be rewarded by them.
the addons need to be nuked but the bugs just offer more in depth gameplay. They dont remove counters they just shift them.

You can't know this.
They were working on meta and base-game changes. So they did not focus on spesific killers so much.
We will see if it's feature or not whenever Blight's get his own patch.
Nurse had her bugs for years and then in one patch , they fixed them. So just because they did not fix Blight bugs yet, it does not mean they made them feature.
I am actually winning against Blight more than any killers. Since i am seeing him more than anyone, i am kinda adapted.
And i am asking you to stop assuming about my skills. We did not play together or against each other. So you have no idea about my skills. If you keep do this, i will just stop argue with you. I did not want to say this but this really started to be annoying. Stop it, please.
"I have adapted" "I win against him a lot" so theres no issue then? you just want blight nerfed for the sake of it. Hes clearly not op if you are winning so much, and theres clear counterplay then as well.
-
eh, dislike this. potential energy is about sacrificing progress now for progress later. Gaining tokens passively in chase goes against that, and breaking a totem too.My suggestion:
- No longer has 8s wind up
- Tokens are lost on being downed instead
-
Without certain items and perks, gen rushing is a word bad killers use for losing.
The fact is that gen rushing isnt real without a crazy toolbox or something, gens just feel fast constantly because we dont have as much regression as we had before. one more good regression perk and the game is perfect imo.

I don't want any bug in game, unless devs change their mind and make it feature. For now any Blight who uses this techs are just abusing bugs.
But i was not expect from you to agree with me. Ofcourse you are defending this bugs as well. I did not surprise at all.
its a feature now. Do you not remember when they said it was a bug and wanted it gone, but then backtracked on that? If they arent removing it, and they are aware of its existence, then its a feature now.
but i wasnt really expecting you to know how to counter blight. or any killer.

so i break LOS, he uses 1 token to get to see me again and then has 3-4 more to work a hit. and if he has crow-rat he is getting faster with each rush which leaves you with less and less chances to miss a loop.
and then he hug techs and i need to make a 50/50 decision in 0.2sec of whether the fastest killer will slide right or left or i go down.
or maybe i can drop the pallet and hope he is not using C33 to destroy it inmediately and catch me before i get to another loop.
so keep breaking los, not a hard concept.

Nah, it's abuser issue. Abusing bugs.
We will see real skills when devs fix his bugs.
pft ok. Guess something being a bug automatically means it needs to get removed. Not at all that unintended mechanics could lead to good gameplay... no no, something needs to happen on purpose for it to be good. im assuming you think 360s should be removed then as well? and double blinds.

@Rovend said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3492063#Comment_3492063
and you get hit like what, 10 seconds later?
Unless you are in a map with TONS of pallets linked together you are going down anyway.
Or you could break los and force tokens. a rushing blight can be countered without using a pallet... just run behind something. if its lumpy then he just cant hit you, and if its smooth he hug techs and we go back to square one. or better yet, avoid this altogether and just drop the pallet when he starts hug teching.

Against Blight😑
Seriously?
hes talking about the use of hug tech to get hits on filler pallets. in that scenario, running away is a viable strategy.

I hate Blight, it does not matter if they are PC or console player. This killer should get his justice as soon as possible, there is no chance against him sadly.

So it's a skill to basically have high mouse sensitivity look down and then basically swing your mouse half way across the table? Okay fine maybe they don't have high mouse sensitivity but looking down and swinging a mouse across your desktop doesn't seem much as skill and more of a tech people do to get a better hit on someone.
if you are talking about hug tech, getting hit by thats a skill issue. Just run away.
-
flicking "tech"? Its not a tech... its just skill.

This is exactly the compromise I suggested after the "basekit Unbreakable" test last year.
When no survivors are standing (so all survivors are either hooked or slugged or dead) then all survivors gain the ability to recover from the dying state.
They still need to complete recovery, so it's not instant or even sped up at all. And as soon as one survivor picks themselves up the effect is disabled, so it only allows one single survivor to do this at any given time.
This allows for slugging in every scenario to work exactly the same, except for "slugging for the 4K" or slugging all survivors at once.
I recognize the purpose of this idea, however I feel without more limitations it would be a free second chance for losing.
-
except 3 genning isnt a problem its skull merchant
-
3 genning isnt an issue, SM is an issue.
-
definitely double nurse would be the strongest. Two very coordinated nurses could end every chase instantly if they stuck together.
-
glad to see it go. too much orange 😭

@skrrr said:
Broken ? That's big word, you still counter them
ah yes because mft has counterplay
-
So just play safe. The point of deliverance is that once you have it you can play risky with no consequences. Completely denying hook pressure. And you can save yourself from basement bc basekit BT. Throw on an OTR and SB and you have adrenaline off hook.
-
Its a latency issue combined with hitbox desync. While running, a survivors hitbox lags behind them a little bit instead of surrounding the majority of the model.
This is even more severe while injured, because the survivor is bending over making the hitbox appear to lag even more. Combine this with latency and we get a deadly cocktail of BS hits. They should really line the survivor hitbox up with the animations better, to avoid situations like this:
in this screenshot, the survivor hitbox is further behind steve than it appears. And huntresses chonky sideways hitbox extends about as far as the circle around it. Which leaves a tiny distance thats the fault of ping.
The hit would still look absurd, but at least it would technically be correct because of the hitbox desync. The same principle applies to killer m1. The hitbox extends basically just as far as the hit animation... but the survivor model is desynchronized with the hitbox. Throw in the injured animation basically making the hitbox a whole meter behind you+ping= visually unfair hit, even though technically it was correct. BHVR needs to synchronize the survivor model with the hitbox better.

No thanks, if they remove that they have to remove a bunch of perks that affect that and offerings, plus kobeing is fun and make for great plays if you can pull them off
fine with me. All luck related perks and offerings are only used by SWFs abusing them, and those great plays are pulled off by dumb luck not skill.

It'd perhaps be useful if you elaborated on why you think her core design is flawed.
From my perspective, her core design has the potential to be one of the most interesting we've had in a long while. I can't think of another killer whose kit is as versatile and modular as the Skull Merchant's, and it'd be a damn shame to just throw all of that out because of the 3-gen problem.
Its dumb anti loop 3 genning with no drawbacks to placing or removing them for SM, with the only counters being not looping or giving her MFT and 30s of wallhacks. Wide area based zoning is inherently bad game design because dbd is designed around staying in one area for extended periods of time.

@SkeletalElite said:
Pretty much all hte boons are very underwhelming and niche. Even the best one (shadowstep) is okay at best
There's 2 ways you can go about it I think. Make boons single use, but make their effects map wide. Theyre strong but once the killer snuffs them theyre gone for good.
Or give individual buffs to every boon perk + a small range increase to all of them.
Dark theory needs to be 5%. The effect needs to be powerful to warrant how hard it is to get value at the very least. The chase either needs to begin there or you need to survive long enough to lead it (AFTER placing it). its rng based, because if you dont have any window loops in range of the boon then it becomes useless when its pallets run out. At which point you need to go place it AGAIN.
And even through all that the killer can snuff it and you go do it all again ;-;
I think that some boons just need range increases or massive effect buffs. If CoH is gonna be 24m, make it 150 or 200% boost. Shadowstep should be 32-40m or something like that. i actually think exponential is fine.
-
We already overhauled the meta this year, back in march. it'd just be annoying to have another 3 months later, so they made a bunch of weak perks stronger. Which is what everyone keeps asking for instead lol.

@1ettuce said:
Your suggestions seem alright, could use some tweaking, but concepts seem good imo. Thing is though exhaustion perks in general are often built on the idea of giving big value for no skill or condition, which I don't like, but IMO means MFT shouldn't be "singled out" ig you could say. But I've had two ideas:
A. Removing the haste and exhaustion parts entirely, so the whole perk is just getting endurance when healing someone while healthy, which is still strong btw
B. Could completely rework the perk to give you SB after healing someone for a whole health state's worth uninterrupted (including the exhaustion), would be a kinda cool perk, and the uninterrupted is in there to prevent it from activating when you don't want it to or from activating it whenever you want with a 99d teammate
they did that for the buckle up rework, both people get 10s endurance with new buckle up on a res
-
Its inherently bad game design. Theres reason haste is so limited in dbd, because this is what happens when its not. I honestly want to see it reworked or get some crazy limitations. A time limit maybe or an actual activation condition and removing its synergy with DH.
MFT - After stunning the killer with a pallet, gain 3% haste for 20s. No longer tied to exhaustion. Thats idea 1.
MFT - Gain a permanent 3% speed boost while injured. Decreases by 1.5% per time you are hooked. No longer tied to exhaustion, however it applies exhaustion permanently.
-
Nice so now shes wraith but a setup killer and without the speed burst out of cloak.
