See, this would be cool provided you don't have to start your character from 0 again. I have a bunch of characters P350'd with tons of event items on (like, 91 winter fire crackers on my Claudie I believe, as well as like 36 4th year beams) and I'd love a legacy type skin on them, but there is no way in hell I'd get rid of my event things for it.

Oh yeah I don't think we should have to restart everything. I just meant that everyone who you already have prestiged would instantly get the new legacy, so you wouldn't get anything. Like if your trapper is p3, then it would get p3 new legacy. If your dwight is p1, then he would get p1 new legacy for only his shirt

The new animations are a lot better and feel more realistic, but people just aren’t used to it yet and sadly this game has a stubborn community, that hates everything new and complains so much, that it gets changed again. That’s one of the reasons why this game feels so outdated.

Preach. You couldn't have said it better

  • @Vetrathene said:

The new animations are so awful. They look inhuman.

its funny because most of the animations are more realistic than they were before. We are just so used to the old way that the new animations feel weird

That argument doesn't make much sense, original killers always came with maps in the past. The sole reason they didn't recently is because the devs are reworking the old maps still. As long as they're doing that, we're not gonna get new maps.

I understand that, but even with remodeling maps instead of new maps for upcoming original chapters, why would they skip over a licensed map, which introduces the realm from a licensed world?

  • So, my opinion on this is mixed. I do love learning lore about the realm, but were getting more stories about characters backstories while i would prefer to learn about the survivors and killers already inside the realm, and how the realm works. We found out that survivors dont remember a trial if they died. This is because if they remembered each trial, they would most likely lose hope and go to the void. Now, the void I thought was inaccessible to normal survivors, but literally Jake Park has went into the void and then left. (this can be seen in the poster where he has his hollowed blight outfit and is looting those zombie looking creatures. Those creatures are survivors who have lost all emotion and are empty.

What i want to know, is how the survivors and killers react with each other in the entities realm outside of trials. The observer also is able to read into memories in the air and form objects out of thin air. This is because the realm is made of the auric and he uses auric cells. Does this mean survivors and killers all access the auric cells to form their own clothes? Or do they just find all these cosmetics around the realm in different houses and buildings. We know the entity has consumed multiple universes, so it is safe to assume the entirety of earth is possible to go across. Plus, Jake Park has a 1930s outfit. Did he randomly wear this, or is this a Jake Park from a different timeline? There are so many questions going on unanswered, and I REALLY want them to give us more lore about the realm itself, rather than survivors and killers before they were inside the realm

  • Apparently we arent getting a new map with the new chapter, which makes me think it will be original. But idk

  • @Zarr0ch said:

Jason - Cool...but he would need a power to make him feel unique...we have the Trapper afterall

Alien - Just not sure how it would integrate with the game very well

    Candyman - Fine...just not exciting

Pennywise - You would have to "Lore" the F out of it as he would be to powerful for the entity to control.

Pinhead - Maybe, depending on power

Chucky - I could only see this working if the doll walked around the map, but his human form was ... spectral/ghostly above him the whole time to make him taller. The hook would have to lower (on a chain) to his height to do the hooking to

    Leprechaun - Similar to Chucky

    Pumpkinhead - Could be interesting

    Imhotep - Could be done

    Graboid - ...... ok wouldnt work....but lol

    Creeper - Shame...but for reasons I wont list...no

    Slime/Blob -

    Werewolf -

I disagree Pennywise would be too powerful for the entity to control, and heres why. Yes, pennywise is extremely powerful, but compared to the entity, hes a ######### ant. The entity consumes worlds and holds billions and possibly trillions of souls from millions of different universes, while Pennywise got defeated by a group of humans because they called him mean words. So I mean, he would easily succumb to the entity if the entity wanted him in.

I could be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that they want to pick survivors who would not be naturally inclined to fight back. I could be wrong but I could totally see someone like Marcus Fenix, Master Chief, etc would definetly not be in because of their fighting (and you know the many other obvious reasons they wouldn't of course). I kind of think they would pick someone a little less popular too since that's seemed to be mostly the case for licensed survivors so far outside of Laurie strode. All of the other licensed survivors in chapters are not the most popular survivors in their respective series (such as Nancy for Nightmare on Elm Street). I highly doubt Chris while Leon feels more likely out of the two for having more survival background while Chris is more guns blazing type guy. Pretty much anyone else could work. Ada would be interesting to me

I don't remember seeing that but I also won't say you're wrong. Plus, wouldn't Bill contradict that? He was by far the most popular survivor and is also quite the fighter. Same with ash who had even fought gods

  • @IWasLeft2Die said:

Id be somewhat surprised if resident evil never became a part of dbd. I love the series and it could easily fit into the game. Resident evil is one of the more likely series to allow characters in other games so thats cool.

With that said, I could see a lot of other options be preferred for dbd. Im getting re8 but I'd much rather have someone like mrx, nemesis, Birkin, various options from re4, or Wesker. Survivor i would honestly prefer not having someone like Leon or Chris or Jill since they would definetly fight the killer. Maybe someone like Rebecca chambers, Ethan Winters (although probably not him), or Sherry Birkin would be better candidates. They would likely want them all from the same game though.

So, I hate to be that guy but ill tell you the same argument I've told people who didn't want Sam and Dean form supernatural, or characters from the walking dead, etc. Because they would fight the killer. The entity buffs the absolute ######### out of the killers, where the survivors cant do much besides slapping them with a wooden pallet or blinding them, and that's about it. We already have survivors like David King, Bill Overbeck, and others that would most definitely fight the killers, and lose quite fast. It is the reason why a small teenager like Susie can pick up a grown man, because the entity made her extremely strong. So with Leon, Chris and the others you mentioned, they would face the same situation. They would probably attempt to fight the killers at first, and then quickly realize they cant do anything against them.

  • I wish somebody told me that perks were permanent. Yes, i was that stupid. I thought that the perks i found in the bloodweb would get lost if I used them, so for about a week or so, I didnt use any perks.

Jokes aside, I don't really watch anime, nor have I watched Attack On Titan. I feel like anime would be very hard to implement.

I agree. It would be hard, because they would have to satisfy the watchers of the show, but also respect the players of the game and make it fit the game. I was just suggesting what I think could work based off my own personal opinions

  • @Midori_21 said:

Sam and Dean have taken down things far bigger than the dbd killers. I don't want to see the winchesters get sacrificed by the trapper. Or any of the dbd killers honestly.

I know I know, I mentioned it before that the entity sortove buffs the killers and nerfs the survivors, so Sam and Dean would be helpless. I understand you don't want to see it happen to Sam and Dean, but they aren't in any other game at all so it would be honorable to see them in dbd in my opinion

  • @Szentenza said:

I would really like the supernatural dlc to be included in dead by daylight, I would be most happy with only surviving content. Its popularity is unquestionable, but I see the dead by daylight community isn’t interested in enough of it which may seem like they don’t want enough to get into the game. However, I think he could bring a lot of new players into the game mainly because the series is over, but somehow the behavior should be made more aware of this. Sorry for the bad english.

Don't apologize, I completely agree! Sam and Dean aren't in any other game, and it would definitely bring alot of players to dead by daylight

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1691941#Comment_1691941

Exactly. They couldn't do Ash justice, I doubt they'd do Sam and Dean justice.

You have to remember the entity OVERPOWERS the killers and gives the survivors Jack #########, so even with their skills they stand no chance. Don't get me wrong, outside the realm they would kick their ass

  • @Midori_21 said:

Considering who Sam and Dean are, and what they've done/who they've taken down, I really don't want to see them running from and losing to the dbd killers. They've taken on things far worse.

I feel you man, but the dbd lore would make it make sense. The entity gives power to killers, to where even Sam and Dean can't compete. Plus, there is literally no game where you can play as them and this is our only shot. I feel you though

  • @MadLordJack said:

With a show like Supernatural, it'd probably be better if they grabbed the characters from the earlier seasons and pretended that none of the later ones happened. That, or go full Ash and make fun of how convoluted their lives became. Either one wouldn't feel like justice for the hardcore fans, though.

I mean they could make older and younger looking cosmetucs? With different hairstyles

  • @Dabihwow said:

Oh my god I'm sorry but can you people not spam having these two in the game, I get it you want him in the game but its starting o get annoying

Dude it has a large fanbase. Just ignore the supernatural threads if you find it that annoying

  • Im thinking maybe one of the leviathons as a killer? I believe they would fit well. Or maybe even the alpha werewolf or vamp

  • I would just LOOOVE Sam and Dean in the game. I don't think it's a matter of if, but when they will be added

  • A supernatural chapter/paragraph with Sam and Dean as the survivors. It's literally all I've wanted to come to dbd ever since I started playing lmao

  • Do you have cross-play turned on or off? Because if it is off that may be limiting who you play with

  • I would have to say Kindred, Self-care, Botany Knowledge, and Aftercare is the best SoloQ build, in my opinion. The reason I say Botany Knowledge, is because it makes self-care MUCH faster.

Need a source on it tbh.

Regarding Candyman he's my bias but I don't see him being the most sought after from the community. Legit never seen Sam and Dean mentioned outside of this forum and I browse a lot of places so that's why I'm more so surprised so I'd like to see some source to that.

Literally anywhere that dbd has a presence, there are people asking for supernatural in dbd. Reddit, Discord, these forums, and even Twitter. Although you may not personally like Sam and Dean, there are a ton of dbd fans that do

I don’t think it’s a case of people becoming weaker when they are taken by the entity, they just realise that fighting back doesn’t do anything. As the killers can’t be killed and they’re doomed to keep repeating trials. After all, death is not an escape lol. So I don’t think somebody like Castiel would need to have his powers removed, as I like to think he would initially try to fight back but when he realises it does nothing, he simply tries to escape the killers instead. That’s why Buffy would also work as a survivor. There’s no point fighting something you can’t kill. It’s just a waste of energy.

Yeah but don't we have to have a reason as to why Susie digging a knife through castiels chest would kill him?

  • Oops my mistake, thank you for pointing that out

  • The game is pretty diverse, I'll just make a list right now

    Claudette - African Canadian

    Jake - Mixed/Korean American

    Nea - Caucasian Swedish

Ace Visconti - Older Italian / Argentinian

Bill Overbeck - Much older Vietnam vet, Caucasian and American

    Feng Min - Chinese

    David King - Caucasian British

    David Tapp - African American

    Adam Francis - Jamaican

    Jeff Johannson - Caucasian Canadian

    Jane Romero - Latin American

    Yui Kimura - Japanese

    Zarina Kassir - Lebanese American

    The Wraith - African

    The Hillbilly - Deformed American

    The nurse - Anglo American

    The Hag - African

    The Doctor - African American

    The Huntress - Russian

    The Spirit - Japanese

The Legion (Joey) - African American

    The Plague - Babylonian

    The demogorgan - demogorgan

    Oni - Japanese

Am I open to more diversity? Of course, I'm just saying that the people who think this game has no representation is wrong

  • So, this will probably come up, so I'm just gonna mention it now to get it over with. So castiel is an angel, and some people may be confused as to how a person like Susie could hurt him, and/or kill him. With this we have to look at the entity and castiel. Yes he is powerful, but he's nowhere NEAR close to as powerful as the entity. In the show, it only took an arch-angel, or a half human half demon kid to render him absolutely useless. So the entity, with how powerful it is, could easily nerf the crap out of castiel, and make him as powerful as any other survivor in the realm. Honestly i could see them explaining it, as the entity basically turning castiels Grace into a human soul or something, so he's basically just a human like he has been in the past. I would certainly but castiel as a legendary skin, and any other legendary skins they would dish out as well.

  • @cacao1 said:

But who would be killer and survivor?

Dean or/and Sam as survivor? This would be the obivios choise.

Or Demon-Dean or Lucifer-Sam as Killer? This could work. It could even work when Sam and Dean had both roles killer AND survivor.

Or Rampage-Castiel or Lucifer as Killer? Would be the first time a killer could use "holy" powers to purge the people trapped inside the rift.

Or shapeshifting Leviathans as killer (which would totaly never work against SWF)?

It must be someone special as killer, BECAUSE the show had already every kind of killer in the show, so if they pick someone who was only in one episode it would feal weird.

I would say the leviathons have the biggest chance. Mainly because they were the main villains for a whole season, and i can just see it working. Although I did mention it before, the devs could do a half licensed chapter, where the survivors are Sam and Dean, and then the devs create their own version of a werewolf, vampire, etc. That would fit with the supernatural chapter

  • Ok so disagree with me if you may, but i play both sides, and I don't really think there should be too many changes done to gens. Mainly because there a bunch of perks that are used to counter genrushing, such as Pop Goes, Ruin, and other perks as well. I know there is gen rushing. I've been gen rushed before, and utterly destroyed in some matches. But that happens, and I can't expect to 4k every single match.

I don't think there should be changes to gens, it may be possible the killer you're playing is not for you, and you excel in other types of play-styles. Maybe try maiming different killers, cause we have alot more than ever before now

  • I've seen many perk ideas for a supernatural chapter, however yours definitely are the most balanced. I especially love skedaddle, because it's basically an anti-tunneling perk. I would most likely be using that perk in my new main build

The only thing I'm confused about is off the grid? What exactly happens after you're unhooked?

I did think about the bunker but I’m just not sure how it’d work as a map as I don’t think it would be big enough. A graveyard is just very Supernatural and they could do some really cool things with it.

    I also found this online:

What if we get Billy/David, so we get both of the characters?

No problem! A lot of us definitely have our hopes up and it’s been brought up a lot, so I agree that it’s at least a possibility.

As for the killer, I figure they could take something from the early seasons. The most memorable that comes to mind is the wendigo, which is the first monster they faced I think. You’re right in saying that none of them are exactly iconic, as there’s been so many.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t mind if they just went ahead and made it a paragraph. It would be cool to be a full chapter but not necessary. The survivors would be the main attraction. Just like Ash & Bill.

What if they make the killer the leviathon? I feel like they would be the best for a killer, but that's just my opinion.

There's also another idea I had thats kindove dumb, where the devs make a half licensed half original chapter, where Sam and Dean are the survivors, and then the devs make their own version of a monster (like a werewolf, vampire, etc) and we could also get the bunker as the map 👀

  • Supernatural paragraph (Sam and Dean) as survivors for sure. If it could be a chapter, id love that too

Chandler plays DBD? Bruh this is even more reason for Carl to come to DBD as a survivor. That would be epic 😂

Yeah 😂 just look up Chandler Riggs dbd, and he tweeted about it before like 2 years ago?

  • I would absolutely love it. I have been thinking of them doing this for a long time, and it definitely fits. They would have to do Rick and/or Daryl as the main survivor(s) , and they should also have people such as Glenn, Carl, Michonne, Maggie, and even Negan as legendary skins. I am sure chandler would voice carl because he even plays dbd as well

I feel like Cas has became just as important to the show as Sam and Dean. So I could definitely see him being a legendary skin. I just don’t think he’d work as a separate character. I could see them doing something similar to Ash and just releasing them as survivors, although I would love a map. They could do a graveyard and have the impala outside of it as an Easter egg. 😭

I like the idea of a graveyard, but what about the men of letters bunker??

(Also Rowena as a legendary skin PLEASE)

Sam and Dean hunt and kill demons. I doubt they'd be afraid from what the game has to offer.

But Cheryl Mason killed a god and she somehow runs from an obese man throwing gas bombs so what do you know.

Remember, the entity buffs the ######### out of killers. You really think Susie could pick up David or Jeff normally? No, but the entity makes killers much stronger. So I'm sure people like Ash, David, and possibly Sam and Dean would fight back at first, but then would realize they have no power against these killers
