  • This doesn't address the survivor problem of farming, not equipping the right perks or blindly running in which has made camping so profitable. That is where the focus should be.

  • When playing as LF slugging helped a lot, using BBQ and knock worked best. Forcing players to stop doing gens to try and find fallen team mates while BBQ worked like deer stalker to know where to look when i hooked someone.

  • I'd like to see a power that mess' with the audio. Jason can manipulate the terror radius making people think he's nearby when he isn't maybe give him a teleport option if survivors don't leave the area after the fake terror radius has been played.

  • I've had all 3 other survivors repairing the same generator while i'm left hanging on the hook, i literally had a second left of life when all 3 ran to hook to farm me for the points. Then they chased me down to try get the healing points luckily i had self care so they didn't get any.

  • Do you actually depip, i thought if just showed a depip but doesn't register it.

  • Have you check if it's on a second page?

  • Sounds kind of petty to me, maybe move on with your life

  • Yes lets push people out of the community by being a dick to them about an actual serious problem. We really need those longer match making times by shrinking the community.

I only farmed with them as I felt sorry for them, I know I shouldn't as its still 3vs1 but hate scummy people who DC. When I play survivor if I am downed I never DC also if the lag is bad I just put up with it

I love a good farm but i won't reward survivors because 1 person is scummy. If a connection gets dropped for a real reason i'll farm because then they are being screwed by legit reasons. But survivors screwing other survivors shouldn't be rewarded since they've dug themselves into that hole.

  • I've got 10 other killers to get to p3 i'm not really in a waiting mood

  • I could find them just as fast on my own without wasting time to get them to tier 3

  • All the time i come across survivors who think they're the best and then DC when i down them for the first time. I don't farm in those situations because it's still a team game and their team decided to act all tough and quit. I had a situation where 2 people DC as soon as the map loaded in so i let them farm then.

  • There is no incentive to leave the hook as long as survivors play like potatoes

  • Here's the solution stop rushing to the hooks to watch the person die and stop dc'ing and suicideing on the hooks. JUST STOP ALLOWING KILLERS TO GET AWAY WITH CAMPING SO EASILY.

It's not that hard to understanding that if a killer is camping to gen rush and leave the killer with 1 kill. If you're on the hook tough it out and take one forthe team.

  • My average is 3k i like to leave it to chance who finds the hatch first

Oh wait, you think I'm that stupid that I don't know a new game is hard? So it doesn't favour the killer that the maps have all been made so much lighter? Come on man and the fact that you all turn around and say stop crying just goes to show the type of person you're dealing with

Even if the lighting changes does make it easier for the killer no one asked for it and if you did a little bit of research before hand instead of accusing people who play killer of demanding it this would be a different conversation. Are killers stronger yes, are they op no and are survivors playing badly and are survivors playing badly lately yes.

  • @Mashley95 ever new player has to go through this, every time i play a new survivor i have to go through this since i'll have 1 default perk and the killer will have 4 decent perks. Also you're not helping yourself out with "Killers get everything and are OP" and "the killers obviously cried and the developers jumped" that just makes you sound like a cry baby. If you're just starting out then yes why are you surprised it's hard? You get better by playing and learning and levelling up and developing better teamwork, not crying about it on the forums.

  • You could always take a break and let rank reset do it's thing

  • The lighting changes were caused by the changing of the games engine and has nothing to do with survivors. Also a killers add ons will disappear after every game with no way to save them or any way to pick up new ones from a chest in the map so what you crying about. Finally killers are meant to be stronger then a single survivor that's why you're on a team of 4 people and i have no problems stealthing my way through a map. This sounds like a classic example of people being bad at the game and then crying about it rather then trying to get better.

  • I do love reading survivors write "i keep running around this same thing over and over again and i keep getting downed by a nurse over and over again. I guess i better keep running round this same thing i'm sure it will work out eventually"

Stealth is the best counter play to any killer, but because survivors want to mindlessly loop everything they'll dismiss it as unfun. There's nothing more fun the repairing a generator under the killers nose, or watching a ghostface frantically. search the area for you before their marked for death wears out, or watching a myers running dying light walk right past my obsession ass.

Looping can't be directly countered if the survivor is optimal, end of story. Also stealth killers get looped like any other, which is why the most viable killers are the loudest ones.

My point was a stealth killer should be using stealth not chasing a single person around the map. The nurse is great at making looping pointless and all the survivors want to cry about it because they don't want to learn to play differently. Learn which loops to ignore and make survivors waste pallets. they're either going to drop it on you because they can't resist or get hit trying to save it.

Wow yeah I was SO outskilled by that guy who ran circles and held m1. What an amazing display of skill. But I think I'm done arguing with you simply because of the whole survivor biased argument of "lulmeu just patrol gens".

I'm a switch so i play both sides, if someone is going to play a stealth killer but spend 4 generators chasing me around am i the unskilled one or are they? I've had to learn to counter looping just like any other killer main who's decent at the game.

Do you tell that to anyone who suggests any change to this survivor biased game? If that's the case, this game would die if everyone listened to you. You pretend like the issues I stated aren't making the game unbearable for killers.

You're not making a suggestion you're spitting your dummy out. Learn to counter looping, learn to patrol gens, instead of saying you're going to to just quit a game because someone is better then you.

  • @MemberBerry said:

I personally am gonna start ragequitting more and more when I get 4-5 minute games. I refuse to give survivors a victory for doing hardly anything but holding m1 and running in circles.

    Then you'll get banned.

    Agreed.

But a killer just standing there watching a rescue about to occur without ANY attempt at genuine intervention for the sole purpose of immediately hitting and re-hooking the rescued survivor, TWICE, is just #########.

You can't blame the killer if another survivor is going to serve the killer a kill on a sliver platter.

  • You don't see it used that way a lot

  • Which can mean good game or get good

Damn. I though the whole community was exaggerating.

I wish, i've turned off messages on ps4 because of it

  • @AngelKings said:

Its still suprised me to see everyone gang up on me. Is Dead by daylight really this toxic?

Unfortunately yes it is this toxic

  • I would still report you for the DC, but i also would of focused on the bad survivor as well so we'd never be in that exact situation. In a ideal world yes killers should punish bad survivors but you got to ask yourself why would the killer punish someone for making the game easier for them?

  • @thesuicidefox

You are technically in a team even if you don't like it. The whole idea is if the survivors can't or won't work together then everybody is screwed. If all your team mates die then they have failed the most important objective which is to work together. 1 v 1 killers will win because they are stronger but survivors are suppose to use their numbers to work to out play the killer. Yes the hatch is their for the last guy but it's a random chance you get it. Opening the gates is less random and favours the killer since the rule is first to the hatch wins. A bad chance is still a chance worth taking.

  • How about we make it so that generator repair speed stops altogether or slows down when the survivors camp the gens.

And if you can't kill anyone during the game, why should you be rewarded for being bad at the game. Because you can close the hatch and if doors spawn together you could kill us anyway.

Killers can only close the hatch when there is 1 person left, so if i was a bad killer and still closed the hatch that would mean 3 people escaped through the doors and so could the last person. What are you trying to argue? Killers don't get a second chance to complain about, while survivors get a second & third chance despite not being able to repair 5 generators and apparently that still isn't good enough. Would you rather they went back to hatch stand offs?

  • @Benzinjiq

Wow did you really just play the censorship card, but what else do i expect from a person who attacks other people online from not wanting to deal with harassment. I'm not entitled and just sick of dealing with other peoples BS on a daily basis because they think the world revolves around them. If you can't deal with the fact that devs might prevent you from using racial slurs or telling people to kill themselves in the post game chat, then which one of us is the snowflake.

  • Survivors need to stop running into the killers arms as soon as someone goes on a hook.

  • This could be the exact same thing with the exact same title but with it being a survivor being toxic in the end game chat.

  • I don't know how many times i need to repeat this "first to the hatch wins". Why should you be rewarded for being bad at the game.

  • Survivor play has been awful lately and makes camping profitable since they'll blindly run in.

Your first "logic" is super flawed and if you dont understand why I dont even know what to tell you.

Running around the map looking for totems is gonna make you lose the game.

Small game doesn't even show you where totems are ffs,its gonna make you waste more time in the end.

A game balanced around the chase mechanic ,and you are surprised that people get chased when the killer can hear the survs breathing making stealth not a good option .

Besides why would you ever hide when the gates are powered? Thats super bad play.

Truth be told i know my first point isn't valid i'm just making people aware that complaining that a player using anything is trash would make them trash since they to can use anything.

Looking for totems could make you lose the game but the truth is so can allowing the killer to get NOED is going to cause you the game. Also Small game is better then nothing.

Stealth should always be your first option while pallets and looping being the back up plan. Stealth works out 99% of the time for me, nothing funnier then watching a ghostface frantically searching the area for you before his marked for death runs out.

  • @Aikanaro said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/600148#Comment_600148

So survivors never lose items and addons, fine.

Sure, looking for totems is so ¨safe¨ specially when you must be like 15 seconds in dangerous areas with killers running around, I thought totems were in places nobody could care, but you are right they are very far away from gens...

They can lose there items and add on's but unlike a killer it's not a guarantee. There has been plenty times i've escape with my item at 99% usage.

Also nothing is safe, cleansing totems isn't safe, repairing generators isn't safe and neither is opening the exit games. What's more dangerous cleansing a totem when a killer might injure you or opening a gate where a killer might down you?

  • I don't get how all survivors can complain that any killer who use NOED is trash but then complain they got downed by a trash killer. If a survivor get's downed by a trash killer doesn't that make them a trash survivor?

NOED is for when time is not on the killer sides, killers lose add on's after every match while survivors can save their purple toolbox to be reused over and over again.

Why do so many killers use NOED because despite how much survivors complain about NOED they'll never equip small game and take out totems. Yes looking for totems takes time but then you don't have to worry about NOED.

Lastly the best way to not get killed by the killer is not to be found by the killer. If you want to tea bag and loop every killer that's your choice but you can't complain about being downed by a killer when survivors now dare killers to chase them.

  • OMG can survivors stop complaining about this, first to the hatch wins. So what if it's hard to open the gates afterwards, it's still a chance

  • Wouldn't that be something sony has to implement.

  • the level is called grim pantry is because it was used to store human flesh for cannibals. Saying that the level has no connection to a killer called the Cannibal would be a little bit strange.

  • No maps are added as DLC otherwise it would split the player based between those with/with out dlc. It's the exact same thing they did with the plague.

  • This stinks of typical survivor entitlement, post title 'stop nerfing survivors", list things that aren't nerfs and does it around the time the devs announce they're making changes to the nurse

  • The hag only game out with the pale rose, the grim pantry came out with the LF dlc

  • @Gorgonia said:

LF has no map, Grim Pantry is part of the Swamp realm, hence the hag's.

And yeah, new variations of existing maps would be okay. Like a rework of Haddonfield, to avoid the massive killer DCs when they see this map.

That's like saying the plague has no realm because the red forest belongs to the huntress

  • I don't think there's an escape bonus for killer DC but you're suppose to keep your points

  • @Entità coldwind is the realm of the hillbilly, grim pantry cane with LF
