I also hate when the killer downs someone and then rushes to the gates I open and pushes everybody out before hooking the person. I was so close so many times to finish this challenge, it's getting on my nerves already. 😒

Yeah, I used Kindred in all my games but I usually not the one who saves, I do gens and see if somebody rescues, because if I go to the rescue, everybody will be there and nobody will repair gens, so BT is optional for me.

I don't like challenges like that when you have to put your faith in your teammates. I'd rather repair 20 gens. Well, I did it anyway while trying to get this stupid challenge done.

Don't know about camping or tunneling, but I had three games in a row (as solo) against killers who for some reason were nodding and hitting me on the hook (I was the last survivor). Like I don't play well, I'm alone, I wasn't looking for hatch, I don't bring flashlight or key, I don't loop for days, and I don't get this treatment. I know how awful it is when somebody annoys you, so I don't do it at all, even when people were toxic against me. I wonder what is going on inside their heads at moments like this😅🤨

Dead by Daylight (BHVR) is NOT a indy company anymore. They grossed well over $113 million last year (COULD BE DIFFERENT NOW.) However they went ahead anyway to cover costs in other areas. It hard to see what is going on behind your back obviously, and when you turn after a slam to hit survivor, they are long gone. Especially when it is an indoor map. Only when they run in a straight line it is possible to hit them if they don't zigzag as OP said. It will take devs too long to fix his cam as they said, because animators are busy right now which sucks.
I was "lucky" with my first games with him - I got corn map and then the Saw map 😅Had to farm in order to get those two challenges done.

That's why when the new survey comes out I always say that I didn't and won't recommend DBD to anyone I know. Even those I know stopped playing, they played just for fun in SWF with me (we were noobs then). And now I am forever alone solo Q player 😅

- Free path of the rift is bad (except for Legion skin)
- Pustula petals are not worth it considering the price and the outcome
- Killer add-on sucks
- I don't use flashlight so the new add-on for me is useless.
- No double bloodpoints yet
- There is too much grind as always

The bug happened. It is acknowledged and I hope with the next patch we will get a fix at least for some of the bugs.

Yes, the folder CharPortraits is gone with this update but you still can create it again where it was located previously and copy your custom portraits there. If you have done it before, I assume you are aware that you do it at your own risk, just to be sure.

While I appreciate the gesture (if I'm nearby to get a hit) frankly hits really aren't worth much. If I get 10 hits at the gates that's still 2,000 fewer points than a survivor gets for escaping. More profitable just to move on!
Exactly. Not worth it. Besides they will t-bag in your face and more often than not they won't even let you hit them. And no, it's not like they were sucked by the entity and accidentally leave, they don't give you hits on purpose, escaping the moment you appear in the exit gates. So you just wasted your time for nothing.

I don't like when people use Self-care and they are healing when there is Sloppy Butcher active. When I'm standing next to them with Botany but they continue to heal themselves!
However, perks are not that matters the most for me. What I hate is when my teammates (I play solo) bully the killer (especially when the killer didn't play well or was low rank), when they t-bag or click flashlights, usually at the exit gates. I feel embarrassed and sorry for the killer, maybe I'm too empathetic.

One skin if we talk about those you can buy with shards. With serum you could buy those that go with AC, moreover, you could buy two of them!
It's good, don't get me wrong, but they could give more shards than that.

I've tried it just for fun because I know that it's night (early morning) in the US now and I got it first try on PC! 😅I mean, I wasn't that fast and I was watching Geef (he was in my recommended on twitch), and despite him having 500+ viewers, I still got it no problem, really surprised. But if I didn't I wouldn't try again. This mechanic is still stupid.

Do you maybe not see how toxic that looks from the killer's perspective? That you hold such little regard for them you will pop not 1 but 2 generators in front of them.
It's not the toxic thing that worries me but rather that it's not that simple to implement. Sometimes gens fly too fast, and you are the one chased or killed, or not in the killer's terror radius.

Another example is ironically the Graphics update. Its nothing anyone anywhere asked for. What was asked for was optimization, bug fixing and an improvement of the matchmaking system. BHVR's priorities are totally out of whack.
Omg, yes! I couldn't care less about those graphics, give me a game that doesn't let my pc go into space or burn itself.

I don't get it why they update graphics when there is no optimization? It's not the game where the graphics matter the most. Quite the opposite, I liked it that way, the graphics wasn't demanding, no fps drops, no high temps. And the McMillan map was the coolest one, it was original. It is in the tutorial, it's like an icon of this game. The light, the colors... Now every reworked map is CTRL+C, CTRL+V. They are not that unique, they are way too dark. And the grass... don't even want to start. I'm disappointed.

Thats true. I am truely missing some graphics options here. I cant choose if i wanna use AA, which resolution I wanna run, what gamma settings I wanna use, wether Vsync is on or off or which framerate I desire. Ontop of that they should stop having high mid and low settings and split stuffs like shadows and textures, as one can easily be run, whereas shadows are alot more demanding
This game overheats my pc more than every other (even heavy) game does. I don't know why they cannot optimize it well. For so many years. And now they add graphical updates to their non-optimized game. The latest nvidia driver is also making the situation worse.
This game is way hotter in just the menu than in the game itself, it is unbelievable.

Youre not screwed unless you have a console, which is NOT upgradeable.
Computers get better and faster over time and Im happy to upgrade my gpu soon and lower my resolution until then. The devs should support the best experience for everyone. Ontop of that this game is 18+, which indicates that the audience has jobs and can upgrade their PC's easily, unlike games for children like minecraft etc. So Im happy they take care of their target audience and give the game a fresh coat of paint.
Mayby BHVR should learn what optimization means? Because even people with better PC have problems after updates. But there are no problems with games that are more demanding than dbd.
People on PS4 also have problems, what should they do? Buy PS5? LOL

I disagree. There were times when EAC crashed my game wanting me to verify the files (not to update the game as it usually is, just files). It's not a ban, yes, but what concerns me is that now we don't just replace the files that are already there, but add a new folder which doesn't "exist" anymore. And the question is how EAC will behave in this case?
