Borrowed time is critical against camping killers. It does not need a cooldown. This perk along with DC exsist to deal with killers using very frustrating strategy's that take advantage of this imbalance of this game.
You shouldn't be dcing against anything unless it be hacks.
-
Borrow time is activated in killer's terror radius. Don't be camping out and beside they have a minimum amount of endurance to be hit. Survivors do tend to be cocky with certain perks.

Do only killer perks have cooldowns?
So Quick and Quiet, Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, Saboteur, Balanced Landing, Lithe, Alert, Dead Hard, Stake Out (by technicality), Dance With Me, Diversion (by technicality), Head On, Any Means Necessary, Red Herring, For the People (by technicality), Repressed Alliance (by technicality), Visionary, and Deception don't ring a bell? None of these perks have cooldowns?
News to me.
Edit: I forgot the universal perks like Small Game and Premonition.
Adrenaline is only activated at end game.
-
Haddonfield will always be the map for annoyance.
-
People complained about everything in games. If I see Noed don't expect me to come get you. If you run into me don't expect an escape. Myers with tier 3 is a nope for me. Go to the next lobby and better next time.

Here's a fair counter: not going for the unhooked person. :)
Oh, and have you ever heard of slugging? Yeah, that too.
You ever gone up against Soul guard, unbreakable and Ds combo? Annoying to deal with.

Have you played during the insta blind days?

True, but dogs can understand where I point.
I'm pretty sure that's one of my super powers.
Actually dogs need to be trained to know where you point.

I can confidently say that I think Red Heads Pinky Finger should be changed.
I don’t think it should expose anymore. What I’d like to see is that it causes Oblivious, and a survivor remains Oblivious until either injured or downed (whatever comes first). It would make for a great change up of “run n gun”. Get a few survivors oblivious, then catch them out shortly afterward when they least expect it. Remove the direct hit requirement for this add on too.
That actually goes with his lore in a way. He like his prey to be unawares.

The biggest things I want for Clown is a passive reload to his bottles, and something to give him a bit of map pressure. Maybe drink one of his bottles to let him zoom around the map for a short amount of time. Then again, I'm not a Clown main. I'm sure @TheClownIsKing can put some ideas forth. Also, remove the noise he makes when vaulting. Why does he have that? No other killer has that.
He has trouble running leave him alone. You would be exhausted too if you run after people.
-
Charge up and let them get in the center of your screen. Survivors tend to sway alot or do a bunch of circle to avoid hatchets.
-
If I see my teammates tryna to troll the killer I just leave them. I ain't tryna to get hit by Noed or camp cause of them.
-
You aren't forced to run the perk. I have the perk on every survivors and tbh I don't run it.
-
Seriously blood warden op lol. I leave as soon as the gates are open.

Same with Thanatophobia - it also affects totem-cleansing speeds. Haven't tried it yet, but have wanted to try Thrill of the Hunt + Thana + Undying + Ruin ... -50% totem cleansing speed when all 4 are injured and 5 totems active. Might be more of a meme build, but... anyways. Not to change the subject.
I ran this build on doc and work alright. It might work alot better on plague or legion more.
-
Doc irritate survivors due to him getting rid of stealth. Most survivors don't bother with locker this get hit by the blast etc. Madness 3 lockdown on actions like loops, healing and repairing etc . Doc can even disrupt unhooking.
-
Killers are relying on Rng with this build types tho. Hexes are bound to be found by perks or have the worst spawn.
-
I swear that perk combine with dance with me make it sneakier.
-
I like to run it on doc with huntress lullaby, ruin plus unnerving. I even go as far with the game map too. Overall the perk does it job but the cool down should be shorter.
-
See you next dlc
-
How did every one of y'all go down at the same time? He ain't no leatherface or oni.
-
I can't down vote you due to no option. Both sides whined to the devs and complained about the game. Otz has strategic way of thinking for killers especially when he trapper. That why he win especially when survivors messed up themselves.
-
Power struggle is a meme perk just like breakout and flip flop. I doubt it gonna change up the meta. Even that why would a killer take forever to get to the hook.
-
New bugs and frame rates dropped

@Mikeasaurus said:
Not really. If a killer acts like a POS and just tunnels for no reason, or camps a hook, strategy or not, what do you think will happen when everyone gets to a gate? They're going to shake hands and leave? I personally won't T-Bag at a gate. Once it's open, and everyones pretty much safe, I'm gone. But act like a dick the entire match and I'll make you wait those entire 4 minutes. You ruin my experience, I'll return the favor.
So if a survivor is around your hook should the killer not camp you then? Everytime I see chicken scratches I camp cause some survivors make it way too easy to camp. Any other reason is literally a loss for gen pressure.
-
@eff said:
No, they are worse. Camping and tunneling is at least a strategy that gets the player somewhere. Tbagging isn't.
Camping and tunneling get you a loss if survivors don't be a hero. T bagging is used as a way to riled up a person to get the aggro off another. If someone tbagging you chances are someone is on death hook or close to that state.
-
I'm a mediocre nurse who only play her for daily. She the one killer that survivors don't like especially if it a damn good nurse. Nurse as of now require more patience to use and her design was executed good. Remind me of movie killers due to them going after the survivors. The only problem was the whole add ons she has. Omega nurse got gutted and so did the rest of her in exchange for a charge meter.

I don't see how kicking a demonic spawn child from a womans chest cavity is remotely offensive to anyone. If anyone is actually offended by this, then maybe the internet is not for them? There are just far too many snowflakes in the world these days that find anything offensive.
Remind me of the time someone was upset due to bubba's claudette cosmetic.
-
Give him this outfit of apu or the jockey cosmetic.
-
Myers's lunge in tier 3 is gonna be alot bigger now with this perk combine with fire up,brutal and bamboozle.
-
@BigTimeGamer said:
its fine as it is, but if a change is needed: Killers can "kick" door switch for progress and i guess make pop work with it
Killer going to need to hooked someone for the gate switch then. It should slowly regressed just like mending goes down.
-
You can use a map with the add on that show the totems. Small game and detective hunch can also be used to avoid these pesky perks.

I fail to see what a killer's choice of perks and rank has to do with their crappy behavior. But you aren't wrong, both sides could be toxic. But the thing about survivors particularly is that there's four of them and one of you. When one decides to call your racial slurs, the others will either join in or don't do anything about it. Hell, they're even terrible to each other. I can't even count how many times I had to intervene because the other three survivors ganged up on one of my opponents. I've been harassed by other survivors and so has my friends. On top of that you have the little rulebook, killers can't use certain perks, can't use certain characters, certain add ons, or they will be shamed or bullied. I see this crappy behavior in the forums.
I ask myself every match, "Am I gonna play the way they want to because I'm being chivalrous or do I fear getting harassed?" I hardly ever have to ask myself that when versing a killer.
If you're toxic don't expect the killer not to be toxic in return. That the way I see it. Use whatever perks you want but don't get a ego cause of them. I seen the Ds and soul guard build mixed with unbreakable. I seen Noed mixed with a mori and a instant down killer. Anything goes but no hacks.
-
@StibbityStabbity said:
I think the idea is that the person intentionally puts themselves into second hook stage just to spite their team mate for trying to get them off the hook. In a way, it's toxic, because that team mate just braved getting to the person on the hook, dropping a gen or whatever else to try and help them get some extra play time out of the match, just for the hooked person to say "Nah dude, screw your attempt, I'm going to set myself for dead-on-hook".
Imagine going out of your way to get a kid strawberry ice cream at a party because they REALLY wanted some, and you run all over looking for it. You find, bring it back, and the kid throws it on the ground. You'd be a bit upset. That's what other players are feeling right now.
Apparently this came from some kind of meme or something, I dunno, but I can understand the frustration of it. I wouldn't personally dwell too much on it, but I can certainly understand the cause for upset.
We just wanna try reaching ourself from the killer.
-
If you body block better hope it by obstacles.
-
No mither is my personal favorite when combo with breakout, mettle of man and borrow time. I tend to risk myself with my own body just for my team so this build suit me.
-
@DaKnight said:
No mither is crap. Are you really trying to say it's anything other than a meme perk?
Given the current meta, soulguard gives the benefit of no mither without having to be a 1 shot all game. I was actually trying to slug for the 4k earlier and realized the guy I was slugging had soul guard and I had to hook him and play the hatch game because it was going to be impossible.
Thantaphobia is trash on anyone who isn't legion or plague. The majority of other killers punish you not healing by downing you easily. Maybe you could argue it for Bubba or Billy but they have much better perks to run.
Wiggling is also useless 99% of the time unless you are in a SWF who are going to bodyblock for you. It's only there to keep yourself from getting put into the basement.
Soul guard only activate at the risk of other coming to that person rescue for a heal. It only activate if a hex Is up for a full pickup or with unbreakable. No mither is pretty much hard mode for survivors. If a survivor is running it you are technically forced to get rid of them just like OoO.

If it isn't that good in your opinion, why is it run so often? Often enough it gets numerous complaint posts.
I'm sure you're still an amazing killer without these perks, so why don't more Killers do what you do?
People gotta relies on something. Whether it be a survivor or a killer. I slug alot as Doctor and keep a lockdown on 3 gens. I do get losses against teams still.
-
I'm at red for killer and I never run this build. The build way too Rng for it to be good. 2 hexes that can be gone quickly.

He surely must play freddy, forever freddy to be precise, most broken and OP killer build. Against 4 ooo squad.
Forever freddy was nerfed so now it bearable.

@DaKnight said:
I mean, it's pretty risky to run object these days. When I see an object user and I am pyramid head I rub my hands in anticipation of an easy cage farm. It used to be really annoying before undetectable but I think it's fine for the most part now. Incredibly risky for solo Qs to use, and if you make the mistake of chasing the object user around in a SWF that's your own fault.
Freddy can still deal with any object user by trapping them with snares. If he knows he is going into an object match he can use black box + blindness blocks to dish out some real pain and make them regret equipping it.
Had someone dc due to me being able to see them cause of oOo.

Is there a way to track your progress?
Unfortunately not you would have to keep track yourself. 25 kills on each four original survivors.

He just doesn't feel fun anymore. He seems clunky AF with his bugged animations and that stupid roar. He used to be one of the killers I was always guaranteed to see everyday when playing survivors, now I rejoice if I see him once a week.
They got the roar from oni. I know they I did. The roar shouldn't have never been implemented into him.
-
Doesn't matter what you play dbd on. You will get tunneled by a killer just because they want you gone.
-
Old freddy had to put asleep first then hit you. Survivors tend to abused this fact and crowd around the sleep survivor. I do enjoy the fact you had no collision with awake survivors.

I’ve heard that a grandma outfit for LF was in the works, that would be great to have, since Myers is the only other classic license to have an outfit. (And it’s just the hospital gown or some weapons)
The grandma outfit is actually coming not sure when.

Shadow dance add on combine with brutal and fire up is fun to meme. You can add the iron maiden for faster opening of lockers.

Anyway... dont worry to much about it... they spent more time sending you those kind of messages then you should care about what they said
Seriously they said for you to get covid. Everyday I lose faith in humanity.
