Most maps are roughly designed with either a hexagon, or H-split of gens. 'EVERY' TV option isn't an option for Survivors because they can't teleport. They have to run from one TV spawn to another. That means they are likely to stay on the same H side on those maps, or the left/right adjacent hexagon gen. If they are running to the mid gen, you could see and intercept them before they reach it. That brings us back to the left/right concept.

Now is it left/right 100% accurate? No, and why should it be? All it needs to be, is better odds than a coinflip. If it were 100%, there would be no counterplay and OP as a result.

Does it nullify her power? Arguably it empowers it. If you have 1-4 Survs getting .75 condemn stack, that averages out to 2.5 Survs getting 1.875 stacks. Compare that to hitting the tape Survivor for 2 stacks concentrated on a single person. Now to be fair you could view this as always getting 3 stacks with 4 Survivors, however utilization of macro game knowledge allows for intercepting tape owners.

Iri distant tape how do I know which TV? - The same way you would find out before this update without an add-on. You would determine which TV they grabbed from, and which TV was furthest from that one. Even if there were 2 close to one another, you could view how the Survivor approaches the zone and which TV they are slipping towards.

Firstly, left, right is not only extrmeley situational but ill go with that logic, lets say the survivor is new and decides to go left, and you pick left.

    No value because its rng

lets say in another case a experienced survivor is given the choice left or right (which is also situational) And instead of immediately going to rid the tape, they take their time (some gen actions, healing, exc) to just make the time absolutely unpredictable then even with rng in ur favor u cannot win and this serves as a absolute counter in every way, unless ur once again lucky enough to find them (which is also very situational) but then again any good survivor knows how to hide, especially when theres value to it. so only against new players will that rng counter which isnt even sufficient will work.

also rng isnt a counterplay, but whatever

also, ur right mathematically it is more valuable for sadako to give .175 more stacks on condemned on a single survivor and even power the tv off!

    but then again…

    -3 condemned if successful

-is only condemned against ONE person, not globally

-eliminates all possible gained condemned from sadako(unless caught)

mathematically sadako could just teleport again and gain more condemned on survivors rather than chase them.

    for ur final point

WITH AN IRI ADDON YOU CAN DETERMINE WHICH TV A SURVIVOR IS HEADING TO!(assuming they dont complete other objectives beforrhand, which will entirely make this addon useless) but for ur sake

lets say you catch them off guard/ teleport to them!

    You have 2 choices

forcefully commit to a chase in hopes of getting a hit, and procrastinate to long and youll lose all pressure and other survivors and others condemned or gens will fly by

    or

let the survivor go and guarantee not losing pressure because ur own power works against u

either way is a lose lose

also important to note sadako has no chase potential or very little at that. So imagine a m1 killer trying to hit a survivor quickly without using her power

Am I supposed to know when a Surv goes for a tape - Yes, the HUD tells the Killer when someone has a tape, and a quick scan of the map tells you where (if the Killer has situational awareness). If that is too difficult then the Killer can bring the add-on that does a loud noise notification there instead. If Onryo is cross map, she can take a 50/50 TPing to the TV to the immediate left or right. With skill, the Onryo can make a reasoned guess (there is nobody on the back completed gen TV, and this person is a coward, maybe they'd go there). The only time this is questionable is at the start of a match when multiple Survs should be sitting at different TVs to grab a tape.

ur whole point is its preventable but once again its all a mindgame

keeping in mind survivors have EVERY tv option its not 50/50 against skilled survivors. Plus there is always a off chance that the survivor in question wont even take the cursed tape somewhere else because it literally nullfies sadokas whole power,

educated guesses arent 100% accurate. Any good survivor will come up with the idea the next closest tv is most likely where sadako will teleport, and have the option to chase any other tv or better yet- just dont bother going to the tv because it nullifies her own power

also,im aware of the iri addon that makes it 1 tv, but once again how am i suppose to know which tv it is?

If survivors can't hold tapes to avoid getting condemned then she can just spam teleport until everyone is ready for a mori. You really need to think about the implications of what you are suggesting.

once again this is a problem with her power nothing to do with my suggestion

her being able to give everyone condemned by just teleporting to the tv was a change nobody expected or suggested beforehand

its behaviors fault fir the lack of counter- but offering a solution that completely neglates her powet isnt very balanced

  • @Leon_Scott_Kennedy oh mb. I am suppose to by default know exactly when 1 of 4 survivors im suppose to control specifically goes out their wsy to get rid of condemned, its not like i have to focus on 3 other survivors or anything right?

and its also my fault if their across map and i have to guess what tv they go to,but once again my fault right?

  • @mikewelk i would buy if i could- legitimately i cant tho.

  • @mikewelk @LapisInfernalis at least yall both understand 💔 to put into perspective what i feel for a paid game im free 2 play in, by default i cant have so many cool killers so in stuck playing options like nurse and blight and huntress, and almost every perk that is licensed i almost dont have 😭 its a struggle using non meta perks and when i do they just get nerfed and i cry that i wasted my shards on them

  • @DrDucky its a killer that has thr ability to put teleportation on almost anywhere on the map with only limitation being having to stalk and a secondary ability that can inflict blindness which could be essential.

first glance hes weak but being able to patrol 10 places and teleporting to them instantly. Imagine him in chase.

  • @DaddyMyers_Mori behind every post i ever leave u always against it😭what u think abt this one tho

  • @Kameleon_Drake how about the mannequins take the look of a survivor in trial and do tasks survivors usually do (do gens, heal, search chests) But in fact these mannequins are actually sabotaging these things

  • @Spectralfx what r u talking about…If you are slugged and the killer is choosing not to hook you while being the last survivor..How would survivors exploit this and deny value to the killer?

regardlesd if they use the ability or not killer will win the game 100% and will get all the emblems, bloodpoijts and everything.

  • @AngelOfHope2017 i agree the nerf to medkits were a bit much but COH was busted beyond belief..Sure your a killer main but there are different killers that take the impact of certain mechanics more severely, lets never forget how busted COH was on with the twins, made pressure nearly impossible….

Also…its not viable for a killer to waste a perm slot purely for the purpose of cancelling out one singular perk slot on a single survivor.Killer perks are meant to be more powerful than survivors because its a 1v4 gamemode,so making them waste a perk slot to be even with a single survivor is crazy.

  • @not_requested49 and @RaconRatonul yes its hella situational and will probably never be used normally, but against blights with the best add-ons and nurses with the most insane blinks youll be offered some safety and be able to extend chase

  • @Raconteurminator a free health state under the impression there is a active boon in range, and are attacked by a special attack;not basic.

  • @JackOfTrades this endurance effect is only lasting under the impress the killer is face-camping;Which the developers are obviously against as their implementing this feature. And while killers should feel free to tunnel- survivors deserve a chance to retaliate against the unfair playstyle.

  • @DaddyMyers_Mori voodoo grants no speed burst and it just meant to be a arguable counter to killers who heavily use special attacks to win,and must also be in a boon totems range so its not like its always passive and doesnt have a requirement- i didnt mean for it to op just to add another option to play the game with, how would u change it?

  • really nice ideas, walkie talkies could be key for communication in dbd.

  • this is all playing hypotheticals that the 2 survivors(who hypothetically still are alive) are actively smart enough to work together without any communication, and to some extent hag and maybe skull merchant could be broken..but realistically any decent knight plsyer could at least defend 2 generators at the same time, you keep referring that the coB era is broken,it still exists just not as powerful

  • @Maperson funny enough, SWF survivors already have these restrictions in specific tournaments,I don’t exactly agree with u but I won’t argue survivors having same perks aren’t op

  • you are right about the map issue, but fixing the map itself would just create more issues- but BHVR did say they would make balanced map changes later on so I’ll take you on that.

But nonetheless 3-gens set up perfectly by killer intentfully are nearly impossible to win against,

sure, you could bring a gen rush build…but is it guaranteed you’ll go against a 3-gen killer?making a whole build to counter something that isn’t even your own fault seems unfair.

    once again,3 gens are basically unwinnable.because you need intense communication to break them. 3 gens with 4 survivors(possibly) at least one would always have to work on a gen for it to accurately work. These are results you can’t achieve solo q, and it’s kinda unfair to make solo q matches basically unwinnable just because a killer goes into the match with intent to 3-gen;

and yeah, nurse and blight could probably benefit from 3-gen -but they don’t exist because their playstyle is better benefited from playing on offense than defending a generator like skull merchant and the knight. @DaddyMyers_Mori

  • @DaddyMyers_Mori interesting. You are right about majority of this-but there are a couple issues.

like I stated- I said KILLERS do the 3-gen- not the survivors. While a 3-gen caused by survivors is completely their fault and mistake, a killer however can purposely go into a game and set up a 3 gen, and guard that area for entire match. But with a perfect squad-(R.I.P to solo q survivors, they must be irrelevant) you could organize a team to follow your steps 1-3,but there are issues even with that!

1-anti-gen perks exist and if a killer is going into a game with intent to 3-gen- high chance their whole build is gonna be anti- gen perks

2-once again- if a killer is going into a game with intent to 3-gen- their probably not gonna choose a offensive killer, and will probably stick to perfect 3-gen killers like skull merchant and knight

3-and with the right map rng,a map can be completely unwinnable if the killer has line of sight of all 3 gems-or are set up in a way that benefits the killer.
