I think this is a good suggestion unless the gates are powered then you should always get the tokens regardless. Gives extra incentive to at least try to save instead of just leaving, killer might be camping but at least your trying. If the killer is camping you should be doing gens. You're objectively hindering your team if you go for an unhook against a camper.
They said unless the gates are powered so no gens left to be done

I always assumed they do it because they're bored with the game.
(I play only solo so can't speak for SWF groups)Going for the save especially with the killer in proximity of the hook adds some actual excitement.
Some of us have played the game since it came out and have pretty much everything we need with an excess of bloodpoints. We don't care about surviving or aren't afraid of being killed going for the risky save.
Those are the things that actually provide some excitement at this point....sitting on 5 Gens holding M1...not very exciting for old players. (Not saying I don't do gens because most of the time I'm the one who does several but I only do it to help others escape, it definitely adds no excitement to the game) -
I'd be ok taking on a few high ranked survivors thinking they're getting a newbie rank 19-20 killer....if I could get anyone in my damn lobby in less than 15-20 minutes.

It really does depend on the situation and how those survivors played all match.
Did they help me if i needed it? Were they sandbagging myself or others?
Did I screw them by accident during the match and feel like I need to make it up to them? For me, the 5K from surviving isn't a big deal so I normally go for the save and sacrifice myself if needed.
Meaning I throw myself at the killer to try to get them to avoid the unhooked person.BUT the last thing I (you) want to do is turn a possible 1K into a 3 or 4K by trying to get that final save.
I will say if I am on a hook at the end, I'd rather see you leave than just stand at the exit walking in circles.

I was able to successfully Flashlight burn a Nurse once.
Found it in a chest, figured I'd try it and boom.Any other time was unsuccessful -

I had connection issues a few days ago before the event started but after about the 4th time trying to connect it just worked.
No connection issues after the update.
Just an error saying I need to verify my game but once I clicked ok, it let me in no problem. -
I read the title in a Canadian accent? You know, where statements sound like questions, eh?

If def needs a buff but should still be based around you needing to be around other survivors.
Having a 9%(ish) buff right at the start of the match doesn't seem right.Maybe the #'s need to be increased a bit and allow the buff to be active for a certain amount of time that you were around others. So you're around another survivor for a bit but they take off, you still get the buff of being around them. So on having been around 2 or 3 others. The longer you're around your team, the longer the buff lasts.
This stops the buff from happening right off the bat if you didn't spawn near others and doesn't give the buff just for others being alive. It also uses the whole point of Dwights perks of trying to be around / work with others to complete objectives.
EDIT: Wish they would give Leader some assist point buffs for others benefiting from it.
So if you're standing there while someone opens the gate, breaks a totem, sabo a hook, or there's no space for you on a gen but you stick around to give the buff to the team - you get some points from it. -

Really? Because I've been killed nearly every single time some fool tried to heal me right in front of the hook and I get chopped down while I'm being "healed".
It needs to be judged by the situation. Most of the time healing by the hook saves time. It makes no sense to run away from the hook just to heal somewhere else if the killer isn't heading back to you. It just wastes time, and if I am in a game when a survivor does that, I just leave them and go do a generator because I don't feel like chasing said survivor just to heal them.
Nothing worse than unhooking and chasing someone for a minute across the map to heal them.
I also refuse to do that. Could have healed them in 10 seconds and used that other 50 on a generator.Especially when you can see that the killer just hit someone else, downed someone, or is hooking someone else and they just keep running.

My favorite Myers build is creating a HUGE terror radius.
M&A (to increase TR +8m when in a chase) also good to have the lower TR when building up to EW3, Distressing (+26%), Unnerving Presence, Agitation (carry surv around to increase TR +12m)
Fragrant Tuft (Unlimited EW3) + Dead Rabbit (Moderately Increase TR in EW 3)
Unnerving Presence is funny with this build on low ranks. Skill checks blowing up all over the place.
Otherwise not needed and can be swapped out for any other Perk (chase, tracking perks) -
It works but it does feel less than 50% of the time though.
I use the combo often and when I do get an add-on, it's usually a Gel Dressing. -
Started off with Claudette 2 years ago, then Dwight and now mostly Ace.
