Chucky isn‘t too strong. I would also go so far to say he is balanced and weaker than the stronger killers.
I just think it‘s a missed opportunity that you can‘t turn beyond 90 degree in his sprint.

They had worse set ups than that.
Older graphics are VERY welcome. Older loop design is SADLY horrible.
Like that it would be great. I don‘t like that they move everything around change some parts completely and so on. Just change the problematic things and leave the rest.
-
I don‘t know why most people make it sound like condemned was that difficult to achieve. I got some condemned kills without even doing something for it, I just typed around a lot. So people who actually played for condemned should have archived a lot.
Hopefully they bring her back to her original and make condemned and other things stronger. Condemned is by far to strong right now and there is no real strategy behind it.
-
I will be happy if we get her old version back with some buffs, but I don‘t think they will.
I play Sadako in a disgusting way, it‘s how she is meant to be played right now with the rework. I don‘t like how I play her, but every other way is just weak and punishing.

Some killers are weak but that does not change the fact. Killer is power role. Kill rates favours killers. It was around 60% when they shared it last time.
If we were looking for power role, killer is power role right now. If people really asking 80 - 90% killrate, this will never happen. There will be zero reason to play survivor and it's already so bad atm.
That‘s how my rounds are going and I‘m almost at the point of quitting survivor entirely.
The last map reworks made clear where behavior is going and continuing this will kill the game for most people that aren‘t the top 5-10%.
Killers should have a kill rate above 50%, but not much more.

I've seen a cheater spawn bear traps on the ground, the killer (clown) was able to rearm the bear traps, so I thought it might be interesting to have this in the game
It‘s definitely a cool idea.
I play on console and I have only 4 buttons for everything and two more for emotes

Please no. Not another perk that is extremely broken on release and needs 3 nerfs until it's finally in an ok spot (CoH could maybe use some small extra to help solos but it's otherwise fine).
Good perks, I'm all for but let's not repeat the CoH journey.
COH is garbage/useless now. They just should made a solution to the boon part and left the perk with 50% self heal. Maybe that kicked boons are damaged and you got to repair them first or they get distroyed.
-
Do you only want to bring back the atmosphere part or also the maps in general?
I started the game some weeks before COH was killed and most maps already looked like they do now. When watching videos the old atmosphere was far better. I really don‘t like that you can see from one end of the map to the other.

I would consider myself a more experienced player.
I like the game right now. More than a few months ago.
I understand why others might be bored though. Not much is changing or changing too slow.
Playing killer feels mostly great and playing survivor is a miserable experience.
-
That‘s a very cool idea. They should make two variants, the old and the new one.
Decreasing the chests would be a useless offering. I never saw someone use the current one that does that.
The bear traps would either spawn on the ground and you can‘t move them or there wouldn‘t be any. One problem is the button limitation, which behavior prefers, would make it hard to bring that in the game.
-
I suppose it‘s a bug, but it would be cool if they change those auras to also be hidden by blindness.
-
I think they should revert the changes and just collect feedback before touching him again.
He got killed for many people like Sadako for me with the rework. Changing a whole character to make him more appealing for people who didn‘t enjoy the character before is just wrong.
-
Killer already is the power role. I convinced some of my friends to play dbd with me the last days and we rarely got out. I admit that they aren’t the best, but the killers weren‘t either.
I Play both roles and killer a bit more, because playing survivor feels miserable and killers are far too strong besides some. I‘m not the person as good as those survivors in videos, but I would say I‘m good.
When I play killer besides of some Autohaven maps most times it is no real challenge and it is too easy to get kills.
Shrinking the maps is also very bad in my opinion and makes the far too long gen times even more of a bad experience. I hate the knight map rework. I really liked the map before and now it’s my most hated map.
Nobody talks about why everybody gen rushs! It‘s because you got no chance if you don‘t play this game 24/7 and there is nothing else for survivor worth doing with everything being nerfed.
I would want to play this game more with friends, but it is just not enjoyable (on survivor side). So I mostly only play killer, which ends with a 4K or rarely with 0 kills, close games are rare. It‘s only stomp or get stomped.
-
Can you please make snowman’s and snowskulls permanent on ormond!

Why?
I honestly think nothing should deactivate after the exits are powered. The end game is no place for pity kills or escapes, it is part of the game.
If your perks made it to the end, you should always be able to use them.
Now the decisive strike players are joining.

Not really. Main building is getting 2 god-pallets but that's all. Survivors can't loop those pallets, they are drop and run type pallets. And once they gone, there is nothing left for main. And this main has no good vault, which makes sense to have 2 good pallets.
Rest of map is pretty much playable.
Garden of Joy, Haddonfield are worse maps.
Garden of joy is fair now. It‘s very easy for killers since the rework. A lot less pallets, the main building is less accessible and worse loops in general.

turning off televisions would do nothing because if sadako has add-on that refreshes last 4 televisions on m1. Suppose TV's build condemn every 60 seconds, you take a tape out and insert into a TV in which you will work on the gen(tapes build condemn every 30 seconds, old passive), she hits someone, TV turns back on. you accomplished nothing.
She doesn‘t have the addon to refresh her TVs right now and we don‘t know whether it will return. (Even if it returns, it will be an iri addon, which is supposed to be strong)
One stack in 60s (near on TVs) wouldn‘t be much. If it is too strong then make that carrying a tape gets rid of the passive condemned (from TVs) and you get only the tape passive condemned.
I would make that it gives maybe every ten seconds 0,15 stacks or every 30s 0,5stacks.
I feel like one of the main problems with killer is lack of global map presence and threat. Playing survivor is too safe with too little risks. the global condemn has potencial to create global threat in the game and it provides secondary objective.
It shouldn‘t be only global condemned, maybe a mix between both. I don‘t know wether you played against her much, but it feels very miserable. Besides of bad players the global condemned is extremely weak against good players and you can‘t really do much with it. Yes there is slowdown, but without the iri addon it is a very bad slowdown.
I personally would love that her global threat comes back in form of her appearing out of nowhere threw fast tp.
If you consider this a problem than I agree that they can do that change. I use turning off TV as information for where the survivor is. It is information tool for me. I would still like TV to be turned off so I can notice that the TV is off though an alternative would be giving yellow and grey aura to televisions similar to mother comb add-on. At the same time, I feel that add-on spoon feed me information and i like being able to read the game on my own to some marginal degree.
It as information tool would be fine, but not being able to tp there is just annoying.
-
It would be funny with head on
-
It‘s a joke. I can‘t get pips, every round I get one teammate that kills himself first hook and then the others follow. I‘m stuck in bronce.
-
Pig wastes so much time following you in stealth. Everytime she does that it‘s a free win for the survivors and if your teammates have some honor, they will distract her before the head pop happens. Also you can just run away and in the end she has to go out of stealth, because she is too slow, then she chases you and the timer is paused. You could prevent this situation most times entirely by searching the boxes before the timer even starts.
-
Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!

I would want the tapes to be like before the rework, because in the current form I don‘t like that people switch off TVs only to counter condemned. If it was willingly it would be fine, but so I hate it.
The solution to improving this is just making televisions turn off for less time. current amount for survivor to turn off TV's is 70 seconds. you simply reduce time to much lower value such as 20 seconds. By doing this, survivor can still tapes but it will not limited your teleportation choices. old iri-tape might need to be base-kit due to how easy it would be to take tapes out of the TV's and spam reduce condemn to 0 almost instantly.
No 10s cooldown, instead only the time you need to change the mode to allow her fast mobility again, which was the coolest thing
the original reason why this 10 seconds was added was to limit amount of global condemn that Sadako could add. the solution to fixing this problem is making it so that teleport has no cooldown but global condemn application has 10 second global cooldown. this means you can teleport as much as you want but you won't build condemn for doing so.
TVs also have an area around them where you get a small amount condemned (when on) just by being close and by looking at the clip on the Tv you get more passive condemned
active teleport encourage you to play actively rather then play passively waiting for the passive to "win" the game for you. In some ways, the dynamic is anti-3 gen mechanic. While this also encourages "spamming" teleports, spamming teleport is still more active then then doing absolutely nothing and gaining mori's.
The radius around tvs, which gives you condemned after a tp, gets split in three areas. First radius (16-20m) around the TVs 0,5 stacks, in the second radius (8-16m) 1 stack and close (0-8m) to the TVs 2 stacks. So that you would be rewarded to chase survivors into TVs.
Condemned should be applied at the start of the crawling out a TV animation, not afterwards
all areas (16m) around TVs give 1 stack condemned (maybe only as addon)
the whole reason why this was changed was to make killer less dependent on map size and tv's spawns. also to discourage slugging people near televisions because limited radius encourages TV camping and Gen camping because these are locations where survivor is forced to interact with the killer.
How did you make the line on the left side where you quoted me?

Tapes should loose the ability to turn off TVs if they stay the same. Hopefully old iri tape returns in some form.

They can just turn the TVs close to them off, so it will only do something if you let the TVs on. It‘s a less free mori than right now. This is only meant to be some form of small increase/bonus but not the insta mori. Lore wise it would also fit.

We may have run into completely different RNG’s because all I see is 4-5 in main building area, most of the times with 3 gens inside the ship. I find it extremely easy to defend gens (and basement if you get it in main). The clutter part is true though!
I had a mirror Myers defending a 3 gen in the main building. It was almost impossible to get on the gen and stay there.

A few months ago, there was an experimental PTB which allowed The Executioner to inflict Torment via direct Punishment of the Damned hits. This wasn't well-received and subsequently reverted due to tunneling potential.
This post aims to provide a remedy; both re-buffing Pyramid Head, whilst conserving the fairness towards Survivor & gameplay flow.
[Idea]
The Executioner can once again inflict Torment via Punishment of the Damned, BUT: Any Survivor with an active Endurance effect, or Deep Wound effect, is unaffected by Torment.
Cages of Atonement now also give Survivors the Endurance effect for 60 seconds + the basekit Haste effect that hooks give.
This will help to eliminate The Executioner's ability to tunnel relentlessly off of hooks/cages, whilst also making Cages of Atonement appear more frequently in regular gameplay.
That wouldn’t make him better. I only want that his barbed wire stays longer on the ground.
Also his addons could be made better.

@Shroompy said:
As many have mentioned before, it increases the sway it gives more bloodpoints. As for having the bar 99'd, its because of buffering. When the killer starts locking into the hook animation you can see them slide over to it but you can still wiggle during that time.
There are plenty of interactions like this, one of the most prominent is probably Doctors shock and vaulting/throwing a pallet. If a Survivor pressed the button before the shock was sent out, the vault will take priority.
You can‘t wiggle off when he looks at the hook and moves magically closer to it before the animation for hooking someone even starts

Yes it should make loot in chests better + the current effect.
When that happens I would also change plunderers instinct to not give better loot and instead make searching chests faster. Also I would make aces perk where you get addons on items from chests and that you don‘t loose the addons after games base kit.

What quality of life options would you like to see?
In the pause menu you can look at the perks of your team like after games where you see the points from everybody. The perks of the other side are hidden until the end. Also you could read the description of your and your teammates perks if you forgot what those did.
The ability to change colors of different type of auras and scratch marks. For example make gen auras blue and surivior auras green… and to prioritize auras so that survivor auras aren‘t hidden behind gen auras.

So its more fair that Killers can proxy-camp and get insane value out of it? And this is CURRENT state. With Hook Grabs, it would potentially even more.
Camping is completely fine it‘s nothing fun but a strategy like tunneling.
Face camping was less effective as proxy camping in my opinion, because it was easier to sneak up to the hook and then the teammates distract the killer for the save. Proxy camping is more effective in the way that you see people earlier and can react faster.
The face camping mechanic shouldn’t have been introduced, you should get the effect with perks not for free and then it could be stronger.
Hook graps were a fine mechanic and there is no reason to get someone of hook just for free when the killer is close to the hook there should be some teamwork, perk or smart play involved.

And depletes the survivors hook states by one, and leaves an injured survivor in close proximity. The killer is still at an advantage.
In every game where someone attempts a rescue in front of me and results in a trade, it's never been in the survivors favour.
You're already winning. You don't need to win more, especially when it comes at the cost of having absurdly ridiculous hook dance standoffs in the game.
How is it fair when the survivor who you chase goes for the unhook when there is almost nothing left for the second stage? It shouldn‘t punish the killer. The killer should get those two hook stages and not only one when the survivor risk that.

I honestly think that this would be one of the better modes for BHVR to add into DBD since this mode could actually have the chance to make the game scary again(especially if the killer is a stealth killer like Myers and Ghostface).
Also, off topic, can we all agree that the "Giant" mode is the lesser idea out of all the proposed modes? It's literally just normal DBD, but with giant killer models and tiny survivor models.
I hope they make an update to bring back the old Dbd atmosphere. From what I‘ve seen it looked far better back then.

We're not at all though in the same situation. Hook grabs before allowed a killer to facecamp and grab any survivor trying to stop it. If a killer tries to facecamp NOW, AFC simply let's the hooked survivor leave.
The HEALTHY use of hookgrabs is the only thing being stopped now, in which a survivor who is mid chase decides to do an unhook. If you beeline to a hook mid chase, that's not the killer camping. You deserve to be grabbed.
Yes I don‘t understand the removal of hook grabs with anti face camp existing. In chase they shouldn‘t be allowed to unhook in the killers face, then other people should have to go there.
I have a clip some weeks before the removal of hook grabs, where the stupidity of survivors was punished. https://youtu.be/HI52R31leyg?si=gSu_Sk1BKcmUw25L

I'd rather have no hook grabs than anti facecamp. Getting rid of hook grabs is the greatest step they ever took towards ending camping. The anti facecamp system is useless and I have seen it trigger in any of my games only once.
I would want anti face camp as an effect in perks, that would make it more useful, against real camping killers. For example in reassurance and other perks that have something to do with hooks. Not as base kit.

The problem with gen rush is that if you don‘t you lose. The times are already too high and wasting time makes the difference in winning or losing. That makes survivors even more gen rush. Maybe reducing the time would make games last longer (80s).
I personally would like generator events (malfunction) to be introduced where we get skill checks like with merciless storm and there is a higher chance to appear when more people are working on gens. When failed the gen gets blocked for a short time. Or reducing the time to 70s and you have to find oil etc for them.
Giving killer better base regression could also make it better for example kicking a gen gets rid of 5 more % of progress.

To preface I play on console -
Boil Over can be quite an annoying perk to deal since at least on console it can waste 3-4 seconds not being able to get through doors and whatever but ever since the buff I’ve been using Agitation which more or less counters it most times.
But the problem comes when certain maps are offered and you get unfortunate hook placement which makes it near if not outright impossible to hook survivors jumping in and out of lockers and slugging can often result in a For The People/Buckle Up save which is quite obnoxious to play against.
So my suggestion is to block all map offerings if any survivor chooses Boil Over.
Alternatively just get rid of the falling progressing grasp escape since I generally only see that being used by survivors exploiting hook placements on maps anyhow.
Boil over is useless most of the time and using it on those maps is the only way to get value from it. Just slug them they will bleed out. Stay close so you get the savior in time.
I had a round where two people did that and in the end both screwed their team.

It doesn't make sense for killers to just be able to stand a top basement and not have any progress to the anti-camp added? Like what is that? They should still be within range.
It does, only very slow and when teammates are close, it stops or slows down.
