the "movement speed while throwing" addons help him a lot, but with or without he's incredibly weak. that being said, i still have fun playing him somehow
-
no one. i just play the game like i would any other match no matter who the survivors are

He does it to catch his victims off guard, that is seen in Saw 1, rather, that is reflected in his power today, Also since you mention the creative freedom of the developers, the roar of The Pig is a clear reference to the Saw franchise and links it to his power, the sounds of Michael Myers' mask and his characteristic sound when he stalks, is also a reference and is linked to his power, any licensed killer shows something of his past through sounds or special abilities, On the one hand to Ghost Face, the power reminds me a lot of Scream's Ghostface when he called his victims and stalked them when he called them.

Except when was the last time a weak killer came out of the PTB actually strong after that feedback? Almost never is the answer.

Lose collision = killer cannot hit them! How is that not invulnerability?
losing collision as in they can't be bodyblocked by the killer or other survivors for a brief moment, they can still be hit

Wait wait wait... you're honestly saying that survivors should develop automatic immunity from the killer just because they happen (or are pretending) to be AFK?? Are you for real?? That's so ripe for abuse! It punishes the killer for something completely outside of their control, and puts them at risk of the survivor "coming back to life" and proceeding with objectives completely unaware to the killer.
Suppose two people are AFK, how is the killer supposed to end the match? That's essentially holding the game hostage.
the idea was for them to lose collision, not to become invulnerable.

We have multiple statements by the dev team that they do really care about this topic and they want to be inclusive and want to do it right. That’s also their reason why they take their time for adding a char thats LGBT, they didn’t want to rush it and just be done with it
well, i hope that if they do add it, it's done well

i've already stated that, as a gay person myself, i'd love to see representation in this game, but i want it to be handled tastefully and have it feel genuine rather than something just done for the sake of having good PR

To be completely honest I feel like we're at a point with LGBT acceptance that we honestly don't have to make a huge deal about every bit of LGBT representation. At a certain point we're just regular people living regular lives that just so happen like the same sex. Drawing a ton of attention to "LOOK AT THIS LGBT MEMBER" reminds me a lot of having friends who refer to me as their 'lesbian friend' like it's the biggest novelty in the world. It felt weird at best and kind of hurtful at worst (With the best intentions, it just feel dehumanizing to be told from the first interaction with new people "I know you're gay!" I'd never say that aloud though.) I don't like being reduced to liking women as if no other quality about me matters.
It's really rough when LGBT characters are their... entire personality? Like "Hey look at this gay guy who's gay and he has a boyfriend/husband because he's gay. What does he do? Something gay!" Like just building some weird caricature of a person that can't exist in the real world.
What I'm saying is, LGBT representation is cool and all but I love some actual depth. I want some backstory, something that makes them have development and personality. Someone who is cool, strong, overcomes struggles and is relatable and hey if they're LGBT that's fantastic too. I hope DBD puts some effort into it if it's an LGBT character, otherwise it's just pandering. Which would feel pretty garbage to me. To be reduced to a marketing stunt.
i'm down for LGBT rep in this game, pretty much agree with this statement wholeheartedly

personally, i think wraith needs green windstorm to be basekit, and then change the windstorm addons to do something to that "out of cloak" sprint that he gets. this opens up a lot more possibilities for builds with him since you have both perk slots open instead of one always being the necessary "windstorm slot"

No they aren't. DC penalties was created to help tunnelling camping killers out. Killers complained that survivors was DCing and messing up their camping and tunnelling fun. After all... It's all about the killers having fun right?
that kind of mentality is what spreads toxicity in this community. the DC penalties are intended to discourage someone from disconnecting and ruining the match for 4 other people, nothing more or less. the devs are not biased like that, especially when it comes to strategies that they've implemented many perks that are intended to counter tunnelling and camping (DS, BT, etc)

it was scary for the first few games. now the only scary thing about this game is how poorly developed it is

Like undying? You know the broken OP perk.
the discussion isn't about undying, it was about corrupt intervention. corrupt is a very strong perk, but it does have a rather large downside in that it does nothing for you after it expires

why do you think that billy wasn't fine before the nerf?

Fair point.
Yesterday i missed each and every shot with him. So i guess, those survivors had the time of their live.
I think he needs a rework of his addons. Since the red ones are useless. (Deathslinger)
i think iri coin is fine, it's pretty hard to get a shot at that range but when you do it's a huge help. hellshire iron, however, could probably use a change.

It has no downsides or Risks for his reward.
the downside is that once it's gone, it's gone, and you are now playing with three perks instead of four.

that survivor's health bar doesn't go down quicker if you repeatedly hit them on hook💀
you know, a lot of people i know thought that when they were new to the game. seems like it would do that, right?
-
split everyone up, don't run into deadzones against him, feed him pallets conservatively, and use windows to your advantage.
-
i can understand wanting a freddy or even doctor nerf, but wraith and bubba are low-mid tier killers already who struggle to get consistent good games. if they were nerfed, they'd probably become unplayable.

It's just a brutally honest game. If you fail, you get punished - simple as that.
Players need to stop relying on the mercy or lack of skill of the opposite side to be successful at the game.
If you constantly get downed and killed in a matter of seconds then maybe it's time to get good!?
If you constantly get looped and gen rushed without getting any hooks then maybe it's time to get good!?
These two things can't go hand in hand, it's either one or another and the fact that both situations seem to happen "all the time" just proves that it's result of the players lack of skill rather than the games balance.
I just had to point it out because I'm getting really tired of all the excuses both sides constantly come up, such as "basement abuser, 3 gen strat abuser, DS abuser, flashlight abuser, pallet abuser, camper, tunneler, slugged,...".
Like what the hell? Just learn to play and stop crying ffs.
while i believe this statement has some truth to it, there are a lot of things in this game that are incredibly unbalanced and can lead to very easy/undeserved wins from either side.
killers have:
- NOED
- Iridescent Hatchets for Huntress
- Pinky Finger for Clown (this one isn't a hard carry/free win but it's still incredibly powerful)
- Double Iridescent Myers
survivors have:
- Purple/Iri Keys
- Object of Obsession (in a SWF)
- DS/Unbreakable (on their own not that bad, but together super strong)
the game has gotten better since the old days where BNP instantly repaired gens and moris could be used to kill survivors without hooking them, but there are still plenty of other "nuclear" options in the game. there's a little more to it than just "learn to play better" in some cases, and i'm sure this discussion has been had more times than the entity has consumed a survivor, but i feel like it needs to be said here

What? No they are killing the flashlight battery when they do so
most macros do it fast enough that it doesn't actually drain the battery at all. i've never used one myself, but i've seen videos of people doing it.
