i must be on crack because The Twin's power is one of the worst in the game at the moment
Not often I completely agree with you but..the holes in this killer are numerous enough you could strain noodles with them

and then 95% of the spirits I play against run stridor and therefore walking slowly doesn't matter because you're crying and breathing loudly, it counters iron will, and spine chill is a counter? lol.
Easy..you can still abuse her collision and strider screws her distance gauging which is why I avoid it
-
Yeah I faced Ralph once..was going pretty well till my team got greedy and I got kobed
-
Moris should be a mechanic thats Earnable through skillful play, not an offering which derails the match..makes no sense as they're a big part of the killers identity
-
Spirit, nurse, or blight..they change up the tedium that is the looping game

Not a bug they gave that to him

You didn't even listen to what I said at all, you just drew your own conclusions. I'm not a "PC Elitist", I just want to play a fair match with people who don't think they have to camp and tunnel to win. I also didn't say anything about "de-pipping", I couldn't care less. You guys don't understand what is being said, you're just getting defensive about consoles and putting words in my mouth.
"Console players making dbd a whole lot less fun" sounds pretty pc elitist to me, you claiming any non pc platform is affecting your experience for the negative..id suggest you rethink a few things before claiming your not being elitist tbh

You don't seem to understand freddy very well

Why are you all so angry? I see thousands of videos and screenshots of ps4 saltiness and rage for dbd almost more than pc, so why it be that way?
Game quality on ps4 has never been very good , only very recently have we gotten above 30 frames per second only to have it stripped away in 1 update

Object is exhibit A of the balance issues swf can create , now we can't change swf realistically but things that swf break can be

Id recommend you check your sources and do a tad more reading next time

Even if you feel the game balance is tilted towards survivor, I would still argue Freddy could use a nerf. The most efficient way of balancing a game is to nerf top killers, buff weak killers, and then adjust overall game balance based on killer performance. If survivors are OP right now against most killers but Freddy's fine, buffing killer overall would make Freddy OP.
I personally do feel he needs a nerf. I would remove his slowdown add-ons now that he doesn't need to manually pull people into the dream world. I would also remove the time penalty for survivors repeatedly waking each other up. I think the worry was that you'd just have two people stick together and always wake each other up, but think about it this way - to wake up someone else, iirc that takes four seconds at base for two people. You fall asleep in a minute, so on average you'd have to waste at least 4/30 or 13% of your time just to wake up. If you choose to do the same thing by missing a skill check when two people are on the gen, you lose ~5-6 seconds of co-op gen progress each time (4-4.5 seconds for the regression, and a bit more for not being able repair the gen while it's sparking). If we call it 6 for easy math, that's like 10% of your time. So, even if you kept the base wake up time, you'd still have the choice between the stealthy and time consuming wake up, or the loud, instantaneous, and slightly less net-time-wasting wake up. Seems balanced.
I would also change up the husk animation on the teleport; as is, he can cancel his teleport when the husk like 90% of the way out of the ground. Once the husk starts spawning I don't think he should be able to cancel his teleport. Last thing I'd do is make Freddy move marginally slower while placing snares.
Your proposing taking everything freddy has..with that attitude I can't really see this conversation going anywhere as its one sided

I understand what you mean. You compare a killer to another survivor. But I'm comparing a killer to another killer. And compared to other killers, freddy is easier and has less skill cap.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1673251#Comment_1673251
Not necessarily increasing passive time. It could be anything. Even reworking how the survivors go into dream world just to make the killer work for it.
Survivor Takes less effort than any killer..so thats just a cop out tbh
-
Your not supposed to..the dream world mechanic only exists to give survivors a choice to take time waking or stay under his power , no killer is nerf worthy in current dbd..not even close
-
A neat idea,, with some refinement it could give legion some lethality

Well when I play him I try to shoot me before they get close to drop or right as they would've been able to. Or try doing a moon walk to flick turn around and shoot to catch those who sit and pallets. Doesn't always work but it's funny. If they made him faster I'd want a terror radius side increase. Not sure if that'd truly be fair but I'm tired of all the monitor DS players. He gets close for free and has a ranged power.
A ranged power that is frankly almost more trouble than its worth though

A Huntress cooldown would absolutely work on him. Worst case you can speed up the travel time of POTD's shockwave so that no one can dodge it. It's already impossible to dodge if either the killer or survivor has even moderately high ping, so I really don't think that would be much of a buff. It would be more consistent and easier to aim, though, which is always nice.
For Slinger it wouldn't work , as for ph..all I know this was a flat nerfcwithout adjusting the killer side of the ph problem

Well I don't think it should be as long as hers if he got one but who knows if they ever will do or say anything about it.
If he gets one he needs to not be 110 at least..because that would remove any pallet play he has and a 110 without pallet play is doomed to fail

oni's hard nerfs were reverted and made 90 degree flick. Ruin got changed to be more consistent bad players got destroyed while good players hit great skill checks consistently enough to make it useless. Billy is fine his add ons arent too bad. Demo has really strong chase power and can sue shred to zone and end loops.
Demos chase isn't what I'd call super strong tbh..so many loops prevent it from effective use
-
He would need to be in swing range for that to even matter lol, at that point he's risking losing his target , and slinger can't have a huntress cd..it wouldn't work for him ever without changing his core kit significantly ..hed be the worst killer in game, no exaggeration

Pop got a 15 second nerf it really is not that bad. Also killer nerfs have not hit harder. Can you give me an actually hard nerf to killers in the past year.
Onis original nerfs, ruins nerf was brutal, hillbilly took a big one unnecessarily, demo got nerfed before his release and look where he is lol..there are examples
-
people say it because any negative changes to killer are always worse than it is for survivors..take the perks in the next patch..its very clear which perks were actually improved..as for pop..i think its been examined why its stupid already..
-
Ehhhh..I'm not for it personally
-
pass tbh
-
He's not quite as good as people think..heck I barely see him anymore already..I believe its to help with his issues with certain maps

@Chilidawg said:
This again.. I'm doing pretty well with him at rank 1. You have to be creative with his power and turning addons are insanely good for making sure you hit your target. Most of the time if i miss it was my fault or the survivor was just barely around a corner or something. That's frustrating but do you really think you should get EVERY hit? Dead hard is a nuisance but that's about it.
Still iffy
-
Thats beyond overkill..hexes have too many counters already
-
Most of these are way overbuffed
-
Regression is 1/4 the speed of a solo survivor repairing unaided..that's the issue with that
-
This is what people are worried about ..? Personally I'm just glad killers got SOME sound indicators back

It might just be a complete coincidence, but my performance as the Blight noticeably increased when I unlocked Hex: Ruin to pair with Hex: Undying.
Is the Blight really that good or survivors just unable to do bones ?

Honestly, it just sound alike you're bad at Blight. If I see a survivor in the open, they get hit, whether they dodge or not.
Lol I'd wager your wrong

I believe the default swing angle is 45 degrees, but coupled with the camera turn prior to the swing, you can get a lot more out of it, as well as weave through some obstacles due to the length of the lunge.
There's definitely spots where you can't use your power... which is normal, that's how powers work.
Except when even in the limited space you have to attack you can be side stepped with no effort
-
@MadLordJack said:

No. I would literally never lose a trial. That would actually be stronger than Nurse. A killer who always has the best mobility in the game AND you cannot dodge no matter what you do? A killer who literally doesn't care about having to hit you twice because you're going down 5 seconds later? GGs.
If your in the open you should expect to be punished..that logic is ludicrous
-

But... But I can touch you. Even if you run around debris... I'm right there and you don't have a loop. Time to get a thwack.
Also, if he had any more control he would actually be OP.
No..if it was the same as oni it would be fine ..oni one shots and can turn better than blight ffs

It seems like it's even lower than Hag's, it's stupid. I get that it's probably for bounce accuracy but in reality it hurts him more than helps him.
I've heard nclean has said itll be raised but can't confirm..I did hear him say they've gotten feedback that it bothers people..and rightly so

Sure you can. Press E.
I'm not going to speak on how powerful Blight is because I don't know. I will say that his camera 1000% needs to be adjusted and certain bugs need to be fixed. It's kinda annoying how effective stealth is vs him and how there're certain tiles that can be mindgamed from the survivor PoV but not from his. The boy's not that short even with his hunchback, his camera shouldn't be that low.
Hes almost as big as trapper and he has hags camerw
-
@MadLordJack said:
I see so many people calling this killer weak because they are too scared to try him in loops and don't realise you are supposed to swing at where they will be, not where they are.
Is it because I was a Plague/Slinger main that I just fell I to that playstyle? I know it's a thing that only those two and Huntress even need to bother attempting.
The issue is it's a melee attack..it makes sense with the other killers..but when I can just run sideways and the blight can't touch me as a result there's something wrong here
-
@PigMainClaudette said:
ANY killer is technically a "noob stomper"
But within the context of your statement, you can't run the Blight like he's other killers. Same way that you can't run in a straight line against someone like Hillbilly. Each killer has their own "rules of engagement" and it's up to the players to learn what each rule set is. It just seems like your opponents HAVE learned the Blight's rules and are playing accordingly.
And by playing his rules made him garbage..fantastic

You don't believe me? I can prove his crazy turning angle power. I've done it plenty of times before.
Please do..because every time I swing it stops at 45 degrees
-
@DarKaron said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1622147#Comment_1622147
There is one flaw to that theory, however:
Blight can turn up to 90 degrees if the player maximizes their turning on their mouse.
As soon as that cane goes up, there is a split second of control where the player can turn him to a 90-degree angle from his original facing direction. With proper reading and baiting techniques, Blight can easily hit Survivors who try to juke him.
Bullshit
-
@GrimmReaper said:
Pretty much. That tight angle is his Achilles' heel and I'm surprised not many people have realised that. Just a simple turn to the left or right and he's effectively useless. Even running up to him at an angle or when he's in his first rush is a massive kick in the sack.
It's annoying because everyone is having a blast and hes already got an addon nerf incoming but it's going to be a complete ######### show come a month

ehh ? come and give me an advise if you know it better.
Well for one the entire coin toss argument insinuates there's only 2 outcomes..the thing about spirit is, shes blind during her phase and has no collision..which means there are jukes only she is susceptible to, things like the stand still mind game..dont let her use it..if you must..run from the tile and when you know she needs to phase to catch you try doubling back sometimes, if you treat spirit like a normal chase your eating raw blade fragments , but if you try to be as unpredictable as she is..using everything from windows to fire barrels to throw her off, you force her to figure you out..not the other way around..that's the real difference between good and bad spirits
-
His counterplay Is too easy with his lunge and his camera is horrible..if those get tweaked..hes set..even if I wish his pallet smash wasn't an addon
-
We shall see what they do I suppose

It might be rare to you but idk how often you play survivor. Every single time I go against a GOOD PH I'm just screwed if I'm already injured at a window (and sometimes a pallet).
I personally don't care about the cages except for how much PH seems to love to tunnel (even without auras, it's really easy for PH to KNOW where you're gonna go based on where he cages you and thus be able to pull up on you easily). Otherwise, I don't really mind DS and BT being countered. It's just tough to deal with actual tunnelers (which, like I mentioned, a lot of PHs seem to be, unfortunately)
My only desired change to him would be for it have to be a little bit more of a committment for him to m1/m2 switch. Something closer to the likes of Huntress, and further from Deathslinger, you know? If he fakes an M2 he loses almost nothing if a survivor calls it out because of how quickly he can just smack them anyway.
In the end, though, I'm not currently too bothered by PH- I still care way more about Stridor Spirits and M&A Deathslingers. I'd rather see Spirit changed before they touch PH LMAO
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1615142#Comment_1615142
If you wanna feel rewarded for shots, just make sure you go up against a lobby of Switch players 😭😭 Switch players have no rights and every single time I go against a PC PH, I get hit by POTDs that I should NOT be getting hit by LOL
Spirit isnt really an issue..stridor may be a tad much for her but, since iron will exists it's a grey area..she still has to get you like anyone else , but ph..all he has right now is his zoning..dodging his line is just way too easy usually
