  • Spine chill is fine. U can literally counter it by not looking directly at a survivor u suspect that has it (which is really ez to tell) and u will probably get much closer than to a survivor who doesn't survivor have it, bc survivors that use spine chill are usually not paying attention.

If ure a stealth killer which power is stalking u can get close and THEN stalk, u can't really sneaky stalk survivors in red ranks anyways, u stalk "aggressively" and that should be the same for someone with spine chill.

Also, as I said, there's counter to spine chill, but there's no counter to whispers, I don't get it, I find both perks fine, but if u think spine chill needs a nerf, then so does whispers

  • I actually love the idea of putting recolor versions of the cosmetics in the store, kinda gives the exclusive premium for the ones who grind the rift and still gives the skins for the ones that couldn't get it.

I don't really mind them putting the cosmetics in the store tho, it's just confusing to me that people say "u save a lot of money when buying the rift" I mean... All rift skins that released can be obtained with shards can't they? So I can totally buy them without wasting money, but, in the rift, I have to buy it and if I don't want to "lose" the money I have to grind it, so I don't really see the point in doing the rift, apart from just getting the cosmetics early

  • Ds timer pauses if ure in a chase? Yh no, looking at the ground shouldn't make u ez to tunnel, or also just literally playing wraith for example and chasing someone cloaked

The other idea someone said about that as u get of the hook u turn into the obsession and only the obsession could use ds? Easily abused by camping Bubba (ik ik, u shouldn't really save against camping Bubba, but u get what I mean but that is the only "COUNTER" to that strategy and with this change he would literally have none)

Although I like both ideas, they still have some really ez ways to get abused

ok so if they do run immediately back from the other side of the map to the hook and see the survivors and start a chase on the unhooked person it means a few things

    1. they went looking for someone else and failed and when someone gets unhooked it is guaranteed that half of the team is at least there
    2. it takes quite a while to run back from one side of the map so why didn't they move?
    3. they might be in a bad spot
    4. the teammate might have fled off leaving just him there

    1. Cool, then go after the one who unhooked, ez. If u don't find the one who unhooked then that's unfortunate, and I hate when that's the scenario that I'm forced in, and have to "tunnel", even if it isn't what I wanted, I still have in mind that I am tunneling tho, not really because I want the person out of the game, but I am. Also, there's a lot of scenarios where the killer is IN CHASE with someone, and as soon as he hears the notification he goes right back to the unhook, that situation is self explanatory.

    2. They could be healing or if they went away then there's probably still scratch marks and it's easy to find the person (especially if there's no iron will), if they didn't run then they r hiding close by, that point makes kinda no sense

    3. U mean, the killer having a bad match and needing to tunnel someone? 100% understandable (I'm not even being sarcastic) but still tunneling

    4. Similar to a scenario I said in the 1st point, ure "induced" into tunneling by the one who unhooked cause he just hided, ur not tunneling because u want to, but ure still tunneling, even with that change that u said about ds, DS would still see it as tunneling

Also, if the killer is in the other side of the map and comes right back to the hook after the hooked one gets rescued, it could still be tunneling (ofc, in certain scenarios), he wasn't camping, but he can be tunneling still, I think u kinda confused them with one another in other answer, which is normal, camping and tunneling usually come together, but not necessarily

Sorry for the long ass answer :/

  • I haven't tried that build yet, but when I'm eventually able to, I will definitely try it.

I don't get why people think it shouldn't have synergy with flip flop, u literally have to get slugged, recover half the bar and crawl to a pallet. This is already too much situational, so, in order too make it less (but still) situational u throw in unbreakable, flip flop and tenacity, ure LITERALLY using 4 perks for a situation that might not even happen.

Power struggle by itself is just so fcking useless, who would be the killer that would go through a pallet while carrying someone? Like, seriously, u wanna nerf a situational perk that uses all 4 perk slots to be good? What's wrong with u?

And it's not a free escape, it could be the first time in the match, but after that, unless u aren't thinking logically, there's literally a very basic and obvious counter which is picking up right away and mostly u won't have to even worry about the "oh so hated" DS because there's not even room for it in there, and if the person does have DS, then it's unluckily that she will get to use power struggle.

As a killer I've faced it, got hit with it, and then I thought to myself "damn, this guy is a god", and also knew straight away he's entire build, so I knew I could tunnel him if I wanted to and not to slug him bc even without a pallet he will get back up with unbreakable, and that's it, don't know what's wrong with the perk :/

  • @Klakky said:

I don't even follow it I dunno why twitter sent me that notification but Im sorry,I was fooled :(

It's okay man, we all get fooled by something at some point

  • Is this actually solid information?

Weren't they changing fixated and some other perks instead of those ones?

And it's actually weird to imagine that they would change Freddy's lunge hitbox, since basically every killer has the same lunge length

  • I actually love the perk, I have 2 builds for it, one where I use it with breakout and prevent teammates getting hooked, and another one with medkit and inner strength, I just take hit and heal.

The frustration part of this perk is not even the perk itself, its the stupid game, I can't tell how many times I've taken an hit literally GLUED to the injured survivor, and didn't get a protection hit, that pisses me off.

And I agree, the aura revealing should be removed, it was okay if u think how the perk worked in the original state, now just doesn't make sense

    Reporting does nothing.

I did a lot of reporting against post chat with racism, violence, harassment with printscreens, proof, tickets ingame and offgame and etctera.

I got feedback but nothing were done.

Waste of time sadly. Nowdays i just hit continue after die or survive i don't ever bother say "gg", be camped or tunneled or even who is the killer as i am soloq 100% of time.

I just check if i'm curious about build or perks.

"Move on" that's my advice, nothing will be done.

Well that’s a shame, as I said I don’t really mind this, but there are a lot of people that are sensitive and can get affect, and I actually feel bad about that. Death threats/wishes usually come from “kids” or grown enough people that are just plain stupid, even if reporting doesn’t work I guess I’ll keep on doing it, they just shouldn’t be playing this game in the 1st place

  • @HelterSmelter said:

    You guys report that stuff?

So what if a stranger talks crap in a tiny box after the game is over? I'd expect the people in charge get countless legitimate reports and salty ones, I feel like that's a waste of energy to report harmless banter, why not have fun with it?

Seriously you outplayed them enough they felt the need to type the classic "#########" line, why not embarrass them further with a fire comeback? Don't have the creative energy to? Ignore it and move on.

I actually had fun with it, I felt kinda good that he was that mad just bc we did “fine”, but ik that there’s people that actually get hurt by that and I want this game to be healthier than it is, u don’t even lose 1min to report stuff like this ingame it’s more like future time saved than lost in that moment.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

It is a bannable offense. And yes, both Killer and Survivor are doing this, the thing is, there are more Survivors than Killers, so it is just logical that you see more from the Survivor Side. Thats math.

From my experience, you dont need to report her via a Support-Ticket, the Chatlogs are visible for the people dealing with the Reports.

And yes, I already got those. One Killer said that we (aka the Survivors) will "luckily" die from Covid. This was after I told him that he should break Pallets and breakable Walls, after he was calling me a Cheater for abusing Structures (he refused to break Shack Pallet for a long time and did not break the Breakable Wall in the Ironworks Main Building...).

So, yeah, DBD does not only have nice people. But the vast majority of players on both sides is nice and does not insult, especially not using death wishes.

Damn ure right I keep forgetting tha there's more survivors then killers yh.

And from what u told, this was either a "new" player or a player that just refused to learn and break pallets, I get that getting runned for a long time can be frustrating, but jeez, anyone would've figured out that u have to break the pallet atleast lol, the fact that u then told him what he shouldve done and he just wished that u would get covid...yikes

    @Xzan said:

I closed my egc after a lot of harassment. I'm tired of reporting something and getting 0 Feedback for it.

An ingame report is enough. The chatlog will be saved and reviewed.

Wait do u get feedback if the person u reported gets banned?

  • 1 Be always with someone, if ure injured and Victor comes, once he hits one of u, just kick him

2 Always heal, Victor can't to snowballs if you're all healed

3 If ure alone, injured and getting chased by him, get in a locker, this doesn't make u invincible, but that isn't the purpose, the reason to do this is that he doesn't get to snowball, and the killer wastes a lot of time going to get u

Wglf is fcking good against them, on the 1st point, if u have wglf u can usually pick the person up even before the killer/Victor comes back

Now, as u can see, all this strategy depends on ur teammates (lol good luck) and this wastes a lot of time that u won't be spending on gens, which isn't bad, it's nice having a killer with slow down potential, the bad thing is when they have ruin undying, then ure ######### dead. Ruin undying, usually, requires a lot of time to get rid of, and if u combine that time wasted with the time wasted healing and stuff... Yh rip, prepare for a long ass game with a little to no progress

The cooldown after Victor is kicked is a joke, doesn't matter if Victor is Charlotte's only power, he is a killer with 150% speed, u shouldnt be able to use him all the time if u ######### up, the cooldown should be longer, maybe 15s? Idk, anything like 20s or above seems like too much so I can't be sure, but 6s is literally nothing.

Camping with them is absolutely ridiculous too, if Victor is camping what I do is crouch, kick him, and get the rescue. Now if Charlotte is camping... LOL get #########, nothing u can do, no borrowed time, no #########. Counter to camping be like "if the killer is camping, do gens, they can't pressure gens and r wasting time", then a killer that can do both is release, good job. This should be looked into too, camping with Victor isn't THAT much of a problem cause u have counterplay, but with Charlotte there's nothing and that's just stupid (I mean, u have ds that u can use once, yes, don't get me wrong that perk asides from the obvious tunneling u get sometimes, is stupid, but against the twins I've seen it meaning nothing cause u have it once, and never again)

I do believe that when we compare the anxiety a casual player gets when playing killer and then survivor, in the killer side it will be higher. I agree that playing your main is less stressful, but still it doesn't compare to the easy time survivors have.

As for the keys, I think that it's incredibly unfair when you play as killer, have perfect control over gens, 2 survivors left and....oh they....escaped through hatch. I believe it has happened to most of us, and it probably felt incredibly unfair to get a tie for doing great and doing things right, just because they have an item.

If only one survivor escapes in that situation, it's a different story isn't it? Cuz you probably get a 3k instead, which is a win.

I agree that survivor has a much easier time yh. Now, stress and anxiety is different for me. I get much more anxious playing survivor, but that's a 'me' thing

"which killer is it gonna be?" "am I going to get tunneled?" "is he going to be toxic for no reason?" "I hope my teammates aren't potatoes..."

But most of the time, survivor is less stressful yh. When I play killer tho, the only thing that makes me anxious is if they are a 4man swf and if they r playing with intentions to "bully" me. Regarding gens, I have perks that allow me to protect them and to inform me which gen I'm potentially going to lose, and prepare in advance, which doesn't make me much stressed when I lose a gen.

About keys, yh, I don't really like losing 2/3 people to hatch, if I lose all of them (requires them to do all gens) I don't mind, and if only one of them escapes, I mind much less, I usually give hatch to the last guy anyway

  • @nursewannabe said:

Title: what do you guys consider an 8 hooks 0 kill game? A win, loss, a tie or a draw?

Personally I consider it a tie. It's not a draw because survivors obviously didn't lose, but I don't feel like I lost myself, especially if the game started well for either side but then the other recovered.

If u had fun I consider it a win.

Apart from the fun factor, what I do, or don't consider a win depends on the map and the team. Having in mind what u said tho, maybe a lost, but a good one cause the game was probably interesting.

I'd delete it... It's still pointless

I actually like threads like this, that are basically small talk about some things regarding the game.

Usually this forum is full of complains, bias and toxicity, so I do appreciate when I see relaxing discussing threads.

    @CLAUDETTEINABUSH said:

The second time I write this since the last one got deleted for no reason before I post this, so here we go.

The title is kinda misleading, since I don't wanna complain to the devs on how their game is unbalanced or something, instead I wanna argue with the community on my opinion about certain aspects of the game. If you want to join, feel free.

    So here we go.

1st: The mori change is well deserved. In my opinion, offerings shouldn't change the outcome of the match dramatics, skill should be the deciding factor. If someone brings a map offering, or a hatch spawn offerings, both sides can adjust their strategies and adapt based on what they got. Moris on the other hand, didn't really require skill to use. If you simply tunneled one survivor, you'd have an easy kill and they could do nothing about it. Making it 2 hook, it will just be like a good send-off to an already dead on hook survivor.

2nd keys will and should be changed. Having the ability to 4man escape through hatch is absurd. The killer is forced to adjust their whole strategy to counter that one key user. Even if they dominate, they'll have to worry about hatch escapes when they closed the hatch, meaning they'll have to watch 2 exit gates and the hatch in order to win. I do enjoy the aura reading add-ons tho, I think that this add flavor to the key and it should keep doing that.

3d Freddy is boring to play against and I'm glad he's being nerfed. Freddy is extremely easy to play and he's extremely boring. Looping against him is extremely unfun since he can spam shares without having to worry about anything and can teleport to gens. Forever freddy is also extremely boring. Freddy, nurse, survivor doing gens and truck simulator, which one is different? If you chose truck simulator, you're wrong. The correct answer is nurse, cuz she required you to use your brain (a cookie on whoever got the reference)

4th the most effective strategy on the twins is to camp. You can be in 2 places at the same time, so you can apply pressure while you camp. The design of the killers is extremely good, promoting on the other hand isn't.

5th spirit deserves a nerf. As an ex-spirit main, it pains me to admit it. But spirit deserves a nerf, they have little to no counterplay on chase and she just requires you to have good headphones. The only possible counterplay as survivor, except 50/50s, is to detect the undetectable. Hearing her footsteps and moving grass is the only thing that gives away her position, which is extremely hard to notice in a high stake situation. Some perks do counter her, but having a build just to counter one killer isn't the best solution.

Lastly, killer is far more stressful than survivor. Mostly because it's a 4v1 and the killer has to both chase and protect the gens. As killer you have to worry about tons of things, oh what if they double back here, I need to commit/not commit on this chase, do they have a key?, Are they a swf?, This map isn't beneficial to my playstile, I'll need to reconsider my strategy. One gen left I need to commit or I'll lose, are they on my hex?,ect. On survivor the only stressful thing is the chase and it isn't as stressful as the killer ones.

Wow you really did spend 5 mins of your life reading this, have a cookie 🍪. If you wanna argue with me feel free to comment.

I agree with mostly everything but the killer being more stressful, and the keys.

I used to agree that killer is far more stressful, but now I can't say I fully agree, there's to much variables.

If I stick to my main, and a build I like, than I feel far more relaxed/comfortable playing killer, now if I play another killer and different build, it depends. If u play killers that have such an easy time during chase like nurse/spirit/deathslinger, and ure good with them, than it's also going to be a really relaxing game.

Regarding keys, I don't mind much 4man escape through hatch, and I don't think that even with the nerf that's going to change (since there's an achievement with that). I do mind the other "more than 1, less than 4" escape through hatch, cause they completely negate the generators left to do.

    Heal.

    Jump in a locker.

    Travel in pairs.

    Understand that corners exist.

If you do any of these 4 things, Victor's 1v1 is now completely useless.

Ahm, soloq. Just that really, soloq. All of them, except for the corner one, depends on ur teammates even more than it usually does in regular gameplay.

If ure in a swf tho, yh sure

  • I always played both sides more or less the same, and used to agree with u.

Now tho, I think killer is more relaxing since I have the control, and I main Clown, so it isn't about using an "overpowered" killer

I feel anxious every time I go play survivor now "will the killer tunnel me?" "will my teammates suck?" "am I going to face a killer with lose-lose chase situation?" idk...

While playing killer, my only concern is if I'm going against 4 man swf, not because I want to win, just because I don't wanna get "disrespect" and "bullied". I don't even mind keys that much, they annoy me but never enough to put moris(saying these even before moris nerf) or dodge

So, by your justification, If I run over, then decide to leave you on the hook because I think it's "fun". You're ok with that?

Yh, I just answered the other guy which said the same thing, it's a game, u do whatever makes u have fun, just don't pretend u find it fun when ure clearly mad about it

  • @keygun said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1799643#Comment_1799643

But it's fun leaving people on hooks after they embarrass themselves. Don't take it so seriously? Isn't it fun for you to hang out on hook?

If u find it fun, go for it, but I doubt u would find it fun and then create a post about it. Look, I don't really like it either, since I like running deliverance, but, when it happens (which is rare), I find it more fun than annoying

  • Come on, don't play dumb, for some, it's fun attempting the 4%. If ure really going to use perks that require u to unhook someone, say it in the before chat, it exists for some reason, if they're console (or ure the console one), we'll too bad, blame that on behavior

Good advice, but if I can't lead by example, I have to lead by punishment.

Punishment? Toxic only creates more toxicity behavior, that's why this game is mostly how it is right now, why not try to point it out for the survivor in the end chat?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1799623#Comment_1799623

Imagine taking a game so seriously that a few points for unhooking yourself is worth the lol's of potentially screwing over another players depending on their perks so you can have a laugh.

There's nothing there about taking the game serious. Most people that try to kobe don't even do it for the points, just for fun, do u know what that is? I understand that it can be a little bit rude, but u guys r going way too far on leaving people on the hook, that just makes u so much worse than most of this toxic community, seriously.

  • Imagine taking a kobe in your face this personal... This community is so stupid and sad, makes it look like I'm playing with a bunch of kids the entire time. Now anything is toxic, ffs grow up and try to keep ur calm, learn how to enjoy life and take things the funny way, jeez, it's just a game #########

Sorry that happened. I had a post last night that also simply disappeared because it didn't post correctly. But what do you mean run back at him? Because then he hits you. That's the entire problem with his power, is that he can cancel it quickly into M1.

Before the changes, he could cancel it and hit u right after, he can’t anymore, there’s a cooldown to it, so, ure able to run back at him, wait until he cancels/misses his power, and go back to drop the pallet, as I said tho, he needs to be already close to u. I’ve been able to pull this out quite a few times (haven’t went against a ph that many times, but till now it has been consistent). I also play a lot of ph and can confirm that a survivor can force u to cancel ur power and gain a few more time/distance in a loop, bc i can’t m1 right after!

  • It also depends on the region tbh. Where I live, survivor queue times are instant in the morning/afternoon and at night killer queues are the insta ones.

I can see where u r going that killer is stressful, but if u play a killer u like with a reliable build that u also like it should be fine. I play both roles almost equally (I do play survivor a little bit more, because I don’t have yet all the builds I want for killer) and find both relaxing.

  • So... I wrote a full paragraph about this and sent it and it doesn’t show to me so I’m just going to say the same thing but try to keep it short.

if he is already to close to u and ure reaching a pallet and he starts to use his ranged attack, run back at him, he will have a difficult time hitting u with the power so he either tries and fails, or cancels it, then u should have enough time to go back to the pallet and drop it (this only works if he is really close to u and ure reacting as to be on point)

if u still have some distance, either pre drop it, or loop him until u get close enough to do what said above. By the time u drop a pallet most will try to spam his power, try to keep in mind that his turning isn’t fast so try running to one side and then the other, he will have a harder time turning and then his power becomes more predictable.

with windows, I’m not entirely sure of what u can do, since u don’t have enough time to fake a vault and then vault it, but atleast u have now counterplay with the pallet situation.

I honestly prefer this version of ph then the bs no cooldown faked power, where u would die at windows and pallets in whatever situation (like ds)

  • @Mooks said:

you kinda just played the game strategically in that situation though.

they all had flashlights, so it’s fine to assume they are gonna try to try flashlight save. So then you slug. Nothing wrong with that.

it would be different if you were treating the next bunch of survivors in the next match this way, but reacting to their playstyle is totally fine.

I was going to say that he slugged them for 4min for no reason after all of them being downed wasting their time, but no, you’re right (I read the op post wrong) so yh, he just played strategically

  • just saying, u don’t “fix” toxicity with toxic behaviour, so I get why op felt ashamed, bc he gets that. They deserved to lose, they lost, just end the game, that’s it

  • Welp, this turned into a ds+ub vs undying+ruin bs where bias show more than actual knowledge about both sides, which is absolutely disgusting, but okay. Just saying, ds+unbreakable is disgusting but at least lasts ''only'' for a minute(its a lot, but comparing to undying+ruin, its not anymore), undying+ruin can last for the entire game or until where it doesnt even matter if you dont have it anymore because the course of the match is usually already decided. The only condition of this combo to be working is undying not getting broken, which the perk itself alright as a direct counter for it even if the totem is not being broken (amazing design), this would be kinda okay if solos were buffed in some good way.

Also, if you guys think the game should be balanced around bs things like ds+unbreakable then ure delusional, ds+unbreakable should have been nerfed long ago, and undying should take a serious look into it, cause games ending at 4/5 gens isnt fine (not really my case, but ive seen it too much), even old ruin was better.

Also ''killers have been dealing with ds+unbreakable for years'' thats some hatred and poor way of thinking but okay... Anyway, dont blame survivors for that, blame the devs, i mean, survivors have the option to use it, and they chose to, and thats okay!! Using something that's in game is okay, u payed the game and u choose what u wanna do when playing it, and, if a killer decides to use undying+ruin its okay, its on the game they payed for! The problem is that those things are on the game and thats on the devs to blame, because they shouldnt be in the first place lol and thats what this discussion should be about

it was easier tbh hitting great skillchecks was never hard

True and that even had 2 direct counters to it, toolbox with the addon that removes skill checks and stake out (and maybe brand new parts on some way)

  • @Midori_21 said:

Just had 2 games as Blight where both totems got cleansed right off the bat, leaving me with just tinkerer and barbecue. But yeah, nerf undying.

Ure talking about a unlikely scenario, they both got cleansed early? Unlucky, that combo is really strong, it’s literally high risk high reward, just as any hex build, but undying almost takes that high risk off (but it still exists and it’s more than fair). That makes this combo much reliable bc in most scenarios undying gets cleansed after a few totems have already been done, and by that time, considering u have tinkerer too, a lot of survivors have been already hooked and there’s still 4/5 gens to go, u find that fine?

  • Ruin and undying is not okay and is much stronger than ds + unbreakable imo, but ok

Detectives hunch is not a counter to ruin and undying cause u NEED to finish one gen first (which with this combo is already hard if the killer is half competent and knows how to pressure gens, or has tinkerer), u need to pay attention to the totems localizations and not be chased.

Small game could be a good perk against this, but it still sucks, (and so does detectives hunch) because the counter to this build as a direct counter to it, which makes no sense. Undying saves ur ruin and gives u free aura reading, even on doll totems, EVEN if the survivors are not doing them, u see the aura if they walk past one, wow

Each totem takes 14 seconds to do, and, with ruin + undying, if u get truly lucky u have to waste at least 28 seconds doing both + some other seconds which is the time it takes u to find them, this of course, if u don’t get interrupted.

And no, tinkerer doesn’t work only on good mobility killers, not anymore, and with ruin, it doesnt matter if u get to the gen at 95%, because, as long as u get there, it’s fine, u won’t lose the gen.

I believe that the best strat against this is just gen rush, sit on different gens and hold m1 till u can’t anymore, or, hard stealth until u get rid of a couple of bones (but the aura reading being a thing, u might get caught doing so), also don’t forget to do doll totems if u get across some of them i guess.

Anyway, if u think this combo is okay throw it on clown and see how much wins in a row u can get

  • I would love if it worked with deliverance. When it first came out I thought they would work together and got hyped, for no reason obviously.

Ik for a fact that people think that would be too strong, but I think it wouldnt be that strong. It requires u to unhook someone safely and also fully heal a teammate. If that still makes it too strong, then they could make it so u get broken for 60sec (bc of deliverance) plus 30s of second wind, thats 90sec of being broken, so I think thats more than a fair and not op combo that way.

If someone wants to Kobe in your face, and has therefore wasted your time when you were doing gens, it’s them being selfish. If you’re not a team player, don’t expect others to be your safety crutch is all

and if it’s an achievement, run deliverance...

I don’t think people do that in that way, like I said I find it fun if they do kobe, and there’s people who find it “exciting” for trying to kobe, like a gamble, but without risking getting in struggle. That kinda of people usually just try to kobe when they know it’s safe to, even if they fail (which means, in order’s “faces” as u said).

If they do kobe, nice, whatever, it’s always a surprise to kobe, no one does it thinking that if they do get the 4% they will waste ur time, they just do it because they find it fun and they’re trying to have fun in a game, and not trying to take it all in a serious and stressful mission.

If you guys find it bad etiquete and leave them on the hook until they get to 2nd stage it’s pretty much the same and u end up maybe losing even more bp for compromising the rest of the game, and end up also wasting time to do the all precious gens.

Idk if I’m sounding rude, I’m not trying to, and if I do sound rude, I’m really sorry

  • Isn’t there a steam “achievement” about kobeing 100 times or something like that tho? I don’t mind when people do it, if they do Kobe in my face I actually find it funny and stand still surprised in front of them, to process what happened, and them proceed to heal him/her.

I honestly don’t know how u guys get mad, Ik getting bp as survivors is frustrating and all, but let’s not forget that this is a game and games are supposed to make u have fun.

  • I mean, the perk was better than bbq, I’m all ears and nurses together. There’s a reason to why all of them require something to active them.

Compound twenty-one was a constant bbq that could be used anytime and around the entire map since blights movement is just overall amazing (and it’s a green addon, idky)

The new compound description seems good still, the only difference is that it isn’t “boosted” anymore, u actually have to think and predict survivors placements to be to use it effectively. Considering that it’s really easy to patrol gens thanks to his speed, u could get a lot of aura reading, since survivors basically see u coming out of no where probably not going further than 8 meters from the gen.

I do agree tho that his POV should be higher, but that’s a bug right? He is so tall to survivors and the description about him says the same, but then we have something that feels shorter than hag

  • I agree that spine chill could use some nerf, but something minor, like nerfing a little bit the range. Nerfing it anymore than that would just kill the perk and make it a baby survivor perk, therefore making the meta more current than what it already is.

And as someone stated early, having spine chill doesn’t mean ure “unstalkable”.

Maybe. If they did that though it'd have to be one with multiple power combinations and tricks up their sleeves. What's this killers new power? "He can uh, sit in a locker the whole match." :|

Maybe someone that can travel through lockers. Weaponized hidey holes.

Yh of course, a killer with only that perk would be laughable, like, I actually laughed at ur example. Travel through lockers isn’t a bad idea either

  • @Heartbound said:

I mean that's the point. You're giving up map pressure for a gimmick that requires a survivor to snuggle up next to your locker. It makes lockers scary. It makes lockers unsafe. Where is the killer? I remember last match when Trapper made me brown my pants. What if...

No yeah, it is a nice idea for sure, but Idk if it being a perk would be a good idea, bc u can’t visually fit clown/oni/(whatever) in lockers, in order to make that work for every killer they would have to do a lot of changes. Maybe a new killer with a side effect like that would work?

  • That sounds funny, but wouldn’t work as a perk. Imagine oni getting in a locker for example. Nope

Pyrimid head needs a cooldown between his two abilities survivors can't loop a pallet because he fakes and gets you because you don't throw down the pallet or you do throw it down and he hits u with is other ability no counter for survuvor.

I think he’s fine, when he uses his power when ure running in a straight line u don’t need to “dodge” anything bc most of the time it’s a bait. If they really use their power u still have a bit of time to react and dodge, and if he misses then u have brought urself a bit more of time.

The only one who needs some kinda of cooldown, or something like it, is deathslinger imo, his quick shots are to fast to have any kind of reaction.

  • No, people are trying to make others angry in the forums without any reason, killers and survivors mains are doing. Don’t pretend this is people suggesting builds, ur was, the other 2 aren’t. This is just stupid, this forum was already a bit bad filled with stupid complains and now it seems worse, I don’t get it

  • Wth is going on on this forums lately?

Yes, I am gonna run franklin’s every match JUST in case a survivor gets a key from a chest

I mean, isn’t everything on this game like that?

Hate spirit? Bring iron will, even tho there’s 19 other killers on this game

    Hate doc? Calm spirit

    Hag? Urban evasion

The same for both sides, it’s kinda of a bet, but whenever someone complains about something specific this r the answers given. I think finding keys in chests is okay, the problem is the key herself and the game changing it applies, but keys are already being reworked so... yh, after the rework maybe keys in chests won’t affect u guys that much

  • There’s more scenarios regarding BT, like saving someone being camped while the doors are opened. I don’t see any problem in this situation even.

Sure, the guy that got unhooked and has BT will be out anyway, but u can make an exchange with the one that unhooked, and even if he was healthy, all u have to do is hit him before and after the safe, boom, u got a down and somebody else to secure a kill, it’s not that hard.

  • I don’t really hate spirit, but I find her quite “boring”? The fact that survivors can’t really loop doesn’t bother me, and I dont think it bothers survivors mains as much as ure all saying it does.

Look at nurse, I find her really fun to verse, even if I get completely demolished by her, she’s literally the funniest killer to go against, and I know there’s a lot of other people that also think like me.

What people don’t really like about spirit is the fact that standing still is a mindgame, that u don’t know if she’s phasing or not. I don’t really mind that tho

what actually bothers me is the fact that one of her downsides, her normal speed being slower than most killers, is basically nonexistent since she can use her power for like half a second to keep up to u, u get what I mean? The fact that she can use her power whenever she wants is confusing to me, why not make it like legion so that u can only use it when fully recharged? That would also make “standing still mindgame” easier to tell if it’s fake or not, and actually make her downside an actually disadvantage.

Imo, everything else about her is fine (I’m only talking about her base kit, spirit with stridor is another thing since the problem is more towards the perk I guess)

    It's holding the game hostage...

Y'all The reason Shenochek is fighting the facts so hard is that he was in the game as one of the two survivors.

Yeah I can’t see any other possible reason

For all we know you refused to look for them. I can't believe anyone can be that bad at finding survivors. Perhaps they should have reported you for AFK?

ahm, everyone already explained to u and gave u facts that what they have done is reportable and u keep saying nonsense after nonsense... like, who hurt u? Are u ok?? Are u one of this amazing people who like holding the game hostage? What’s wrong with u?

  • I get that by locking skins they can get creative and stuff and ok, but like clown’s weapon and Jane’s head for example makes nonsense being locked with the rest, imo.

They could make it so in both situations, if u equip the top of this cosmetics it would also equip the lower one, since they would look weird separated, and then leave the killer’s weapon and survivor’s head to the owner of the account to choose from.

I don’t see what would be the problem, unless they wanna do a complete different person like they did with Lisa, in that case, I understand everything being locked.

  • ...okay, do u actually believe that the hatch exists with the only purpose of giving survivors a 2nd chance? If u do, then think about it a little more plz ffs.

Hatch doesn’t exist only to give survivors a 2nd chance, but also to prevent holding the game hostage.

Like, imagine if the hatch didn’t exist. The most common situations where the hatch appears is the one where 3 survivors died and there’s 1 left, with gens still left to do. In this situation, do u actually think that this last survivor will try to do gens? The last survivor would either be an actual fair player and continue his objective (even tho he would 99% die) or he could just hide until he gets spotted just to make ur game last forever, or he could do in between. U guys need to start thinking a little bit more than just “the game is survivor sided” (even tho it is)

Hatch is a mechanic added so that the game isn’t prolonged until oblivion. And noed being base kit bc of hatch existing is just beyond stupid, hatch existence is doing a favor to both sides, for one it gives them a second chance and for the other one the relief that the game will actually end like it’s supposed to.

Also ure not forced to slug, if u really want the 4K sure, u do u, but 3k is already an absolute win.

(of course Im not considering keys cause they were not the situation u were talking about I presume)
