Or go out of their way to stomp 3 v 1's (One DC's straight away, quite common).

You take this silly party game way too seriously. You don't have to let anyone go, but holy ######### at least give them a game. Most of the time it'll end up being people slugged to prevent saves so you can secure your ez pz win. Queues are bad, this game is imbalanced in so many ways, please just try to make this fun for everyone, including yourself.

If your definition of fun is absolute domination of those hopelessly under you then I do think this game isn't for you. There are other competitive games that reward you for having this kind of mindset.

Also, a strange remark, but it mostly tends to be Spirits, Freddy's and Huntresses that sweat the most in these situations. Not really telling of anything but that's been my experience.

There's no way to tell the difference between a swf and solo queue until a few minutes into the game.

I have to say it...Why do they insult me after a game? I know what it feels like to lose but they exaggerate so much for a game, just because I win and I have a killer power and the survivors don't? A few moments ago I played a game where I knocked down, I hung up, I haven't raced, I haven't tunneled with a trapper and they still get upset because I win, They began to say things to me and you could tell that it was a premade, I also had a game where I lost and they made me t-bags, flashlights, they pointed at me and commented nonsense in the chat, but that did not affect me so much, if I make a comparison with a minecraft game like sky wars, many say gg and not They get upset but in dead by daylight gentlemen, it is where hatred, mockery and desperation to win abound... This publication is not like a complaint but like a kind of criticism, besides I have 580 hours of gameplay and I have learned a lot to play this game, with the basic mechanics etc. but never in my life have I seen so many complaints and comments for a simple game

    Do you play on console?

Didn't they themselves say not to draw conclusions from the stats?

I agree with your last point. I don't like that the devs hoard information.

But you cite a contradiction. They say don't draw conclusions to the community, but in the same stream Ethan explains their decision making by way of stats.

The breakable walls are clearly soft nerfs for killers. These nerfs are coming after showing the whole community that across all ranks, killers generally tie or win. I don't think it's far fetched to draw a line between these two points.

Was that the same stream that Ethan said survivors carrying OoO typically don't survive, so there's no reason to rework it?

  • @chieften333 said:

Autohaven now has breakable walls in PTB, and the devs have still ignored the criticisms about them. Specifically by Putting them in loops that were perfectly fine without them. Essentially creating godloops or infinites in the process.

I will say the breakable walls in gas heaven garage aren't terrible, they create multiple entrances and mess with the usual loop there.

The devs have shown that they take data to be the only reliable information to base balancing decisions on. On average across all ranks, a little over two survivors typically die in a trial. So they are looking for soft nerfs for all killers. That's why they have breakable walls that create infinites.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, considering how much people despise legion. But he is honestly one of my favorites, and is easily top 10 best killers in the game.

Here are some things he can do that make him so good.

He can Injure everyone within the first 30 seconds of the match. He can keep everyone injured during the entire trial, which can be dirty with certain perks. He can detect everyone in his Terror Radius when in his power. He can stall the game the best out of all killers. He moves at 4.6 m/s. Can get around the map decently quick. And keeps survivors healing the entire game, which makes Gen rushing extremely difficult if the right player is playing Legion. And sense everyone is always injure, he just has to hit you once. So if you are pretty much insta down for the entire trial.

Do you think he is weak and why?

I'm new, green ranks. I give survivors, sometimes even red ranks, a lot of problems with him. If I run Undying, Ruin, Sloppy, and Thana, his power is very annoying for everyone (including me) to deal with. He has built-in detection, built-in slowdown, built-in chase. The ONLY thing he lacks is lethality. I think he isn't more widely enjoyed because, well, he isn't fun.

I'll make it as brief as I can. I considered this game flushed of intentional toxicity as of late. I've been playing with crossplay on, crossplay off, swf, solo, the whole enchilada. Generally i've been seeing a lot of fun games with equally skilled players, close shaves, and crucial decision making that makes the game as fun as it's ever been.

    When I'm a survivor.

With the same restrictions to who i play with (or lack thereof), i have been seeing a massive, MASSIVE spike in BMing from the other side. As a (Rank 8) killer, I've had 1 game with ranks comically lower than me, 3 games with "actual" equal ranks (more on that in a sec), and the rest, about 15 give or take, have had 2 or more red ranks. Idk how many of them were swf, but i'd wager a majority of them have been.

As for the ranks similar to mine, 5 out of the 8 of them had smurfs (this was with crossplay turned off), and the remaining 3 were completely normal and respectable survivors. But dear god, the red ranks. They T-bag after every pallet, swarm a hooked survivor (if i can even manage that) while preparing to flame me for "camping" a survivor with all 3 others in view trying to bait me, run around and moonwalk at gate knowing i cant get them, flame me when i dont pick up the Laurie crawling towards me trying to DS, flame me when i cant get them, and even, when all 4 of them escape handily, flame me for playing an overpowered and terribly-designed-for-the-survivors-experience killer (deathslinger).

Genuinly what gives? I play as normal as possible, i dont go out of my way to tunnel or camp and just follow the first person i see, i dont guard gens like a prison warden, i dont nod my head wildly or hit on hook, hell they'll do all this before ive even theoreticly had a chance to bm.

Not to MENTION i KEEP GETTING INDOOR MAPS but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also just as a side note ive seen the "rank doesn't matter" argument so much and, as a killer, it does. If you go against a red rank team as a purple rank you will lose. if you go against purples as a green you will lose. if, as a survivor in red ranks, one member is a purple, yeah it doesnt. But, as a killer, if the one red rank always escapes, or if you do ######### against reds but good against whatever you are, then yeah, it matters. Plus i mean only reds say rank doesnt matter but thats beside the point.

So what are youre thoughts/exps? Blanket statements like "well ive been camped" "yeah survivors suck" and the basic counters aside, of course. These are just my experiences, i just feel theyre too unyielding for it to just be a series of bad matches.

    Are you on x box?

When I say a killer is boring, I mean that something is repetitive, or that my skill and knowledge of the game doesn't matter. If that is the context of what you mean inconvenience then you are correct. But I don't think that's what you mean. Getting destroyed by a good nurse is ok with mean, and at that point it's not an inconvenience, it's just me getting destroyed, and the nurse having a better understanding of how the killer works and has more skill than me. Meanwhile say for Clown, it doesn't really matter how good you are, as long as the killer doesn't suck ass, if you do not drop the pallet at a loop and he plays it somewhat right, he will hit you, which will result in you having to pre drop pallets against him in most of his chases. That's just an example. Against Freddy that slugs everyone with slowdown addons is boring because you're literally not doing anything. It's (almost) the same principle in a chase with deathslinger. Nothing you do really matters so at this point you're just kinda playing a cutscene until you go down. Also this is in the context that the deathslinger knows what he's doing. I agree getting slugged by a freddy with slow down addons is 10 times worse than what I'm stating, but what I'm trying to say is that the reason I find these killers boring is that nothing I do feels like it matters because I either am doing the same thing every time which gets boring for almost anything , or that my decisions don't feel like they matter.

    You're repeating Scott.

    Serious question.

I've found more and more, my games are won or lost within 5 minutes... and more and more, I find myself not even bothering to waste time kicking gens. Each game I play seems to depend on me being able to snowball - it doesn't matter what happens with gens, whether I get 3 hooks before they complete 1 or 1 hook when they complete 3... the only thing that matters is winning 1 chase, preferably quickly, while chasing them to the right part of the map where they have to choose between gens and rescuing, and then forcing trades.

In light of this, kicking gens feels like a waste of time.

Am I misplaying this? How do killers feel about the current pacing of the game at present. As a note, I typically don't run gen regression, as I don't have Pop (though I'm working on it, got Clown this weekend) or Undying. Without Undying, Ruin always goes quickly as savvy survivors Ruin check their gen and quickly make finding it their priority. So, I recognize I'm essentially playing with 1 hand tied behind my back already.

If 2 are 3 stacked on a gen and they're desperate to get this particular gen done for some reason (chase 1 or 2 off and the other stays, then everyone keep coming back), I'll take advantage and kick the crud out of it with or without pop. Generally gets me at least one down. With Brutal this is particularly effective.

Conversely, if I chase a solo off a gen at the beginning, get a hit, but can't commit to the chase, I'll kick that gen. Often the survivor won't come back and it'll fully regress.

  • @Chappy04 said:

so when i play killer i play with fun builds and play slightly worse killers that make it challenging against better players. this happens with console and pc so dont make that point. i see every 3 to 4 games that a survivor will go down because i outplayed them or they flat out made a mistake and then they will then just kill themselves in hook like why. u have messed up the other 3 teamates, lost out on a match against a non sweaty killer and have made the killers experience less rewarding. if any of you are like this, could i at least get a fair reason that isnt I DONT CARE.

for the record, i play legion, pig, bubba and slinger mostly with a sprinkle of clown somewhere

For the record, contrary to the tierlists of hotshots like Otz and Scott, Pig's one of the most dominant killers in the game. Her skill cap may not be incredibly high, but the evidence shows casuals can pick her up and reliably get 2k+ per match.

  • @ALostPuppy said:

I don't know anyone who likes playing against Legion, Slinger or Clown so...Idk lmao. The survivors you're playing against are probably sick of these killers and just don't wanna play against them, they're played a lot. So this is what they do instead of DCing because that would give them a penalty.

Clown is fun for everyone involved.

  • I play Trapper when I want to have a chill game. He's low-risk, high-reward. If they add two traps to his base, the expectations for his performance will change, and I don't want that.

Agreed. I'd actually left this post alone, but it seems like Behavior's pretty actively censoring the community? I think an open letter to a third party like gamasutra or something similar could get more lasting results.

So the game is caught in a limbo of frustrated players trying to have fun with the product they bought. Not a very good game if you ask me.

This is what these cheap games (like league of legends) use to bring in money. Addiction tactics. Thank you for bringing this to the forums! The matchmaking in this game is another lie by the developers; there will be no such thing as a functional and fair matchmaking system as long as swf exists. It is impossible with the skill difference. That makes the player feel like they don't belong in their red ranks, so they keep coming back. Just like you said: exploiting the player's neurochemistry.

I am sorry to say that most of the players are too narrow-minded to care to understand and some ignore every problem in this paid game. It's very hard to unite against developers in a single game, and particularly this game as long as people hate the other side (as intended by the developers like you said).

This discussion will very likely be closed and regarded as organizing an attack, but in reality it's revealing the truth.

We should write a letter to Behavior.

Every game let's be honest almost every multiplayer game has it's leads to anger.I do you see you're point because, I find myself more induced with anger during a match, but it doesn't matter what game you get on there's toxic people. Me and my brother decided to play Fallout 76 for the free weekend and some guy followed us around a bit and went so far as to dressing in the outfit my brother had on. Even on xxxxx multiplayer games theirs some hacker or a guy who is obviously boosted developers kid got a special code whatever. You'll get you're kick on whatever game you're interested in or find fun.I mean look how long the last of us has been around and those guy's ######### cheat or they using exploits, but do you hear anyone complaining about those games leave DBD alone. Just talk about the ######### that needs to be fixed.

You're right. All of the games could be different.

What if I enjoy the game and dont tend to get mad?

    That's awesome for you.

  • I 3-4k pretty consistently on Midwich no matter which killer I'm using. Mobility killers can zoom around the long hallways, chase killers can shut down the mostly unsafe pallets, stealth killers have a lot of weird angles to peer around. I think they have Midwich right tbh.

  • @BabyBubz said:

We all know that DBD has many problems that need to be resolved. Gens speed, perks, some killers, graphic, fps drops and so on. Otzdarva made a video about this topic, but after watching it I got a question about how would players change the game, if they had a chance. Beside some obvious issues, what would you like to see, rework? Or maybe add some new mechanics?

Feel free to share all you thoughts and ideas :)

Imo the problems are high level.

The design strategy is to get players engaged by making them frustrated.

We play the game for the challenge of a fair match, not the hopeless feeling of being sent to Ormond as a Trapper, or as a solo queue survivor mori'd on Midwich.

I want them to start a sequel with this in mind and end support for this version asap.

  • @PyroGL said:

Anger and frustration in DBD largely stem from two main places (in my opinion). One is from the game not functioning as expected. This takes many forms, but is mainly through bugs or latency. Very few multiplayer games I have played have generated the number of bugs/latency issues than I have seen in DBD. I'm not sure how the community could (or even should) rally around this. I understand that bugs are not intended, and that we got dedicated servers, but from the feedback i've seen, dedicated servers have not solved a lot of the latency issues that plague the game.

Second reason for frustration comes from the feeling of helplessness from situations you are put into during a match. Things like being hard camped, while technically is a losing strategy for killers, does not compensate the camped survivor. They do not get "distraction" BP or emblems for being on the hook with the killer near by, and it is certainly not engaging gameplay to watch everyone else do things while you are stuck on a hook. On the flip side, killers are expected to generate pressure on 4 different survivors simultaneously, often in 4 different places at the beginning of the match, often losing a gen or two within their first or second chase. These are just examples, but this frustration comes from a core game design element that, as you say, is basically a feature within the game. I don't agree that frustration should be the reason we unite. We should unite around mutual enjoyment of the game.

That makes sense. I think if a bunch of people wrote a letter to the developers and articulated their love for what the game could be, about the want to have more mutual enjoyment that'd be really smart and good.

But does mutual enjoyment motivate change? It might be the opposite, right? If something is good, why change it?

Conversely, when a survivor main gets hard camped, they want it to stop: they retaliate in game, send a nasty message in the chat, write a post about balance, write a post about a perk, take a break from the game.

My only point is that anger should be redirected in a considerate way toward the devs, who have designed a game with the intent of making that player frustrated.

The reason I ask if your new is you could have a lot of playtime but just recently made an account on the forums or you could be using an alternate account.

I'm not a designer but in my opinion making perks/powers that only work if the survivors don't feel like countering it usually means "It'll work on newbs but nothing else". Inner Strength is a pretty good healing perk and most people are going to look for totems for that. Experienced players even know where most totems can show up. I would not consider noed or any hex perk 2nd chance because it depends on the survivor's negligence. NOED can be removed before it activates, they just have to stop rushing gens and look for totems. DS on the other hand, the killer can do nothing to remove that. No matter what the killer has to play around it. He either has to wait 60 secs, slug or take the stun. That is a 2nd chance perk. There's nothing the killer can do that will remove DS from the match. "Don't tunnel" doesn't count because it is still buying that survivor a 2nd chance.

Undying is cool but it's has the same issue as running a hex perk with Thrill of the Hunt. Your spending 2 perks slots for 1 perk. Hex perks are risky because if they cleanse it your down a perk for the rest of the match. Running TOTH or Undying just feels like double downing.

No one mentioned it but Blood Warden almost could be considered 2nd chance if not for the fact most experienced survivors 99% the gates so it won't activate. Still hilarious when it goes off. They teabag at the exit, turn around and realize they can't get out /kefka laugh

I see your point. I've never run Blood Warden bc I don't have Freddy yet, and frankly he looks pretty boring to me!

At the risk being pedantic though, there are also killer-sided maps, right? Doctor on Lehrys is a nightmare. Billy on any of the larger maps if the tiles are okay. Etc. On these maps, survivors actually have to be incredibly efficient, and the first corner to cut is dull totems. And then, say there's 2 survivors at the collapse? If noed lights up the chances of a 4k spike significantly. So maybe it's a situational second chance perk.

I think what the devs want is a game that's balanced on average. If Nurse is in the game, Ormond must also be in the game. If a player can pick Nurse, a player can also pick Ormond. That part makes sense--unless you're a solo Dwight in Midwich against a Nurse, or a Trapper in Ormond against a SWF. For those 10 minute matches, the Dwight/Trapper actually is helpless.

Whether or not the devs have actually designed this level of frustration intentionally though is another question. A lot of the science around social media shows cycles of dopamine hits<-->abstention thereof causes addiction and further engagement with the platform.

  • @EvilJoshy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1691563#Comment_1691563

NOED is a hex perk. It can be removed before it ever comes into play. Are you new because there have been many many threads about how NOED is no where close to a 2nd chance perk. Nothing killer has comes close to the power of DS.

I have 22 posts. I'm also a designer. And there can be value in listening to outsiders bc a lot of the critiques legacies make of this game are herd mentality.

But it lights a previously dull totem, so if the killer isn't running undying, there's a good chance the survivors haven't been meticulous about doing dull totems.

It effectively transforms the collapse from a survivor afterparty to a mad dash for the hatch or gates so there's a sound argument to be made that it's functionally a second chance perk.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1690351#Comment_1690351

Name 1 2nd chance perk for killer that cannot be completely countered by the survivors.

Asymmetrical games often die. I still miss Evolve Stage 2. The game has gotten better but it's also gone backwards at times. However if not for the constant DLC, license characters and the fact there's hardly any competition I don't think DBD would have lasted as long as it has.

Noed is effectively a second chance perk: Oh you lost the game? Here, a first hit is now a down.

I don't often run noed bc I feel like it's cheating, but the survivors' counter for it, i.e. scrambling to find the lit totem at the end of the Trial, is much riskier than cutting losses and getting the heck out.

Nurse is beatable, because her mobility sucks on bigger maps.

But that's part of why balancing is so difficult for the devs, right? The only counter for the nurse is a big map ... But aside from the 2-3 killers who perform well on big maps, every other killer on the roster takes a nearly automatic if they draw mother's, Thompson, or Ormond.

  • @NursesBootie said:

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1690351#Comment_1690351

    Sure, but they aren't meta.

On killers who were already significantly top tier, they may get away with running other perks because they had the mobility to get across the map quickly and thus had less need for game slow down (Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Freddy). They could even use those perks to good effect, however, they were not the meta, and when they stacked game slowdown, it was still more effective.

There's a reason "Forever Freddy" got nerfed. Hard.

    That's fair.

  • @Chechia said:

I think that all in all the devs do a good job balancing.

Yeah. Seems about right. Who needs nurse if I can just walk with my cool lil' hag around Mother's Dwelling. Survivors will fear the pressure that my presence is radiating from far across the map.

Maps like mother's dwelling exist because killers like nurse exist. That's my point.

Survivor meta has always been stacking second chance perks.

Killer meta has always been stacking perks which slow the game down.

Tell me how does Undying change that? What Undying does is prolong the existence of Ruin -- a gen slowdown perk.

That's reductive. Perks provide awareness, help in chase, slowdown, and second chance just to name a few.

  • @Primalux135 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1689605#Comment_1689605

He meant survivor meta. Even changing killer meta there is no way of survs running small game or detective hunch. All exhaustion perks must be severely nerfed.

He didn't imply that but okay, does ruin undying change the survivor meta? There's a good argument to be made that it does. Maybe it doesn't flip a core ludic premise on its head in a satisfying way, but it does effectively stall the game, which is what killer mains had been calling for. If the pendulum swings toward killer mains, future survivor perks can become more powerful.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Still have nightmares of original MoM.

DS in its current state still gives me nightmares.

Don't forget that Ruin is now a late game hex game perk.

Or that the meta has remained the same since the game's release with nothing to really shake the gameplay up.

Hell, it's not even the balance or lack of it that is one of my greatest pet peeves. It's the fact the game literally does not function properly and breaks more and more with every content patch. Doesn't even matter if the game is balanced if it physically does not function properly.

The whole "If it's so easy, then you do it" is a strawman argument. As I always say, one does not need to be Gordon Ramsay to know that toast when it's burnt tastes bad.

All everyone is talking about is ruin undying. Undying entirely changes the meta, and it was released, what, a month ago? So the idea the meta hasn't been shaken up rings false.

Except the toast in this instance is an entirely new dish with 700 ingredients made by a new, underfunded chef.

  • How many asymmetrical online multiplayer horror games wherein each killer has a unique power and each new character introduces 3 new game-altering effects are you currently balancing?

It's not perfect, but I think everyone in the community underestimates how mammoth of a task this is.

I'll grant that they're probably using addiction-causing design strategies.

  • @YOURFRIEND said:

Hello. This post is going to be long and rambling, but hopefully coherent.

Dbd is my multiplayer game of choice lately. It's a lot more complex and fun than I have it credit for initially. I've really kind of fallen in love with it. I see a couple of issues with it though.

My thoughts on killer- typically I play a great deal of killer because the queue times are much much lower at night. I prefer survivor though because for some reason, it feels much less stressful than killer. I am rank 4 killer and I guarantee you I do not belong there. I play clown, trapper and legion. I am utterly trivial to loop, if you just run in a straight line and drop pallets you will lose me. It's insane that I'm against high ranks, I simply do not have map knowledge or mind game ability. Nearly everyone I play against is much better than me or that's how it feels. It's so easy to gain pips and so so hard to lose them. I've gotten two kills in a game and watched in horror as I got three pips at the ending screen. The only advantage to playing killer is that you get many more bloodpoints. I don't have any of the really good perks, I'm sitting here with agitation, Pop, brutal strength and whatever else most games. Against people with like 2000hrs in the game, four decisives, dead hards and Objects. Utterly miserable.

On survivor- fifty times less stressful and more fun than killer. Really not sure why. It feels like most of the game is chases and survivors just have a lot of agency in that regard.

Changes to the game? I'd give clown like +.5s on intoxication and 1+s on direct hits. It really lasts no time at all. Legion seems fine to me, maybe a slight increase in movespeed while frenzying. Trapper needs two traps as a default. Survivors need like +20% bloodpoints blanket. Killers +10%. The grind is really very terrible. Survivors should get an escalating multiplicative bonus for every second they're on hook within a killers terror radius, as consolation for getting camped and not getting to play the game.

Finally, people are very very rude in this game. I played dota for years and that game is famous for it's awful players and the people here are much worse. I've played vs. killers that put you on the ground and just let you sit there until you bleed out. One game I was a trapper with no add-ons(ran out) and the survivors dogpiled me in chat for...... using traps? One time three remaining survivors lined up at the gate and walked out at the same time and I got a good chuckle out of it. Thought it was really cool and told them so and they just lost their minds. Terrible insults. I try to adhere to the etiquette of the game, every other 4k I give hatch, if there's a player that's respectful and plays really well I'll let them go no problem. I don't camp, I literally turn my back and leave hook even when I know somebody is nearby because I want everybody to have fun. Then they inevitably teabag incessantly. It's just weird.

Well, thanks for reading if you've gotten this far. I guess it mostly ended up being complaining about rude folks. Oh well.

I totally agree w you. I'm also only a few months in, and the level of bile survivors feel entitled to spew at killers is disgusting.

Survivor is much less stressful because it's on the killer to create conflict. Without the killer DBD is generator simulator.

I try to respect the survivor handbook for killers. I only camp when it's the optimal decision, and I never tunnel.

Then survivors celebrate at the gates like they're MJ winning the finals after his dad was murdered. So strange.

I'm leveling up pig now because I want to try it, and I need a perk that helps me keep track of gen pressure but I don't know which one to pick! Maybe add discordance in there too?

It's good with ruin too. All you have to do is run the survivors off the gen, and then you immediately get feedback about what the survivors did next.

The thing is, when I run ruin, all the generators get done because I guess I Haven't learned yet how to pressure gens while doing a chase? It's kind of confusing to explain but I guess I should just start one-hitting and then going for a gen to scare the survivors off it?

Tru3 can be annoying, but a smart thing he always says is It's a 1v4, not a 1v1. A tricky part of the game is understanding when to drop a chase and get other survivors off their generators.

  • Love when ppl reduce the skills needed for killer play to this or that 1 thing. Just learn the maps ... Just pressure gens ... It's all tracking ... It's all counter-looping ... Remember it's a 1v4, not a 1v1

Taken as a whole it's basically an argument that the game is good and forces you to develop a wide set of skills.

I thought OP said they weren't posting this to whine and get sympathy?

Sharing a first person perspective not = whining.

Recently I had the best of luck ever on my life by finding my true love, after sad years with the low opportunities my sexuality caused me I found him in a DBD themed Discord server and can't believe that we live so close and how much luck I had with him since he's the perfect boy on every single aspect and I never imagined I could find someone like him specially in this game.

I give him BIG thanks because my playstyle from before can't be compared on what I learned while playing with him. All our matches are fun no matter what teammates or killers we get, and it doesnt consist in just the fact that we play together, the most important part is that WE DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING we are in this game FOR FUN.

I don't know about you but never before I had told myself "I'm launching Dead by Daylight for fun" and wow it looks so crazy now that I'm typing it. Everyone should remember why are they in this game, to have fun and not ruin others, and if others try to ruin your day, ignore them! There's gonna be a new match later which will make you forget about this one you just had.

Summary of my thoughts, just have fun, it literally is simole as thinking about it. Change your dirty play style if you play for ruining others' day because that just means something sad is inside you, fix it by having fun with the game instead, I've met amazing people here and had uncountable wholesome moments that make me remember 0 no-fun moment.

With this happy enthusiasm, I wan to end by saying thanks to the devs, for making the game, updating and adding more content to it, and the fact that they made it to make crossplay a thing has been the key change that helped me playing with my favourite person ever. And to the players, HAVE F U N!

And well just wanted to add a wholesome moment we had playing together this weekend :)

Sorry to hear about that, but here is some harsh advice for you that you need to hear... grow some thicker skin. It's the internet, so don't get too bent out of shape over some person's comment when they have no idea who you are and won't think for more than a split second about what they've said after they've said it....

Is this a millenial thing? (I am a millenial btw, but everyone seems to get offended by everything nowadays.. the gen-z/soccer moms would not have been able to handle old-school cod lobbies or UT2004 when people could spam you with a lot worse).

Not sure this person was asking for your advice

  • Well, he can traverse large maps better than any other killer in the game. I'm new, and I don't understand a lot of tiles and maps, but I consistently 2-4k with him just because I can beat players to spots and run them off gens.

Good. Hopefully you use that time to read books and improve your writing skills.

Making fun of someone whose first language might not be English makes you look very strong and powerful. Oh yeah very good retort skills. Can we get this guy a code for some bloodpoints please? He needs a reward.

I like the idea. The only problem is that BHVR is over DbD. The "base mechanic" of the game got changed without anyone testing it, and hooks are broken, again. I doubt anyone at BHVR would be able to fix anything, let alone, tweak anything without causing major problems.

I understand the old folks going, "but it apart of the game, go play Last Year," sure, change is scary, kill off Pyramid Head I guess. But on the other hand, something simpler than hooks is available, and could be a saving grace for this game.

Go ahead, @ me, I'm a Killer main that plays survivor only in SWF because randoms are useless. I just think more alternatives should be looked into, like Dorito-boy.

I like how you're thinking about this.

I've never been a part of a community that gripes so much about something they do several hours a day. At least you're thinking about productive solutions to design challenges rather than screaming "unfair" at the other side.
