  • Q: You know those matches where no gens get done but you escape through a hatch? Does that feel like a deserved escape? What about if you opened that hatch with a key. What about if it spawned right in front of you while chasing?

A: Yes, because I found it and "escaped", which is the final survivor objective. In that scenario the killer got a 3k, so yeah, nothing wrong with that and I don't bring keys because imo that's for wussies.

    -------------

Q: Alright, how about a killer getting a 4k purely because of noed, does that feel like an undeserved loss?

A: Yes, because for the same reason I don't bring keys, I also don't use NOED if i play killer, and as a survivor, I will NEVER give myself up to altruism and give the sweaty noed'er a 4k. and I also hit up every totem that I see, not only because its ez 1k points, but because I hate noed that much.

    --------------

Adrenaline.. yeah, its a huge "eff you" to the killer and I feel like its a huge must to survive , i've seen streamers countering it by dropping and whacking, I mean, seems valid and its a very nice counterplay.

As someone who plays survivors mostly, because of friends, I do feel like adrenaline is too strong, but do I want it out of the game? idk dude, it is funny to watch and it saves my azz.

I wouldn't mind if they removed it, but I can't say I don't love it.

Today I was playing a match which we were absolutely stomping a bubba, and all 4 were injured.

He was chasing 2 peoples (one was torturing him and the other straight up fleeing)

I finished the gen, both of them bolted to victory (because obviously 3 of us had adrenawin) and it was just really funny, I had fun, but I know that the bubba got really mad, because he was underperforming agaisn't monster survivors on a 7 minutes match, maybe 10.

Hatch, noed, keys? easily counterable or i could careless.

Adrenawin? i agree, its strong my dude.

  • Dude, that'd be really amazing.

  • I switched depending on my bloodlust/chill-o-meter.

  • There is already: Losing the game/depip or if its a hardcore "brb cats onfire" case, they have crows.

  • Nah, if you main killer, you'll get that indeed, which is why closing comments to strangers is a thing for dbd killer mains.

  • Honestly I just disagree with the rest of the post too, so I'd rather not upset by actually stating it but oh well here we are...

You say "the game would benefit" but we know you mean "the killers would benefit" from smaller maps. There already are big and small maps. and all the rest just sounds like you're one side biased.

  • I agree 99% with you.

But it does slows the game down on green or less ranks, because the survivors will spend time actually looking for it, some won't stop searching or won't touch a gen until they do.

Its a dummy totem for dummy players, but yeah, waste of perk slot agaisn't good survivors who will just burn through it by getting their great skill checks or just straight up ignoring it.

  • "My favorite games as killer have been games where I didn't take any slowdown or generator-focused perks"

There is your fast paced game, you already have it, just build the way you want it to be, lol, no need to force it down other peoples who prefers slower games.

  • none, theyre just catchup spread over the clothes. lol

  • As you said, t-bagging, dc'ing and I have to add, that "spamming flashlight clicks" is pretty toxic too, I don't do that because I know its basically saying "come and get me come and get me come and tryna get me"

  • That video is indeed sad; An average plague (ok killer) agaisn't below average survivors, not only got rekt but also probably a depip, because pipping up as Plague is not really a thing.

I honestly don't know myself how all that can be fixed, maybe adding more mechanics to gen repairing and a little more time to it would be more entertaining, or a primary quick objective to unlock gens, like maybe making all survivors grab a wrench before they can repair, or a few small 5s gens across the map to unlock other gens, idk, it a complicated matter.

But I do think that survivors are too strong, all my survivor matches so far today were a tbag at gate kind-of-matches, killers look like goofies near a decent team.

  • If survivors doesn't "genrush" (or straight up just finish gens) what else are they supposed to do?

break totems and search chests? boop the snoot? tbag the killer to get on chases?

  • Because if killers were strong enough to run without addons, addons would make them invincible.

  • Nurse, the chases agaisn't her are the most different from every other killer.

Second is billy, because that mofo is LETHAL and third is plague, because they're 99% bad and its just funny to see them struggling.

  • 2 months is honestly not enough to master the game and even less the killers who require mad gameplayz; Killers make more points than survivors, so eventually you will get the good perks. If you already have all DLCs, in a single day you can get all perks up to at least lv40 from a single character, so with 18 killers and 20 survivors in the roster, 2 months is probably not enough to get all perks from everyone, so just keep playing! Watch killer mains streams, like otz, fungoose, devib, these 3 play all killers and excel in most of their games and they answer everything you need to know, so yeah, keep playing :O!

eventually you'll realize that yeah, red ranks survivors are strong when they're in swf, but also altruistic, so you can maybe, abusive it , if you don't mind being a D.

  • I didn't read anything but I agree, on red ranks as suv , ruin is just a small stone and waste of perk slot, ranking up in this game is easy peasy lemon squeezy and is the game really supposed to be balanced around "ranks 15" ? lol

  • then don't play like a [BAD WORD]

  • Hard to decide between the smol nurse or the sexbomb Plague, but i'll go with plague because gigantic boobs.

  • Upset, because as a red rank survivor and a purple killer, ruin is not really a big deal.

Survivors matches are hella easy even solo and meaningless when I play with my friends who have also over 1k hours, even if you don't hit great skillchecks on ruin, it can still be burned through if you're in 2+ on the same gen and at 500h+ of DbD only, I can already hit my skillchecks, thus, making ruin useless, if I happen to stumble upon it, I break it just for the extra points, like I do with all totems, so yeah, if the point is to slow the game down a bit, it does the trick, if the point is to make us choose between taking someone off the hook or doing gens, then sure, good job.

  • If the killer is mean, they're a prick.

    If they're friendly, they're boring.

Oh boy, what are they supposed to do.

  • " Good survivors won't even bother healing against him and he essentially becomes a killer with no power."

For a moment I thought you were talking about plague.

  • Not a demo main nor really enjoy it but it has the best CHASE MUSIC.

Also its a big brains killer, which is nice.

  • I rarely use Moris, because I still need BPs, but obvious SWF with toolboxes, map and key are just asking for it.

  • jee, harsh.

I've been a "gamer" for 20 years now and I have yet to see a game or even websites etc, that doesn't face problems. chill bruh

  • Many games do that, maybe 2x wouldn't be fair in DbD, but 1.5? any kind of bonuses for us loyal players who will come back as soon as the servers are up and running , even if for a day or a couple hours :3

  • Two days ago I played a game on pig, that I did get 1k, agaisn't a streamer with his friends on comm.

I don't really think I am a bad pig player, and I like being challenged agaisn't SWFs, but when I saw it was a streamer, I went to his channel to check how many he were playing with, they were a team of 3.

I still wasn't scared enough to try my best, but these three played OPTIMALLY.

They were revealing my position and EVERYTHING I did, the WHOLE time, I felt REALLY underpowered, they were good sports, they didn't bother teabagging or anything toxic, they were serious tryhards, they only words were "She is doing this, she is here, chasing that, kicking gen, she has "x, x, x and maybe x" perk, HOW is that even supposed to be fair.

I honestly don't know how to fix that either, so I have nothing to say, but that particular experience agaisn't that streamer SWF, make me feel REALLY underwhelmed, and I knew that if I started playing dirty, as camping, tunneling, etc, it'd make me look bad in front of hundreds of peoples, regardless the fact that the SWF had a 100% revealing aura passive basically, on me.

How to fix it? I don't know, put a 3% slow on all swf members actions? increase gen timers? Idk, but even though it wasn't a fast match, and the only person I managed to kill was the "random", it wasn't MUCH fun, it was very pressuring.

  • Don't we all? DbD players are the real masochists, we get killed, tbagged, sacrificed, tortured, bleed to death and gen rushed, but we keep on trying to play every single time and we come back no matter what. 🤡

  • Now you can't even patrol gens without being flammed? wow.

Let's hope it doesn't become common practice; Unfortunately, I don't think SWFs can even be "improved".

  • Really wanna compare abandoning your friends ingame, ruining it not as much for the killer but for the survivors itself that now will have one less teammate, that left for being a bad player, to being abandoned in a lobby when the match hasn't even started? wow. come on my boy, you're better than that; Both the DC'er and the dodger are probably players who want easy wins, but both cases are far from being even matched.
