Hes a stronger version of xenomorph
-
Those swfs are pretty rare compared to 80+% of the player base and even than Theres killers to deal with those.

Don’t forget that you also get DC penalties for being tunneled now.
That explains a lot

My take is that people severely over exaggerate his strength. Calling him "Blight 2.0" is hilarious when Blight is still dramatically stronger than him in every way. He's a strong killer, but nowhere near the strongest currently and I don't see how that's a bad thing. Nobody wants to play more than half the killer roster because they're weak.
The only thing he needs in a fix to the "kidnap tech" bs where you literally freeze a survivor in place for a full second whilst fast vaulting and downing them for free. Otherwise he's in a great place. Hell you can even make his power work against him by giving him the choice in losing enrage or essentially giving you a bonus healthstate by deep wounding you when already injured.Otz has ghoul on s tier.
You also cant Crouch to avoid hits
-
You think weskers fun to play against? Id rather a blight or Billy. Than a sweaty wesker
-
I want Vader in dbd
-
He would go after the entity lol
-
Shards too.
But not for outfits
-
Going Next 1-30 matches???? ARE WE PLAYING THE SAME GAME????
more like 15-30 matches
Play more solo q
Also feel its rude to tell devs to play their own game.
This game aint easy to deal with
-
There aint that many horror anime especially popular ones.
Ill BE honest id cringe hard if i Saw dragon ball or One piece stuff
-
Huntress. Usually dc
-
Cant wait for a new b/c tier killer. Unless they give him teleportation
-
Cosmetics Will return to shop eventually lol.
This is such a weird thing. Forcing yourself to play something.
If the cosmétic would never return. Id get it.
Dbd is One of the ONLY games out Theres that doesnt have actual fomo. Well outsise of pinhead and even than.... Everything returns eventually.
If dbd hurts because you cant wait 1-2 years for a skin to come back... Maybe Dodge most popular shooters. Those colab stuff never returns

What i see most is Windows, lithe/DH , resi/fixated , dejavu/Bond tho lol

People who choose to play killer aren't magically better at the game than your average survivor. There are just as many mediocre killers as there are mediocre survivors, after controlling for the 1:4 ratio, obviously. Most players are average because they aren't professionals and shouldn't be expected to be professionals to have a rewarding gameplay experience. So if the escape rate is less than 50%, which it is by quite a large margin, this indicates that the game design itself favors killers, which it obviously does.
killrate 60% = winrate 50% (2k on average). With the current matchmaking, this basically means the game is balanced (even though with improved matchmaking killrates would surely drop by significant margin).
Escape rate of 50% would mean 50% killrate, which further means killer winrate going somewhere around 40-45%.
With this fact, average killer wins 50% of the time.
To turn around and then say the escape rate is low because most survivors are bad, completely ignores that most killers are just as bad, on average. But the OP game mechanics killers have at their disposal makes it far easier for mediocre killers to win against mediocre survivors. In other words, an intermediate survivor loses against an intermediate killer, most of the time. You need an expert survivor to consistently beat an intermediate killer in DBD. An expert killer will beat expert survivors most of the time, too. It is only a minority of elite survivors that can actually prosper against expert killers, and killers don't even face these teams very often because elite players are a tiny percentile of the player base. The balance differential is clearly evident in the absurdly long kill streaks that some killer mains have achieved, which is unheard of on survivor side, and unheard of in other popular PvP games that are sensibly balanced. The margin only gets smaller as you approach the very top of MMR, and even then, 4 man SWFs still escape less than killers.
game mechanics make it easier for mediocre killers to win against mediocre SOLOQ survivors.
Regarding expert survivors vs. expert killers, you are plain wrong, expert survivors will wipe the floor with majority of killer roster most of the time.
And please let's not talk about MMR where soft cap is so low that you can easily reqch it quickly, not to mention how matchmaking functions thanks to oversaturated soft cap level.
Regarding killer winstreaks, you literally have top <1% players winstreaking because their overall game knowledge is significantly higher than game knowledge of their average opponent (ohh yeah, the well known MMR again where person that is amongst best killer/survivor players in the world goes in lobby with people who don't have nearly as much skill). Same goes for both sides. .
The fundamental principle of game theory is that you have a balance of challenge and reward, which produces a flow state, and that is called "fun". But if survivors aren't rewarded for skillful input, because low skill cheese tactics are so effective, then the game ceases to be fun, and they rage quit (i.e. go next). This is not a skill issue on the players part, it is a critical game design issue whereby a large percentage of the player base doesn't even consider a match worth playing until the end, because the mechanics are inherently unfun. In fact I have never seen such a high percentage of quitters in any other popular PvP game, compared to DBD.
you literally...already have skill input in terms of macro and micro knowledge of the game. This has nothing to do with game design, it has to do with people usually looking at the game from one perspective only (thinking long chases are almost everything that matters etc.)
The very harsh fact about this game is that it has a VERY STEEP LEARNING CURVE similar to games like CS2.
And the main problem with the "go next" epidemic is that dbd players usually don't play any other game, suffer from burnout but don't wanna uninstall because they don't know how to fill the void left by taking a break from dbd. Not to mentiok that dbd has one of the most petty and entitled communities i have ever seen in any video game.
If you're a really good killer main, you don't need BHVR to hold your hand to help you kill survivors. Your skill as killer will make you an intimidating presence all by itself. If the survivors aren't intimidated by you, then you're just not good at killer role. And if survivors don't consider the game worth playing, then the devs need to address their game design instead of blaming the survivors for "not working together".
this literally goes for the survivor side too lol, yet you see new handholding mechanics arriving to "help newer players" while they end up being abused by veterans. You are again looking at the very situation from rose tinted glasses and are acting like survivors are leaving the game and are doing so because "game is killer sided" which is factually wrong.
killrate 60%… AT THE HIGHEST MMR. we weren't given stats for low mmr or average mmr
KILLERS WIN 60% OF THE TIME VS PRO SURVIVORS.
-
new map i guess, it looks fun? but i might be wrong.
don't care about anything else.
-
No mmr in events
Normal game mmr is barely existent also.

I played survivor today after not touching the role for quite some time. Months, maybe a year and even then I still only played for a day before going back to killer.
Solo que to clarify. First thing I found funny was how easy it was to not be seen so long as you moved around obstacles the right way, even if the killer is actively searching the area.
First few games pretty good, even escaped. Then it happened, the DC's after being hooked once and someome else quitting as a result, then the last player going next on hook. I was the last one and I abandoned once I got downed.
Next game, another DC after being downed. A lot people seem to not like going down or hooked, and it kind of just ruins the game sometimes. If people actually just played, then maybe they would enjoy the game more. Maybe escape more than they think if they didn't quit.
This is a game were for most survivor 1000hrs is nothing. Most cant loop properly , most don't know all killers powers and most cant handle anti loop killers. This ignoring all instadowns and stealth perks.
The game has a awfull balance issues that Will never BE fixed. So players quit expecting a better game that wont happen.
Many survs just want to afk on gens while nea loops a killer for 5 gens.
Ther s a popular English streamer with 5000hrs i wont mentionthat is pretty bad at looping and game decisions. 5000hrs.
Meanwhile i have seen very rarely survivors with 500hrs that are 1000x better than him at the game.
-
Im on 80. 2x8 Gave me like 50 lvls
-
Issue is anti camp doesnt do anything if Theres 1 survivor nearby.
So far in 1000hrs if survivor anti camp helped once and i was already stage 2 by than
-
Otz has him S tier on his tierlist.
Granted otz tierlists are meh he doesnt count perk potential, addons etc

Killeate is 60% on high mmr were 10% of players are.
On average mmr the killrate is Higher.
And on low mmr should BE lower.

Theres a site to check stats. Hás night on the name.
On killer side.
Dremogorgon hás surge. The perk is meta.
Alien hás ultimato weapon and rápido bruttality
Chucky hás friends till the end and batteries included.
Deadlock and hex plaything arent dlc anymore
Survivor hás finesse from Lara, flashbang from leon and Chem trap from Ripley
Ootside of that nothing else that is dlc and super good comes to mind.
-
usually btw 3 and 5.
-
The perks main use is for bully squads or swfs with good players. just like shoulder the burden. that's why you wont see it much. unless you go killer with 100% winrate

Honestly, my friend, I really liked the first Lights Out. I think it was fun, even if my favorite killer wasn't available, and it was a return to the horror aspect DBD needs.
The second Lights Out was awful though.
Lights out has a heavy issue. Using candles tells the killer where you are. It's a terrible idea to even use them if you aren't focused on looping the killer.
Than you add in killers that are crazyyyyyyyy strong in the game mode.
-
the strongest killer in the game nurse, spams aura readng all the time. that lone would put distortion on S tier.
The perk got nerfed but it's still really good.

Does not really change anything. Unless you play against some Killer whon uses speakers instead of Headphones.
ofcourse it does lol, maybe not at 5m of distance, but from further away it helps. i would know i have played stealth survivors and loud ones.
-
He is a superior alien/xenon in every single way lool
-
I never Kill survs intentionaly. I want 8 hooks and i still got on chucky last sunday a full SWF on comms with team perks sabo hooks flashlights for the pwoplea etc.
I destroyed them even tho i failed chuckys speed Slash 20x tho. Chucky ia too.small.looll
-
Will it matters when game balance is garbage?
Why play 90% of killers when A and S tiers exist?
Like why would i play clown when giga buffed vecna exists
-
@GeneralV said:
Yeah, out of all the modifiers this one is the worst, imo. I really don't like it, just want to get the challenges done with and return to regular queue.
Lmao all others outsise of 2x8 are bad too hhhahahaha
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
I would not rate Lucky Break that high. Because you basically need a whole Build around it or at least pair with with another Perk like Iron Will (since the removal of Scratchmarks and Blood does not really matter if you can still be heard).
And I think a Perk which requires at least 2 Perk Slots to be efficient can really be one of the best Stealth-Perks.
Play Ace or ada
-
Lmao distortion on b when all killers spam aura reading
-
Content creators have visual terror indicator and Windows of oportunity off to Flex they good at the game. Not because it isnt that usefull.
-
@I_Cant_Loop said:
Here’s another one: the visual terror radius that was for “accessibility” but ended up being a massive buff for survivors that every single survivor player uses now, including myself. Killer players never got anything similar.
Theres the crow notification perk i guess.
-
The issue is that insta ends the game.
Id say killers should BE able to leave once gates are open and a bot replaces them. But Im not sure that can BE done.
I do think at least if 1 min passed with exit gates Open the killer should BE able to insta leave regardless.
Or if exit gates where Open without killer hooking anyone all match.
-
Lmao só you are crying because you want the survivors to see you Hook them? Do you also Kiss yourself on real life?
-
Chaos shuffle is rigged anyways. I git unbreakable 5x last night.
Plus the addons for killer should BE random.
Survs are forced to play without Windows oportunity meanwhile killers have a buffet full of food

Gg killer you got a 4k on a game that is killer sided with a 60/40 match maker! At highest mmr mind you. At average mmr its probably 70/30
Or gg survivor Squad that break the game by being on all comms.
-
Yes. Thats why i hate gg. Its RARELY used for 50/50 matches. Ppl ONLY say it when they win
And when its a stomp its Toxic af. You're just saying destroying 4 players was a good game for you. Might hás well had ez to it.
Its just cringe Overall.
Back in my day people spammed the world noob, but when games where won at least Theres was effort in the chat with people telling eaxh others they did great and game was fun etc.
-
Survivors could say "BG" for bad game!
Honestly i hate gg and the spam it hás. I hope it dies out One day.

While I will first have to say THREE such killers in 2 years (on top of the existing ones) is A LOT, let's analyse the killers and see how unique they were
- Singularity - chase and teleport, but a unique take
- Xenomorph - Demogorgon with a different counter mechanic, chase power is literally a copy of Nemesis/PH
- Chucky - Pig but small
- Unknown - another projectile damage killer, with a teleport, so he falls in the chase+teleport category, but not completely a copy of another killer
- Vecna - weird one because technically chase + semi teleport, but a very unique kit overall so no complaints here at all
- Dracula - PH/Nemesis/Xenomorph (wow, they're getting many) + Demogorgon/Chucky + a more unique ability
- Houndmaster - budget Deathslinger
- Kaneki - unique
- Springtrap - Huntress/Xeno/The other 10 killers with either a projectile or short ranged hit ability + Demogorgon/Dredge/Xenomorph/Sadako/Any other teleport
6/9 killer either copy of others or not unique
You forgot vecna speed Boost /spirit /weskers / hoyndmaster. For Dracula.
