@ClogWench I've always wanted to get into D&D. It sounds a lot of fun.
@Mister_Holdout Building games are fun. c: I play quite a bit of Minecraft every once in a while. I really like making structures, etc.

You know I never gen tap, and I'm pretty good at greats. But I don't dare do it because failing at it is possible, and I don't want to bring the killer to me because I'm not that good at chases. So I end up hitting the good skill checks which obviously regresses it.
If you're not too good in chases, you can practice looping with WoO. It's good for finding where safety is and you can see if you're in a safe area or an unsafe area without having to look around. You can see if someone uses a pallet near to you. It's good to practice looping where you can too. c:

I would definently compare my artstyle to shows like Adventure Time, Fairly Odd parents and Wander Over Yonder (except not as good but it's a similar style) With my characters, they always end up looking goofy/ silly. For example, when I tried to draw my entry for the cosmetic contest, my Plague came out looking like a character from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, it was too cartoonish and not really scary/ cool enough which is how I wanted it to look
Practice makes perfect. c: I've heard that's it's good to get a more "realistic" depiction down and then your own personal artstyle will look better, too.

If you looked at his situation throughout the whole video you would understand why
I mean, I did. It doesn't change it from being a misplay to pursue the person who was just on the hook, dancing around in front of you.
-
@PhantomMask20763 Oooo, that's cool. Drawing is a lot of fun. I really like to doodle. c:
My artstyle is like basically anime, I think. I can't really say for sure, but I've seen a lot of pretty/cute/cool art styles that are super different from each other, so continue to do your best. <3 I always feel awkward when I show my artsy friends stuff I've drawn 'cause like typically it can't compare to what they've done.
I've seen a lot of people use reference to know how a character should be sitting and to make it look a bit more natural, regardless of style. What TV show do you think you'd compare your style to?
-
I feel you. Playing Solo is a headache sometimes. Literally had a game earlier where I ran the killer (everyone was dropping really quick, so I took aggro), while still getting gens in where I can and I got asked by someone why I "wasn't doing gens." It's like they don't realize they can get 2~3 gens done safely for a reason.
-
If they announce one will be bannable, the other will probably be, too. They both create advantages for the team using it, after all, which is against the rules. What are the other survivor bugs, though? The only ones I know of are thanta, wake up, and the blades.
-
I'm not sure why he continued to go after the BT person dancing in front of him (who obviously had DS) instead of perusing the Jake who was also injured, out of a dead hard, and nearby. Seems like a misplay to me, sorry to say. DS had been redesigned to counter tunneling. You won't have an issue with the perk if you don't tunnel. If it wastes your time, that's kinda on you. He had good pressure until that point.
If you're really going to say that tunneling shouldn't be countered even with a perk, that'd be like saying a survivor should be able to get away with farming another survivor and their team shouldn't be affected by it at all. Considering he's gotten up to higher ranks as survivor as well, he should know what a trap looks like. It was really obvious he was trying to get his attention again and didn't care if he went down.
-
I usually go by who I like. If they have cute/cool clothes or do I like their back story.
-
You should be fine and if they do decide to ban you for the game crashing, you could probably contact them to explain what happened. The crashing has been an issue for a while and I believe they're aware of it.
-
It's weird that they put the vote down first. Negative usually comes after the positive. I kinda wish they made it more obvious when you've already voted up something. I'll sometimes click something and realize it went down and I took off my vote. Wish it was easier to see, too.
-
More offerings for both sides (including ultra rares) would be nice. <3
-
Inside, I do believe.
-
Depending on the person and the rank, any killer can camp. I've come across so many GF that don't camp and he's actually pretty solid.
-
I mean, the double blade combo is bugged again, I believe. If they decide to ban for one, I'd hope they'd ban for the other, but who knows? They haven't announced that they'd ban for certain perk bugs in the past (Tinkerer, for example). They should just fix it, though, imo.
-
But I like sexy Legion time. :c
Bringing the gang? I call dibs on Susie.

Can you argue that a player who has used Wake Up less than 1% of the games before the GF suddenly jumps to using Wake Up in every perk build now is "unaware"? There is a clear difference between casually changing up your build and intentionally abusing a broken perk to your advantage.
Exploiting bugs is a bannable offense. It is easy for the devs to discern intentional abuse and unintentional use. There is no compelling reason not to punish players for exploitation. Why have rules at all when there is no punishment for breaking them?
The devs are pushovers and the only thing players have learned is that they can ruin games with it for as long as they can and get away with it.
Is it really that hard to release a hot fix, though? Like with the Legion bugs, there's really no way to see in game that it's having any bugged affect, right? Same with some of the other bugs. If someone isn't looking to the forums to see what the most recent bugs are, they may not be aware of them. Obviously people abusing bugs are against the rules, but I'm just not sure why they don't just release a hot fix to stop the bug or just disable the perk/add-ons for the time being.
I don't think they can monitor what perks/add-ons people use, so I'm not sure if there's a way to tell if people are just seeking to abuse the most recent bug released into the game.

@Orion From the creative writing and the literature classes I've taken, it's actually very important to exclude insignificant items. Like if someone is described or is the main focus of the camera (for like games and movies), it has to have some sort of significance to the story. The superhero stuff is fun, though. c: Gl with your craft!

@Kiskashi The game's about a community ostracized from the rest of society due to what they can do and their adventures within their hidden bubble. You come in as an outsider and get to know everyone, while trying to find your place in the community. The character doesn't remember much of their past, but it is heavily implied that they were involved with something traumatic and that their past life was taken from them and they were granted with a new one by luck. I would consider it a Choose Your Own Adventure fantasy story with horror elements at times. A lot of the beats are light, but some elements and some characters can be quite scary. I really like horror and fantasy stuff, so including it in what I do just kinda happens lol.
I've actually reworked the game several times. I was going to tell a story from a later time, but decided I wanted to do a little bit of world building first and to tell the story from when the community got their first addition that was heavily involved with what they can do, power-wise. Like when everything started to change and they started seeing some potential in their abilities that their parents never considered too seriously. I believe there's like four major stories. Two of which involves characters that are only introduced in the last story.
I'm currently planning on making two games, though it's a slow process. I was going to make the second one where you can choose between a few dolls to play as, though I'm not sure if I'm gonna go through with that atm or just tell a character story. I really like the Choose Your Own Adventure element of stories. I like when what you choose matters and the world feels real around you, so-to-speak.
Sorry for the long post. xD I'm passionate.
Costume making definitely counts. That's really cool! Digital art is also really fun. I actually have an OST playlist on YouTube just for when I need to focus. I think half of the videos are deleted now, though. It's been a while since I opened it or put anything on it. Do you make costumes for anything specifically?
-
@Orion I used to listen to music on YouTube when I was in school. Like the sort without any words. I'm thinking I may start doing that again, though it can be hard when I feel like I have a lot to do or when I'm distracted.
I'm working on a game, but I'm writing out the story beats and the character information to help myself paint out the scene and make sure its congruent.

Oh that's funny.
"I know I was intentionally stealing twenty bucks from the guy every time I saw him! It was his fault for keeping his bag out in the open where I could steal it! I'm not the bad guy, he is for wanting the police to punish me!"
My lord, some people have such a wayward moral compass when they're caught red handed.
It really isn't a 50-50 comparison. People could be unaware they're doing something bad if they don't read the forums. I saw someone using Wake Up earlier and just assumed he was running a Kill My Team build since he had WGLF, too, and no BT or We'll Make It.
It's using something that's within the game and getting punished instead of them just fixing it. It'd be like giving someone a group of balls with varying shapes that they can play with, seeing they're using a green one, and punishing them for it because its shape gives it an advantage or something like that (due to being slightly damaged).
Those bugs can't really be used to hold the game hostage, so they probably won't ban anyone for either. I hope they do get around to fixing them with the next patch, though, at the very least.
-
Not sure if they've realized there's abuse-able bugs yet. They really shouldn't ban people for using perks and just fix them imo, though.
-
I'm so bad. I didn't even notice when I reached 1k. It's like I went from 300 to 1k without even realizing it. Congratz on the milestone!
-
Mine's 61.4, though I'm sure some weeks are different.
-
You should heal against Legion imo. They're faster now, so they can down you. It's also more possible now to avoid the first hit. If you're gonna not heal for Legion, might as well not heal for anyone, but that'll put you in a bad spot if there's a gen in a weak spot.

It buffs all actions speeds by 15% instead of just the exit opening.
Thank you for telling me. I hope they'll fix it soon.

This.
Moving the mori to second stage removes it's entire purpose. At that point you may as well hook them. It would give more points and would likely take less time than most mori animations.
Stop trying to take the fun out of the game. There is nothing wrong with ultra-rare things being overpowered, cause they aren't that common.
There's nothing wrong in talking about changing how moris work, though. The iri ones are no fun to go against and makes the game far too short for everyone involved. There shouldn't be items/offerings that make the game shorter and give you less points imo.
-
What's the Wake Up bug?
-
@AStupidMonkeyy I'm not sure about grouping insta-heals with moris. To me, moris seemed more similar to keys. Both makes the game end quicker than usual in some cases. I'm not sure how people would take moris being relegated to second stage, too, though I'm certainly up for ideas. c: Iri moris stink.
-
I've seen people offer a gradual heal over time. So you would use the add on and it would heal the full health state, but gradually over time so you can do other stuff while waiting for it to heal you in full.

The fact that all of Ash's perks are now useless is sad. I ran MoM today, and didn't get a single stack on it, even though I threw myself in front of my teammates to see if it would work. Love how you pay for items that end up becoming trash.
@moridoll I was able to get it off, but I literally had to run after someone as they're getting chased and take a hit. Even then, it's massively inconsistent and takes way too much time to pull off if it happens to not register a protection hit as a protection hit for whatever reason.
-
I got my first (non farming) double pip yesterday. I think it was my first, at least.
-
Firecrackers are powerful?
-
We can talk about lessening the time if we also talk about pausing it while you're downed.
-
Not just SWF who do this. I had someone do this for me while playing solo and killer assumed we were SWF.

The timer was only increased, because of Enduring affecting it. Enduring no longer does, so why should the timer stay increased?
Weren't we talking about the timer for the ground and not the stun time?

Or you could just break the pallet. It'd take less time and one of survivor's resources would be gone.

Not even a week, I believe it was 5 days unless I am mistaken. Also, this may be due to No0b3's video where he stated there wasn't any survivor who could break him out of power which simply isn't/wasn't true. The survivors just weren't looking at GF to break him out. I am playing survivor and have been since his release and it is ridiculously easy to break him out if you are trying to do so and know you can.
Wait, are we're talking about the slight buffs survivors got before his release (allowing them to see him slightly easier) or are we talking about a nerf that has yet to come? Ghostface can still stalk people if the first is the case. I've had multiple games where it went off multiple of times.
-
I feel like it would be best if we didn't have "top" killers, though, and all of them being moderately good would be better since you could then just buff the role without having top with about the affect it would have with the better killers.
-
From my tests, MoM has appeared to become yet another Boiled Over. It's still bad with gimmick builds and you'll never get it off. On top of that, you're putting you and your team in a vulnerable spot for something that won't pan out. It's better to take other perks. Like any other perk, really.
-
Be reactive to what you're seeing. Sometimes people will run to you like boosted animals, but often if they do something suspect, it's for a reason. You can wait out the timer or use their slug for additional pressure (especially if more are nearby). The perk was remade to help people who get tunneled or found again right away. And even with that, there's counters floor it even with Enduring not affecting or anymore. The timer is fine where it is.
