Bestie I am too. Thats why I recognized it so fast :)

If this event was Survivor sided then The Game would be boosted. Instead there's Coal Tower, one of the most balanced maps, and Ormond, which is awful but could be so much worse.
But Saloon winning again?

Jasmine masters you have something to say??

I think dead hard is mostly fine. Maybe increase the time you can't drop pallets or vault anything by a few more micro seconds but other then that nothing else. Way better then what we have before.
-
It seems like trouble legit finds you easily. Not trying to downplay your harrassment.
Don't let it get to you my friend.

But honestly what perks would one take off to get Dragon's Grip
Eruption- Perk does to much to let it go
Call Of Brine- Has good Gen regression for 60 seconds
Overcharge- Has better Synergy with Dragon's Grip
Nowhere To Hide- Aura reading apon kicking a Gen kinda goes against Dragon's Grip (but it's Aura Reading so it's more of a toss up)
Eruption because it's annoying

I understand why they're terrified to touch blood pact but that's their fault for reworking it into the much harder to balance state as it is. Idk if you played the Silent Hill PTB, but back then it didn't require a full heal to activate and only lasted 10 seconds I believe. But that was so useful because if you got interrupted BOOM you could sprint away quickly and avoid getting hit
But in my opinion them playing safe is what's holding them back. This is also in part due to the fact that they are really slow at making changes. If something is overpowered they should change it quickly

They said Head On, not DH. Though outside of a Head On squad you really can't bully with it. Even then those people are usually just messing around.
@topic I'd argue information perks take skill to use effectively. Add in something like Hyperfocuse where you need to consistently hit greats.
I agree with this. Information perks can only do so much if don't know how to use it to your advantage

If Fogwise needs anything, it’s a cooldown as the perk is borderline OoO 2.0 with a Hyperfocus toolbox build.
One word Fearmonger!
-
It shouldn't even need to take this long to change perks because a majority of perks could just do with simple number changes. You know how decent blood pact would be if you increase the range and the speed boost by a decent amount?
-
Fogwise is the only good perk here. The other perks they played way too safe.
Potential energy is mostly fine just make it so that you only lose 5 tokens when injured
For quick gambit increase the range greatly. Like 40 meters or something

It does not actually affect Recovery time, it's only visual.
It does affect Snapping Out of It
Oh it's a visual glitch that's weird. I wonder if it effects other powers

The mangled status effect now effects mending time and recovery from the dying state. It's currently bugged

@Aven_Fallen said:
Yeah, as others have said, this screams like Hyperfocus. The thing is, Hyperfocus was only really useable when Stake Out got consistent stacks (Wesker + RPD all the time = many Stacks to protect Hyperfocus-Stacks). With Stake Out not being that consistent anymore, it made Hyperfocus less good. And I think This is Not Happening would be a safer version to use compared to Stake Out, since the requirement of just staying injured is easier to achieve than being in the Terror Radius all the time.
Also, I am not really sure how much it would affect players who would not even go for Hyperfocus. I mean, I am doing Skill Checks for a few years now, if they would be half as fast, I am very sure I would mess up a few because I am not used to it.
But personally, because it might be too much with Hyperfocus, I dont think it is such a good idea. I mean, it is probably worth testing, but currently I would rather say "No".
Yeah with Hyperfocus it could be too much. I feel we could lower the speed decrease and maybe just remove increasing the chances for skillchecks
-
@Devil_hit11 said:
counters hex:lullaby and coulrophobia. it has large synergy with autodicate and hyperfocus. I think the it might better to make it slow skill-check dial by 30% and increase skill-check zone by 30% when injured.
the increase the odds of skill-checks might be too effective with hyperfocus, so I think the healing skill-check part for autodidact could be new perk for survivor. this was my idea for new survivor perk.
Meditation:
Your calm mind remains focused on healing others.
Increases the skill-check chance of healing other survivors by 5%/7%/10%.
That actually seems like an interesting. But I feel the perk should have a second effect instead of just increasing skillcheck since.

Well killer mains complained it would lead to survivors holding each other hostage or some other bs. But the real concern was that it would nerf camping. So no unlimited Reassurance.
Unfortunately. Would have been a great addition

I will also use different perks :)

Dragon’s Grip is mostly hindered by its super long cooldown. If nobody gets exposed during the 30 seconds it’s active on the gen, it becomes unusable for another 80 seconds (which starts AFTER the 30 seconds) meaning at worst you have to wait almost 2 minutes between activations.
Imo, it should just be that the 80 seconds starts when the gen is kicked, regardless of whether someone gets exposed or not.
Oof that's bad. I understand the reason for the downside as exposed is pretty strong effect but still. They played it too safe
-
@RaSavage42 said:
I am just as surprised...
Same can be said for Surveillance... but that gets over Call Of Brine
Yeah I don't see surveillance anymore. It's sad it's forgotten

I'm going to do the survivor perks only
Second wind
Make it so that in order to activate you only have to heal a survivor to the next health state regardless if they have been healed before. Also allow you to keep the effect if you go into the dying state
This is not happening
Remove the injured stipulation and increase the odds of getting skillchecks and decrease the skillcheck speed by 25%
Premonition
Lower the cooldown to 15 seconds. When not in chase and it activates get a 3% movement Speed boost for 3 seconds. Also make it work only when your on the same floor as the killer
Potential energy
Allow you to lose only 5 tokens when you lose a health state rather then all of your tokens
Technician
Lower the penalties of missed skillchecks to 1% (similar to bite the bullet) and remove the generator repair sound when the generator is less then 50% complete while working on it.
Mettle of man
Allow safe unhooks to active the perk and to compensate increase the number of time you need to activate it to 4 instead of 3. Remove the killer seeing your aura when activated part.
Buckle Up
Make it exhaustion perk. Whenever you pick up another survivor from the dying state they move at 150% movement Speed for 2 seconds
Visionary
Instead show the progress of generators by there auras
Self preservation
Increase the range to 28 instead of 16. And increase time to 12 seconds
Boon: Dark Theory
Increase the movement Speed to 3% and increase vaulting speed by 10% while in the boon range. Increase lingering effect to 6 seconds.
Corrective Action
I did a suggestion for this perk on the past so I will put it here
Corrective Action.
You quickly analyse problems and correct others' work when they make a mistake
You start the trial with a maximum of 6/8/10 tokens.
Whenever another survivor compleats a good skill check a token is consumed and the good skill check becomes a great skill check.
Whenever another survivor fails a skillcheck a token is consumed and that skillcheck becomes a good skillcheck
When you successfully hit a great skillchecks you gain 1 token.
Corrective action only applies to normal skillchecks
Inner focus
Make the range you see the killers aura when they hit a survivor unlimited and the scratche marks of other survivors at a range
Calm Spirit
Remove the ridiculous downside it has.
That's all the survivor perks suggestions
-
On a dead by daylight forum? Most likely no
It shouldn't but it does happen sometimes and it ends up being closed because it turns into a mess.
Sometimes we also play bingo with the post and it's fun :)
-
All the mystery went away when I played more then a few games.
Also I'm jealous people felt mystery when playing dbd solo. The only feeling I felt was frustration
-
It's stuff like this where I wish we had reassurance before it was nerfed. Force them to stay in the game
-
When did they get nerfed or major changes?
This is a really poor attempt to get dead hard nerfed

It's just boring to see it again every game, I really miss when people actually used unique builds when dead hard got nerfed, but now it's back to copypasta meta builds. That's why I hate dead hard because meta builds are boring and so unfun to see every single game. Like I feel the same about the gen kick meta if it really makes you feel any better. The meta change literally did very little to change the actual meta of the game. The killer meta is still regression, the survivor meta only has one perk switched around, ds isn't used as much, lol. Like if you think that's great and all good for you, but it's just so boring.
You could always buff other perks to be good.
A lot of perks on both side are niche and trash
-
Omg we are still complaining.
My complaint about yall is that yall said yall wanted it to be more skill based. So it is and now people still complain. Yall are so inconsistent.
You let them use dead hard at the right time it's your fault. They got the timing well and got rewarded for it.

Why not
-
@Mr_K said:
There are 116 perks to choose 4 from. What is wrong with having a challenge perk?
Why are we always focused on No Mither? Are the other 115 perks perfectly fine? I swear survivors just want an unlimited unbreakable with no downsides.
Calm down. I don't want unlimited unbreakable with no downsides.
There is nothing wrong with a challenge perk but no mither challenge is terrible and does more harm then good imo. I think there are better ways to make a challenge perk. Like current object of obsession

they are supposed to do that, what is your point?
No it's not. Mangled is only supposed to effect healing and the effect of lullaby is supposed to stop after cleansing
-
@Rulebreaker said:
Sure we'll bite. Why does it need kill switched?
The mangled statuses effect effects mending and recovery speeds.
And huntress lullaby is still active after it's been cleansed meaning doing skillchecks are more difficult.
I didn't think they weren't fixed yet

Ngl, I thought execution by hanging was called lynching.
My point still stands, though. Execution and extreme self-harm are very, very different things.
I think lynching is more death by hanging by a mob or citizens then by the government or authority. Or in lesser words unlawful execution.

Fair point. If this were to be implemented, perks for both sides would have to be adjusted.
But with that said, something needs to be done to help Early Game, and new things need implemented to survivor to make the role a little more interactive/fun. Anything would be better than what we have now.
I really don't think there is anything you can do to the early game drastically without throwing everything out of balance.
What we have now isn't that bad imo
-
I really don't think a secondary objective would be good now. I think camping and tunneling along with killers bringing slowdown builds would make survivor unbearable.
Imagine needing to find a generator part when a survivor is on a hook getting camped with other slow down perks.

Good list. Except one personal nitpick.
"Hey what perks are you running?"- theres still a chatting feature in any survivor lobby.
Cant wait for the "not enough" to kck in in full throttle and survivors asking for bond basekit and self-updating radar/map. 😂
Most people don't have access to the chat feature since they are on console.

only need 2. With all the survivor team shared info it makes most older perks pointless now. Aura and item perks are mostly worthless now. Same thing with hatch based mechanics like keys and left behind
Aura reading perks are not useless now. They still have their uses with knowing where the object in question are. The new solo buffs tell you what others are doing but not where. That'd where aura reading perks come in
-
Bond and aftercare are better in my opinion

Oooop we really bringing that mess up?
-
@sizzlingmario4 said:
That's not overpowered at all. If anything, I'm questioning whether that might be too weak.
Assuming no Agitation in play, and excluding potential impact of the survivor struggling on the maximum possible travel distance (which would affect both of these results similarly):
Killer's default carrying speed = 3.68m/s * 16 seconds = 58.88m
3% penalty to carrying speed = 3.68 (1 - 0.03) = 3.5696m/s * 16 seconds = 57.11m
And fwiw, maybe that's a good thing that the perk doesn't affect that very much. But I don't think this is overall necessarily stronger than the current version.
The attack cooldown penalty would increase the cooldown from 1.5s to 2.25s. Which is fine. And would technically be an indirect buff to Mad Grit because it would counter that entirely so I like that.
Well with those numbers Mayne it's best to lowee the movement speed by 5% instead of 3%
-
@TheMidnightRidr said:
I think this is a neat idea. I like the aspect of the perk increasing how much the killer seats while you’re wiggling, so I’d just replace the part where dropping increases wiggle progression with this.
To be fair, though, I don’t think it’d do a whole lot in the grand scheme of things but I like it when perks change. Keeps them interesting.
Yeah It probably won't do much but it's just something different then the mess we have now.

@HugTheHag said:
Went to check and, according to Nightlight (which is biased, but still gives an idea) :
Survivors : Buckle Up, Red Herring, Corrective Action, Inner Focus, Blood Pact, Poised, Self-Preservation, Pharmacy and Up the Ante have less than 0,20% of use.
Killers : Hangman's Trick, Territorial Imperative, Hoarder and Septic Touch have less than 0,20% of use.
I would have listed all beneath 1% of use, but that was 40% of survivor perks (and 30% of killers'), same with under 0,50% of use, which was 20% of survivor perks (10% of killers').
Not a coincidence that all these perks need a buff ot rework in some way.
I surprised premonition is not up there. I feel I'm one of the only 4 survivors in the world that use those perks.
-
Yeah I was curious because whenever I got hit with sloppy my recovery speed in the dying state was slowed I guess thats not intended
-
I'm all for making COH more balanced but can yall do it in a way that doesn't make it useless
-
@Hannacia said:
Just give killers shattered hope as basekit and Coh and other boons are solved. Survivors will actually have to look for other totems instead of booning the same over and over. Also they have to be careful not to overboon.
I just want to break them without using a perk that should have been basekit from the beginning.
Doing that only solves circle of healing not the other boons because the other ones are bad.

I have zero issue facing any killer on that list besides Twins (and that's not because of their design, it's because of...well okay, something about their design that's really stupid in that you can't really earn any chase points against them and it's thus nearly impossible to pip sometimes).
I legit love facing Nurse now or a non camping Trickster.
