I would make Lethal, Corrupt, Deadlock and No Way Out basekit and give away the bloodlust bonus for unique hook.
No Way Out would be a higher likelihood due to end game being miserable for Killer but Haywire would fit better as well.

Cages are not hooks, they should be counted as them but they are not so the game does not recognize the caged Survivor as being on hook for the mori.

i got this bug on every game i played with the twins, and it's so annoying 😭😭😭
The funny thing is that in the next very soon hotfix they'll fix the (((chase music)))) For the (((((Survivors)))) because it's missing 🙄

I think I know where the chase music goes to then.
-
No, don't let them know. This bug is a good thing for The Ghoul so they don't get gutted like The Skull Merchant and The Good Guy.
-
I believe the fix here would be to force every player to the main menu when a Kill Switch is enacted.
-
I would like to note that the wait time is about a full minute for this message to pop up.
-
So to refurbish your statement, the entity should have taken them in 4 steps but took them in 3.
-
It is a semi bug, I think what occurred here was you grabbed same item the entity wanted to take but it instead acted like it took it anyways and grabbed those last 2 items. Maybe a code overlap due to the speed but only the last 2 items the entity takes were bugged, the ones you circled in blue still matched the base mechanics.

Please keep the topic on The Ghoul's power alteration.

well how would you nerf nurse w/o destroying her i don't even think she has the pickrate to justify a nerf blight idc tbh but i'd rather buff killers to their power level than nerf
Off the main topic with your question but I would say a logical change would be to remove the ability to see during a Blink, whether that be just players and/or map environment objects, it would scientifically be a plausible change without actually affecting the Killer but instead affecting how a player plays with less information.

Please everyone, do make sure to remember what a discussion is. You refute an idea with an idea of your own. A discussion isn't putting down someone else's idea because you don't like it. That is called bullying.

Also to actually get enough aura reading from the perk you have to run Hoarder with it..which is a very bad perk. So now you're wasting 2 slots for what you'd normally get in aura reading from probably 1 perk. Hoarder also needs a huge buff for that matter though and I suppose that's a different conversation.
Indeed, that is the point. On its own it is just enough to satisfy basic aura reading and can be augmented by other perks to allow a different form of aura reading that is completely separate from the norm. A change of scenery as one might put it. It gives the ability to not be forced into the meta and give a second option that could be good or bad depending on chest spawns. If the chests spawn on strong tiles that is good, if they are all grouped on one half of the map it is overall bad but could be used to lock an area down.
-
@Blueberry said:
A nice buff but it still leaves the perk as bad. I agree it should show the aura of opened chests, not closed ones so you can know where you need to close them.
In general the perk just doesn’t give enough aura reading for the slot. I think the range of them should be a tiny bit further, like 10 meters, and just their aura the entire time they’re within it like Weave Attunement instead of a duration. That plus the extra chest you added would make the perk solid. The downside that they can get more items you recommended seems fair.
This would be a mere stepping stone towards a final revision of the perk, if it does need altering after practice then it should do so accordingly in response to what it needs. Remember that right now, to effectively use the perk, you need to focus almost all your attention on activating the effects for almost no benefit.
-
Do take note before commenting that this is in the aspect of individuality of the perk itself and the Killer adept functionality. A regular match takes about 10-20 minutes and when the Killer normally has down time to use Human Greed normally they have no idea where the chests are and have to stumble upon them.
I have taken into account that paired with Hoarder the effect will be significantly stronger but this also does severely limit the perk selection for the Killer from 4 down to 2 and is taken into consideration for the limitations imposed by pairing them together. On its own it is a good buff, paired together with fitting perks it becomes better at the cost of limiting other potential perk combinations.

Note: During any slide that is not the last Leap you can hold back on your movement device to halt a slide. The last Leap has no slide that has impact, if the previous statement is untrue then you might be holding backwards on your movement device. I am unsure if you can halt it mid slide or need to do it before the slide to stop it but it does affect the slide.

It seems to happen when generators are completed in quick succession of one another in which it tricks the coding of the gen counter. Also seems to happen when it goes from 4→3 gens and skips over 2 when a second gen is finished shortly after going straight down to 1. So it goes 4→3→1 despite only 2 gens being completed.

Anonymous mode does not prevent you from reporting players. You report them in-game as your normally would, and check the Game Rules to see if additional evidence is needed to be sent to Support:

I am not talking about in game reporting, I am talking about platform account reporting.
-
If you think that a perk that works throughout the match is not good then guess we will also have all exhaustion perks removed as well.
-
Another hinderance would be to limit vault speed so you can't perform a fast vault through windows, something to annoy survivors but could sometimes be a blessing in disguise if utilized correctly.
-
Also with vaulting windows as killer.
-
Huntress does not need the extra hatchets since she was already in an above average position before. You should have used those resources on bringing up a killer that needed it or fixing the improper detection on high speed projectiles.
-
Standard kicking shouldn't affect the regression limit at all since it rewards Survivors for having the killer kick gens. That 5% is nothing when survivors need to be on the gen for 3 seconds to counter it.
-
How about reduce overdrive time and when it is over you enter overheat.
-
No, it is a horror game not a social life game.
-
Why do you think that perks like DS and Off The Record are disabled in end game?
-
How about a permanent 5% hindered for the rest of the match to movement speed and killer power recharge rate?
-
Not an exploit. What is an exploit is Blight sliding against walls that their power is suppose to bump into just to gain crazy speed and do 180 turns on a tile.

@mees said:
No it shouldn't. Sometimes a killer might be right above a hook but wont be able to drop right down so the killer wouldnt be able to stop the unhook from there so they are not really camping then
And which map is this on? All maps have a spawn in either main which is almost always a multi floored function or shack, meanwhile the indoor maps have at least one location where the killer can go one floor above basement entrance and camp it with immediate access to the entrance. Perhaps you are talking about the office spawn on Lery's that has a lower spawn rate than its generator room spawn. Maybe RPD that has the same problem?
-
The only other option is to put players that have a high disconnect frequency and players that have a high death on first hook number be placed in their own server and can't connect to other servers, instead anyone they party with will be placed into that server for those matches they are teamed with the person.
-
I would prefer to have a bot and players without perks than having someone throw the easiest match in the game just because they don't like the map or they don't like the killer. Bot's are significantly better than the player who disconnects anyways. It would be a better incentive to disconnect than have someone kill themselves on first hook to avoid the DC penalty timer and alter the kill statistics of the match.
-
Generators: Why would you do that to killers but not balance it by nerfing the survivors repair speed, even if it is on an undamageable gen(Look into coding to protect from cheating survivors making all gens hit max regression events from start of match.
FOV: No base impact.
Onryo: So, you just reverted everything back to what it was originally but kept the not being stunned in demanifested and gave a slight , buff?, by making a useless add-on base kit.
Hillbilly: You still need to give them a significant negative effect from entering overdrive such as you can't release the power once you start to activate it or the base movement speed is 4.4m/s.
Blight: Pretty good but you still need to fix the "hug tech" bug that violates the rules of his power.
Perks: STBFL got what it deserved and all but Shadowborn are perfect, might need to add the effect of making you being blinded lasts longer. Maybe add something to monitor and abuse so it isn't so basic as a killer teachable.
Ormond: Maybe put up some higher walls for coverage that make projectile killers harder to use in those dead zones.

i think they rather buff killer aura reading perks with further radius then invent new perk. for example, if nurse calling radius is too low, buff nurse calling to 34 meters. furthermore, i think majority of them are unlimited range and they already have lethal pursuer that increases aura reading duration by +2 seconds.
I think A Nurse's Calling was at a higher radius but it was too strong hence why they reduced the size. If you check the perk lists a lot of the aura perks are radius based attached to the killer or something on the map, Lethal Pursuer doesn't apply its effect to those types of perks only to the ones that have an aura duration. The perk I suggest is the other spectrum to Lethal Pursuer. It doesn't affect duration time but instead the base radius of the attached object be it the killer, generators, hooks, totems etc. It is also a pretty even split between aura radius and aura duration.
-
Guess I will play Nurse like I play Myers by Mandy's explanation. Slower than survivors and an inconsistent power but hey I have map knowledge and game knowledge, not like I need to know how her power feels to get a Blink attack to connect on a consistent basis.
-
How about giving us the ability to lock our own killers so that challenges don't appear for them? That way I can no longer have any reason to play Nurse, Blight or a few other killers I don't touch.
-
Losing a few matches? I would lose 90% of my matches if I play as Nurse or Blight because I wouldn't be able to play a match long enough to learn their power. The bot custom matches don't help either. No killer plays remotely like Nurse for their to have her linked to other killers and Blight only has Oni being similar and the upcoming chapter killer. That is too little to justify being good at Trapper to be as good with Nurse.
-
Firstly his power activation is loud and is easy to hear during and second, any killer can have their add-ons categorized in broad terms as well so the point is moot. Third this is just a suggestion not a discussion you could have made another post to get BHVR attention on the add-on instead of trying to start an argument where there is none. A suggested rework is just that a suggestion and not meant for a hateful argument since it isn't in the game. Make a post on your suggestions for reworks, buffs nerfs or even new ides for the future, that is what this section is for.

I was gonna suggest have his trail spawn under him as he carves his trail, making him undetectable while using it.
Still haven't decided if this is OP or not though... he would have at maximum 5 seconds (22m) of silent movement with his trail, and 8m on his punishment of the damned at base, so using it to sneak up on gens would not be too overboard I feel, and it denies 1 of his ranged add-ons for punishment... so... maybe fine?
You forget that he is one of the tallest characters in the game and that makes it quite difficult to use the undetectable to sneak up on anyone. Look at Nemesis as an example, his add-on is only useful because it allows him to use it at any time with a decent amount of time to it.

Rancid Abattoir was the name.
-
Stay Underground is also bugged from Tome 15:Ascension level 4
-
I just checked Fire Up's speed increase and at up to 20% pick up speed would make it better to have the percentage speed increase to 10%/20%/30% as opposed to my earlier suggestion. I did not think the percentage was that substantial. Maybe call the perk Hasty Retreat.

Note: it says this for me on Xbox Series S.

Same on Xbox Series S but a console restart fixed it.
