Pig's little squeak is so ajshdbajshda love it.
Also a big fan of Trapper's gut-punch noise and Doctor's giggle.
-
David bc I want my rugbae. 😭
-
Sounds like someone got Devour Mori'd.
-
Survivor: Kindred, Dark Sense, Spine Chill, We'll Make It. WMI is probably my fave survivor perk, and having all that knowledge would be fun.
Killer: Iron Grasp, Sloppy Butcher, Bitter Murmur, Unrelenting. I whiff a lot lmao.
-
I always hope for Nurse because I just love her. Especially now that there's crossplay, I want a PC Nurse to ruin me.
-
I'm at Tier 26 with two challenges left in Level 2 (one's almost done), but I've also started on some Level 3 Killer things. I figure I'll get more caught up with these final two levels and having more time the next few weeks to play!
-
I've had the complete opposite experience. It seems like all of my recent games have all been Rank 8-11 killer and rank 7-11 survivors.
-
We're Gonna Live Forever: It needs something other than BP bonus. Being able to see the killer aura for like 3/4/5 seconds after they pick up a downed survivor, or something to that effect.
Surge: Instead of applying to gens within 32 meters, I would say the closest 1/2/3 gens.

I don't have pictures, but my Steve ~look~ is the Scoops Ahoy shirt with his jeans and his sunglasses head.

for what reason do you not like the map then ?
I don't dislike it; I just think it only needs one version. Maybe I misunderstood the original post. I'm saying delete four Badham maps and keep one for the realm.
-
I agree, but not for any of the reasons you listed. I just genuinely cannot tell the difference between the variants, so I don't see the need for so many.
-
I've seen some screencaps in the forums from other players that are colorblind, and they have their graphics on a different color setting. Not sure if that's an option for you, but it's worth looking into for the time being! No idea if the devs plan on doing anything for it graphically.
-
I just love Demo and get so excited when I go against one.

Yeah, I guess it was kinda funny; certainly caught me off guard. Although, sometimes on console when in Freddy’s dreamworld or when killers use ruin the FPS can lag somewhat causing skillchecks to get a little choppy; this in turn messes with the SC timing a bit. Not sure if u play on console or PC... people were saying PC still provides opportunity for both skillchecks.
I play on PS4, so maybe it's just an occasional bug or something? I haven't had an issue with seeing both SC even if I miss the first one.
-
I'll still get both skill checks even if I miss the first one, but I did notice the new animation for if you miss one! Got a good laugh out of me the first time, if I'm honest.
-
I don't think I've ever lobby-dodged as a survivor. I kind of just take what I get because those queue times have always been longer than killer queues for me.
As killer, I think I dodged once, and that's because it was 4 Blendettes and I just didn't feel like dealing with that nonsense. I play more casually, and that just screams bad match.
-
Thank you everyone! I'll definitely have to work on that once I get better at not hitting the first wall I see aha

Hehehe the OP stated he's on PS4 so no mouse is possible. Rest is solid advice my bubba!
She! But yes, I like the advice. Do you happen to know what the PS4 equivalent to right mouse button would be? I have my controls set on default, so would it just be the usual power activation button?

Try your best to memorise how long his chainsaw sweep without charges is.
Then, when you fully memorise how long it is, apply that to using charges and use your charge just a few moments before the sweep ends to maximise the length of the sweep.
Be sure to not hug the walls, as hitting one will stun you and set all of your charges to 0.
I think hugging the walls might have been my major problem, so I'll definitely practice going wider. Thank you!

I still jump every time I trigger one of Hag's traps. Little shriek included.
Also I finally saw Hag's locker-pull animation for the first time recently (after months and months of playing) AND HOLY HELL IS THAT TERRIFYING SHE JUST POUNCES I WAS SO SCARED.
And I still get crept up on by some killers. Not every game is terrifying, but there are definitely still moments that have me sweating on the edge of my seat aha.
-
I rarely bring them, but if I do it's because I want to see the animation. It makes me sad if I get genrushed (or a terrible map with better survivors) and don't get to see at least one cinematic loveliness. u_u
-
I 100% support this change. I always got so frustrated on The Game bc of that.
-
The greatest feeling is getting those first three stacks and then chasing survivors around looking for it. To pull off all five stacks and get the 4k is even better.
-
Survivor: We'll Make It, Iron Will, Balanced Landing, [varies].
Killer: Legion - Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, Nurse's Calling, Sloppy Butcher.
Killer: Doctor - Distressing, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, I'm All Ears.
-
Was it also a double pip? I think that’s part of the requirement, and I’ve gotten Merciless before and was just shy of a double pip. Definitely submit a report though because like mentioned it could just have bugged out!
-
I prestiged Steve once, but I don't think I'll prestige anyone else. The RNG of perks makes me not want to do that because the bloodweb always seems to give me the perks I don't care for. My next goal is just to get all characters to level 40 for teachables (50 if I play them). Then maybe down the line I'll look at prestiging again for new goals.
-
I think it's the funniest thing, I love it.
-
Survivor: We'll Make It. I'm surprised I don't see it more often. Double healing speed? You can get a heal off in three seconds if someone else is helping, but like 7/10 times it lets me solo heal under the hook before the killer's back.
Killer: Mad Grit for the lols. Also because people don't expect it on anyone other than Legion, I feel like. Mad Grit Doctor?? Mad Grit Nurse??? My faves.
-
Easily GF with the selfies (and inevitable photobombs). Honorable mentions are Legion's (because of the stabbing and trying to fight back) and Hag's (because it's just absolutely brutal).
-
I occasionally do! If a match was particularly fun, I'll go 5, or if I had terrible teammates/a really frustrating killer (I'm talking like AFK or just a game that really angered me), I'll go 1. Doesn't matter to me if it's read, but it does have a moment of insta-relief for doing it. I'll also give props to people I liked versing or playing with. Not sure if PS4 has any way of tracking these, but it makes me feel better in the moment.
But if we're talking percentage of matches where I rate/thumbsup/down vs where I don't, it's probably only 5-10% of matches I actually use the function.
-
Killer: Darth Maul
Survivor: Jaskier

My friends and I don't like to farm a lot bc it can be really boring, but occasionally we get a killer who's fantastic about it. These are usually the killers we have nice games with. Two main examples:
-- Had a farming Piggy in one match. We just spent the whole game basically exploring Yamaoka with her. There was a Jake (not one of us) that was being a jerk to her in game for no reason, so we would get in his way and gesture him off to do something else. Like, in farming it's defo fine to blind/stun, but there's no need to do it like 20 million times in a row. But she was really fun, lots of boops, 10/10.
-- Had a farming Huntress that needed to do the 'Hit 2 survivors from 15+ meters' challenge. We were 4-manning at the time, so we could easily coordinate target practice for her. Had a lot of fun in that game just standing and waving when we figured we were at the right distance. She moonwalked for us at the exit gate. Again 10/10.
-- Also never forget our conga line Ghostface. Most fun game ever that started with a conga line (again 4-manning and just being chaotic dumb when we spawned together). GF saw us and stared a moment before joining in. Then all my friends pointed at me, he turned around and stabbed me, and I got first hooked. Game proceeded as normal, but there was no 'toxic' play, just a really great match.

I'm living for Nea and Jeff's newest cosmetics. My friend and I wear them (I play Nea, he plays Jeff) when we SWF, and they just look like some post-apoc badasses together on the loading screen.
But overall, I love the variety available. It makes it fun to switch up appearances every once in a while.

Why nurses? Mending doesnt proc it.
If you're running Thana, people will need to heal to avoid gen slowdown, so after someone mends, it procs to show healing. And if people decide to heal against Legion with or without Thana, it procs for that too. I like it for when people haven't touched gens again yet because it helps me find them while patrolling, and then I can get a read on most everyone if I Frenzy again.
-
It's dance party time.
-
I love playing Legion because it's just a whole bunch of stabbing, and I like feeling zoomy in Frenzy (and being able to fast vault as a killer). But I can definitely see where your frustration comes from! I never got to play Legion when multiple stabs would down someone, but there's definitely a method to playing them.
The perks you mentioned don't apply to Frenzy hits because they're not considered basic attacks. It's the same as if you hit someone with Huntress' hatchet; things like Franklin's wouldn't proc. But there are a lot of other perks that do well! Pairing slowdown perks like Thana with Legion means that people /have/ to heal to not have the gen speed debuffs, and Frenzy is the most efficient power at getting every survivor injured in a short period of time. And the deep wound timer starts going down once you're out of chase with someone, so if you do stab everyone in Frenzy, everyone else you're no longer chasing will need to mend. It may not be the most time consuming (there are addons to make it longer), but it does keep people off gens for just a little bit, giving you that time to down the last person you frenzied. My favorite add-on combos for Legion are a frenzy end-stun reducer + one of the blades.
If you can, see if you can get people to play in a custom match with you. Just mention that you want to practice your Legion and the timing with hits while in Frenzy. It's the closest there is to a practice mode currently (which I definitely would love to actually be an option in the game!).
But overall, my favorite part of Legion is just constantly injuring people with Frenzy. Even without Thana, people will eventually stop healing because they just want to get gens and be out of the match, and that's when you'll start getting your downs/hooks. If you have Nurse's Calling, definitely run that. Nothing is more satisfying than frenzy-ing two people in the middle of a heal tbh.

Having achievements (either actual achievements, dailiy challenges, or rift challenges) is how I keep killer fun. I could go into a game with the 'Shock 4 survivors' daily, and I could get one hook the whole game, but if I spammed the ever-living hell out of that Shock Therapy and finished my daily, I had fun aha. I also never really focus on the 4k, but I do like to pip or at least safety. Depipping is just a little demoralizing. But overall, if the game went for a decent amount of time and I got a lot of interaction out of it, I'm happy. Getting a 4k in <5 min is not as fun for me as drawing the game out to like 10min with any killer, regardless of number of escapes. (Also because BP. I always joke I'm playing killer to farm big killer blood points.)
-
I've never related to a post as much as this one lmao.
But big same about DS. I was so excited when I first got it, but I couldn't tell you the last time I ran it. It sits unused if I put it on.
As for Adrenaline, I don't totally hate it, but I've also started switching it out for other perks because I, too, am boosted and always die. 😂 Once again, unused perk slot.
For both, there are definitely more synergistic perk builds to use that don't need either perk.
-
Literally. If I face a few, I hear her lullaby in all games and then I hear it in my dreams. So good though.
-
I think it favors killer animation, so if you've pressed 'close hatch' before they've pressed 'leave through hatch,' then it'll close it on them.
-
I don't play all the killers, but here are the ones that I have played/like to play. I'm not actually GREAT at most killers, so like my 'best' efforts would be a good killer player's medium efforts aha. Not in any particular order within the rows.

good to know, I like that the killer fight during the game, and when I am the last and they let me live I see it as something very kind, and I always thank him. I as a killer also do it if he deserve it.
Yeah, I definitely don't do it if the last survivor was like flashlight-clicking or pallet-tbagging me all game, but if they just played normal, I don't see a reason not to. It's also possible to Merciless double-pip if you've gotten enough hook states (I've done it before), so I don't see that last hook for the 4k as necessary. More than happy with a 3k most games. n_n
-
If it's anyone before the last survivor, they get hooked; I may just take them to a further hook for map balance.
For the last person, it's always a toss-up between hatch and hook. I like giving people the hatch, but I don't like the wiggling mechanic when carrying a survivor, so if they wiggle, I'll give a little head shake, and if they keep wiggling, I'll hook them. I just don't want to deal with the pull and stun of it. But also it totally depends on how the game was going. I haven't had a game recently where it fit to give last person hatch (ie. too quick a game, couldn't find last person so it made more sense to close hatch, etc.).
-
I don't think Head On needs buffs; it's pretty solid where it is, and it just got that QoL buff of the visual timer.
-
My crush on Trapper is VERY LARGE. 😍😭
-
Deja Vu was great for me when I first started playing the game because I wasn't used to gen spawns (or playing the game in general). Now it's p much useless for me.
Kindred on the other hand is an amazing perk that really helps while solo queueing. Even for players brand new to the game, Kindred is the better option.
-
I've been running Spine Chill, Balanced Landing, Urban Evasion, and We'll Make It recently. I've never been a super stealth player, but to be able to escape a chase using BL into UE is such a thrill. This also helps a lot with safe hook rescues!
-
Doing anything to SWFs that directly affects solo players in the lobby with them is not a viable solution.
I think the real issue is that people have become so obsessed with getting the 4-5 gen 4K that the second it's difficult, they want nerfs for the other side. But with ranking going from 1-20 and people in the game having a range of 0-thousands of hours, there's no possible solution without totally ######### over newer players. There's just too wide of a disparity in game talent for blanket solutions.
I play on PS4, so I know my experience is different from PC players, but if I go against a SWF, I usually have no idea it's happening. (I'm too lazy to check friends and also I do not care enough.) When I lose, it's usually because I've been paired with people well above my killer rank or because I'm attempting Nurse lmao (or just had a bad day, it happens). The one time I was absolutely positive I was facing a SWF, I got a Merciless 4K (with Legion on Pale Rose) because they hook-rushed and constantly went for flashlight saves, so they ignored gens for altruism and eventually I got them all slugged and hooked just to stop being blinded.
I'm sure the stats might have changed, but the last time stats were released for rate of SWFs v solos, they were a very small percentage. Could definitely vary by rank, but still a small percentage overall. But if you're trying to nerf red rank depip squads, those effects will also go for a group of four new people just learning the game. And then they'll get frustrated and stop playing because it's tough at the beginning. But even a full red rank squad isn't necessarily trying to derank killers. I always use my friends and I as examples when I respond to these things, but at our best, we're in red/purples, usually R1-R4-R5-R7. And we are DUMB. Because - shocker - some people just play for fun.
And if it's obvious you're not gonna get a bunch of kills in the match, just work on practicing a skill or getting bloodpoints, take the L, and move onto the next match. And if that's really difficult, go outside for some fresh air. But calling for blanket nerfs is not a viable solution to this "problem."
-
You can report in the post-game screen. On PS4 at least, next to the name, it's just clicking the thumbs down and choosing the unsportsmanlike conduct reason (AFK is listed under it). If they're genuinely AFK for a random reason, they won't get banned off one standalone report, but if it's something they continually do and continually get reported for doing, I think that's when BHVR looks into a ban.
-
The reason I rarely run it is because I almost never got it to proc. I'd only get the chance for one or two skill checks in two heals. I'd definitely love if it had an increased chance of triggering skill checks to actually make it a viable perk.
