It isn't a second delay after shocking people, it's 3 seconds, gives the survivor enough time to camp the pallet and throw it on your face before you can hit them lol. Your power stuns you longer than it stuns the survivor, this dev team really makes me laugh. This is a nerf to the doc, not a buff my guy. Also snap out of it regresses you to madness t1 not t2, another nerf. Also it is far easier to snap out of it since it is like healing now, you can finish it later.
Here you are, the leaked notes, which are very likely to be accurate based on past leaks. https://imgur.com/a/9bipeqm

It's a 3 second stun for the Doctor, your power in chase is gone.
I was basing my opinion purely off the designer notes (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/117488/). I did not know about or read the leaked notes.

It's good information, but no good gen slow.
Hex Ruin is slow down. A generator only has to regress for 8 seconds for it to lose 5% (the same amount as old Hex Ruin).
-
Couldn't you defend Ruin better with Surveilance though? For survivors to know you have Ruin, they would have to work on a generator (survivors will probably not auto-assume you have Ruin after the change). If they get off the generator and you are not nearby, they are probably looking for your Ruin, which means gives you the cue to go check it. Having Surveilance also reduces the amount of generators you need to patrol, which makes easier to defend Ruin.

How do you cancel your chainsaw as Billy?

I think it is fine. The top tier killers are good enough for red ranks and most low to medium tier killers are good enough for purple ranks.
-
Demogorgon is only playable at red ranks if they are stupid enough to cleanse your portals. Otherwise, he gets gen rushed.
-
I think the new map is heavily killer sided because of the tiny map size, massive cluster of nearby generators, centre basement location, and being able to go to the centre of the map to scout. I almost always 4 kill on that map.

It means it increases the range from which a trap can be triggered.
Is the trap trigger range global? I am confused because this can mean 2 things. Does the proc range affect how close a survivor must be to a trap to trigger it or does it increase the distance the Hag can be away from a trap and have it still trigger?

If you run to the exit gates, you risk getting teabagged.

I used to place portals right next to gens as well, but now I find placing them nearby but just out of sight causes enough confusion due to survivors not quite knowing where to run away that I can get a hit sooner than if they immediately ran from the portal in a straight line as soon as they see you emerge.
That only works the first time though then they know the portal location.

So the video I shown you isn’t normal gameplay because the Nurse player is doing well? I sent you over 3 videos of different YouTubers using nurse and somehow it isn’t normal gameplay? Keep in mind that in every video the survivor team are high ranked but still lost.
Secondly, you know the killer can perform well, but yet to still made this forum? At this point it sounds like you are just making excuses.
Your point doesn’t make sense because what’s stopping you from watching a live stream of a person playing nurse? This isn’t rocket science.
I don’t think you have any evidence to prove he lost more games than he won with nurse so once again, stop making up excuses.
You understand that the survivors in oh tofu video were all red ranks meaning they are experienced players. Also, this isn’t a new killer, it’s the same killer that just received a nerf. So if anything, the killer should be the one struggling instead of the survivors.
Finally, you are showing you are making excuses because you talk about a 4 hour video of nurse being a top tier killer, but no one sent you a 4 hour video and somehow someone has already provided you footage? Okay.
I knew I should have not replied when I read your previous response. Arguing with low IQ gets me no where.

It would be interesting to have more people post their stats here.

Literally just drop the pallet early. Then 2 of their perks (Nemesis and PWYF) are almost completely wasted.

First off, is ptb not there to test out the killer and see how she will perform with the addition of having feedback for the killer? So explain why survivors wouldn’t try against the nurse? Also, keep in mind all those survivors were all red rank players but he still came out of it with a 4K without add ons.
Secondly, do you still not understand why nurse is viable or should I just explain it?
If you have not noticed, this discussion is already over as someone has already provided me footage demonstrating Nurse as top tier. But anyway, if you had read the original post, I stated
I do not want clips of matches where the Nurse did well. I want footage representative of a normal gaming session. I want to see at least 4 hours of gameplay.
There is no point of providing me a clip of a single match where he does well because I do not know how he performs with the Nurse on average. He could have lost 10 matches in a row before he got that one 4 kill.
Also, the major downside to providing a PTB match is inexperience. Most people are experiencing the new changes for the first few times. Survivors will adapt as they get more experienced. Killers can change their opinion as they get more games in. For instance, Otz highly regarded the Nurse during his game on the PTB (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LgjuMzMYcQ) saying that she has barely changed; however, his opinion after 2 months is completely different. He thinks the Nurse is significantly more difficult and is unsure where she lands on the tier list.

Was the killer's name "wasting your time"?

Watch knightlight on twitch, pretty sure he streams everyday and he only uses 2 perks most of the time,no slowdown perks at all.
After watching some of his vods, my opinion has changed. Nurse is top tier but I could not determine if she was the best killer since he 4 kills every game with all the killers he plays. Regardless, this has answered my question.

People who usually complain about the new nurse are either not good or can’t accept the fact they can’t always get a 3k or more each game.
What was the point of posting that video? 3 people escaped and it was from the PUBLIC TEST BUILD, where people are barely trying to win. As I said, I want video evidence from the people calling Nurse the best killer or top tier. This is not really about whether she is viable or not.

I only like red rank when I am playing op stuff because red ranked survivors are the most cocky and stomping them feels good. Otherwise, I prefer purple ranks.

Can you stream some gameplay of him?

NOED and Ruin are the only good Hex perks. Though, NOED is only good if you run it on a killer that can M1 survivors easily. The main reason why most Hex perks are bad is that most of them take too long to become impactful and good survivors do not actively look for hex totems. They just randomly stumble upon them and cleanse it, so the extra time you gain from it is mostly the totem cleansing time. The reason why Hex Ruin is not bad is it has immediate impact from the start of the game unlike the other Hex perks. Regarding why some specific perks are mediocre,
Devour Hope: you must be at least 24 m away from the hook. This is bad for 3 genning
Hex Haunted Ground: it gives you 1 survivor kill usually

I'm not sure how you would prove that. I could be running DS in a match where someone else DCs right off the bat.
I could have been 1 hooked and never had a chance to use it.
Maybe the killer had a Mori or is simply slugging to death.
Maybe I'm a potato who was afk all game or (and this last one fits me VERY well) I was the only one not getting chased and only get hooked at the end of the game where the perk does nothing (last survivor).
I feel it would be difficult because this game has such a large variance as to why player-X survived/died. Its also why I don't like the survive/kill stats we get now, they are far to vague as to perk builds/DC and you don't know if people where just messing around.
I see your point. The survivor that had DS may never have been hooked and therefore the perk had no impact. Including such a game would probably dillute the data. Maybe only games where the DS ability became available at any point in the game should be included.

Although I don't think DS is an anti-tunnel perk because so many times in my matches the user with DS active MAKES themselves a high priority target by working on a gen or going for a save and then according to the perk and survivors I tunneled.
If they started to work on their main objective for at least 10 seconds then I haven't tunneled. Anyway without going too much off-topic, this will be hard to track because DS CAN be used as an anti-tunnel perk and it will be hard to tell if the numbers are high due to it being an invincibility perk for 60 second perk or if a lot of killers tunneled that survivor.
Regardless of whether it is an anti-tunnel perk or an invincibility perk, if it is overperforming, it should be nerfed. To elaborate, if they hypothetically made a perk that said, "become immune for the rest of the game after being unhooked", it would be an anti-tunnel perk but definitely overperform.

You assume DS activates, which, in red ranks, it does not. Even if it does clutch out a niche situation or so that won't affect the outcome of the match more than any other A+ tier perk. But we will both see the numbers if they come and see who was right.
If you pick a survivor with DS up, you get DSed. If you do not, you are forced to slug. It does something in both cases. It does not need to activate to be useful. I should mention if you pick the slugging route, the survivor essentially gets 120 seconds of uninterrupted time because DS would be available the next time they are hooked again. Now if 4 survivors ran DS, that is up to 8 minutes of uninterrupted time in the best case scenario.
For the people saying DS only comes into play if you tunnel, I do not really think so. Otz regularly complains about DS and he is one of the nicest killers that often goes out of his way to avoid tunneling.

I agree. Please bring back Nurse with 3 blinks in her base kit and 115% movement speed and instant Moris.

I mean, I can only talk about what I said so I didn't understand why that was being said. Also, I watched the game and Otz ######### up 3 times right in the beggining of the match, and I clocked the gen: it took 34 seconds for the first gen to pop lol. Also, my original point is still valid that a good nurse would still dominate, so a clip of Otz ######### up his blinks only really proves he is not the best nurse (what he openly admits because he hates the killer)
My point being is that if you take the opinion from someone about Nurse that person should also have a good amount of game play showing that they are a proficient Nurse at red ranks (post-nerf). Otz saying Nurse is the strongest and playing like that is not particularly convincing.

He played her again today, and won. This discussion actually motivated me to go to some popular streamers and ask them, and I clipped their responses. Zubat said nurse was still viable
Their opinion could not be representative of their game play. For example, Otz calls Nurse the best killer but this is what it actually looks like when he plays https://www.twitch.tv/videos/518788655?t=02h06m14s. He literally got bullied the entire game and only got kills at the end because the survivors got extremely cocky.

*Shrugs in Confusion*
Original poster says Nurse add on abusers quit playing Nurse.
You are saying Nurse add on abusers are still playing Nurse.
There is a clear contradiction here and only one or the other can be right. I do not know how I can make the explanation more simple.

That logic doesn't make sense considering people that mained nurse and did what he said would still try to play the killer, but have a hard time
So, the original poster was wrong then. They stated the bad Nurse players that relied on add ons QUIT playing Nurse. If they are still playing Nurse, then the original poster was wrong.

@laurelstroodle said:
If I need tbh nurse's kill rate dropped cause they increased their skillcap cause she was easy af to play with addons, you just had to play for a complete day and you already are decent playing her and say welcome to the 4k party.
And if I remember most nurses I faced relied on omega blink or 3 blinks so since they nerfed those addons all of them quit playing nurse.
I think you are the one not understanding. If all the bad Nurses that relied on add ons quit playing Nurse, then the only players playing Nurse right now are the good players that did not rely on addons. That means good Nurse players right now have a 40% kill rate.

It looks like it might've been one of those gens that can be done from all four sides. Maybe they were on the side that's the farthest away from the portal?
Either way, Demogorgon's portal tracking ability sucks. The range is #########. I've had gens where only one of the sides was blocked off (I could place a portal that would face the front, back, and other side) and the portal still wouldn't track them. It seems like you need both range add-ons for it for the tracking to at least do something. Also, they apparently don't track the Survivor if they're inactive (as in, you haven't teleported to or from that portal).
Ok. I did not know about the inactive thing. It was probably inactive.

The main issue I have with nerf is really just the blink recharge. It is so stupid if your blink is partially recharged like 99%, you lose all that progress if you blink before it fully recharges. Then you have to wait for the whole recharge again.
