When I get the game crash screen, for sure.
Honestly though, it happened twice yesterday. Had to restart my laptop - Hopefully it was just my internet having a rough day.
๐
-
Here's mine:
S - Jake, Leon, Felix,
A - (New Quentin), Jeff,
B - David, Dwight, Steve, Ace, Adam,
C - Bill, Ash, Tapp,
And one for the Ladies:
S - Jill, Yui,
A - Feng, Meg, Cheryl,
B - Nea, Claudette, Kate (I'm so gonna die for putting her here), Nancy, Zarina, Elodie,
C - Yun Jinn Lee, Laurie, Jane,
Looking forward to seeing everyone else's.
-
I've got to admit that I go after Leon a lot as killer...
I think I'm just naturally magnetised towards him. If you get my drift. ๐
-
My preferred build is Tinkerer, Surveillance, Ruin and Make your Choice.
I personally think that she is reasonably well balanced, though I'm a bit biased as I pay her often.
:)
-
Nope.
I'm keeping my PlayStation Two and you can god-damn try to pry it out of my cold dead hands; when I'm six feet under.
But seriously, just no. Not everyone can upgrade to the newest stuff (nor does everyone want to.)
-
Our Quentin has been saved ๐
(Even if the neck is... a bit. Odd?)
-
You wouldn't like to hear what I've been doing today then...
At least my pig is almost P3 now
-
I brought the twins and got BBQ and chilli in the shrine
-
Ideally, I'd love to see the Pig get one.

I wouldn't know, my friends and I don't really talk about who has what security features.
Yeah, same thing here. Thanks for the heads up nonetheless ๐
Much appreciated.

I thought he said sausage and red onion?
-
Ouch, that sounds like quite the easy trap to fall into.
Do the scammers get past the Steam Mobile Authentication as well, though?
-
I thought you were gonna say 'but what if I'm a Masochist?'
Anyone else thought that, or was it just me? ๐
-
Yes, I love this too. They did a similar thing with the clock tower in silent hill, to unlock a chest.
Other than that, that's the only other thing like this that I've heard of (for now, anyway.)
Also loving what looks like a sacrificial table in the temple room. ๐

Both Pig and Oni are good - I can't say much about Nemesis really, as I only played him in the PTB.
I'd save up shards for Oni, then buy Pig. I personally, just wait till a chapter is on sale and grab whatevers cheapest first.
-
Me to myself when I somewhat remotely agree with a Sluzzy post:
-
This actually sounds like something I'd do by accident (If I were good enough to get them all at 5 gens, that is)
-
Yeah, I think it's that the map is now active in public matches as normal - but that the offering is still disabled.
-
I am the epitome of mediocrity.
-
Not since the PTB, when I was stomping around it as Nemesis.

Appreciate the sentiments! Including the various consoles, or giving them their own PTB, ain't likely to happen. It's mainly due to the game files being changed for the Steam PTB version each run, and whenever you change game files Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo all individually have to certify them.
This can take 3-5 business days typically, but for instance Trickster came out a week late solely because one of those didn't certify it in time. Unlike Steam which takes like hours or even minutes.
Ahh... I always wondered what was in the way of getting PTB's for consoles.
Thanks for the info. ๐

Add an old lady! We don't have any! They can start by being more diverse with ages.
I for one would actually love this:
Take a second to just imagine an 80 year old vaulting windows and using sprint burst as fast as any other Survivor.
That'd be sick.
-
Clearly PTB's need to be implemented on console. But when this will be, I'll never know.
I feel like a bit of a prick because while I can play it just fine, there are plenty of others that can't even play the game due to freezes and lag.
If there's one thing I want for this anniversary event, it's for everyone to enjoy it.
Sadly that isn't happening.
-
PSA: (for those that don't know) The cakes will stack.
A BloodHunt Event would be much appreciated, though.

Yes, we are? An online game without updates is a dead game lol.
Exactly. That's what I'm trying to get at here.
The Dev's could have easily left this game as it was a long while ago and called it a 'finished product'.
No updates, no events, nothing.
Sure, they wouldn't have been able to have monetise it the game as much, (or gain access to more liscenses) but they would have another game title under their belt and had the time to move over to other projects.
Instead they've chosen to sink more time and effort into this game. If it's purely for monetisation or keeping their game alive, is for another discussion.
But not all games get free events and updates and not every game stays at a reasonable popularity after five whole years.
Regardless of the reason, this game is still alive.
So even if we do get an apparently 'dog #########' anniversary event, just be lucky we actually have one in the first place.
I for one, will definitely still be taking part.
Edit: I should have labelled this comment as "Unpopular Opinion Number 2."
-
Hate to be the one to point this out; but you do all realise that we're not entitled to new updates and regular content, right?
Just saying...
-
Twins.
I just find little Victor a bit difficult to counter, especially considering the fact that in the heat of the moment; I often forget that I can just kick him.
๐
-
The Steam forum was pretty dull and samey. So I came here and I'm glad to say that I'll stick around.
-
Luckily mine worked fine first try... Took me around two hours to install though.
-
Yeah, I remember in the PTB it was a bit too bright for me as well...
-
Answered honestly and got Wraith.
-
I never ran it in the first place. DS is a bit more situational and I'd rather run a perk that I know for sure I'll be getting some value out of.
-
Yeah, I always read a tome archive as soon as I've unlocked it.
-
Not being mean on purpose, but I saw the new David character model images and instantly thought it was a meme from the DbD Twitter person.

Oh man, I wasn't even thinking of times I've been stung. I have so many stories to the point I actually freak out if I'm around bees terrified of being stung yet again.
When I was probably in 2nd grade my aunt and uncle were visiting from out of state with my cousins. My aunt and uncle decided they'd go to church while they were up and had convinced me to go by saying we'd go to beach after since church they were going to was by it. Was just myself, aunt, uncle, and one of my cousins.
End of church walking out I was stung by a yellow jacket on my middle finger on the inside by middle knuckle. I start crying because I'm a kid and it hurt wicked bad. My cousin makes fun of me for crying saying it's because I'm a girl and we get in argument with me saying my being a girl isn't why I'm crying, bee stings hurt and he'd be crying too if he was stung, that if boys are so tough he should go get stung and prove he won't cry.
My aunt and uncle decide we should skip beach and head home instead to take care of the sting. So now I'm crying because my finger hurts and I'm pissed I'm missing the beach - the thing that convinced me to go and I had I not been convinced to go I wouldn't have been stung. After that anytime my aunt/uncle were visiting or I visited them it was a big nope to going to church, I learned my lesson. ๐
Aw, yeah. I still love bees though.
Wasps are still interesting to look at too - though I wouldn't stick around one for too long. ๐
Here's a screenshot of something interesting I found out online.
And yes, you did read the title correctly:
For context, the Giant Hornet the article refers to - also known affectionately as the Murder Hornet, is named so for thier effectiveness at wiping out bee colonies (not people).
So please don't have any bad dreams about these. I just love sharing odd things like this whenever I get the chance. ๐
-
Wow, this thread really blew up while I was gone ๐
Many thanks for sharing all your moments.
Got a couple more that I remembered here:
________________________________________
Back in Primary school (I think I was aged 7-9 at the time), we had a little garden area with tyres, wildflowers and some small trees.
Anyway, there was this random paving slab sitting face down on the dirt; we liked to jump on it because it wobbled a bit.
I decided to try and lift the slab, while two of my friends were playing on it.
In my defense, I did manage to lift it a bit - at the cost of half my finger nail falling off and a big scrape and bruise on the same finger too.
________________________________________
Also another one at a similar age, happened when I was walking with my mother to go swimming at the local outdoor pool.
We were walking down an alleyway, flanked either side by bright green leafy hedges that always seemed to attract a lot of wasps at that time of year.
Basically a wasp flew right into my eyelid.
Like RIGHT at it, kamikaze style.
We couldn't even find the rest of its body. There was just its abdomen hanging off my eyelid with the stinger stuck to me.
Anyway, mum plucked it out and we went swimming. Lol.
God knows what speed or direction it was going in to end up crashing into my eye like that though...
________________________________________
I'll always remember that as the day a wasp's arse got stuck in my eyelid... ๐

So far, I've only got Nea and Meg.

OP asking the real questions here...
Damn though, I really can't decide on who would win.

Hello everyone, after a few months of scouting materials and ordering a few others and sloppy this bad boi together im proud to say that I have made a pretty good looking replica of a hex totem, I used real oak branches and coated them so they wouldn't rot away and secured everything together using twine and super heavy duty clear caulking, used moss for the bottom and remote control candles, long story shot alot of love went into this guy but I was thinking about making more and possibly seeing If I could sell some on etsy or ebay, just curious if this post catches anyone's eye on here before I move forward, probably don't wanna sell this one but just for example if yall were to see something like this and it were listed around the $500-$1,000 area would that make anyone consider wanting to buy one, the price range is so drastic because I was thinking about doing different packages where you could build it yourself or have it all done already....
Anyways let me know what yall think, thanks!!
That looks amazing, really good job on getting some realistic touches to the piece as well. ๐

So, with the resident evil chapter coming out in 11 days, I've been thinking about cool stuff they could do or maybe missed opportunities. Much like the Twins having a somewhat dynamic Mori depending on whether or not Victor is there. I'd love it if Nemesis could somehow utilize the zombies to eat the survivor as a Mori. I haven't quite thought about how it would work. Would you just drop a 2 hooked survivor near a zombie and hit a button? Maybe the zombies could just kill and eat survivors who have been hooked twice and get downed by a zombie? I dunno, I just think it would be cool if they did something like that. Thoughts? :)
Sounds cool :D

Someone telling me to suicide is not filtered, but when I talk about Harry Potter, I see this "Harry ######". Why not remove filters if they don't work?
Ouch, it's never nice seeing ######### like that.
Even though it's not my fault, I still feel the need to apologize for that person's behaviour.
I hope the rest of your games today are more positive in the chat ๐

(Work in progress, actual color may be different upon release)
Not gonna lie, but I'm really digging that blue colour.
Fun fact: Chemicals can change the colour of a flame.
I remember in our chemistry department, we had a cool poster similar to this...
depicting a selection of neat colours you could get from these reactions.
So pretty.

Detective's Hunch.
Because I hate running around like a headless chicken trying to find either gens or totems.
-
If someone's clearly hacking then I would stay long enough to get my evidence.
Luckily, I've never had to do this before.
Another instant 'give up' kind of situation, is when my frame rate sinks like the Titanic (usually when playing killer.)
-
I'd say Pyramid Head.

Apparently it's going to be like this:
But don't quote me on this, please. XD
I'm unsure as to whether this is a final version or if it's subject to change.

Mine was Trapper :)

Yeah, I'd love a jigsaw piece charm! Now that I think of it, I really want one now.
I'm glad there's a few people on here that have autism like me, heh.
Also I really like your take on the pride charm thing, love ya man โฅ๏ธ
Haha, maybe I should do a quick concept art of the charm :)
Aww, thanks man. I'm glad that I got into this game because the community here can be so nice and heartwarming at times. โฅ๏ธ
