I generally get 15 minute wait for Survivor. For Killer I usually get 2 seconds.
-
Decisive Strike: should only be activated if you are within the Killer's terror radius when you are unhooked.
That's how I would change it anyway. I'm tired of the guy running across the map just to get me to knock him and pick him up so his buddy can run free.
-
If people really want comms, I think we should go about the Splinter Cell way.
Survivors can talk but the Killer can hear you talking. The closer you are to the Killer the louder your communication is to the Killer.

Bubba, Billy, and Huntress.

To play devil's advocate here, what are you aiming to fix with this? The EGC isn't made to give you more kills or force people to leave while there's still things to be done (saves, etc.), and if they do refuse to leave, you can always open the gate to force them out yourself.
We know that what we want is to put pressure on survivors to make on the fly moves not just to all heal up at a 3 lit door then bone rush the hook because they can.
Opening the door your self as a Killer isn't very advantageous because it freely provides the Survivors a means of escape. Changing EGC to the last gen puts the pressure on survivors to make these so called last minute things.
This game is so survivor favored already how about cutting the Killers a break and actually making survivors sweat once in a while. "Do I look for his totem or do I save myself?, do I go for this unhook?" Give survivors a bit of stress room.
-
Just disable the survivors ability to see Jigsaw boxes you know so they actually have to go find them not just bounce from one to another.
-
Take it as a complement obviously you did something to gain that Killer's utmost hatred and as a survivor you should feel proud that you tore down yet another person trying to have fun.
-
I would like to see everything decrease with each Prestige. At P1 brown add-ons 2000, a yellow 3000, and a green 4000. At P2 Brown 1000, Yellow 2000, and green 3000 and so on it would be so much better.
-
EGC should start as soon as the last gen is done plain and simple.

Well. No your logic is flawed. One of the core mechanics of EGC is to make risky plays now that theres a timer until your instantly killed. Theres even bloodpoint events for pulling off said risky plays like unhooks. If survivors open the gate and they want to make an attempt to get everyone out that's on them if their attempt fails and they end up dying. Plus I also support what the other person said this would be a direct buff to bloodwarden and make some games unfair. personally EGC is fine right now. It can activate in the survivors or killers favor and now people cant stand in the exit gates forever just to waste killers time. No more hatch standoffs also
Yes now they just 3 light the door and wait for a so called "Risky Play". Be honest right now EGC is useless the only people who die to it are those who can't find the hatch and usually the last alive after the Killer closes it and the doors just so happen to be within viewing distance. To many games last indefinitely because they can just 3 light a door and suffer no penalty.

I feel like a change like this would overly buff some perks such as blood warden. If end game is triggered and they get the doors open when end game is already halfway through, blood warden can literally make it impossible to escape if someone gets hooked. I feel like it'd also make the end of the game go too fast, and would make it harder for people to get gates open. That's just my opinion
In all respects if the gate is open and someone is hooked it just means the survivors didn't run out after it was open.
This cha ge is more or less to stop teams from running around the map after the last gen is done and sitting on a 3 lit door.
Its to give incentive for the survivors to actually survive
-
I like it, I just hate the rain effect it play's with my ears.
-
Its not about the perks its about communication. This is a "HORROR" game every random heart beat you hear should install some amount of fear inside you. Now Introduce SWF When communication is added the game looses that horror aspect and creates an un-fun and definitely unfair environment.
-
I think a while back sometime around Freddy's release the Devs said something about making it expensive so people buy it over time instead of dropping a wad on it right away.
-
Don't be afraid to switch targets, Identify the three closest gens and protect them, Always break pallets that are on long loops. Last piece of advice Play in an unorthodox manner keep the survivors guessing your moves and stop trying to guess theirs.
-
Face it man, the Entity isn't feeding of the survivors anymore now its feeding off the Killers.
-
I would kill just for the option to choose if I want to play them.
-
Killer: To make myself laugh If I have a fun enough time I generally let everyone go.
Survivor: basically the same.
-
Cue the music. What no music okay. I love playing Clown getting up on a survivor and just unloading every single bottle on the back of their head before hitting them. It's my guilty pleasure.
-
I'm serious just code Totems to spawn in against three intersecting angles.
-
Let's Break it Down.
1.DS should just be reverted it solves nothing as it is now.
2.Dead Head, is that the perk that lets you get put into the dying state and gives you exhaustion?
3 Bottled Time. . . Well just keep swinging, just keep swinging.
-
I don't play Billy too much either but I never thought he need changing. Anyway it's the next thing Bhvr will change regardless of what anybody says.

Survivors rely on ds, bt, and adrenaline. Maybe all those should be nerfed too? There are other perks that help you escape so survivors should not rely on these perks. See how that works?
Adrenaline does need a nerf if your either on the Killers shoulder or on the Hook when the last Gen is done you should not just be insta-healed as soon as your pulled off the hook. That needs to be fixed.
-
I'm here to pay respects to the great perk that helped me nail great skill checks. Good on ye mate you'll be missed.
-
People are just mad about Insta-Saw that's low.

You can see how furious and tilted a killer is after they spent 4 gen repairs of time chasing you through loops.
I think it's a weak mental state to allow yourself to tunnel.
It's like taking the bait and arguing on forums and social media. Weak mental states pushed into a materialized attitude / action toward people.
I'm waiting for my diagnosis Doc is it fatal. It's okay you can tell me I won't cry. Maybe a little.
-
Ruin in it's current state is actually the best tool Survivors have oddly enough. Shove of hands If Ruin helped you get better at hitting great skill checks.
-
Nope, but to say that something anything in this game doesn't get you just a twinge of the eyebrow that's unbelievable.
-
@TheBilldozer said:
I don't tunnel or camp. I don't let my emotional state tilt me in a game.
I think camping and tunneling is more of a "I'm easily upset by things in my life and this is how I cope with it" sort of thing.
Oh someone's high and mighty.
-
DS makes me tunnel but I don't really camp.
-
My understanding is that there going to do something to try to bring in a lot of people very quickly.
In reality it's all survivor favored. Doc was never too much of a problem only really ever seen during Double Bloodpoints. Ruin doesn't need to be changed its actually the best learning tool Survivors have nail the box no regression perfect training to hit great skill checks. It's all casual player favored.
-
More objectives. I jump on do my daily's and then log off. At least with the Tome I had something to do with each game now I'm just waiting for the second Tome.
-
I ran. . . No seriously I ran in a straight line away from the Killer ahhhhh memories
-
If I want to smack the same survivor in the back of the head with all of Clowns bottles than by glory I'm gonna do it. Anyway please stop telling people how to play the game it will always end badly.
-
If I get a good laugh during the game I generally let all survivors go. But I never aim for a 4k unless there just being toxic as hell.
I really just can't wait for the next tome to come out and give me a second objective.

Alright kid, let me explain a concept called trickle down balance.
Red ranks are supposedly the best of the best right?
The ones who know the game and have spend a lot of time and effort to get where they were.
So what can we infer from that?
HMMMMMMMM
Probably that they know the game a lot ######### better than a rank 20, novel idea I know.
So, if something is balanced for the highest players then it should be balanced for everyone else.
Pretty simple concept.
And before you fall on "Well ruin makes it hard for me at rank 20."
Well yes, it's a strong perk at high ranks, but hmm, if only there was something you could do about that, if only there was some phrase that survivors tell killer mains all the time.
Let's not forget the Small Game Perk it actually still exists. Map's, Horrible totem spawns. Because let's be real its not hard to find it. but you know rank 20.
-
@Umbrae_pk said:
They don't? This is why they always make constant changes to their game? Constant changes to perks, maps, and certain killer powers? It's because they don't listen or care? Hm. Makes PERFECT sense.
You DO NOT understand how much the game has changed if only you've been around for a while.
The pallets have been less and less.
Slow vaults are now a thing.
Killers with traps who depend on early game have been getting buffs.
They nerfed insta- heals because they LISTENED to the killers
They nerfed the 2 most top tier killers because they HEARD the survivors.
And the list just goes on and on and on... Basically, yes, BHVR DOES listen to us. Most of you are just too entitled and ungrateful to realize is.
Nurse change, Oni change, Ruin change, Doc change.
Balanced Landing change.
Yeah sure they care, they proved they care about survivors tea-bagging as they loop those near infinite loops for 2 gens
-
@Izo_Quartz said:
Now killers will have to rely on their own skill to apply map pressure and stall out gens instead of depending on a perk that does their job for them with no required input from the killer, at the cost of a perk slot. And with this change, it's extremely likely that we'll get buffs to low teir m1 killers so that they'll be on the same level as high teir killers who have a lot of mobility. The best part about this is that in red/purple ranks, there will be a lot less bad killers who sweat for the 4k and a lot more killers that are genuinely good at the game, playing for fun.
My only critisisms about the hex: ruin changes is that it's a hex perk and can't be paird with gen-kicking related perks. The changes I would suggest is; it can be paird with gen-kicking related perks and once the hex totem is cleansed, the effect lingers for 90 seconds but regression is reduced to normal speed.
Yeah, about time those Killers learned to deal with juggling 4 survivors and all of the near infinite loops, safe pallets, voice comms, but yeah Killers need to learn to pressure the map sure.
-
You know I'm starting to think that the devs play swf this game kept getting 4k'd because non of them could hit a ruin skill check.
-
Honestly my friend Surge should become map wide just to give a slower Killers a bit more pressure.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Ruin nerfed because survivors cant hit SKILL checks
survivors proceed to tell killers to suck it up because they "have to make an effort now"
"Effort"...
Skill checks removed from ruin....
K.
I honestly didn't mind Ruin it's what actually made me good at hitting Great Skill checks. But I guess learning by actually doing is stupid now a days.
-
Why would it be Comm boxes are a so easy to find in bloodwebs its a crime. Socket swivels are an uncommon add-on too.
I'm honestly starting a count down to the day when Franklin's Demise gets nerfed because survivors can't find their items on the ground.
-
I just said screw it and started deranking. Everytime I'm about to hit purple just wait for rank reset.
-
Or it's because swf kept getting called out on the S.
-
@Almo said:
We expected outrage when doing a fundamental change to a perk used in such a large percentage of games. However, after playing with the new version, we're much happier with how it functions in the game as part of the whole system.
So can I see any of your gameplay because I feel like it might be very very different from actual gameplay.
-
It's swf dude they got their way.
-
Devs: Doc got nerfed, Spirit got nerfed, Ruin got nerfed. Oni got nerfed. That's it for the killers.
Swf: All we can spare is Balanced Landing.
Killers: Sprint Burst Immunity, nearly impossible loops, Gen Speed. DS, Adrenaline.
Devs: Yeah all were taking is Balanced Landing.
-
Hex:Ruin is used in more than 80% of Red Rank games and 45% of all games. Can I get an accurate time that Ruin stays active in these games. You can round up if you can't give me an accurate number.

The devs are genuinely worse at balancing than Riot.
Which is ######### saying something.
It just blows my mind man.

i just stick around for the memes. well, this game is a meme. no point to really play anymore.
I'll agree to that as well. I usually blast Starbomb, or Stacy's Mom, sometimes Shots while I play.
