  • The hindered isn't changed but the screen no longer blurs while they're drugged.

  • I find it's heavily map dependent, on a map like The Game it's about the same power level as Pain Res/Pop but on larger maps like Garden or Asylum it's a bit mediocre.

  • I feel like proper turret setup requires cooperation most soloQ teams just arn't capable of. I rarely see turrets in my Xeno games and when I go 75% of the time they're out in the open or right next to the tunnel, a well placed turret is a nightmare and basically ends the chase on the spot but I think people don't want to spend of the time doing that. If you want to use it as an alarm system I actually think that's certainly viable but at least still put it behind something so it's kinda hidden and actually run when it's going off. You can hear the gens from inside the tunnels so if the alarm is going off very rapidly just leave immediately because 99.9% of the time that Xeno will be coming out of the tunnel next to you.

  • I get they were trying to solve the Victor hostage crisis and the slugging issue with this change and to give BHVR credit they're very close to doing that they just need to do one thing with these current changes.

    1. Make Victor latch on every hit down or injure

There now it'll be harder for Twins to snowball and slug and survivors are playing a very dangerous game taking Victor hostage because Charlotte will be zooming around the map if the don't get rid of him.

  • I think the franchise is overrated for reasons already stated, it's creatively bereft and confuses grossing people out with genuine horror.

Also the creator of the franchise actually already lobbied for it to come to DBD and BHVR has showed zero interest in it.

  • Singularity's teachable are interesting cuz they're bad but all so close to being good.

Genetic Limits is good in theory but exhaustion perks aren't the must bring perks they used to be and you never know when somebody is actually being effected. This perk is supposedly getting changed soon so we'll see if it can be redeemed.

Forced Hesitation is his best perk and with infectious fright you will absolutely destroy altruistic flashlight teams with it.

Machine Learning is weird cuz when it does trigger it's absolutely busted but you will generally only trigger it once per game cuz of the weird need to kick a gen and then kick another gen trigger. I don't think there's any reason it shouldn't trigger on every gen kick but then that gen actually needs to pop and every time you guess wrong you lose out on an activation which is why it only triggers once or twice a game. I think they should drop the undetectable and the kicking requirement from the perk and give it the same trigger as tinkerer and make you speedy every time a gen is close to popping.

  • I promise ping ponging hooks between two survivors until they're dead isn't that hard.

  • It's a very good end game perk and still decent before then. I think it would be alright to increase it to 15 seconds though.

  • Survivor

    1. Mikaela
    2. Jake
    3. Jeff
    4. Kate
    5. Yui
    6. Meg
    7. Ace
    8. Felix
    9. Nea
    10. Bill

    Killer

    1. Plague
    2. Wraith
    3. Twins
    4. Hag
    5. Clown
    6. Demogorgan
    7. Deathslinger
    8. Dredge
    9. Nemesis
    10. Trapper
  • Buff: Dredge, literally does not have a power on some maps and is horribly inconsistent overall. Buff their teleport speed and make Haddie's Calendar basekit.

Nerf: Nurse, I would say rework but that's never happening. Make her power cool down longer and more punishing to miss with. She's too forgiving for being the strongest character in the game.

Rework: Freddy, idk how all you can come up with is a slowdown puddle at loops and a teleport that gets disabled in end game. Go back to the drawing board with this one. You can literally do anything you want with a character that can infiltrate people's dreams.

  • "Gutted" they took away two seconds of the speed burst with two changes everyone thought the perk needed. It's literally still a top 5 perk lmao.

As for WoO I don't think it'll get touched it does nothing that crazy it just gives awareness to unaware people.

  • I could always be wrong but looking at the add ons these are the add-ons probably being changed for twins they all either buff something that's being buffed in this ptb or have to do with crushing victor when attached which is now an outdated mechanic.

    1. Toy Sword
    2. Tiny Fingernail
    3. Bloody Black Hood
    4. Baby Teeth
    5. Weighty Rattle
    6. Sewer Sludge
    7. Rusted Needle

I'm actually excited for these as 4 of these are probably gonna do something completely new and could change how we view this rework a lot. It also means the speed add-ons likely arn't being touched which is kinda terrifying tbh.

  • I've seen people say this and I don't think it's entirely true. Before you wanted to work on pairs against Twins in case Victor downed someone so you could kick him. Now you just want to play like it's legion and spread out so it's better for Victor to just get the down instead of trying to look for other people.

Like trying to hit and run as Victor is going to waste so much time considering you can't see scratch marks.

  • Adren is still fine but the speed burst duration nerf should be removed, Ultimate Weapon is one of the most overtuned perks in the game in relation to value to what you have to do to use it with how long you get it. It's just free knowing where everyone is every 30 seconds while also making them all blind.

UW isn't even bad now it's just more in line with other info perks, like there's no gd way NTH is so common but they do the same thing for lockers people call that perk useless. It's literally NTH you get 3x longer and is now buffed by lethal pursuer. At the very least every Nurse, Blight and Wesker player should be cheering from the rooftops on what a massive gift they've been given with this change.

EDIT: UW aura is only 3 seconds apparently, it's still gonna be amazing on Nurse, Blight and Wesker but not as strong for other killers which honestly fine with.

  • Huge W change on ultimate weapon, it's no longer the free game sense perk it currently is and more like a nowhere to hide but for lockers.

As far as Twins go love everything being faster that was the number 1 thing I wanted and I think the speeds they have listed are good, Victor not latching on to healthy survivors kinda sucks and cuz I used to play Twins like a better Knight where I'd unleash Victor fairly close to a gen get the hit then come from an off angle with Charlotte to get the down so that's going away which kinda sucks. Charlotte being 126.5% when Victor is one someone is interesting, I know the idea is to help Charlotte hook someone faster but why would I not just use it to down an injured survivor instead and create more pressure? Also thinking about it I don't think I'd ever wanna get the first hit with Victor now cuz they didn't change his cooldown on a hit it looks like and that recovery is sooooooo long. I think now you probably wanna get a hit with Charlotte then as they W key away have Victor finish the job.

  • Does this bump Blight from S to top of A tier do you think?

I still think Blight will be the 2nd best killer in the game but this might make them not entirely busted anymore.

  • This is fine and all but if we go back to a DS/DH/Unbreakable/Windows meta that would be the funniest gd thing in the world.

  • So I predicted 2/3 of these and those are fine, the speed burst time reduction is not needed imo.

It only works once and at the end of the game, perk isn't dead people are overreacting like always but they should either revert the speed burst change completely or just reduce it to 4 seconds.

  • The post seems very "I'm winning 99 out of 100 games and it's very unfair it's not 100 out of 100" coded.

  • Remember when games were fun and we weren't wondering if someone's soul should be damned for all eternity because they played in an effective way that may or may not have been fun for the other side?

  • I think it's still Spirit she still absolutely dominates chases with a good headset.

    For me it's

    3. Spirit

    4. Artist

    5. Plague/Billy

I actually think Chucky goes down a decent bit in the tier list with the 180 nerf, still A tier but I don't think they're even in the discussion for top 5 personally and Wesker is too fair atm to be top 5.

Yeah, I've been dodging TTVs because the Killer just wants them so bad they'll ignore everyone else and then the TTVs get angry and either DC or give up on 1st hook

I feel terrible for them but it happens so often that I just decide to dodge

I ❤️ Yoichi too! I don't get BM when I play as him fortunately

Do you know why Killers hate TTVs so much? I don't get it because there are plenty of TTVs that play as Killer too

For me it's not that I hate TTVs although most of them are very obviously not cut out for it when I watch them. When I see a TTV sometimes I prioritize them because I want to give them content cuz I imagine just doing gens isn't the most interesting thing to watch for viewers.

  • I don't think I like this, it looks like Victor pins the survivor down so they can't crawl away but also can't go after other people but if you down someone across the map with Victor and have to go across the entire map as Charlotte to hook them to get access to Victor again that's soooooo bad.

  • Where are people seeing all these SMs?

I've seen one in 85 games and it was a 3 man out.

  • I feel like if everyone ran this kill rates wouldn't sky rocket or anything but they would be noticeably higher. Recording my games this season has made me realize this game is balanced by people not running the strongest builds and instead memes a lot not because BHVR has actually balanced the perks effectively.

If you honestly think lockers aren't a big deal for survivors, then you should be fine if the extra lockers are killer-only, and survivors can't hide in them.

Alternately, you should be fine if the extra lockers are ONLY added for specific killers, and the rest of the killers get the current locker amounts.

What if we just let lockers be lockers and not be scared of the red death traps that let you one shot survivors?

  • Your solo teammates do gens?

  • Greed mostly, if you have a one shot ability it's very tempting to think you have to use it all the time.

Not in theory. Quite literally. Edging the m2 does not slow you down, which makes this method completely viable. I use it every single match with the unknown.

I'm not saying you can't do it I'm saying in the reality of playing the game a lot of the time the hallucination is ready to spawn you're gonna be in chase.

Are you really gonna go drop chase constantly just to get the hallucination in the perfect spot?

  • Charlotte wouldn't move properly while Victor was out sometimes.

Sometimes I think Twins existence is a bug.

  • This is why while I think survivor needs a little bit of a buff they shouldn't buff it too much because I unironically think this game is much less toxic when survivor is weaker.

  • Hillbilly is working on a cloaking device.

  • I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary, NGL sometimes I think streamers blame every miss on aim dressing just like everything someone does is a "tech" of some kind.

  • It's wild to me pyramid head has one of the most bloated kits in the whole game and the devs could do anything more creative than range and then like 3 different classes of trail add-ons that all basically do the same thing.

How do you create a unique hook and status effect and not utilize them for the add ons?

If you know how to edge your power you can basically place the hallucinations anywhere you want.

In theory yes in practice you're going to be in chase most of the time one is ready to spawn.

BHVR should never add more lockers to maps, because that would be an unnecessary survivor buff.

BHVR should create a new killer-only locker, that killers can interact with, but survivors can't hide inside. And BHVR can fill in locker deadzones with these killer-only lockers. That would be the most fair solution.

There is absolutely no way my own two eyes are seeing someone suggest lockers are survivor sided in 2024.

  • Maybe the next rift?

  • I think Xeno is better personally, better mobility and map info with a power you can't really loop against.

Unknown is very good but it's difficult to get your hallucinations where you want them and it's still a killer you have to hit with 3 times.

People are gonna say turrets hold Xeno back like every Xeno isn't running E-Helmet, Star Chart or both and ike half of solos don't ignore the turrets completely.

i don’t think being able to heal only in basement and with 30 seconds speed is actually good, but wicked is kind of good. except this and champion of light all new perks are garbage, and most old ones too, which proves my point that BHVR is agaisnt survivors getting value from perks

It's 23 seconds to heal not 30 and it's 15.8 seconds I believe if you use it with botany knowledge.

  • Kinda underrated, she's a top 5 killer and can get downs from anywhere on the map provided you're good enough with a skill ceiling rivaling nurse.

One of my favorite killers in the game to be sure.

It's complicated because if I had played those matches with killers even stronger than SM like Oni, hag, wesker and pyramid head without any perks, I'm sure I would have lost.

The only reason I won some matches is because SM gets stronger as the game progresses because she can protect generators much easier than these killers.

So could Singularity or Pinhead some killers have built in slowdown and gen control but many call them both B tier like SM. Some killers just have better built in slowdown and gen control but have other weaknesses that hold them back usually mobility.

  • If a survivor stands out to me as very good and are trying their best and they have dumb teammates or teammates that give up I'll usually avoid that person and give them hatch.

  • I hate to break it to you but half the killer roster could do this so not sure this proves much of anything especially with such a low sample size.

pretty much every killer stopped bringing sloppy and pick rate got drastically lower. is that enough to prove sloppy sucks now?

I'm still seeing it occasionally on the killers you'd expect (wraith, hag, trapper, clown) and it definitely has an impact because it lasts long enough to still be active when you get unhooked.

It's not a top 10 perk anymore but it's definitely still meta for m1 killers.

  • Healing is the same speed it's been since it last got nerfed like a year ago?

Sloppy isn't even that bad you act like they killed the perk but it's still perfectly reasonable. The idea of nerfing anything on the survivor side is kinda insane at this point.

I would say at the present time killer is not the strongest it's ever been but survivor might certainly be the weakest it's ever been currently.

  • 2.5 which is what behavior already does.

  • So the tail is 4.8 meters and there are these things called flame turrets that can take them out of their power and warn you when they're coming I suggest using them.

Idk about skull merchant but I cannot take tofu seriously, my man seriously tought old slinger was S tier, absolute Lmao take, like sorry even if hes right I just remember that awfull explanation.

tbf that probably comes from tofu paying a lot of attention to comp and even to this day deathslinger they categorize slinger as a tier 2 killer with wesker and executioner purely because his 1v1 is good. I agree that it's a bit silly to ignore slinger's atrocious mobility but tofu's opinion isn't as out there as it might seem.
