Going to have to ask you to elaborate.
Because the way I see it both scenarios include someone choosing their own enjoyment over the integrity of their match and the consideration of others in order to get a match where they won't have difficulty winning.
One is related to player throwing during a game and the other is people trying to game the MMR before the game even starts
These are so vaguely related you might as well mention Meta slaving, tunneling or 4bnp comp squads.
You will almost never know if a killer lobby shopped but you will almost always know a survivor threw.

apple and oranges
-
"just look at the shards"
-
Also it should affect killer addons and maybe survivor items.
-
Not me but a survivor who i matched against had: No Mither, OoO, For the People and Selfcare
-
this has never happened to me, maybe i should play Skull merchant more often.

You don't see Killers DCing all the time when Survivors do their objectives in the shortest time possible.
It's a very immature, childish attitude to give up at the smallest inconvenience. If you're anticipating that you're gonna lose quickly, what's the big deal? You'll be in a new match in no time at all if you just stick it out and actually try to win anyway. If you do end up losing, who cares? At least it's giving you and your teammates a chance by sticking with it and helping them try to progress their objective.
The Survivor meta is literally a perfect counter to all the things you said you don't like versing. It's actually not a great stance you've taken up. The weaker Killers, even with full slowdown still struggle to get a single kill against Survivors that glue to gens and don't make stupid decisions like throw themselves at a hook. The stronger Killers will still struggle against Survivors that are glued to gens too. Yeah they have more tools to be able to strategize better than the rest of the roster, but they still have to try to compete against insanely quick gens speed. If you play safe against them, it minimises the frequency they can access their slowdown perks (since they're hook related).
Seriously, the entitled behaviour of "I don't like this, I quit" has plagued the community of DBD for years now. The Devs have done nothing to discourage Survivors crying and getting out of their pram. So now it's got to this stage where people justify why they have a childish attitude with the "it's X Killer, so it's fine" or "these perks are boring". If Killers were entitled like that, no one would ever be able to play out a full match.
So, to you, and all bottom Survivors with childish attitudes, if you feel like you are gonna lose, just do your objective. Glue yourself to gens. Chances are you will win or at least give your teammates a win. Instead of quitting and making your team lose because you're a bottom.
TBF from a killer perspective its not worth DC'ing, the game will end quickly anyway so they can "GG go next".

Its a shame because i unironically like this perk but yes it should be killswitched
-
The issue is despite being a reportable offense there's no way report it if you dont have footage recorded.
-
SBMM> RBMM
-
You brought 3 perks that do one thing and those perks got countered by a perk that prevents 1 thing.
-
I'm sorry but if someone uses DS "offensively" it means they spent the match not doing anything important, no its not toxic, Old i-can-do-gens-in-your-face DS was toxic
-
Its No Mither time!
-
i can give you a video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJrJIz4wd2s -
This rubberbanding is insane, vaulting pallets is obnoxious
-
It depends on the license owners but until there's any change, they wont leave the shop.
-
Played against prestige 3 doctor on Treatment theatre, spent the whole match looking for gens i couldn't find and then everybody died.
-
I hate to admit it but they have to balance it with 1v4 in mind
-
Sloppy Butcher got nerfed because of hemorrhage
Adrenaline did deserve some of the nerfs it got

I think there should be a mechanic in place throughout the entirety of the match. If a Survivor isn't doing anything related to actual interactive gameplay for X amount of time, then they're revealed to the Killer. That includes everything, not being chased, not healing, not repairing, not unhooking, if they haven't done anything like this for a good amount of time then they're revealed.
This would be good for multiple reasons. One, you don't get held hostage at late game when the match is over and no one wants to be found. Two, Survivors that spawn in just to troll their teammates for whatever reason cannot do that anymore, coz to avoid it they'd actually have to do something to help them progress the game in some shape or form.
so the Crow Mechanic?
-
Its always been that way
-
Alright, from what this thread tells me, its the best perk in the game, im gonna run it on all my builds from now on.

As far as I'm aware, when you report someone, the chatlog is sent along with the report. They harassed you and admitted it, so it should be an easy ban/suspension.
I have bad news…
-
never and TBF there is no better alternative currently.
-
I dont care, do it.

Who said it's an exploit that requires fixing?

It IS tunneling, but it's justified tunneling, you know? There's a distinction.
You are going after the Survivor you hooked last, which is tunneling, but they're forcing your hand.
I just can't agree with that, You targeted another survivor and the last survivor forced your attention toward them, meanwhile tunneling implies you are intent on singling out 1 survivor.
-
By unlearning whatever strategy you where using. The second you overdepend on a perk it will eventually backfire on you
-
I may have issue with how BHVR is approaching balance with the game but If they followed coconut's vision, the game would be dead.
-
No this is on the survivors, i have grips with billy but survivors threw that game
-
Its griefing. You have to use recording software because using the ingame report system to report ingame behavior is a waste of time.
-
Lol im staying, If im survivor, its free meat shield and if im killer its free kills.
-
Use the bug reporting section instead of the general discussion.
-
Its just you, these kind of post have been a thing since forever.
-
1v8
Survivors die in 2 hooks or can be moried after one
6 gens need to be done
no hatch
-
Can you elaborate?
-
I mean you can pick it up so id rather they do that than hoard all the turrets in one area.
-
I dont understand why the perk would need a nerf
-
Weak =/= fun to go against

Then why should killer get to see Survivor perks in the lobby?
Thats what i asked
-
@Royval said:
if this gets implemented killers should see them too
No? why should they?
-
I hate when survivors do that but TBF i can force them out or look for breakable pallets while they do that
But when Killers do that, there's literally nothing i can do, i am dependent on the whim of someone else

I mean, Killers usually dont have a problem to slug for a 4K in regular gameplay. But it is suddenly an issue for an Adept?
Why not help reduce it by making it 3k for the achievement?
-
Unless you have knock out i dont see how this will help you, survivor will just max the thing and crawl away.

As much as I just cant be bothered farming, I get some people do and personally I would NEVER report people for doing this.
With all the toxic and unpleasant things going on in DBD a bit of farming is probably the least harmful, I will try to just get out of the match as fast as possible though but no way on Earth I would report anyone for this.
The only farming I ever reported was the AFK bot killers that thankfully no longer exist due to AFK penalties

Unfortunately Im almost certain theyve said in the past that stream sniping is not a bannable offense.
IMO it shouldn't, streamers have multiple tools to deal with it, its their responsibility to prevent it.
