  • I don't see any use in making it visible before the game. It only works to intimidate some people, which is not a positive effect. Make it visible in the after game and invisible in the pre game lobby and be done with it. All the positives (bragging rights) without the negatives (lobby dodging).

The remake one. In fact, in case you haven't noticed yet, the Freddy we have in DBD purely is the reboot one only. There's a scene in the movie in a hallway that loosely resembles Dream Snares.

I know we have the one from the remake but I only watched that movie while I was doing something else and I don't remember any dream snares in that movie. I might rewatch it to see what you mean.

Still, he doesn't feel like the Freddy from any of the movies. No toying with the survivors, the dream world does very little, the teleport does not make sense because he teleports in the real world too when he only has that ability in the dream world and overall he doesn't feel like he rules the dream world but more like an intruder. It's sad to see him in such a pathetic state.

As of late man I’ve been mainly playing survivor! Probably like a 75-25 split. I can’t be fully classified as a filthy, sweaty, non-showering blight main right now!

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Guess I'll have to sweat for the both of us, then. Maybe I'll slap on Huntress Lullaby again.

  • @HugTechLover said:

I think it’s so ironic some of the people in here calling for a STBFL nerf are the same people on here constantly complaining about always facing nurse, blight, wesker.

I agree. But the fact that this comes from a Blight main is somehow extremely funny.

    You block the pallet.

That's gotten me hits against a lot of really good Survivors, mostly because it's usually so close that they commit to it.

I assume you block it from the outside. If you are inside the jungle gym, there should be no way they don't get to the window before you can hit them. Still this seems like a pretty blatant misplay on the survivor's end and not all that hard to avoid. Although it might be one of these instances where you just don't expect it and make the wrong play because of that.

    Thank you for explaining that.

  • It's true. BHVR have created the Super Smash Bros. of horror and that could not have been an easy feat. Regardless, DBD is a special game that gives us all these different licenses in one gigantic world. It is a one of a kind feeling to play as one of these iconic characters against other just as iconic characters from different universes.

There is nowhere else you'll see Ash Williams, Laurie Strode, Jill Valentine and Ellen Ripley working together to escape Leatherface. And as weird as it sounds, it feels natural. Authentic. All these characters that don't exist in the same universe somehow still fit neatly into the world of DBD.

Well done BHVR. You truly did a pretty good job so far.

  • Best has got to be either Myers or Bubba. Both feel a lot like in the movies. Although, playing as Myers and losing your power permanently breaks that kind of feeling for me. Pinhead is also pretty good imo.

Worst is definitely Freddy. Dream Snares? Really, BHVR? What movie did you watch where he had snares? The dream pallets at least feel like something Freddy would do. But the snares could be used for any original character and nobody would ever think that this could be part of Freddy's power.

  • What @HugTechLover said.

The sky is blue, 4 > 1, Borgo is a pain to look at, Nurse is the strongest killer in the game, Alch Ring and C33 are stupid, I am the very best player in DBD history like no one ever was. All are widely accepted claims but not particularly interesting.

You can however make wholesome or funny posts and still get a good amount of reactions.

Killers that I have been able to reliably get HITS with at jungle gyms:

Wraith, Doc, Huntress, Nurse, Spirit, Legion, Oni, Demogorgon, Pyramid Head, Blight, Twins, Nemesis, Pinhead, Artist, Wesker, Knight and Alien.

Most of those Killers will disappear if you play against comp teams, but even still, I did manage to beat up a few back in the day using Blight and Wesker.

Survivors do need safe structures. Jungle Gyms are reliable and decently strong, but not impervious. I have mindgamed MANY Survivors on the short-wall of the jungle gym. The game cannot be an entire match of 50/50 TL's. Nor can it be ######### filler pallets that you get hit at unless you stun the Killer.

How in the world do you get a hit on a jungle gym as Wraith? I'm genuinely curious. Even with 2 uncloak speed addons you're still way too slow for the survivor to not either make it to the pallet or window before you can hit them. If you know something I don't, I'd be very interested in hearing that.

Playing M1 killer around a jungle gym should not work either because there are 3 safe spots where the survivor can simply wait and watch out for the killer. If that survivor cannot do that, then that is not an issue with the tile but with their own lack of knowledge / experience / patience.

All of the killers you mentioned, besides Wraith, have something in common. They have very oppressive chase powers. Nurse will hit you anywhere. You could have 1000 pallets and 800 windows and she still would get her hits. Try that on any other killer. Blight to a degree is in a very similar position. When Legion has their power, you're gonna get hit, no matter what too. So against these killers, there is pretty much no such thing as a god pallet. Because in theory they could hit anywhere. Even in shack.

I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to say with this list of strong anti-loop killers. Because the issue remains. Many killers have no choice but to brute force their way through. Which is neither fun for the killer nor the survivor as far as I can tell because both don't need to use their brains when that happens. So the interactive part is actually not all that interactive.

I agree, that we can't remove all strong loops from a map but with many maps as stacked as they are, I am of the opinion, that we would either need to decrease the amount of resources or replace them with weaker / more fair versions in these cases. You can't have your cake and eat it too, as they say. The alternative is to rework every killer with weak / mediocre chase powers or buff them in that regard. But how exactly do you do that without making them a pain to go against?

  • @xEa said:

Somebody may show me those god loops. They hide from me so well, i cant find them since 2021.

Almost every single map is full of 50/50s and very bad filler palets. Complaining as a killer that palets/windows/loops are safe nowadays is a little bit absurd. I would argue that we need more safe pallets at this point.

Shack, jungle gyms, trash tiles on Azarov, triangle car tiles on Azarov, Coldwind long tiles, Midwich pallet near the stairs, 95% of all pallets on The Game, GoJ main building pallet. Just to name a few. All of them have to be destroyed immediately because mind games around them (often even in bloodlust tier 3) don't work.

Is Hit-an-Run really a problematic play style now? I thought Survivors hating tunneling and not they don't want that anymore?

Problematic? No. Not even remotely. Unfun to play against? No doubt.

But worse than that, how do you play hit and run on Doctor, Trapper, Freddy, Pig, Clown etc? Simple answer: You don't. Because this is working against their power. So you would make STBFL pretty much unusable on them.

  • There really is no reason to dodge the lobby because of prestige. The more you play against these people, the less intimidating they become. If they really were insanely good, then it would be more effective for them to hide behind a low prestige character.

But I don't see the need to let people see prestige before the game either. It has no positive effect whatsoever.

  • @UnusedAccount said:

If we HAVE to nerf this perk, they can it similar to Game Afoot where the Obession changes into the person you just hit. It'll make Killers more willing to go to other people without completely gutting this perk.

Bad idea. That would force the killer to play hit and run to build up stacks. So not only would it not work on a good chunk of killers, that would use STBFL but it would also incentivise a play style that survivors tend to hate. Changing the obsession to whoever was unhooked last would be a better idea. It would still keep its purpose but it would also disincentivise tunneling. Which is always good in my book.

  • I see your point but sadly, there is not a whole lot they could do without it being abusable. I play without head phones and I have my problems tracking survivors with sound alone but I would benefit from any of these changes too. When it shouldn't even benefit me because I don't suffer from any hearing impairments.

But I do think it'd be fair to give the killer a directional visual indication of loud noises nearby. Nothing that would affect people hiding in lockers or using Iron Will but sounds that are loud enough that the killer should easily hear them.

I can’t get behind that mentality. I learned this game by playing and losing a lot. You can’t occasionally play a pvp game and expect to do well against people who know the game.

Oh, that is not at all what I was trying to say. If you know the game, then what are you doing in low MMR?

It's just that in low MMR killers have the upper hand. Easily. Because the overall skill floor for killers is quite a bit lower than that for survivors. Even just running around, breaking every pallet, vaulting most windows and getting the occasional down is more than enough to dominate a group of players, that have their fair bit of trouble even hitting skill checks, finding gens, knowing when to commit to a gen (instead of hiding every time they hear the TR), stealthing everywhere, not running into each other, giving free hits and going into lockers. If you make maps weaker too, this quickly leads to a bunch more easy hits for killers and more losses for beginner survivors even against beginner killers.

There are just way more opportunities for survivors to make mistakes (4 >> 1). And in low MMR these add up rather quickly. The killer will eventually find survivors because they know where to look. They will also get a down eventually by just running after the survivor because that is how the game is balanced. Breaking pallets isn't something that you need put any thought into either. But this is already enough to stomp 4 beginners.

  • 1 or 2 god pallets aren't an issue. It sucks that you have to break them with no way to play around them (other than a few niche scenarios) but once they're gone, they're gone. Meaning, the strongest resources of the map are used up and you only have to care about the rest of the (hopefully) weaker pallets.

However, I very much agree, that a good portion of all structures are not very interactive from a killer's POV. No matter what you do, you can't get a hit anyway, so why even bother mind gaming? This is the case with some of the pallets on the Azarov maps, some main buildings, shack, jungle gyms, the excavator on Ormond and more. In these cases, you'll find most killers without oppressive chase powers simply running after you with not much thought put into it because it's more efficient than spending time on a mind game, that won't work anyway.

However, you also need some of these busted loops because inexperienced survivors can't play around the more fair structures (like TL walls). And if they get hit on every loop, then obviously, they won't have fun and no incentive to improve. After all, why would you play a game that is not enjoyable? This would dramatically decrease the appeal for newer players.

This is quite the dilemma, honestly. In low MMR, this is just fine. But the higher you go, the more problematic it becomes.

  • Why would you complain about STBFL on Wesker? That is better for the survivors than for the Wesker. Because STBFL is not a good perk on him. His chase potential is high enough to play around most loops with his M2. For the others, he doesn't need STBFL either. It's pretty much a waste of a perk slot on him because his M2 is way better than going for M1s. And to actually get value out of STBFL, he would need to go for quite a few M1s.

But honestly, go ahead, nerf STBFL and see what happens. A small nerf to its pre 6.1.0 strength, wouldn't change anything (the difference is so minimal, you'd achieve a placebo effect at best). Anything more than that, will amplify the age old M1 killer problem. They are weak in chase because they have a hard time getting the first hit and then have to catch up again (easily 15 seconds worth of time) before they can play for the second hit. Weaker killers = less positive results = less appeal to play these killers. Basically, you'd actively discourage people from playing M1 killers, which at best leads to them playing more of the same killers you already see more than enough. Like Wesker and Blight.

TBF they didn't say there would be a "flood of complaints" they pointed out there was a uptick in people complaining about these perks. I recall it because It was during a period where I always ran lithe. No doubt some of these people will crawl out of the woodwork again. But, yes they never got the amount of complaints as DH or MFT.

"[...] but I guarantee you in a month or more you’ll see a bunch of killer mains complaining about them. Again." ~ @Ayodam

Correct me, if I'm wrong but "a bunch" is mostly used synonymous to "a lot", is it not? English is not my mother tongue, so it is entirely possible I am wrong about this, but that is the way I understand it.

  • I don't see why these tier list would be much different. You might find a few placements you disagree with (as with any tier list) but mostly this would look very similar to the ones from killer mains' POVs.

The only real differences I could imagine would be in the arguments, why certain killers are strong / weak. I saw people claim that Doctor's main strength was finding survivors, when in reality he has quite the chase potential and a few good Static Blasts can be a complete game changer.

  • @Ayodam said:

People complained about both of those perks after DH was nerfed & before MFT released. I know a handful of killer mains are here saying they’re fine (now) and that people won’t complain about them (a lie), but I guarantee you in a month or more you’ll see a bunch of killer mains complaining about them. Again.

I have yet to see the floods of complaints about both of these perks. Neither before DH validation, after DH validation, all the way to 6.1.0 and even after 6.1.0, had I seen more than a handful of people saying that SB and Lithe were anything but fine. The few that I did see got quite a few people disagree with them. Way more than any DH posts. So these were a small minority.

And honestly, there have even been complaints about killers using Lightborn and / or Shadowborn. So it's fair to say that you will always find a few people complaining about everything, if you dig deep enough.

I won't sing Lithe's and SB's praises, but I can promise you, you won't hear any complaints from me either.

  • I am under no illusion that Background Player is overpowered but having played against groups that sent themselves to very open maps with this perk, I can say there is the potential to be forced in rather unpleasant play styles such as heavy slugging.

  • Obviously, for the killer both of these perks are a bit annoying. The survivor makes distance, which prolongs the most boring part of the chase; catching up. But they are both fine.

They are strong but not as stupid as a permanent 3% haste effect and there is more room to play around both of these perks. I am happy with these 2 being the most popular exhaustion perks. Also, I respect the skill of managing SB throughout the match.

  • A killer has to play as nice as possible and give you a million chances, or they are toxic? These are strategies that people use to win. Not to be jerks (well, mostly). Toxic is going out of your way to make the game miserable for someone else. That is not the case with tunneling, camping and slugging.

I recently played against a SWF with hook offerings and a map offering, that all used No Mither, Unbreakable, Boil Over and Break Out. Sounds fun right? Especially when they all run to the exact same spot and wait for me to try and hook them, which didn't work because all the hooks surrounding that area were too far to reach. They held me hostage for a while and then proceeded to call me names because I went to the gates and waited for it to end. That is what I'd call toxic. They went out of their way to make the game as unfun as possible by using exploits.

  • I see less complaints about Xeno being overnerfed and more about the weird nerf to the cooldown for missed attacks. The devs clearly thought it was safe to buff it from the PTB but then Xeno was bugged, got complained about by survivors and instead of fixing the bug and letting us test the cooldown, they fixed it AND reverted the buff.

By the way, this was one of the major complaints on the PTB. I and many others said back then, that a power that has an in-built counter mechanic should be extremely oppressive otherwise. Making it so punishing, that survivors get 14 seconds of distance for one mistake does not make it feel great to play. Especially with how easy it is to miss a tail attack. Peanits himself even said, that the turrets are the main counter to Xeno's power and that you should be at a severe disadvantage, if you didn't use them to counter the Crawler Mode.

I think Xeno is overall not in a bad spot because they fixed the other issues from the PTB but I find it hard to follow the thought process of nerfing something, that was given green light to receive a buff, before it had been tested.

  • If that was the case, then we'd see less Weskers, Doctor would never have been a popular character (though it seems his popularity has decreased) and some killers like Billy would have way higher pick rates.

It's more that people tend to gravitate towards rewarding gameplay. Freddy has a fairly simple power because his mechnanics don't have to be managed and his abilities are rather straight forward. Still, because he is so weak, pretty much nobody plays him. It doesn't feel rewarding because you just don't get the results. Hillbilly's power is fairly straight forward too. Use chainsaw for map mobility, find survivor, then use chainsaw for insta down. That's not overly complex. The problem is, that as easy as it seems, he is still one of the hardest killers in the game because he is very mechanically demanding. The smallest imperfections on this killer are punished harshly.

Killers like Wesker, Oni, Nemesis and Doctor have lower skill floors. Meaning, you are more likely to get some positive results even if you haven't mastered the power yet. You know what you need to do and getting the power to work in some positive way isn't top hard. Meanwhile there is Singularity, who has a skill floor so high, that only a fairly small portion of players could be expected to do somewhat well. Even players like Scott Jund, who have thousands of hours and an insane amount of knowledge don't seem to know how to play this killer. Because the obvious way; find survivor, set up biopod, slipstream survivor, get EMP out of the way, set up biopod again, slipstream survivor again, teleport and play M1 killer doesn't work. It's a huge waste of time to play in that way and not very effective. If you can maintain a net of biopods across the map however and keep all survivors busy dealing with the biopods over and over again, you have the potential to absolutely dominate.

So, I think killers with low skill floors and relatively strong powers will always be popular, while killers with higher skill floors will always take a back seat in that regard. Nobody likes to get stomped repeatedly after all.

  • The thought is hilarious. Just imagine the baby survivors sitting on a table with the 10k hours Nurse mains and listening to their wisdom. The Bubba and Trapper mains would assemble in the basement, decorating and fortifying it. The pool would be surrounded by Dwight and Claudette mains as well as Trickster, Wraith, Huntress, Spirit and some of the remaining Trapper mains all showing of their bodies, that they no doubt worked their hardest to achieve with exercises like Jake lifts, Feng curls and David press.

The Blight and Billy mains would compete in a contest to find out who is actually faster, with the SM and Singularity mains monitoring the competition and analysing the data. The Pig mains could be found in a circle booping each others snoots. You'd recognise the Clown mains from anywhere by the devilish concoctions they mix and their laughter ringing through the halls. Don't come too close though! They are known to throw bottles at intruders.

The Wesker mains would do what they do best, throwing around one liners and staring at the Chris mains, making them more than a little uncomfortable. The Doctor mains would mingle with them and giggle at every single one of their jokes. No exceptions. I know, shocking. Demodoggo and Xenokitty mains could be found in most intellectual discussions, easily recognisable by their thoughtful nodding. Hag mains have their own area in the gardens where they would be seen drawing beautiful, meticulous pieces of art in the dirt. Some of the most evil survivor mains would be seen wiping away these drawings, only for all the Hag mains to surround them and hiss.

Every so often you may stumble upon a Myers main biding their time and staring at the survivor mains, but it's best to leave them to it. They may start slow but they'll be all the more active later. The Legion mains would mingle with the survivors and for the first time in their lives nobody would scream: "Imposter!" whenever they are around.

Oni and Plague mains would be the first to fall out of line. Oni mains tend to get aggressive when they are drunk while Plague mains... Well, let's just say I wouldn't want to be responsible for cleaning afterwards. Nemesis and Pyramid Head mains would argue about who has the worse addons. Until at one point the 2 Twins mains on this planet would chime in with their little brothers announcing their arrival.

Sadako mains would gather around the mansion's TVs and stare angrily at anyone who puts one of the tapes into the old video player. Needless to say, they'd cut all the signal beforehand, so the video players are the only way to actually watch any movies. The only movies available would have Nic Cage as the main actor.

In typical DBD fashion, we'd have lockers scattered throughout the mansion. Every so often you'd see a Dredge main coming out grabbing a huge plate piled up with food from the buffet, devour it all instantly and disappear again. At least until night falls...

Knight and Pinhead mains could be found arguing about who has more bugs with Chucky mains backing their arguments up with the occasional insult. The Ghostface and Nea mains could be found around a corner making fun of them and partaking in a squats competition.

Artist and Deathslinger mains would carry out an epic battle of ink crow shooting. The Adam mains would fit in perfectly with their tendencies to throw around pebbles. Nic Cage mains would steer clear of that area. The Freddy mains would be there for the afterparty of our dreams.

In the main room we'd have a set of huge thrones for our overlords, the mighty BHVR devs surrounded by their most loyal servants, mythical beings known as mods. The halls would be decorated with paintings of the finest memes like a hockey puck and a crying pig face with the words: "Nerf Pig".

  • @Mr_K said:

Easy until you want to get tunneled. Then you run into the nicest killers you'll ever find.

Sorry. I promise the next survivor I find I'll tunnel out of the game immediately. They might be stuck with this challenge, after all. 😜

  • I disagree with Bubba, Adrenaline and the HUD.

Bubba offers a lot of counterplay. He can't go through walls, so he still needs to catch up around a loop. There are situations where you just go down because you cannot make it around the loop and drop the pallet before he downs you, but really you have no reason to even be in that position. You reach the loop first and if you know that this won't work, then don't give him the pallet side.

Adrenaline means that survivors play with only 3 perks throughout the match and still make it to end game. That is a big deal, which definitely balances out the strong effect of Adrenaline in my opinion.

The HUD is a great addition. It is very useful and provides information that helps with some of the most common solo mistakes like nobody (or multiple people) going for the unhook and of course it also helps knowing that it's safe to work on certain gens when the killer is off chasing someone else. But this is information that survivors that play with comms have anyway and to a degree solo survivors need to be brought closer to SWFs to balance more fairly.

    @Pulsar said:

Tunneling and meta players being matched with non-meta players.

Tunneling isn't really unfair (I think there are ways to counter it, which just aren't used enough. Though, a few more tools or reverting the DS nerf wouldn't hurt either.) but the second point is definitely true. Both sides have the tools to give themselves huge advantages and if only one side is using them, then that results in a huge inbalance. It doesn't mean it's impossible to win without using anything meta (I certainly win a lot still) but it can feel like your playing against an unbeatable force.

  • @indieeden7 said:

I think people need to learn the difference between a nerf and a bugfix...

Literally among the first 2 lines of my post. It is a bug fix. One that was completely unnecessary. But this is not what makes Freddy that terrible of a killer. I only mentioned it because the only changes that he receives impact him negatively. The devs don't ignore him but they actively choose to fix a bug that made him a little bit better and don't change any of the points I mentioned. This is kicking a dead horse.

  • We know that Blight's Hug Tech is an exploit and they even said they wanted to get rid of it. We just don't know why it hasn't happened yet. The vaults weren't just quirky. They were completely game breaking. There is a reason, that old Balanced Landing was considered a disgusting perk. If survivors can skip their stagger time (in any way), that allows them to play certain structures in ways that should not be possible. The stagger time is a way to balance otherwise overpowered structures. I have seen people abuse this on Mother's Dwelling and Coal Tower in my games but there were more instances of this on other maps too.

Oni doing 180s is perfectly fine in my opinion. He should be able to hit people right next to him. Let's not make him another Billy, who sometimes can't even hit people that are centre screen. Also, we don't know if this is actually a bug / exploit. Just as J-techs for Blight. They work but were they intended or not? We don't know, because the devs don't tell us.

  • He could definitely use a bit of love. I know, I know, Freddy is a terrible man but he is also one of the most iconic slashers and it's sad to see him in this pathetic state. It would go a long way, if they at least let him use pallets and snares but of course it wouldn't fix him. There are just too many things wrong with him.

  • @jayoshi said:

I would love it if they reworked him again but this time also changed his model so he looks like the original Freddy and have Robert Englund voice him. I can only dream... 1... 2....

Freddy is coming for you. 3... 4...

  • If something is too strong than it should be nerfed. You don't achieve balance by just buffing everything to be overpowered. This is how you create power creep. Most survivor perks are perfectly usable. Yes, some are a bit more situational than they need to be but that is because survivors have 16 free perk slots as opposed to the killer's 4. If we were to change how often each perk can be used in a lobby, then we could buff some of them. But that isn't a good idea either because it only leads to frustration when you limit what each players is allowed to use by what someone else uses.

Without this, we have the exact problem that @radiantHero23 described. Killers can deal with many perks once or twice but not 4 times. And when one perk is better than the rest, of course all 4 survivors are likely going to use it. The strongest perks will always be more popular than the others. No matter, if they are strong or weak by themselves. Because they look weak in comparison.

  • Are we really nerfing Freddy? Again? Hasn't the poor guy suffered enough already? Well, I guess his name is all the more fitting now. He is a Nightmare indeed. A nightmare to play, that is.

First he is butchered with a bunch of nerfs all aimed to make him as weak as possible. Then his best perks are nerfed (not a direct nerf to him but it does affect him still). Then, you nerfed the dream pallets. Multiple times! Seriously, explain this thought process! There weren't any issues with him having a bit of synergy with some perks. And now this too?

If there is one killer in the game, that desperately needs buffs, it's Freddy. He is by far the weakest of them all. Even Trapper has his strengths. Freddy on the other hand is just bad. He doesn't have a power half the time, he has no early game, he has no end game (courtesy of Adrenaline) and when he does have a power, it's pretty bad. He is half a Clown (quite literally, if you have a look at their respective powers). Most popular perks are also pretty bad on him, because they require getting downs, which isn't exactly one of his strengths. Add in the fact that he is countered by basically everything and anything that can or cannot happen and it's pretty clear, that he is in a terrible spot.

  • Wait, what? 30 minutes? That should not happen. Do you have the latest patch installed? Is the incentive on killer or survivor? What time of day does this happen and is it much faster, if you queue up as survivor?

  • Here you go, friend. I just implemented your sugggestion into the game and erased everyones memories of how it used to be.

Jokes aside, this has never been the case. Nurse doesn't automatically face the direction of the survivor. She keeps her ability to adjust her camera during a blink, so that might be why you see Nurses always looking at the survivors they chase.

Yeah talking is a thing that people do human and non human alike just adds more depth

You know what else people do? Eat, sleep and use the bathroom. Do you want that in the game too for depth? I wouldn't. Because going to the bathroom in the middle of a chase doesn't sound very immersive to me.

It kind of kills the atmosphere when one is constantly talking. But maybe that's just me. Anyways, if it ends up being Chucky with voice lines, I won't have to play as him, so I guess it's fine. I don't really care.

Kinda feels like you just hate fun…. Chucky screaming and cussing at you when you stun him or something would be so chaotic.

Nah. I just don't like Chucky. I wouldn't buy him for the license. Maybe, if I was really interested in the gameplay but I couldn't care less about having Chucky in the game. And honestly, I am already a bit annoyed with the amount of characters with voice lines. It used to be extremely special for Nemesis to say "STARS". But now it seems every other killer has to have voice lines.

Not me. I never was a huge fan of Chucky (maybe because I couldn't stop laughing when I watched the first one). I'm more or less indifferent about it but I really hope, that in case it is Chucky, they don't give him voice lines. That'd be even more goofy than Mr. Puddles.

  • Given how many killers are currently on the list to receive changes and how long it took BHVR to say anything in that regard, I think it's unlikely.

My time is short. I've traveled back in time to tell you all Chapter 30 is going to be J *UUUHHH*

    J. Jonah Jameson. I knew it!

So true, I think there is a lot of potential for Singularity, I hope they didn't forgot about him :,)

Give him Dwigth's shirt, his glasses and a pen as a weapon and I'll become Single Larry main.

  • They're busy making more cosmetics for Caitlyn 3Genner, which most of us won't care about because we hate that killer.

Jokes aside, Single Larry could use some new cosmetics. There is a lot of potential.

  • That's why Demodoggo is the goodest boy.

  • Flashbangs are less consistent than survivors encountering Twins. They can blind you from behind walls (had that happen to me a while ago) but they will also fail to do their job when you're staring right at them. I swear, everytime someone uses a flashbang, some BHVR employee rolls a dice to decide, if you get blinded or not.

  • Wait. This doesn't look like Midwich.

Honestly though, that is pretty much what would happen. The people that want to win by any means will play the casual mode and make everyone, who really does play casual, miserable.

  • Now all I need is something for Demodoggy to fetch.

    Luckily:

I can only speak for myself, but if I don't enjoy being camped or tunneled as a survivor, I would be a massive hypocrite if I did just that as killer. I just treat others the way I would like to be treated and I don't care if they don't acknowledge that.

Same. My only issue is, if someone goes out of their way to be a jerk. Like holding the game hostage with their friends (why is that still a thing, BHVR?). Or they leave a bunch of slurs under my steam profile.

Teabagging in end game is just a display that someone is miserable. If they weren't, they wouldn't care enough to wait there and rub it in. Same as killers smacking someone on hook. With the exception of that Yui that cleansed my Huntress' Lullaby yesterday. She had it coming.

May I ask you why you dislike Deadlock? Quite interesting.

The fact that it activates no matter what and will provide value. Even if the killer is afk, Deadlock still works.

  • Meanwhile: Me running Shadowborn and Lightborn and nothing else for 20+ matches on Hillbilly. Or Shadowborn, Huntress' Lullaby and Lethal Pursuer on Doctor. Or BBQ, Lethal and Shadowborn on Blight. Or STBFL only on Freddy. Can't say I've noticed my Pop Goes The Weasle and Pain Res so far.

There aren't any killer perks that have such high pick rates. Not anymore (R.I.P. old BBQ). Also what killer perk is really overpowered? I can't think of a single one. There are some killer perks I don't like (looking at you, Deadlock) and would like to see reworked but none of them are overpowered. MfT on the other hand is.
