Ash, I’m sorry to the actor, but I hate how he sounds here, and the lobby lines are annoying

If their trade-off is better Bloodpoint rewards during score events, they are not worse.
If they are trade-offs in general, they are not worse.
The BP is meaningless for the most part as it doesn’t exceed the total.

We have already said that an LGBTIA+ character will be implemented but we are making sure that this is done correctly and not just "for show" - plus characters are planned out a lot of months in advance, so this will take time. We are specifically working with GaymerX to make sure this is done correctly.
We also hosted a Charity Event on our Twitch Channel last Friday and raised close to $11k for The Trevor Project, information on which you can find here: https://tiltify.com/@deadbydaylight/intotherainbow
I understand that it takes time, and I do appreciate the effort that has gone into the fundraising, I’m simply highlighting that there is a difference between what is done outside of the game, and how queer people are actually implemented into it. It’s important to regularly have discussions around this, even if they attract the hateful people in the community.
Thank you for the response though, I didn’t realise as much money as that was raised!

I'm mostly fine with it. The fact we got something at all for free was enough to me, yet to see anyone criticize me while playing for using it yet I've had a few people be happy to see me use it as have I been happy to see them use it.
I'd like shirts at one point too as long as they're also free or similar to the charity pack as you stated. (as I think them trying to make a profit off it would be absurd).
Finally, nothing really confirms any of the characters sexualities, so nothing really says any of them are straight or that they're anything other than straight. I'd rather they take their time with it and slowly reveal it rather than rush into it.
I agree I’d rather they take their time than handle it poorly, but it’s been a long time since they made the initial promise

It definitely shouldn’t be allowed, we don’t need more sweat lords

I could probably name about 10 add ons that are worse

Now guess what the killers objective is. A hint, it's in the name.
The killers objective is to kill ALL survivors, not settle for one, maybe two which is what tunnelling almost always achieves

Tunnelling is good tactic when survivors are focusing on gens and finishing them fast. How you are planning stop genrush? Because even Otz is tunnelling sometimes for same reason.
Otz only tunnels SWF deathsquads, which are an extreme minority. These are much rarer than people assume, as many games are solo survivors or people casually playing with friends. Otz has advocated against cheap strategies in the past, such as using NOED, as it is a crutch perk that prevents killers from learning good habits. It’s the same as relying on camping/tunnelling, it’s much better to learn how to play without relying on it, to actually become a strong player.
Happy 124th birthday btw :)

Sometimes im really not sure if people are just trolling or being serious....
Killer kills as fast as possible = BAD
Survivors doing gens as fast as possible = GOOD
Tunnelling is not a good or reliable way to secure kills at all
-
@Northener1907 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2305041#Comment_2305041
Both tactics are planning to finish game fast. So i do not think.
Tactics imply planned in advance, most killers don’t plan to tunnel, it’s usually in response to them playing poorly
-
@Pulsar said:

It's literally the same thing.
How can it not be the same thing.
Doing gens is good gameplay, tunnelling is a substitute for not playing well

@Reinami said:
Because it takes more skill than survivor and i find holding m1 for 80 seconds to be really boring.
Spirit, Wraith, Bubba, Freddy are easier than survivor though

I don't keep up with a lot of stuff.... what was the mori nerf?
You could mori survivors after being hooked once, which was toxic and made the game a breeze for the killer
-
Gen rushing is survivors doing their objective, killers only tunnel outside of competitive when they’re playing badly
-
No they’re not

Hitting survivors 3 times in order to down them sure looks like a strong power...
Have you ever played Plague?

First Nemesis is not weak. He is strong but he has some stupid weaknesses.
- Speed boost for infect hit. This has to go!
- Zombies are stupid, fix your AI. Or remove them and give map mobility to Nemesis.
- Red add-ons ridicilous, rework them. Both of them useless.
- You can not hit behind car or some objects or walls, fix him hitboxes.
- Range is so small. Tier 1 (5m), Tier 2 (6m), Tier 3 (7m). That will be enough.
Wait, if you don’t think he’s weak why did we have 10 arguments over this? xD

How is making most loops in the game unsafe a ‘weak’ power though?

Spirit, Wraith, Bubba are all extremely easy to play

Dude seriously play killer more and you will see. There is seriously so good survivor teams. Some of them defeating me even with Blight and we both know Blight is S-Tier. If survivors do gens well and if they are not bad at chases, they can defeat any killer. You can have chance againts this teams with good killers. But Demo? Please.
I used to main killer, and I’ve had enough of that life. Survivors can beat every killer, obviously, but most teams are deathsquad SWFs. I love you

Well you can understand then lol. Demo is not strong. I mean yes, you can do good jobs with him but he is not even A-Tier. And if you are not playing with Top Tier Killers, good luck againts good survivors.
But you don’t need to be A tier to be strong? B tier are good killers too

Trust me, I know how many hours you have, you’ve mentioned it plenty of times! Being a red rank killer doesn’t make them good, I know from experience as a former red rank killer who sucked at the game

They must not have been great Demo’s, he’s one of the strongest chasers in the business right now, and shreds pallets extremely fast against mediocre survivors

I'm not trying to be condescending, but if you don't use words according to their common definitions, it's going to be difficult to have a dialogue about anything, because we'll have no idea if you mean what is usually meant when someone uses the same word, or if you mean something else altogether. I'm just trying to help the dialogue. If I'm coming across as condescending, I apologize.
I clarified what I was referring to multiple times though, it really wasn’t relevant to the discussion at hand regardless. I was listing killers that are not enjoyable for me, to identify if there was a consensus among others as to who they didn’t like playing against.
-
@Maperson said:

What exactly is fun about them?
They have clear cut strengths and weaknesses that allow both sides to have a decent chance, and all except Myers are strong enough to steamroll if survivors let them

Myers, Demo and Billy weak killers. Huntress and Oni are strong but not op.

No, "the meta" is "the meta". It refers to a set of strategies that are established as being the most optimal and often correspond with the highest level of play.
It's OK to admit you made a mistake. You can also still edit your OP if you want to replace the word "meta" with "game".
No, I did not make a mistake at all. I am fully aware what it means to be ‘meta’, but not everything has to follow a dictionary definition in a dialogue. You’re coming across as really condescending quite frankly, and I don’t appreciate it.
-
@IamFran said:
It's funny that when survivor talk about "unfun" killers to play against in the list there are usually the ones which cannot be looped to the infinite because they have a power which let them counter that.
I think you are too adapted to your comfort zone and need to adapt to killers which cannot be looped to infinite.
Lol, because you can’t loop Legion for ages? Feels like you didn’t read the post, this has nothing to do w chase time

Literally right in your title.
‘The meta’ is the game, that doesn’t make the killer meta
-
@ManyAchievables said:
Ah yes, Legion in the meta. The worst killer in the game is meta.
Strength is irrelevant here, legion is extremely unfun and very common
-
@ChiSoxFan11 said:
Wait a minute -- Clown and Legion are "meta" now? 🤔
As was just said, Nemesis is new and will obviously be played at lot in the beginning. I actually enjoy facing one. I don't even think the Clown mains are playing him since he's currently bugged all to hell.
I almost never see the Twins (who I don't like facing, but that's a "me" thing). Hag is pretty infrequent too. To be honest, over hundreds and hundreds of matches, I honestly don't see a huge difference between the frequency of one killer over another (at Red Rank). I can go several days without seeing a single Nurse or Spirit, then see multiple on one night. It does tend to be very random. I've probably seen more Trappers than anything the last week (probably owing to the Rift challenge, if I had to guess).
What one person considers "unfun" is going to be subjective.
Never said Legion was meta, he’s extremely unfun and one of the most common killers
-
@Northener1907 said:
Because Legion is stronger than Oni with good perks. Legion can make game so long. So that is reason why they are popular. Also Legion has great cosmetics.
Legion with the best perks is worse than Oni with none.
