btw, this is the build I always use on solo queue.

  • As a Artist Main, here is mine:

    artist-addon_tl.png

S-Velvet Fabric: Easily her best addon and the most underrated as well, not only help in chase but it also help you get cross-map snipes easier (which is the most fun part of the Artist).

A-Severed Hands: This one is JUST A BIT overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's a amazing addon, but it's just inconsistent and you need discordance to actually get good value of this. And if survivors are smart enough, they will start to split up, wich is bad for you.

  • Netease is a chinese company, China and Japan are the best on Mobile development.

But from what I hear about the Netease version, it will only be available in Asia, unfortunately. The global version really s*cks in terms of optimization.

But I can't deny that the mobile version in general have more essential content than the PC version like: Custom matches with Bots, prestige gives you Auric Cells (10, 20 and 30 per-prestige), etc.

I don't understand why they just refused to give him a lullaby. If he has a 32 m terror radius he should have 115% speed.

Lullaby is even worst than a 32mTR.

At least you can remove/reduce your TR with perks/addons/effects, unlike a lullaby that will always give survivors a hint that you are nearby.

  • @adirgeforthedead said:

I've written a lot of feedback into what could be done to make him a bit more interesting to play as including some over the top suggestions such as reducing his TR back to 24m, but giving him a Lullaby that is subtle like Tricker's or Sadako's which could be merely the sound of the rattlesnakes right at the beginning of his terror radius just so Survivors have a warning that he is nearby.

I have also suggested halfing the time he takes to enter ADS while doubling the time it takes him to exit, forcing him to commit to shoots rather and just zoning, but giving him a better chance of reacting in loops. He needs more quality changes such as chain durability or lessening his reload time because I cannot fathom that he takes as long to reload as Huntress while having a single projectile (like yes he can do it mid-chase without needing a locker, but still unlike Huntress you are never guaranteed an actual hit).

He is so painful to play as and I hate it, he was the only Killer I enjoyed playing as since I got the game two years ago. I am having so much fun with Sadako currently, but because most of my matches have been hilariously silly.

What's the point of reduce his TR to give him a lullaby?

Giving him a lullaby you'll make his kit even worst, because he will no longe be able to use Undetectable and Oblivious effects, removing even more unique aspects from his kit, so please NO.

Idk why people think that Lullaby it's better than a big TR. At least you can remove/reduce your TR with perks/addons/effects, unlike a Lullaby.

  • Rework the addons that reduce his TR while ADS??? Hell No.

As a Deathslinger main I like to use these addons on indoor maps with some aura reading build + M&A, it's really fun and they are the only addons that change how you play him, insted of be: Reload fast, Less cooldown, etc. So please. NO.

It's better to combine both addons (reduce TR by 12m) into one, with this will be more room for unique addons like you mentioned.

    Dear BHVR,

    You absolutely neutered my boy.

As a previous slinger main who has migrated over to artists grateful hands I request that his ADS time gets reduced to 0.25s and have at least a brown reload add on built in.

    Thanks,

Leachy_Jr, also known as "that one clown who bought every slinger cosmetic thinking he wouldn't get nerfed".

pls, if you need feedback on him I've already provided a feedback post on what I'd do to him, including add on adjustments and base kit changes. It's sad seeing my boy in this state.

As buff to his base kit, reducing his TR to 28m and increasing the chain durability will be enough to me.

  • Open Handed + Kindred. 32m of aura reading of the killer while someone is on hook is so good, especially on SoloQ. My survivor build is always:

BT + We'll Make It + Open Handed + Kindred.

On the killers side, for me it's definily:

Shadowborn. Just thinking about the extra FOV...Hmmm, simply delicious.

And Rancor, be able to insta-down and mori someone on the end-game + No Way Out, it's kinda devastating.

  • *Sadako is a underwhelming killer on first impressions and the more you play with her, the more you discover how bad she is, like:

    • TVs enters in a cooldown of 100 seconds (1m40s) after you project to them. Yes, you need to wait this long to use your only power.
    • Circle of Healing.
    • Nothing for chases.
    • She doesn't have a power that you need to learn for 1~4 week to master it, like Nurse,Blight,Artist,Deathslinger,Huntress, etc.
    • She has a lullaby when demanifested, making her stealth almost useless.
    • If you see any streamer playing her like: Otz, Umbra, Zubat, etc. You can see that everyone that plays her, just get the first hook after 2~3 gens pops on most scenarios.
    • Sadako already become a Twins/Hillbilly situation for me, it's easier to get a Artist than her in my matches.

*Yoshi is just...another survivor with...another perks.

    *No new map.

All of this makes this chapter feels like a mediocre one overall (excluding sound effects and music, they are amazing as always).

  • @brokedownpalace said:

Why do you say "only" movement speed? It's arguably the most important thing in the game.

The 'Only' doesn't mean I don't know this is a strong thing. I'm just saying 'Only' because NOED is a Hex that gives you Movement Speed and also Exposes Survivors, I was thinking of a Hex that exclusively gives you a Movement Speed and nothing more.

  • @gendoss said:

Omg yes that would be insanely broken. Movement speed in this game is a very particular thing and messing around with it could just destroy the balance. They only gave survivors 2% movement speed in the boon radius so yeah 7% at all times would be ridiculous.

It's just example of 7%, but it could be 4%-6%.

  • @GeneralGrievous said:

Bruh she still moves faster than a normal m1 killer AND she still has hatchets. would be even more unbalanced on spirit or nurse

Yeah, you right. On my mind Huntress wouldn't be crazy, compared to Trickster that will move at 117%(4.68) walking and 103%(4.12) while holding his knives. Thinking now, both would probably obliterate on small/medium pallet loops

  • @Pulsar said:

On most Killers? Maybe not? It depends.

On 110% Killers? Almost certainly. Pretty sure that turns any pallet into an unsafe one versus Huntress.

I don't think will be crazy on huntress, If you're think that with this she will be able to hold her hatchets and zoning people easier.

She is 110%(4.4) walking and moves at 77%(3.08) holding a hatchet. With this perk she will move at 117%(4.68) and 84%(3.36).

It's not situational at all and you turn your back for 3 seconds and get a stack.

PWYF have a cooldown of 5seconds to you be able to get another stack and just turning around do not end chases instantly. So yeah, you kinda lose time getting at least 2 stacks of PWYF. And you lose them too easy.

  • @MonsterInMyMind said:

That shouldn't be a Hex Totem not worthy of it should just be a base thing. I as a Killer am not gonna waste a slot for a movement speed totem that has the chance of being gone in 3 seconds wasted perk slot.

Haste is actually game changing on most scenarios, I just giving are example of 7%, but it could be 7/7.5/8% you know.

  • @GoshJosh said:

Way too OP. Why not keep its function as reducing the terror radius, but by hooking on scourge hooks instead?

    @sizzlingmario4 said:

I think constantly being Undetectable for that long might be a bit overbearing/start to overshadow actual stealth killers, but apart from that I like your idea.

And about the Undetectable Status Effect, it can be adjusted to:

    • Gain the Undetectable Status Effect for 30seconds.

    Or, as you suggest:

    • Reduce your Terror Radius by 12m.

  • @GoshJosh said:

Way too OP. Why not keep its function as reducing the terror radius, but by hooking on scourge hooks instead?

I don't think it's even close to being OP, here's why:

    • The effects ends almost immediately when a chase starts, so the movement speed will not be a problem when a chase begins.
    • The effects also ends when you damage a survivor by any means, so ranged killers will not being able to exploit the movement speed effect by damaging a survivor on long distances.
    • Killers that have a lullaby (Huntress and Trickster), will not benefit from the Undetectable Status Effect.
    • The aura reading it's just 6 seconds and only show survivors doing objective actions. The healing/healed actions can be replaced by 'Opening exit gates'.

The purpose of the rework is just to make your way to a chase easier. The movement speed will help you against 'Shift+W' and on big maps, so if a survivor sees you far away and starts running before you get close to him, you at least won't lose too much distance going after him.

And again, as the perk effects only persist for a maximum of 1.5 seconds, when a chase actually starts, your movement speed will be lost. In conclusion, the movement speed is just to help you on big maps, get to objectives (gens and exit gates) and chases faster.

  • Legion, Onryo (Sadako) and Ghostface. They're the only killers in the game that don't have ANY kinda of 'chase tool' to help them to end chases faster.

    Legion: Only injure people, Wow.

Sadako: Only teleport and have a cooldown of 100 seconds for doing it, Amazing.

Ghostface: GF is the best among these ones, at least he actually have a stealth (not like Onryo, that have a lullaby while in stealth mode) and can insta-down. But if the survivors are good enough, they can easily loop you cause you don't have a 'chase tool'. Unlike Myers, you don't have a big lunge and unlike Pig you don't have a ambush attack to help you.

People say that Clown, Trapper and Myers are the worst, but I disagree.

Clown can use his bottle to shutdown loops and get a 15% movement speed.

Trapper also can shutdown loops and can end chases before they begin.

Myers has Tier 3 that gives him the biggest lunge in the game and a fast vaults, it's not crazy but it's something to help him in loops.

If a killer have something to help him in a chase, the killer is at least mediocre(c-tier)/decent(b-tier). Because no matter what the killer can do, Injure people fast, Teleport across the map, etc. If he can't use his power to end chases quickly, gens will fly cause you can't pressure people.

Getting downs is the best pressure a killer can have in this game.

  • Sadako:

    • Cooldown of 100 seconds after using a TV (Aka using your only power).
    • Cooldown of 60 seconds after a survivor turned off a TV.
    • Can't use her power for 30 seconds after the start of the match.
    • Takes 0.5 second to a survivor turn off a TV.

    Demo:

    • Cooldown of 10 seconds after using a portal.
    • You gain a portal immediately after a survival sealed it.
    • You can use your power on the start of the match (for comparison, you can setup 3~5 portals in 30 seconds).
    • Takes 12 seconds to seal a portal.
  • Her adept was the hardest to get of all killers to this day for me, took me 13~17 matches to get it.

Even release Trickster was easier to get (2 matches) than her.

  • My TOP 5:

    1. PTB and Unused Trickster theme (idk why BHVR didn't used any of these, they are so good and fit perfectly with him).
    2. Demogorgon
    3. Artist
    4. Blight
    5. Pyramid Head

  • Deathslinger (First Addon)

    • While ADS, see the auras of all survivors in a 45° cone within 18 metres.
    • Increase the time to start ADS by 0.3s.
    • Increase the time to exit ADS by 0.2s.

    Deathslinger (sECOND ADDON)

    • While ADS, gain the Undetectable status effect.
    • Decrease the movement speed while ADS by 15%.

I'm very intrigued by the trailer, and that the Entity took the form of the Jigsaw doll to pass information on to the Archivist. It's a strange connection, since the Archivist has nothing directly linked to Saw, and also the Entity doesn't often give clues for people to try to escape it. So I'm wondering why it's taken such a form.

Reminds me a little of the lore with Cheryl, when as the fog takes her she hears Claudia mock her. Is it possible these memories form their own identities? Could Amanda's memories of Jigsaw create another version of Jigsaw who sees a way out, as he has done so in so many of his games?

This has gone off tangeant, but I'm quite excited to see where this goes and what it means for the lore and the workings of the Fog.

I also wanna know how he escaped that humanoid spider creature at the last Tome cutscene.

  • I mean, everyone buy clothes in real life even if we can only look at our hands, torso and legs, same thing in DbD. We just want to be stylish as we chase survivors.

I am hoping for pig chase music since I started playing this game

    @FilthyLegionMain said:

I agree. If they're doing a tome all about this chapter then I pray that the pig gets some love and care to her as a killer. It would make sense to have the music just for the RBT. It'd feel right.

Yeah, But we still have hope, seeing that BHVR and the Owners of the SAW have a good relationship (they even congrats DbD on their 5th anniversary and they are happy to be part of the game), there is a big chance to this to happen.

  • @Akumakaji said:

I honestly think that this is an awesome idea. That the base perk is tied to the basement (no pun...well yes it it intended) makes it borderline useless, safe for a few very specific instances and builds, like Otz basement Demogorgon.

Your general improvement on aura reading sounds pretty cool, but I I guess the numbers are a bit busted. A 40m nurse's calling is the horror, and 20s on Lethal Pursuer ia hilarious, but also quite devastating. Still, this would be an awesome direction and those numbers can always be tweaked.

Has any such idea/suggestions ever be picked up by BHVR and actually been implemented into the game?

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I agree that the numbers definitely need some tweaks like: 4/6/8 metres and 2/4/6 extras seconds and the perk will be fine. I didn't think about the numbers while I was writing this post.

  • I agree that we should have both, but what I was saying is that I more interest in pick rate than kill rate when they release these statics.

  • @dugman said:

On the flip side though you have people saying killers need major buffs based on nothing more than rampant speculation and emotion. Kill rates aren’t the only data set but they also aren’t totally meaningless. Nurse having a 40% kill rate doesn’t mean she needs a buff, but it DOES tell you that there is something unique about Nurse that is causing her to have such a low kill rate (in her case, it’s almost certainly a flag indicating that she has a much, much steeper learning curve than other killers.) Likewise a hypothetical killer with an exceptionally high kill rate (say 60%) might be an indication there’s something specific about them that could be a broken part of their kit. If all the killers are in the same general ballpark of kill rates it’s not necessarily the end of the story, but it does at least tell you there’s no immediate red flag there.

    @Aven_Fallen said:

Yeah. Or Killer players will find any excuse why Killer is "miserable" by stating that BHVR is lying in their stats or that the stats are flawed in any way.

I hope BHVR will never release statistics again.

    @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

Hopefully none at all. Oblivious players will use those stats and be like "Well, Killers have over 50% kill rate, they all need nerfed!"

Honestly, I like to see the pick rate rather than the kill rate.

  • Legion don't have a power.

  • This one became my 3rd favorite chase theme, only behind Myers and Deathslinger theme.

  • As a main Trickster, I can say with confidence that if you want to train with him, you should you use:

    Addons:

    edgeRevival.png

You should definitely use this addon. In my personal opinion, this addon is the second best "Very Rare" addon for him.

With this one, you can just throw knives near to survivor's feet (1m only) and you gonna do 50% laceration on them. This can help you control his recoil better, especially you who plays on console.

    Plus with the:

    SHOES.png

This addon makes you speed almost the same as survivors (from (3.86m/s / 96%) ---to---> (3.96m/s / 99%)), believe or not, this is a huge deal, specially in loops like TLs/Jungle-Gym/Shack.

Combining both addons, you can move almost the same speed as the survivor, throwing knifes on the floor (near of the survivor's feet) or in loop's corners, doing 50% damage and at the same time, you can keep following the survivor on the loop without lose much speed.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Perks:

Unfortunately, Trickster don't have perks that are really good on him; like M&A on Deathslinger, Infections on Oni or Ruin/Undying on Blight, so you should try some combinations and see what works for you.

But playing with him a lot, I can say that Bamboozle, Iron Maiden and Agitation are good picks on him (You don't need to run all of this perks in one build).

Bamboozle: to shut down strong loops where Trickster suffers a little bit, like Shack (use it with caution, this can make you predictable on loops).

Iron Maiden: to reload faster (4secs to 2secs).

Agitation: is good for bring survivors to Dead Zones or Basement.

Corrupt and DeadLock are also good on him, as he cannot pressuare gens on medium/large maps.

(btw, english is not my main language, so if I typed something wrong, sorry :ppp)!

  • Shadowborn, Bloodhound and PWYF are my favorites non-pupular perks.
