  • On console, as a green rank killer, you will face red/purple SWF teams almost every game, completely destroying you. Deranking is currently the only way to experience evenly matched games. It's sad. A rank 16 killer will consistently be matched against green rank survivors.

Dunno bout PC but console is #########

Not permanent solution but I've heard people say buff his movement speed while revving since it's what makes him so bad. I like the idea of that.

This! Bubba doesn't have map pressure but his chainsaw is easier to down people with than Billy's.. If they're close.

So increase his revving speed to 100%, maybe slightly decrease the revving time as well, and we have a solid killer.

Survivor queues were instant for me up until this chapter. Like I said, the queues switch back and forth. Some patches its killer queues, others its survivor queues. I remember at the GhostFace patch killer queues were awful.

It isn't a lack of any side, it's just the matchmaking itself.

That's not what everyone else seems to have experienced on PS4. It also makes no sense. The MM struggles because it can't make proper matches withing the intended rank range (which is already too wide, huge difference between rank 11 and rank 5.. Especially if the entire team is rank 5 SWF).

Please explain what this "bug" is and how it works. Why can't you just admit there is a lack of killers below rank 16? When I play survivor, both solo and SWF, queue times are often 5-15 mins and I often get matched with poor ranked killers while my teammates are red/purple.

The MM is showing symptoms of a dwindling player base, or better, a dwindling killer base.

Because everytime there is a lack of games it has always been a matchmaking issue. Before this update, survivors had the better queue times but killers had terrible queues. Was it because of a lack of survivors? No. It's the terrible matchmaking.

It's a back and fourth issue. One update its killers, the next its survivors and so forth. Killer is not as bad as solo queue.

What platform do you play on?

It's a matchmaking issue. Killer isn't that difficult on console if you know what you're doing imo. I walk out of so many games with a 3k-4k. Usually when I get a 1k-2k, it's due to terrible lag, me just making many mistakes, or getting bad luck in general. I find that on console the game is pretty enjoyable overall as a killer.

Why is it a matchmaking issue?

Lack of killers in their own rank, so red and purple survivors get matched with green killers.

I repeat: Lack. Of. Killers. !!!

    Why?

Because playing killer against SWF who know what they are doing, on console, is hopeless. And it's SWF 90% of the time on console, again, this is very different from PC matchmaking. Solo survivors in purple/red ranks are a rare sight on console and it's like nobody seems to realize this.

I deranked to 15 and finally have enjoyable, evenly matched matches again. Against rank 8-12 survivors.

No killers, no games for anyone. This issue needs to be addressed.

I am a red killer on console.... I’ve stated this.

There are literal counters to SWF. I’ve mentioned this. A great killer can win without tunneling. I have already given examples of two games I had during opening this thread, with two separate killers, and different perks. I don’t even have a rank 50 killer nor all teachables and I steadily get 3-4ks without tunneling a single survivor.

We, as killers, have tools to not tunnel.

    edit:

that’s also not the best way to earn BP. Most of my games I’m between 26-31k BP earned. Because I chase multiple survivors, hit gens, break pallets, hook survivors, etc. If your goal is BP, tunneling is not the way.

So what's your secret? 3 minutes in, 4 gens already popped VS SWF. You walk away from a gen and someone instantly walks around a corner to work on it again because you are chasing his teammate and he knows he is safe.

Even a solid 3-gen strategy can't hold up to 4 survivors aggressively attacking the gens. Eventually you lose.

So tell us your strategy for red rank SWF please, sense. Also state the killers you use.

  • @CLAUDETTEINABUSH said:

I'm a killer main playing the PC version of dbd and I can say that your problem exists in our lobbies too,in a way. Killers have 10 minute wait queue in all ranks and survivor's queue times are usually 3 seconds. Tho I can safely say that I don't see much of swf in the low ranks (I'm new at the game and I start to understand it). In the high ranks swf groups are really common and I can say that this is an issue.

I don't know if anyone agrees with me but I believe that the game should reward killers that are faced against swf groups, like giving them extra bps because, as you said , going against friends that can communicate can make the killer DC or just give up. I also believe it should be some sort of way to show the killer what they are going to deal with, like their ranks or just the information that they are swf

I might be a new player, but I've been against countless swf groups and I can admit I didn't have fun at all. I believe that rewarding killers for not dcing when they go against swf will be a healthy start, and probably have as a result less DC's.

Thing is, console are 90% SWF groups and because killers are so gimped and people don't want to play them, survivor queue times are long and killer queue times are instant, but killers are consistently matched against better players.

    PC VS Console:

Console survivor = 90% as good as PC survivor with KB/mouse.

Console killer = only 50% as good as PC killer with KB/mouse

Killer on console is much weaker than killer on pc, VS survivor. That's why there are so few killer mains.

  • Have you ever played green/purple/red rank killer on console?

Killers are gimped and SWF is so OP on console, tunneling and hook camping is often the best way to earn blood points (with BBQ), no joke. Chasing survivors around while they teabag and taunt you, bodyblock etc only to barely earn any points is not fun.

Survivors VS killer? More like I'm the poor guy defending gens VS a SWAT team.

See my thread in the feedback and suggestions forum. DBD on console is balanced the same way as on PC, causing major issues.

Killers wouldn't tunnel and hook camp if there was a more fun way to play and not end with 0K.

  • @Tr0g said:

I already created a thread about it here, but I would love a response from the devs on this issue.I myself play on PS4, but have heard the same issue exists on Xbox.

    The problem:

    • Survivors on console are just as good as on PC, killers are much worse due to using a controller in first person view. The amount of speed and accuracy a mouse gives makes looping and mindgaming as a killer much easier. However, all versions of the game are balanced the exact same way. If you watch red rank PC killers on youtube play, there's no way you can do that with a controller.
    • On console, partying up with voice chat is so easy the vast majority, yes, majority, of survivors play this way. I can provide statistical evidence that roughly 90% of my games are against a 3 or 4 man SWF group (higher ranked too, will get to that later).

    The result:

    • This results in a shortage of killers at anything better than rank 16, which means.....
    • As a killer, as soon as you reach rank 11-12, you will be faced with nothing but red/purple rank SWF teams that stomp you. 90% of my games are like this. And no, I'm not just remembering the bad moments, this is a real thing, I've been keeping track.
    • Survivor queue times take forever, killer queue times are instant. More proof of a lack of killers.
    • Because killers are gimped both with regards to matchmaking when you reach the green ranks (always vs better players) and controls, they are not fun to play, hence the shortage. Unless you're a unicum killer, or illegally use a mouse/keyboard, you won't be able to put up a serious fight against seasoned survivors. You'll have to fight hard just to get 1K
    • Literally the only way I can have fun with this game is by deranking to rank 16 and play against green rank survivors of my skill level, having some good games, and derank again when I start meeting the red/purple SWF groups.

This cannot go on! 1 year from now the next gen consoles will be released, who is going to play old gen poorly balanced DBD then? You could release it for next gen consoles, but not like this.

    The solution:

    • Separate balancing for console and PC: killers are currently not even close to on par with survivors on console. This will make them more fun to play and hopefully solve the matchmaking issue
    • When balancing, keep in mind that console survivors nearly always play with friends and voice chat, giving them a serious advantage. There are more solo survivors on PC.
    • ?? everyone please provide input. But as I said, this simply cannot go on, the console situation is dire for killers. And when there are no killers, survivors can't play either.

Response from the devs please. Don't call this a "mm issue". It's a clear shortage of killers because you have to be borderline masochistic to play a green rank or better killer on console. The only way to solve this is to make playing a killer actually viable and fun. In the meantime I'll keep deranking every few days to avoid the full red/purple rank SWF groups.

Some screenshots of what the situation is like for killers on console (I have around 20 screenshots total). Keep in mind these are not exceptions, this is what it is, 90% of the time:

3-man SWF and one solo tryhard that DC'd after a minute, and a full 4-man SWF group. Story of any green rank killer's life.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/590/MKULJUVQPSWE.png

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/939/O3YUYBRIQYN0.png

Does this look fun to you? Only reason I get decent bloodpoints is because they are literally farming me rather than actually trying to escape.

Console DBD needs to be balanced in a different way than PC DBD.

I dare any red rank PC killer to use a controller instead of a mouse/keyboard, see how well you do in the red ranks. That's basically the situation for console killers.

  • Consoles support mouse/keyboard, but DBD on console disables this. There are workarounds using hardware adapters, but it's not allowed. For very obvious reasons..

  • I counted today, played 13 matches, all 13 were against 3-4 man SWF and all 13 were against survivors with a much better rank. This right here is the norm for killers on console:

    justanotherconsolegame.png

90% of all games are against SWF, again, percentage is not an exaggeration. In my 13 games today I have never been up against a green rank team, only reds and purples. I've only been playing for a month while these guys know every loop and pallet etc. It's not fun. In fact, it makes me want to stop playing. That's a problem.

From what I understood the killer MM is not as bad on PC as it is on console. And for you PC players, just to be clear: survivors on console are roughly on par with survivors on PC, whereas killers on console are gimped due to the controller. Imagine playing killer on PC in the red ranks.. with a controller. That's essentially the difficulty level.

No wonder there's such an extreme shortage of killers on console, why would anyone want this? Any new killer mains buying the game are immediately scared off by this crap or start playing survivor. I don't care if my queue times go up, put me up against people of my skill level and not much better ranked players every. single. time.

Something needs to be done or the game will die on consoles, due to a lack of killers. It's already dying, survivor queue times are very long. I truly feel that PC players don't realize just how bad the situation is for killers on console. I will create a post in the feedback forum as well, hopefully a dev will read it and respond.

  • I counted. I played 12 games today. All 12, no exception were against a 3-4 man SWF group and all 12 were against much better ranks than I was.

This is a serious problem on console. Of course nobody wants to play killer like this:

    justanotherconsolegame.png

These games are the norm. Sometimes there's one guy with a lower rank in there but this is what it is. I never go up against a full green rank SWF team at my level, it's always this #########. And these people know what they're doing, they know every loop and pallet on every map while I only started playing a month ago.

Why should I still play killer? Why play at all? Something needs to be done about this or their game is going to die on console. There is already a shortage of killers because only a masochist will keep doing this for extended periods of time.

For PC players, you need to understand that survivors on console are just about as strong as they are on PC, but killers are much weaker due to the use of a controller and framerate issues. To make matters worse, you face SWF 90% of the time. Again, percentage not exaggerated.

I will create a thread about this problem in the feedback forum, maybe someone will listen.

Because those values aren't 100% accurate and you're probably remembering wrong.

Instablinds used to exist, they don't anymore. For a survivor to successfully flashlight blind you, they must start blinding when the killer has just about hoisted the survivor onto their shoulder.

It can't be any more or any less, it's got a pretty high skill cap.

But if the pickup animation is 3-3.5 seconds and blinding someone takes 3 seconds, the math does not add up there.

  • @Warlock_2020 said:

lol No. Addons are not OP. There are few addons I would say are OP on either side. Maybe the Oni's ultra rare, but even then....

@Tr0g Ummm...no flashlight blinds that fast. No addons enhances the time it takes to blind. Survivors are not stomping killers by any stretch of the imagination. I just had 8 matches with only 1 survivor escaping. Good days and bad days.

    That's because you play solo.

Try playing killer on console. You get 3-4 man SWF groups pretty much every match, it's unbearable to play killer. Solo players barely exist. I wish I bought the PC version.

  • @AsePlayer said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/941503#Comment_941503

Pretty sure it just makes the blind last longer, not speed up the blind.

If it's 3 seconds to blind then how come survivors have time to run into my FoV and blind me when the pick-up animation is 3-3.5 seconds and I make sure to look away when picking someone up?

  • @AsePlayer said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/941423#Comment_941423

No add-on affects how quickly you get blinded. It takes roughly 3 seconds no matter what.

Not true. There are add-ons to increase brightness, making you practically blind much faster.

  • @Apple2o said:

Some of the survivor add-ons are strong, but honestly nothing compares to the add-ons the killers can bring in. Something like iri heads is way more overpowered than a BNP or insta-medkit will ever be.

Yeah except there's only 1 killer and there are 4 survivors. Killer add-ons are a must whereas survivor items are optional. A survivor can go commando and have a great game, a killer without add-ons might as well go afk.

  • Purple flashlights that blind me in 0.5 sec need to go.

Actually all purple items should go. Survivors are already stomping killers.

  • The Deep Wound timer pauses when sprinting which is stupid. Keep it going so people must heal within 20 seconds or get downed.

    Fixed.

  • AFK Bubba with Insidious (for the silence) is hilarious. People will stand in front of you for boldness points and you can scare the ######### out of them by suddenly attacking them with the chainsaw, also triggering the heartbeat. I've even had 4k games this way.

  • Why do you care about pips. Seriously. The rank system means nothing in this game. Hell I'd rather lose a pip than gain one as a killer, because as soon as you become a green killer you will face red/purple SWF groups 90% of the time on console. Percentage nog exaggerated.

  • This rank matchup is literally every game for me on PS4, and yes this was a 4-man SWF group toying with me (I can't remember the last game against solo survivors):

    killerranks.png

There is 100% a shortage of killers, hence why survivor queue times at all ranks are long and killer queue times, after rank 16, are always instant. All day long even outside of peak times this is the case. I don't understand why you'd argue with that. It's not a MM bug it's just basic math, you need 1 killer for every 4 survivors and right now that isn't the case, hence survivors have to wait longer.

If it was a bug, there would also be killers queuing for a long time. But there aren't.

  • Buff killers so people actually want to play them. Game is so survivor-sided that, despite only needing 1/5 people to play killers, thereis still a shortage of killers. Why? Because SWF with voice chat bully the crap out of killers and make it nearly impossible to win without a mori. You get teabagged and taunted all the time and if you dare to get 1 kill you will get toxic messages from survivors. Obviously this makes the experience for the killer not enjoyable to say the least.

Also: survivors can make tons of mistakes and escape. If a killer makes 1 mistake against a coordinated team it's game over for him.

Buff killers and your queue times will go down.

As a killer I have no queue times. When I press ready I instantly get a lobby with 4 people. Usually a much better rank than me too, making my game experience as a killer even worse. This is on PS4

This is basically every matchup for me as killer on PS4, a 4-man SWF group with much better ranks:

    killerranks.png

  • Killers between ranks 16-20 have queue times due to MM issues. Ranks 1-15.. no queue time whatsoever. When I press ready I can't even grab a drink, instant lobby with 4 people and 1 min timer.

Definitely a shortage of killers. Which is worrying considering killers only need to make up 1/5 of the population. People have a tendency to flock towards the "stronger" side and the game heavily favors survivors, to the point where killers are bullied. Being a killer is actually really stressful, whenever I play survivor I'm amazed at how relaxing it is and how forgivable the gameplay is.

And yes, my gut tells me SWF is MUCH more common on consoles, because it's almost every game. Which makes sense because console gaming is more social than PC gaming.

  • @Waffleyumboy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/941010#Comment_941010

If the survivor queues are only a problem at red ranks it's obviously a lack of red rank killers problem and not a lack of any killers problem. Ranking system bad as I always say.

Survivor queues are a problem at all ranks. Rank 11 survivor atm.. takes long to find a match solo. As SWF it can easily take 10 mins. And that's during primetime on PS4.

  • I never understood the point of the yellow mori. You get more points by hooking the last survivor lol..

  • @SambaSaw said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/940711#Comment_940711

What are their disadvantages? If you mean controller can't they just plug in keyboard and mouse?

DBD does not permit the use of keyboard/mouse because it offers too big of an advantage. It's possible to get around this with hardware adapters to trick your console into thinking you're using a controller when you're not but that's a rare sight.

Also, mouse/keyboards for consoles are quite expensive and most console owners don't own them. They would be at a serious disadvantage and probably quit the game because of it.

I'm flabbergasted at the "support" for cross-platform play between console and PC in this thread. Seriously makes me wonder if you've ever player a PC game before. The amount of speed, accuracy and general control a high-DPI mouse gives would derstroy anything a controller has to offer. Even at 100% sensitivity (which becomes extremely inaccurate due to pixel skipping) you're a snail compared to a mouse user.

  • @ThisGuuy83 said:

I love how people's argument for not doing it is PC would crush us, yet US CONSOLE players are mostly the ones who want it. And how do you know we would have a disadvantage on something that hasn't even been tried and tested? We have bad frame rate on console, yet some players can still dominate. Your telling me we couldn't keep up? I call horse 💩💩💩! To make an assumption without having zero evidence to back it up is stupid. We at least deserve the chance, or we can just keep waiting in que hell forever to get a match when it's not peak time...

Never been tried and tested? DBD on console actually bans the use of mouse/keyboard for its competetive advantage. Yes, the advantage is that big. Not a single FPS game offers cross-platform play between console and PC because a mouse absolutely destroys a controller. It's no comparison.

PC gaming is the Olympics, us console players.. we're the Paralympics.

You're never gonna get cross-platform play with PC and that's a very very good thing. I wouldn't mind cross-platform play with other consoles but from a technical and legal point of view that's actually a lot more complicated than you think. Do we want the devs working on bugs, game balance and content or do we want them to work on cross-platform console play for a full year?

  • @ThisGuuy83 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/941034#Comment_941034

So, where's your proof? Please show me. I'm dying to see it...

Proof of what? It's a well known fact that FPS games play much better with a mouse. Look at PC killer videos on youtube.. you're not gonna do those 0.1 second 180 degree turns on a controller, not even at 100% sensitivity. With a mouse you can do that.. and be accurate too.

  • Hell no. Survivors are decent but the difference between killer on console and killer on PC is enormous. Controllers have MUCH less control than a mouse.

Console survivors will be destroyed by PC killers and PC survivors will laugh even ahrder at console killers,

  • Yeah, if I know survivors are around, especially if I see nobody with BBQ, I will stay near the hook and only patrol nearby gens. Still get called a camper often.. What am I supposed to do, go to the other side of the map even though I know nobody is there?

  • @Waffleyumboy said:

I have fun as killer on console. The matchmaking issue isn't exclusive and doesn't come from a lack of killers, it is a product of inflated survivor ranks. I usually get at least 2 kills against full swf without using ruin but I mainly play Billy and GF who are console top tiers atm imo. Try improving at the game and/or bringing map offerings and tell me how it goes for you man.

Killer queue times = practically instant, survivor queue times = 1-10 minutes. A killer shortage is a fact, otherwise this large difference in queue times wouldn't exist.

I am pretty good at the game but you simply can't beat a coordinated team with voice comms unless you play a 100% perfect game (whereas they can make many mistakes and still escape), and on console that's nearly the only kind of team you face. The game isn't balanced around killers meeting a super coordinated 3-4 man group every time.

I don't have the PC version of the game but I would really like to compare the matchmaking. I feel like the PC version has way more solo players. This is also reflected in the videos I see on YT by known streamers. Meanwhile all I get is 3-4 people popping into my lobby at exactly the same time, with perks that complement each other.. I very very rarely play a game against solo survivors. It's immediately noticeable they lack comms and I dominate them.

I've faced plenty of SWF groups in red ranks as Hag and never had any trouble I wouldn't have with any other killer. I think you just need more experience with her.

If you're good you should be getting an instant or near instant hit every time your trap is triggered, so no long chases. You need to constantly have your finger ready on the teleport key as Hag.

Besides, they have no way of knowing it's a Hag. So your nightmare scenario would be more than one person bringing flashlights and someone with OoO to see where you place traps, while someone is doing nothing besides following you to deactivate traps. That's just not realistic.

I think you just need to play more calm and confident against these groups as Hag.

PC or console? Maybe it's a framerate issue but even when I teleport instantly, the game can be too choppy for me to get a hit in and I still end up in a long chase..

  • Franklin's demise is a joke against SWF, someone else will pick up the flashlight while I'm chasing. The perk only works properly against solo players.

I truly don't see how Hag can be top tier killer when literally all she has is a trap that you can teleport to for an M1 hit. And that's if you teleport instantly, if you teleport after half a second you'll just end up in a chase that lasts forever with her speed.

Against solo players I do fine with the Hag. Against SWF I do terribly, and on console that's 90% of the matches. Yes, other killers also suffer from SWF, but the Hag suffers much more than others, even more if there's a flashlight. What use is laying down a trap when someone will destroy it with a flashlight 5 seconds later because it was called out on voice?

I feel like I'm talking to PC players here. I don't know what PC matchmaking is like but the vast majority of console matches are against 3-4 man SWF groups. Nearly everyone with a console has a headset and console players play with friends more often than PC players.

  • I feel like Hag is extra problematic against SWF. Other killers retain their abilities but if there are 1-2 flashlights and voice comms in the game your traps are pointless. And then you're just an M1 killer with 110% mov speed and a crappy camera height.

She has traps that she can teleport to, to M1 people.. So you have to play mind tricks twice to get 1 down. Other killers have abilities to down someone immediately. Freddy can teleport to any gen of choice (or fake teleport) while also countering loops with his Dream Snares. Doctor can counter loops with his shock while also passively making the game more difficult for survivors and revealing their positions. Demogorgon can teleport around the maps using portals. All those killers have 115% mov speed too. Hag depends on her traps being triggered to use her underwhelming teleport ability.

I just feel the Hag's ability is underwhelming compared to other killers. Like someone said, you're only supposed to play one half of the map. It's like you must go for a 3-gen strategy otherwise you can't win. And when you're down to 3 gens her poor chase potential will make the game an endless stalemate.

On console 90% of games are against SWF with voice comms (consoles are more social), so I consider gameplay against SWF to be standard.

  • @anarchy753 said:

I find it really aggravating when I escape him in a chase, but then just scream and the chase is back on.

He didn't do anything skillful to cause that, he didn't track me down, RNG just said "he found you now!"

Weirdly enough, that isn't part of what's being changed.

I don't think the loss of the static field is bad at all, in fact the static blast is way more powerful outside of revealing everyone at the start of the match. I feel like he'll also be way more fun to play now without form swapping, movement speed slows, and being able to reliably cause stalling to multiple survivors rather than just the one directly in front of you.

Switching between Treatment and Punishment modes at the right time and shocking properly actually does require some skill, otherwise you will get everyone's madness up, sure, but also get looped for 3 minutes by 1 guy. And some addons like the Iridescent King will completely change the playstyle to shocking vs static field.

Don't forget he has lower movement speed in Treatment mode and cannot attack, he needs to switch to Punishment to attack. And while charging a shock he moves at like 50% speed, it's really slow, often making it a choice between shocking someone or hitting them.

  • If you play solo you pretty much have to. Or carry a medkit. Teammates won't always heal you even if you're standing next to them.

  • As a killer, playing against 4 SWF with SC (this is actually fairly common) is nearly impossible. They don't waste time healing each other. Anyone who gets hit, hides and heals themselves so their teammates can keep rushing gens. If you chase a god-looping survivor long enough to actually down them, 2-3 gens will have been popped in exchange for 1 hook.

Solo players are rarer than groups on console due to their more social nature vs PC gaming. Every game is against a 3-4 SWF group and you can easily tell they are using voice comms so your aura might as well be revealed the entire game. It's just not fun anymore, hence why there are barely any killers rank 1-10. As a rank 15 killer you will often be matched against rank 5 survivors because nobody wants to play killer in those ranks. It's nuts. As a killer it only takes 10 seconds to get into a lobby, SWF groups have to wait quite a while and even then they get dodged often.

SWF is killing the game because nobody wants to play with them. But the devs don't do ######### because these SWF whiners cry that they will leave the game if anything changes. It's okay, there's a surplus of survivors anyway, just go.

  • Doctor is extremely powerful in a 3-gen setup. If they are somewhat close together the game can easily last 30-60 mins until either side makes a mistake. Usually it's a case of hitting a survivor, then going back to your gens to guard them, and they get healed..

Annoying for both sides although I must say Doctor with BBQ farms points like crazy. I very often get ~30k base bloodpoint games with him, doubled to 60k. But they also last quite long

Could be the different TVs and if game mode is turned on or off. Not sure though.

Other games do reach 60FPS on my TV.. It's only DBD that is choppy.

  • I have the disc version, he has the download, could that be it? Maybe In have some old version of the game engine? The disc is required to play..

To celebrate the end of the year, we've hidden Steam DLC codes from each of the chapters released in 2019 all around the forums. Some will only appear on certain pages, and others will be hidden in plain sight. Keep your eyes peeled and be quick, they're first come first serve.

Good luck, and thank you all for an amazing year.

How about a holiday sale? 50% off everything. It's christmas and literally nothing is going on in the playstation store except a few cosmetics people have to pay for. Sales everywhere.. except DBD.

DIscounts = 10x more sales = much more profit. I'm sure you know that. Steam's holiday sales is their most profitable time of the year despite the high discounts.

I'm not spending anything on the game unless it's discounted and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

  • Survivors can still do their objectives and escape. Free ez, fast bloodpoints. Run around the killer to get around 30k BP.

Also, AFKing is perfect when you lose to a toxic SWF team and all 4 of them are waiting at the exit gate to teabag you while you're taking a piss or making yourself a snack. They will seriously wait until it's almost the end of the game for the almighty teabag.

Who cares about depipping anyway? Lol.. Rank means nothing in this game.

  • Mostly works on PC with a high-DPI mouse, Same goes for things like hiding the stain. On console even at 100% sensitivity, which means lots of pixel skipping, you won't turn fast enough to pull off those moves. Try looking away to hide the stain on console, chances are you'll lose the survivor due to disorientation lol.

PC players seem to know the maps better as well.

  • Easiest: Legion, Leatherface unless it's a basement party

    Hardest:

    • Doctor, if he goes for a 3-gen strat prepare to play for an hour
    • Hag (traps at exit gates that cant be disarmed without flashlights)
    • Spirit (usually skilled players)
    • Freddy because it's basically always a 3-gen with Freddy
  • You need to see the survivors because if you don't you can't adjust your perks for their items.

You're completely fine with your game locking you out for an hour because of game-breaking bugs.

    Enough said.

Haven't received a single penalty yet soooo.. Seems to be a problem on your side. Fix your drivers.

  • Sometimes people think they're being tunneled and camped when in reality it's the best decision for the killer to hit you, and if he knows there are survivors near the hook he is obviously not leaving, that would be dumb af.

Survivors are so much more toxic. On PS4 there's no chat system so they actually go out of their way to look me up and message me on the Playstation Network with a bunch of insults after I kill them. Luckily swearing is not allowed so I report them all and they all get warning points, but man survivors are toxic.

Never been messaged by a killer after a game.

So you're willing to risk getting hard-locked out of the game because you're that impatient.

As I said none of this should be even considered until the devs fix their own mess first.

So you're willing to endure a DC,or multiple, every game, just to avoid the occasional 1 minute lockout of your game when it glitches?

Honestly you just sound like one of those people who used to ragequit, but can't anymore. That's the only explanation I can think of for your reasoning. This update had to happen.

Besides, I don't believe you realize what "fixing their own mess" actually means. The game is so complex it could take years to accomplish a fully stable game and even then some bugs will persist. If you're not a software developer you won't understand the actual scope and complexity of something like this, and it's on FOUR different platforms too.

Again, this update had to happen.
