  • The devs have stated they are fine with the current state of noed.

  • Is musical chairs too competitive??? I remeber kids bumping eachother off the chairs at times just so they wouldn't be knocked out. For a casual game, it sparked a lot of competition 😂😂😂.

  • Any time you put players vs each other, it becomes competative. Take a casual 1 on 1 basketball game amongst 2 non professional players. Even though it's a casual game of 1 on 1, each player is going to try to win.

I hate what E-sports has done to the term competative.

I love how Samination makes the Legion look like an idiot. As a Frank main, it makes me laugh while simultaneously wanting to explain myself. I like how all the killers have personality traits that make them seem terrible, it's funny.

Killer rule: Spin in circles at the exit gates if it was a fun game

Survivor rule: If there's an afk killer, run in circles around them for bps.

I 💜 each parody, they are so hilarious.

It's hard to pick favorite moments, but i do like when legion and ghostface meet 😂

  • I know @samination references the survivors rule book for killers in his dbd parody 7.

i kinda wish he would make it a series, different survivors explaning the rules and so on an so on with the killers participating in the demonstrations of the do's and don't of the rule book...

  • gg bb ez killer...is not the problem here. The second they start using racial/homophobic slurs, they need to be reported and issued some kind of penalty. When reporting, try to provide as much info as you can, steam IDs screenshots...

  • why is there an influx of so many new accounts....

I don’t believe in a DC penalty at all 😂 why should a player pay money for a game that 1) has lag issues still making it unfair to play the game giving the opposing side the advantage

    2) survivor isn’t fun most of the time, killer is. *Repair progress bars, only two buttons used to interact with everything in the game, slugging and Mori’ing. Killers end chases too fast imo with the exception of a few good places to loop. they’re taking those away though. Face camping. List goes on and on. It’s either stare at yourself on the hook or watch a progress bar. Chases aren’t fun with the vast Easy amount of ways to acquire one hit downs. Eh.

    3) oh... bad hitboxes at vaults. Why is it I’m on the other side, taken a few steps and going down still blows my mind 🤷‍♂️

    4) ohhhh. Also, the players that usually DC are the ones that weren’t rewarded enough anyways for playing. We all know killers get rewarded a lot more for playing than survivors do 🤷‍♂️ I think it’s easier to fulfill killer categories than all 4 survivor ones. That might be why. You gotta make it feel worth all of our time here. Mori’s take away from that. As do face camping and tunneling. It’s not fun. These are all viable reasons why someone would DC. Rather than kick people out of the game they should be encouraging them to play and enjoy it more by implementing more enjoyable survivor stuff :)

    you agreed to the eula...

  • i'm in murica, and on ps4.

  • way to killers!!!!!! let's celebrate with shots 👀...choose your poison 🤔

  • I'm not sure if it would help, but do you play with headphones?

Sound is so important as a killer...without my headphones, i am complete trash as a killer...

DBD currently has above 30k average players and the queue times were fine before GF chapter, with about 20k to 16k average players. I don't understand how "player base split" is an argument to queue times. It's not like "all the red rank killers would go for casual mode and noone else"

I was always able to get into games as solo survivor before the gf chapter very quickly. After the gf chapter, my survivor queue times went to crap.

I gave up trying to queue up as survivor. I'm now in a rank 20 black hole. Why am I going to wait so long to queue up as a survivor, when I can queue up for matches so quickly as a killer.

  • because it's not robert englund's freddy 🤬

"As it was mentioned in the thread by different people, NOED isn't rewarding poor gameplay from Killers:

Killer has to play the trial with only 3 perks before the doors are activated.

The perk can be fully deactivated by survivors

If the killer has no luck in hooking many survivors before the doors are activated, then the survivors should have been able to cleanse totems without feeling pressure, thus, not giving the NOED edge to the killer. It's on them if it activates.

If survivors allow the killer to get a 4K with NOED in the end game, I would argue that survivors made mistakes during their end game plays or didn't prepare for the potential NOED activation.

Finally, if you don't want to play NOED, it's your prerogative. In my opinion, building a build that is strong in end game isn't rewarding failure, it is using perks for their intended purposes. The purpose of NOED is to give a killer a burst of strength in end game. Since it's effectively strong, survivors have the power to deactivate it, if they focus secondary objectives.

The killer players choosing to play NOED are banking on a burst of strength at the end for the downside of playing with 3 perks the rest of the game and having a chance to have their perk deactivated. It's a high risk, high reward scenario.

    Do bones."

That is true, lol - I thought about adding that when I wrote the comment but decided against it.

I do understand what you mean about the pips. I would say that it shouldn't matter too much since moris are so rare and your rank would therefore even out over time regardless, but they're really not as rare as they should be. I've said for a long time that the only unbalanced thing about moris is their rarity, but that's another discussion.

Perhaps we might hope that a feature of the new matchmaking system might be that the drop in one's MMR is less if killed by a mori, and the increase is greater if one manages to survive a mori, or something to that effect.

how do you take away all the moris

offerings that players spent bloodpoints on...

going further, how do you say fu to the design team because of feelings...

I think the problem is knowing that a player is controlling the moving pixels and is doing it to be a jerk. I don't feel annoyed at the action itself, but more so at the fact that the player feels entitled to behave in such a manner. Especially on the games where I get matched against SWF groups on big maps and don't do very well as killer. Or the games where I see my teammates crouch spamming at the rank 11 Nurse player who didn't get a single hook or even down the entire game and is probably already feeling irritated enough. I wouldn't consider it "toxicity", since it doesn't really affect gameplay, but it's definitely negative and unnecessary behavior.

But, then again, a lot of people get enjoyment out of making other people feel bad. It's just worse in DbD because of the massive disparity between the two roles. Killers are toxic because they feel like they're "above" the survivors and feel entitled to get the 4k, and survivors are toxic because they feel like they've achieved some great goal because they looped the killer and dropped a pallet on his head.

Without being in the same room as people or knowing them as a person, how can you 100% know that a person is being toxic?

I drink when i play, i've been told I play toxic when i'm drunk.

There is a window, a small one, where I'm I am not "thinking" anymore. My playstyle shifts to more instinct than trying to play at 10000 brain power trying to mind game. maybe like feral wolverine, where all answers can be solved by adamantium claws 😂😂😂...

I'm not in a state of fair play at this point, and not because i want to ruin ppls lives. I'm running on basic instincts with no emotional distractions...

Then i take that one drink too many and it's like a rank 20 killer playing blindfolded 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • A survivor's goal is to attempt to escape. The most effective way is to pound out gens like they are going out of fashion so you can open the gates and escape. If you have the opportunity to use a key for the hatch escape, you should take it.

For killers, their goal is to try to stop survivors from escaping. When 1 player is going up against a team a four, the one player team wants to weaken the four player team. If it can be done in an efficient way, removing 1 out of the 4 players is the best choice for the single player team.

Queue times are a different story...I let my survivor rank drop to 20 and I just don't have the patience to wait for survivor games, when I can get nonstop games as a killer. My killer dropped to brown rank since i got sucked into db kakarot, and i was able to still get games quickly. I actually liked playing solo survivor even if i got mori'd or camped or what not...

  • There is nothing that says all your games should be super happy big fun times. Mathieu Cote has said in the past that DBD should be frustrating at times.

  • I really need to unlock all the perks on my p3 billy...He doesn't have the best perks due to the bloodweb hating me and spending points on other killers.

I was happy with the bloodweb changes. Still, unlocking all perks on a killer takes a good amount of blood points, especially when your goal is to unlock all perks on all killers 😂😂😂☠

Then when a new killers comes out, i have to unlock their perks on killers i've already finished...lol it never ends 🤣

  • because people feel things are toxic...

  • predator hunting grounds/evil resident resistance won't be DBD killers...

  • The emblem system needs to be revisited.

  • They put in major effort in creating distinct moris for the killers. Why would they turn around and reduce the options to mori?

Also MC has stated before that dbd is supposed to feel frustrating at times.

  • I believe it's wabbit season according to monto...

lol you beat me to it😂

  • ever since the ghost face chapter, my suvivor queue times went to absolute #########...now i am a rank 20 survivor and the queue times are even worse...solo queue times...

  • I'm killing it up, or at least trying to....tequila shots...😂

  • My games have been fluctuating alot lately...

I get red rank survivors that really play well, they make me work for it.

Then i get survivors that play potato in the match and then it shows them as red rank survivors and it felt like i was playing against brown rank. I sometimes have to spin around as a killer because i'm stunned by the absolute potatoeness in the match 🤣🤣🤣

  • you should now how to beat this build...do gens...

  • show the whole screen shot...i can't see who died or escaped.

I've been going against red rank potatoes tnight using different killers. I'm using great value perk builds. They have to be boosted red rank survivors, swf that are just terrible at the game or I'm above all killer mains.

    And i play drunk..

there are matches that are not in my favor because i'm going against other players who know what they are doing...but as of lately...potato city...

  • match making is broken and they have said this since last year...

Nothings wrong with them. It’s when their abused in the way he’s using them. He knows he has bad internet, so by doing so he knows he’s going to get easy downs and kills with Iri Head and Mori because people are going to be running into walls etc so bad that they’ll be easy target to pick off when the survivor has no way of knowing if their actually away or close to killer. Other than that I was referring more to him calling me a Cry baby a f word and terrible player over not being able to play the game due to horrendous lag on his part.

I am with you on bad internet or lag switching or doing anything that affects other player's latency in a negative aspect.

  • Minus the horrible lag, what is so toxic about using in game mechanics/perks/abilities/offerings/addons?

  • devs have said camping is a strategy, change the dev's minds

  • I'd also suggest playing killer in order to get a better understanding of each killers stengths/weakness.

  • Bring perks that help solo play.

    prioritize gens over everything else.

If you are altruistic, make sure you are being safe.

    Don't be overly altruistic.

If you get hooked, struggle as long as you can in hopes that you buy time for the rest of the potatos to finish some gens.

    Don't DC.

  • If you suspect they are hacking, take screenshots or record. Report and provide as much information as you can.

  • Humanity is toxic by nature.

  • match making is broken and the devs have notified us...they are working on a new system...please wait...

  • ebony moris are fine and so are keys...don't even bother to try and change my mind(s)...

  • I would also suggest if you're new to playing killer, play perkless/or with their unique perks to get a better idea of their weaknesses/strengths.

  • Know when to break chases

    Don't respect pallets

The earlier you can get rid of the shack pallet the better

try to chase survivors into tiles so they don't get the fast vault

don't go after clicky clicky, more than likey they are baiting you

try to find the weakest link

learn when to slug vs when to hook

decide which generators are not worth it

don't let your emotions make bad decisions

    experiment with different builds/killers

there are two types of basic attacks, get a feel for when to use each one

try to herd the survivor in a chase to spots that are better for you

and like others have said, you will not win 100% of the games you play, just take each mach as a learning experience on your tactics, perk builds, and different killers

  • try to exploit altruism...
