  • This is fake news.

  • The old WGLF was where it was at before it got nerfed. 100,000 bp per game.

  • I would say probably the moon rise event because that was not a very fun event in terms of bp bonus.

  • Why do you keep pumping out threads wouldn’t it be better to just keep it to one main thread and call it suggestions?

    Other thread: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/50820/what-if-toolboxes-only-applied-to-sabo#latest

  • That would make the toolbox useless because sabotaging hooks is rarely worth it anymore. What about us solo players?

  • For real there already is a thread for this topic.

  • My opinion:

I do not understand why people complain about the price cosmetics and demand for lower prices when most cosmetics are free to obtain with shards. There are some cosmetics (not many) that cost actual money and that’s because the developers need to make money. This is why cells cost a decent amount of change. Why would a person spend cells on something if you can buy it with shards? I believe that the majority that spend money on auric cells are the dedicated players who really enjoy the game and want to support it. Not saying that all dedicated players need to buy cells. It just seems that DBD is trying to market to players who can see themselves spending countless hours in the game. Finally, the skins are literally just pixels and the game does not force you to buy the skin if you do not want too. Please take my opinion with a grain of salt and I respect everyone who are making valid a claim or opinion on the opposing side.

You have to be in the locker for 3 seconds before it'll activate. If you jump in a locker mid-chase, they'll just grab you out with no drawbacks

Yeah but 3 seconds is not a lot if you can manage to vault over a window of a build like gas haven and into a locker. Its risky but could work and its not impossible.

Right but it's not like literally mid chase you can use it, like DS (currently). It takes more planning/time. It's not just a "stop the chase" button.

I see it more for when you hide, and they get lucky enough or clever enough to find you, and you HAVE to jump out or get snatched.

Still a very strong perk. If you know what your doing and can out smart a killer in a chase long enough to use the perk.

But you have to be in it for 3 seconds. Mid chase wont help if they're on top of you.

I just like that if I hide and they randomly decide to check mine, it's not a hop out "hey hows it going I'm just gonna go...." and get smacked. Now I have a shot lol.

I think there is enough time depending on the distance the killer has to be in order to get locker stunned. Again this all depends on the distance.

Before going down, you'd jump in a locker and wait a whole three seconds to try and get the jump on the Killer?

This is true. Still think there could be some interesting gameplay though?

  • You can have your friend jump into the locker for you with the perk.

  • I think it could be a strong perk imagine jumping into a locker before dying it’s an extra chance.

    Definitely not. Too situational

    It stuns the killer though?

Ok. So basically only event skins could be used for scams? Come on now. Be real.

I feel like all items will actually be used in scams. However, event items will probably targeted/used more because it attracts more attention than items you can always buy in the shop. Honestly, I just wanted to state my opinion on the topic and I did. Good day! :D

Firecrackers are so useless they are very easy to avoid.

I agree. I'm new and even I've only been hit by them 1 time. I can only imagine how bad they are at high killer ranks

Answer: Very difficult to make firecrackers blind a killer at high ranks. Most of the time you need the killer to be stupid enough to hit you in order to blind him to drop the survivor.

  • Trading in general would probably cause issues. Gifting cells and items through the shop is a great idea though.

The only issue would be exclusive cosmetics because they would cause a lot of issues if they were tradeable.

What issue would they cause....? Like what legtitinate issue could me giving someone an event skin cause? They don’t any advantages.

Scamming and on top of that it would just encourage people to start selling things outside of the game.

  • I agree there should some kind of season rewards, but maybe just with player ranks.

  • Not to mention the bp points were weak compared to the other events.

I'm not sure this could work unless the game was entirely reworked from the ground up. This would essentially mean that you are guaranteed to get a hit every 20-30 seconds. With that in mind, it would become less about who can outplay the other and more of a race against the clock. Your ability in a chase wouldn't be nearly as important as your teammates ability to do generators.

I feel like this would take all skill out of the game. Catching someone as the killer isn't about capitalizing on someone's mistakes or mindgames, it'd just be about walking after someone until they can't sprint anymore. Survivor wouldn't be about trying to outsmart the killer and knowing how to run tiles, it would just be about doing generators as fast as possible before the killer has time to down everyone.

The only way I can see this working is if killers also had the same mechanic, though this would not work as-is because killers have a wide variety of powers that would circumvent that (blinking as the nurse, chainsaw sprinting as the hillbilly, etc.). If the killer has more stamina, the system would be negligible as killer. If the killers have the same amount of stamina, there would be a very real chance that the killer runs out of stamina first and can't possibly catch up.

I'm also not sure how much of an effect removing scratch marks would have. So long as you can keep track of that survivor for the first ~20 seconds, you can hit them and cause them to bleed. The blood trail would be very easy to follow. At this point they will also been groaning in pain so unless they are running Iron Will, it's going to be impossible for them to lose you. It would also be hard to lose a killer when they know you're going to try to hide after ~20 seconds in a chase.

The short version, I think this would basically just be free downs for the killer. I feel like this would take a lot of skill out of the game and just turn it into a race against the clock. You're more or less just getting a super bloodlust every 20 seconds, whether you break pallets or not.

The fact that this would require a full rebalencing of the game is something I acknowledge. Hence why I am pitching this as a separate gamemode instead of as a change to the current one, too different to work with the current one.

Why would survivors want to play such a gamemode? Also balancing this gamemode would probably be a huge waste of time. I would rather see the devs do something else with their resources.
