Easiest Fix To The SWF Problem;
- Voice chat
- Show who's SWF in end game screen
- Bonus Bloodpoints for Killer after facing SWF

Nah they havn't, but I imagine the results were likely greatly skewed 🤣

That's because MMR is currently turned off.

Firstly, hex builds rely heavily on things that don't depend on killer like totem placement. If you think that "strongest" build is a build with colossal risk of collapsing, then idk what I can advise you.
Secondly, hexy tournament hasn't showed effectiveness of other builds. It only showed that killers there considered undying combo their best choice and as I can remember, this combo failed miserably multiple times.
Thirdly, current anti heal builds will either force survivors into -20% repair speed or heal endlessly. Both of these situations are lose-lose to survivors.
Lastly, combination of antiheal and snowballing builds, for example forced penance+thana+infectious+any other perk (for example pop because of consistency) gives effective and consistent result on a killer like blight through damage spreading and forcing survivors to waste a lot of time or risk being instantly snowballed. Such builds also suck out things like unbreakable and perform well at triangles or squares of gens.
There you go

"You're obviously not working on the generator next to the Killer"
Obviously. That doesn't mean killers don't normally check generators if they're worked on. Do you do this? You're that killer that looks at a gen from 20 meters and doesn't scope out the area aren't you? Terrible game sense.
"Which most good huntresses don't really do"
I've never played against a single Huntress that didn't. In fact, Huntresses and Clowns are the two most detective esque killers I've played against. I don't know what causes that but what you're saying hasn't been true for me and the opposite has been the case.
"well they like to make sure the survivor is actually there and know that most good survivors don't repair on the side that they can get hit by a hatchet from across the map."
Exactly (LOL)! So your suggestion of just hiding behind the gen sounds pretty dumb now that you've admitted you know this.
Ruin and Undying are amazing perks and they're the sole reason I can play Huntress now.
*"Like I don't see your point of huntress running ruin that makes it different than any other killer running Ruin."
So it's pretty simple: Because she has a passive threat identifier out to forty meters it makes rookies and people who have already been hooked or currently injured extremely skittish about staying on a generator. This means that they will leave their gens and activate Ruin much more quickly. This isn't that hard to figure out.
I think this player is another perfect example of players that don't know enough about the game to be commenting on the games balance...
Not only do you constantly misread what i've said (I think?), but you go on without even making any sense

Again ranks don't matter. I get rank 1 on both on the 13th, what's your point?

"#########? Are you smoking crack?"
I was about to ask you the same thing until I reread your post, but then realized it still didn't make sense.
"As survivor you usually have an idea which direction the Killer is coming from."
We're assuming a lot of things here. Sometimes you know where a killer is at. Sometimes you don't. Sometimes you don't know if they're on the same floor level or if you're even being stalked. "Usually" is the wrong word here.
"Just put the generator between you and them while you work on it."
I just reread your post after you said this. I missed the word "side", so you didn't suggest moving to the opposite side of the map. Your suggestion is literally only going to work against new players though. Anyone with a mic is going to hear you working on the gen and anyone with experience is going to instinctively check around a worked generator.
You're obviously not working on the generator next to the Killer. You said I clearly havn't faced Huntress with Ruin. Well other than her having a ranged attack, what's the big difference? She can throw hatchet from the map. Which most good huntresses don't really do because, well they like to make sure the survivor is actually there and know that most good survivors don't repair on the side that they can get hit by a hatchet from across the map.
Like I don't see your point of huntress running ruin that makes it different than any other killer running Ruin. Ruin is a useless perk, that you never see good survivors have a problem with.

I honestly don't know what kind of "good" Survivors you're talking about. I play at Rank 1 and rarely ever get Survivors that aren't Red Rank. I've never lost a game where Survivors don't cleanse Ruin because I can pressure them enough to make it get tons of value.
It's only like maybe 1 out of every 10 games where any Survivor(s) even escape out of the exit gate with this build. NA west coast servers. Unless there's something magical about the servers you play on, I think the hypothetical god tier coordinated Survivors you're talking about are so rare that there's no reason to even mention them. For all intents and purposes, a Ruin+Undying+BBQ with Surge/Tinkerer/Killer Specific Perk is best.
Ranks really don't matter for one. It's easy to get to rank 1 as survivor. Hell I got there in just 2 weeks when I played survivor for the first time. It's a bit harder as Killer to get to Rank 1, but again - you will get there if you play enough.

"Because you know you could just work on the generator on the side opposite of where the killer is"
So if you're on a generator and the killer is coming towards you, that means you have to leave that gen to get to the opposite side of where the killer is. This also means that you'd have to maneuver around the map indirectly which is extremely time consuming. During that entire time your generator is regressing without the killer having to do anything but be nearby. Terrible idea.
"#MindBlown"
Ha imagine hashpoundtagsigning yourself after being so horribly and obviously wrong like this lol
#########? Are you smoking crack? As survivor you usually have an idea which direction the Killer is coming from. Just put the generator between you and them while you work on it. Since the Huntress nerf she can't hit the top of your head over the generator while you work on it, or crouch behind it. Also if the Killer is coming and chasing you, that's 2 other generators being worked on at the same time. Just run the chase as normal against a huntress, don't give a ######### about the gen you used to be working on.
Where did you suddenly come with this giant convoluted idea of what I said?

@Justalittlepeeck said:
>Undying + Ruin + Tinkerer .
Oh, it would've been OP if there weren't two hex totems you had to simultaneously defend with everything it means. Let me list some downsides of this "broken" combo:
- Undying goes off first in 50% situations
- If totems don't spawn close, you can't defend them unless you're blight or billy
- Aura reading from Undying can be easily missed if you don't spin your head like an owl every 6 seconds
- If 2 survivors sit on totems at the same time, you lose one totem inevitably because Undying doesn't slow cleansing speed
- You are too far away from the totem when survivor started cleansing? Too bad if you're busy with hooking/chasing/simply lack enough mobility
- Dull bones get cleansed before hexes are broken without chance to respawn
- Distortion
- Anti totem perks
- Minus 2 perk slots if anything from list above happens.
- You literally can't run noed with it, because survivors will cleanse all totems against this totem.
- Oh, two tinkerer procs at the same time, too bad
This combo requires so much factors that don't depend on killer to happen at the same time to be even remotely strong and even if all starts aline for you to shine survivors can still deal with combo simply by doing totems when you can't defend them because you are too far/hooking somebody. If you can't deal with und/ruin/tinkerer combo (unless it's blight with speed/ring addons who really is very hard to deal with, otherwise you can deal with this combo even against billy/spirit/nurse), then you simply lack skill as survivor and all you learnt is holding M1 and running in circles.
Just get good, thanks.
I am not kidding. It is seriously Mind Boggling the amount of people I am seeing going "Mmm Ruin/Undying, yep that's a good combo" today. Like #########, do you even know how to play survivor? Also Tinkerer. TINKERER! What the actual ######### lol

"No amount of gen pressure you do can stop 3 Generator's being worked on at once."
Soooo have you never played against Huntress and ruin before?
Yes? Again. Ruin is useless against good survivors. Are you talking about the fact that Huntress can throw a hatchet from across the map to hit survivors working on a gen? Because you know you could just work on the generator on the side opposite of where the killer is, so you don't get hit by a hatchet from across the map.

I only play Killers with High Mobility or Anti-Loop. Stuff like Blight, Freddy, Pyramid Head, Spirit, Legion and Deathslinger totally owns with versions of this build.
I've had games where the Survivors know all the totem spawns and spend the first part of the game cleansing all five totems to get rid of Ruin. And guess what? They lose. Because 2-3 minutes with no gen pressure gives me a massive advantage. I'm usually on my third hook before Ruin goes down and they haven't even finished a generator.
They're totally screwed if all four Survivors go on a cleansing spree early game. I think the only optimal way to beat Ruin/Undying is to have a designated totem cleanser with small game, detectives or a map. So Survivors are still pressuring generators while the totems are getting worked on. If all of them commit to totems before doing generators, it's like old Ruin on drugs: massive slowdown. And the funniest part is that even after they waste all that time on my totems I still have Surge for some gen regression.
Also, Tinkerer isn't really for stealth (the fact its awesome on Freddy, a Killer that has a lullaby whether he's undetectable or not should be a dead giveaway). It's actually just for helping you prioritize generators. So you know when you have to drop chases to protect gens. Ruin does the most work when you can pry a Survivor off a generator that's almost completed... sometimes it regresses to zero before they can get back to it.
They weren't good survivors. A good survivor team ignore's Ruin. No amount of gen pressure you do can stop 3 Generator's being worked on at once. Hex perk's are entirely useless against a good group of survivors. They will simply check totem spots as they pass them, and if they see your ruin - boom it's gone. By the time they finish all 5 gen's they finish all 5 totems. They know that by actively ignoring generators and searching the map for all totems - they will be throwing the game. As far as NOED is concerned. It's a Hex perk that makes you have 3 perks all game with a miniscule 5% movement increase. Good survivors only care if they get hit once. Good survivors know how to loop against Bloodlust 1, which all NOED is. They tract Killer movement, and know when to work on the doors, or if it's a SWF they have at least 1 key or controlled chest RNG to get a key. They play around NOED just like anything else, and the Killer that took NOED is only worse off taking a useless perk that made them have only 3 perks in the first place.
So reliability you will most likely not have NOED at the end of the match, and even if you did get it - it doesn't give much of a reward. Same with Ruin, and same with Undying. Honestly Undying is only a perk to protect a perk that shouldn't be easy to completely eliminate in the first place. So you are choosing to throw away a perfectly good slot, to protect a useless perk. That's two slots thrown away, against good survivors you lost at the loading screen.
Back on the fact that good survivors can just ignore Ruin. You go back on survivors needed educational perks/items like Small Game, Detectives Hunch, or a Map. No good survivor is going to run an educational perk. They already know the spawn locations. They also already know where the Killer likely spawned, and other survivors likely spawned.
As far as Tinkerer's goes - good Killers would know what gen's are being worked on, be able to esitmate how many, and how long it would take for that gen to be completed. Any Killer VS a good survivor knows they lost that gen when it reaches 75% which is the only time you get the use out of Tinkerer's.
You're trying to reason, with bad information, for bad perks, that no good Killers run, and no good Survivors care about. With scenario's that only works on bad survivors.
And again Surge is only useful, if it can pop more than one gen. Against good survivors - it won't, because they don't work on gens next to each other.

I guess we haven't had a discussion yet.
I respect what you are saying, but surely you must also concede that BL was put in the game at a time where balance was nowheres near as balanced as it is today.
It was put in the game when the game was even worse than it was now, but that doesn't exempt it from the fact that the current is being balanced around that it exists. If Bloodlust didn't exist, then the maps wouldn't have been update with loops so close together, or with long/long loops period. They exist in the new maps, and reworked maps because Bloodlust exists, and players work around that. Players that don't understand how to track Bloodlust - lose. Players that don't know when or how to use Bloodlust - lose. Players like me that understand both, knew that if I stopped playing Killer and only played Survivor to never die, and abuse long/long loops, and maps with close loops - only proved that further. Even when I was facing off better players like Otz and Tofu, they couldn't touch me. It's as simple as that.
Also I disregard comments on "the game was worse before, so Killer's need more buffs now (or "survivors don't need more nerfs now")", because that's just a dismissive response. That's the whole point balancing. It doesn't matter how many times one side gets buffed or nerfed, if one side is still stronger or weaker than the other, the weaker side needs more buffs, and the stronger side needs more nerfs. We're all adults now (hopefully), it's not back and fourth - it should be what is needed most for the game. Another thing the Dev's have a hard time with, they are scared about nerfing Survivors without buffing them as well, because the majority will just get pissy that the survivors were touched at all.
-
... I was excited to see this thread till you said Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer, and Surge.
- Good survivor's memorize totem spawns.
- Good survivor's know how to play around gen's and watch for the Killer - your stealth means nothing
- Good survivor's work on gen's opposite of each other, not next to each other.
Those are literally basic facts as well.
Also it depends on the Killer you are playing, any Killer that doesn't have anti-loop, and fast movment can't face strong survivors - period. As far as perks go you are tossing around; A Nurse's Calling, Bamboozle, Barbecue & Chili, Brutal Strength, Corrupt Intervention, Discordance, Franklin's Demise, I'm All Ears, Infectious Fright, Iron Maiden, Lightborn, Make Your Choice, Mindbreaker (since the update), Monitor & Abuse, Oppression, Pop Goes The Weasel, Sloppy Butcher, Stridor (Spirit Only), Surveilance, Thanatophobia, Thrilling Tremors, and Whispers.

At high level survivor are too easy. But stand now this are maybe the top 10%? When you are a good killer you should win most of your games with Crossplay enabled (i heard PC without crossplay is different, but i cant check it) When you lose most of the time with crossplay enabled its your fault. You need to get better.
But the interesting part is that you as survivor can easily reach the level of this 10% of survivor. The question is now: when its so easy to learn survivor to a extent that you win most of the time, why cant so many player reach this level?
No good tutorials? they dont want to learn?
I also find it weird that when someone brings up something broken in the game, they just assume that person doesn't win most of their games. I do win most of my games. Both Survivor and Killer, and based on what I see. Survivor is broken to #########.

You seem a bit salty, so I will end this discussion as well. But perhaps listen to a lot of the highly regarded killers that are on these forums, many of whom have already stated they do not need bloodlust.
I am one of the highly regarded killers on these forums 🤣
-
A couple months. I started as a Killer main before I started playing Survivor. Though in those two months I spent all of my free time on the game, looked up multitudes of guides, read up on the wiki, followed many of the Dev's on social media, and all the while watching the biggest streamers. However even then I say I know even more now than when I considered myself good. I learned the in's and out's of Survivor and Killer. All the map layouts. I tracked totem spawns, pallet spawns, and hatch spawns (Please dev's start telling the public when you change spawn locations to make this easier on me). Also studied my win's, losses, emblems, and the kinds of players I run into (an exceeding amount of toxic players), and most used perks.
I learned that if you play Survivor right you are effectively immune, and if you play Killer right - it doesn't matter, and you get no reward if the Survivors play right (or at least make under only 12 mistakes - depending on the build). The game needs less Pallets, and make pallets spawn farther apart across most maps. People give Swamp an uneeded bad rep. etc etc etc
When will BHVR pay me for all this game testing 🤣😂

But don't sweat it, you will get better and realize you don't need BL as much as you think.

What change do you propose? More difficult ranking system specifically for survivors?
Well fixing matchmaking would help. The MMR system will be a big help for that. Better tutorials would help. In addition having forum mods crack down on people providing bad information, and dismissive comments when players bring up just how terrible Killer is would also help. Showing SWF in the end game screen would help immensely.
They could also just balance the game to give the power role back to the Killer, forcing new survivors to learn the game better if they keep playing. Make survivor the role that you have to say "I know I am going to lose most of my first trials, but that's okay I am learning". Make survivor incapable of being immune if they do everything right. Make all maps so that no matter how well you do - at some point (20-30 seconds), you are going to get hit by Killer. Make Hatch more favorable to Killer, and remove the 2 door and hatch tactic.
There is lots they can do, they just won't because the majority of the playerbase that is actively speaking to them is feeding them bad information, and they are not looking at statistic's deep enough.

Use legion ability -> hit survivor -> come out of ability / be stunned -> bloodlust timer starts -> catch up with survivor -> 5-8 seconds later bloodlust kicks in -> down survivor. This is especially effective against better survivors as they will use the speed burst from the initial hit to run to a strong tile, you can circumvent the strength of the tile or force them to throw the pallet with bloodlust.
I really don't understand why people think the bonus gained from bloodlust happens in a vacuum. If you know how to play the game, you can utilize bloodlust to position yourself more favorably in order to land your killer powers.
... Bloodlust still doesn't work with Legions power. As you just said, the timer starts AFTER his power has already ended. What you said earlier was that
Legion's ability synergizes with bloodlust. Hillbilly gains from bloodust as he is able to make curves with it better, same with leatherface.
It doesn't work at all with his power. Same with Hillbilly, he doesn't "curve" better. BL forcefully ends when Billy activates his power, and the timer doesn't start when his power is active. Same with Bubba.
Also it's 15 seconds for BL1, 30 seconds for BL2, and 45 seconds for BL3. Not 5-8, it's not a random number. It's a set number that the timer starts when you engage in a chase. Losing line of sight, or breaking a pallet also ends Bloodlust.
Better survivors would be calculating if the Killer get's BL or not. You will still have a hard time, but at least the Killer has a chance to hit the survivor if the survivor decided to stay on a long/long loop too long. The game is designed that if the survivor does everything right - they are untouchable.

Same can be said about BL tho. Experienced killers rarely rely on on BL let alone 2 or 3. It was balanced to older maps and loops. As such you know longer need it and relying on it balances toward killers that are not as experienced.
So by your logic, they should improve, and not degrade as well.
See this is what I mean. That just blame the killer mentality. It's what's needed to catch a survivor in a long/long loop or map with close loops. If you're not a killer who's power makes you faster, or slow the survivor - than you lose every match with long/long and close loops. Period. Even during the "trial" I never died as survivor. During the trial I used all of my badham, autohaven, and haddonfield map offerings. It's literally elementary and easy if you just know the basic's of the game. Count it in your head. 15 seconds. They have BL1 and can catch you in the long/long loop. Drop the pallet for the stun (hopefully), and move to the next loop. Competent Killer's know that too. The "pro" players that BHVR themselves tell you to follow tell you the same damn thing. Actual experienced Killers are telling you the same damn thing. Stop lying. (Nobody cares about level 2 or 3 though, you only need 1 to catch a good survivor that stays on a long/long too long, or between close loops).
It's literally mind boggling the amount of stupidity i've seen in these forums this past weekend of people going "Only bad killers need Bloodlust". No wonder everyone says solo survivor is awful, look at all the dummies that can't figure out how to loop right or basic map layout.

Anyone who thinks Bloodlust isn't needed in the game in it's current state, doesn't know enough about the game to be commenting. Like honestly. You should have learned at least long/long loops by the time you reached Green Ranks, and you should have some semblance of map layouts by red ranks.
-
There's nothing wrong with it. When it's used appropriately it's a strong mechanic for the Killer, but if used improperly you are giving the Survivors a free win.
All the people complaining just don't know enough of the game unfortunately.

Spirit deathslinger and huntress have ways to determine skill.
Bloodlust will certainly pad a player's stats. It's true that it affects killers differently, but that's the problem, it's a wildcard variable.
Legion doesn't get any additional speed from Bloodlust while using his ability. Specifically Bloodlust does not work with Killer's power.

You claim you 'abuse' strong loops to 'show them what needs to be changed' yet you wouldn't play during the test to show them that you need bloodlust. Which is it? Do you care about the game getting better or do you not care if they 'ruin their own game' because you're unwilling to deal with a very temporary test? Which isn't going to happen, by the way. The game has been far worse off in the past and has survived thus far, it will continue with or without you. You can't have it both ways.
While I have my criticisms, I still have hope that they're attempting to figure out and work towards a better future for the game, so I stay and endure far worse things they do that I may not agree with for the sake of knowing with some HELP it can be better.
Everyone is not going to agree on their choices, but if you're going to be the kind of person that threatens to leave the moment something isn't going your way and attempt to 'ruin their data' in the process, they really don't need people like you around in the first place because you've demonstrated you don't care enough about the game getting better to stick around through the rough patches where they are trying to figure stuff out and instead would rather sabotage their efforts to do better.
At the end of the day, it's a video game, and the nature of this game is that it's always going to be a work in progress. When new maps, killers and perks are introduced, things will need to be adjusted accordingly, even if they do try to change the existing loops, someone will always find a reason to be upset because they're unwilling to adapt. Sometimes they don't know what adjustments really need to be made and won't know if they don't do extensive testing.
The only thing I will say about this test is that I hope they do more, especially since maps are in the middle of getting changed. This was an odd time for them to do that test considering this information, but maybe it will serve as a base at the very least.
Furthermore, get a backbone. To blame them for what rude crap some people have to say on the internet is ridiculous. People are going to be that way regardless of the state of the game, regardless of what game you're playing.
If it bothers you that much, report them, set it to where you can't receive/see their messages, don't look at the messages, don't linger around to chat with people who are teling you to '#########'. There is no sense in pretending it's the games fault that you receive these kind of messages or that you're incapable of handling it the way it should be handled. People shouldn't say these things, but you also shouldn't use these things being said as a basis for why bloodlust is no longer needed. The game play will show that, not whatever hateful things people have to say to you for whatever reason they think it's reasonable to do so.
Yawn.
You realize by only playing Survivor. I did give data. By only playing survivor and only getting hit 19 times the whole weekend, never get sacrificed, and winning all of my matches. That gave data that Bloodlust is needed. By not playing Killer and stomping potato's in red ranks, gave different data.
Stop with the sensless politic's and narcisism. I know what I am doing.

Ah, I can't speak for OP, but if a game is stressing you out a lot it's good to stop playing for a few hours or to take a day off. I have done it before and I have a hard time keeping myself from playing, and it's refreshing to step back. You're telling someone to play as a virtual killer in a video game even when this person said it's stressing them out more than being fun. Please be careful in saying stuff like this, as it can encourage poor coping skills or make this person even more frustrated. They never said they should stop playing-- Have you ever taken a lunch break at work? You go back after like 15 minutes, it's not forever lol
This is a game - not a job, but how Killer is right now I can see why you compared it to taking a break from WORK.
-
Self-Care is not the strongest perk you can take. Period. He can take better perks.
Let him play what he wants.

I play Killer far more then I do Survivor. I don't enjoy the Survivor role at all. I find it boring, and I find Killer far more enjoyable to play. I told the OP to take a break if it was affecting their mental health, which from the post they made, it seemed like it was. Their mental health should always come before a video game. If they had asked for my opinions on what made Killer so unbearable sometimes, I would have given them, but the OP did not ask. It's clear you don't care about actually having discussions, so I'm not going to waste my time anymore. Even though you'll probably reply to this telling me I'm terrible for the game or something, I don't really give a #########. Have a nice day.
OP, I hope you found a way to enjoy Killer more, or learned ways you could get better.
Nice lie. A Killer main wouldn't tell players to "take a break".
-
Do you seriously not know what a Long/Long loop is?
-
Also if you play immersive to the point where you do not work on Generators at all. To wait till the survivor is found/killed, and for the hatch to spawn. You are taking the game hostage (Dev's said it), and can be penalized (possibly banned) for doing it.

I said take a break because it was clear they were very upset at the time. They said in their post that they didn't want any of the same old advice, they asked for what they could do about the game stressing them out. The simple answer is to take a break and do something you enjoy. It is not dismissive to say that, especially if the game is affecting their mental health to that point.
If they had asked for my opinion on what makes the game that bad sometimes, I would have given it. They asked for what they could do to make them enjoy the game more, and I gave my advice. And, at the point the OP was at when posting, it was clear they needed to take a break and come back when they were better. That is not dismissive. This game has problems, but they didn't ask for the problems to be listed out for them.
Taking a break is extremely constructive. Once you see things from a more relaxed, not so stressed light you can try and approach it again. This game is stressful, especially for killer, and they needed help with their stress. If I had said "Get gud lul" or "Play something different", that would add nothing. I gave them a list of creators that have made guides on getting better at the game. I gave them advice on both getting better, and gave them advice on how to help their mental attitude towards the game. It is never good to keep playing a game if it bums you out so much, until you've calmed down and can approach it again.
"Take a break" = "I don't actually care that playing Killer is stressful, and a terrible experience, but I understand I need Killers to enjoy the game as Survivor, so take a short break to collect yourself playing a game/role that is actually enjoyable, and then come back to continue being abused by me"

From what I can tell, the community has never been good at boycotting. Changes come about, people say "We should boycott!" and queue times remain the same. Usually a change in queue time happens because one side is easier than the other, so players switch over. That's been my experience, anyway. Events, Bloodhunts, and Tome challenges make a difference, but changing Ruin didn't. Killers may have tried playing this weekend and found the experience frustrating, so they switched to survivor or a different game. If players aren't having fun, they have no obligation to stick around just to be a free guinea pig and/or make sure others still have a game to play.
(Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some are boycotting, like the above poster, but this community is disorganized and can never agree on anything, plus most players aren't actually on these forums, so I doubt the change in queue times is due to a deliberate effort.)
I'm still playing, because infinite-tier-1 Mikey never knew what Bloodlust was, anyway.
Jeez, let's all talk like the Ruin changes didn't happen

you can report map issues here in the forums instead (considering them "abuse"), devs literally dont monitor your gameplay
The Long/Long loops were intended. The map layout of loops being too close together on the previously mentioned maps were also intended. So no - that doesn't matter, nor is it what the forum is for. Players need to see just how broken Survivor is and I will break the game until it's fixed.
-
All of them (except Nightmare)
-
I will camp you if you are SWF, I don't care, and I know the SWF menatility will more likely get them all killed. This is more fun than playing a round that was completely one sided from the beginning.

uhm, why complain by survivors who """""abuse"""" long loops, if you later at the end say you played like that yourself.
Because by abusing these things, and bringing attention it - it can be fixed.

I'm not saying to quit the game. I'm saying that if they need to, take a break and do something that relaxes them. If a game stresses you out to that point, you should take a break. I even gave them some options of videos to watch on getting better.
I quite literally never told them to stop playing. I said to "Take a break."
No. Don't tell players to "take a break" it's only a friendlier way of saying "stop playing". It's dismissive. It's not nice. It doesn't solve the issue, that it is too damn stressful to play Killer. A game shouldn't be a way where you can play one side endlessly with ease, 0 stress, and even play just to make jokes/memes without even taking the game seriously. Then the other side you have to concentrate, strategize, basically sweat every round, and then get treated with consistent disrespect from the community after every match.
Stop with the dismissive comments. If you don't have anything constructive to say then don't say anything at all.

I mean... I hope this doesn't come across as rude, but if the game is affecting you so much, then you should probably take a break. No game is worth your mental health.
For actual help, well... I'd suggest watching DbD Channels like Scott Jund, Otzdarva, even OhTofu. They all have great videos on how to play killer more effectively.
Can we please stop telling Killers to stop playing as a way to dismiss just how terrible this game is for Killers.
Frankly it's annoying to see on the forums at this point, and I am seriously surprised the Moderator's havn't started to enact punishment for the dismissive comments plaayers get when they are only reiterating the same issue that still has yet to be resolved.

The incentive is showing the devs you need it, nows the best time to put your money where your mouth is and show instead of tell. No amount of running your mouths on the forums is going to beat the data they receive, not playing only hurts YOU. they're not listening to what you say, they're looking at what the data is telling them.
The fact that you think all nemesis is worth is the few seconds of aura reading is a very telling sign of your skill. The minute of obliviousness is far more important than the few seconds of aura reading you get, so it's not comparable to I'm All Ears which is a greatly underrated perk itself.
Let's not forget Fire Up on top of all that speed which helps you as gens get done so even when you're losing, you're gaining.
I really don't get all of the complaining. It's literally a test, which y'all are going to ruin for yourselves by not playing and giving them data that says you need it, and it's like two or three days long. That's such an insignificant amount of time it's not even funny. But you know what, go ahead, leave and take bloodlust with you. You're the ones that stand to lose the most by not playing during this.
I had sooner just let the Dev's get terrible data, and ruin their own game further. Than to go 8 games in a row getting told to kill myself by survivors that know just to abuse long loops, and maps with the loops close together. Playing Survivor over the weekend happened exactly as predicted. I barely ever got hit, or not until the map ran out of long/long loops.

@TheButcher we'll see.
Actually we won't. You can tell even by the streamers and these forums many Killers just decided straight up not to play during their "test". Like it's the only way we can really get the message across to BHVR anymore is if we just stop playing Killer. They never wanted to listen to the playerbase outright - now it's like this every time.

But neither of them really fixes the issue:
Survivors can still kidnap victor for nearly a min before the killer can recall him.
We don't know what they mean by a short time for the locker so it literally might not be long enough for it to matter let alone its still counters victor as if you go into a locker too far away from the sister you can just break out and kill victor avoiding being slugged entirely.
I honestly just figure Iron Maiden will be the Meta on Twins like it is on Huntress and Doctor.
