CoH barely got nicked in the heal department. It got nicked in the placement department. You can't just drop it willy-nilly anymore and not waste that much time
-
So you shouldn't lose a pip, because you lost? You died, you should lose a pip for failing

Oh whatever, killer-players once again screw survivors over. Congratulate yourselves on destroying the only meta perk survivors have gotten in the last 4 years. Glad the developers cater to you all like lapdogs.
All those perks you mentioned are crap and you know it.
All those Perks you mentioned are crap and you know it.
Funny you say that after mentioning Merciless Storm, Scourge Hook: Floods Of Rage, Hex: Plaything, Lethal Pursuer, Starstruck and Oppression

Yeah, thank you killer-mains for keeping the survivor meta stale for 4 years.
No, thank you for abusing overpowered Perks!

For the first use, yes, it takes a while but it should. It's a free heal for the whole team

It is fine as a stealth perk. It being a chase perk though, that’s when we have a problem.
100% reduction when in chase and 85%-90% in chase?

This + Haemorrhage change makes hit and run 2018 levels of decent again.
All of a sudden, Sadako with Sloppy becomes a good killer.
This probably will push Sadako into A tier imo. Her TV's usually spawn by Generators, which Totems usually spawn next to, which means Sadako will be able to deal with CoH pretty easily, unless Survivors turn TV's off to get a free heal at the expense of Sadako knowing exactly where they are.
The CoH nerf was a ruse! This Mid-Chapter is all about buffing Sadako

Iron Will needed it more.
I don't disagree that IW should get a nerf, I disagree with the fact that IW needed it more

This one should. Infact this one should be deleted and turned into something else. Free team wide healing is not healthy.
That'd be more of a rework than "nerfing it into oblivion"

According to one of the devs in another thread, it's still faster- 21 seconds for a self heal without a medkit. That means it's worth using over Self-Care since it's already faster without requiring a medkit, as well as providing that benefit to all your teammates.
It'll still be strong because it's infinite heals that can be set up away from the action, but it ought to be a little more balanced now.
That's good. No Perk should be nerfed into oblivion

You are correct, my mistake! The particular wording always trips me up.
So CoH is not dead? That's good
-
It's slower than Self-Care. No one will use the Perk anymore

They straight up deleted the Perk

Without a medkit, yes.
So you deleted the Perk? As uncool as that it, I'm fine with it

Your claim about the forum being killer biased holds about as much weight as your claim that there is no evidence that DH is the best exhaustion perk (despite the devs literally calling it problematic and clarifying what they mean, various metric sites, etc).
Fun fact - Only two users have used the term 'bias' in this topic, both portraying killers in a negative light - you and Johnny_XMan.
Don't waste your time on someone that thinks Hex: Huntress Lullaby is useful

I don't get the Hawkins love. Map looked pretty bland with some interesting rooms but the loops were godawful, indoor maps in general just suck imo

Okay so gens 1 and 3 get done 4 has to wait a bit
Pretty much.
More realistic would be:
Gens 1 and 3 get done before the first Hook.
Survivor gets hooked.
Gen 2 gets done once the Survivor remains on the Hook for about ~30 to 45 seconds.
Then 4 gets popped as the Survivor gets rescued.
Gen 5 gets popped once Killer gets their second Hook
-
@AsherFrost said:

Only if people are waiting between each gen being completed, if all 4 survivors started each repairing a gen at the same time, then 1 would be completed, 2 would get blocked, but 3 and 4 could complete while 2 is blocked. Happens all the time.
We're currently discussing Deadlock being used while camping.
4 Survivors being on gens would be impossible.
-
The devs need to acknowledge that Twins aren't a mistake and that people actually play them. They need to give them a load of QOL buffs
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2876313#Comment_2876313
Right. So with Deadlock if you are splitting gens doesn't work b/c it blocks each gen (30 seconds) back to back buying the killer more time to camp (I.E. have enough time) to camp the next person.
Sounds to me like you don't understand how perks work.
Splitting up counters Deadlock because it only blocks the Generator with the most progress. If multiple Generators are being worked on, Deadlock isn't going to buy much time.
Once again, it seems like you don't know how to play efficiently

It's not even the TR change. With the windup, it's really easy to just dodge the spear in general. Survivors move faster than Deathslinger's ability to aim horizontally in ADS.
So Deathslinger is a 4.4 M1 Killer with a 32 Meter Terror Radius? That was a good and balanced nerf that slightly weakened him but didn't just delete him
-
@KerJuice said:
The invulnerability needs to be removed- not the distance. If you took away the distance, the perk is useless- even with invulnerability. All DH would be doing is delaying the inevitable if its solely used to avoid a hit. The killer is just going to catch up to you shortly after. Even if they fell for the bait the first time & you managed to get to a pallet/window/loop safely, they’re very unlikely to fall for it again & will just wait it out. The distance is what makes the perk good. Plus no invulnerability means killers can’t get baited during/after hook plays.
Having a reaction perk (distance gone but invulnerability remains) on these ######### servers is not ideal.
Rework the Perk entirely, everyone wins. No more luck based invulnerability and no more unbalanced and uncounterable distance
-
Survivors DC against any Killer.
I think Bubba is around B tier. Mediocre chase, that can be pretty good with Add-ons and is in general really good at eating Pallets, but a really good kill confirm
-
I wouldn't say Deathslinger is anywhere close to being "devastating", let alone when it comes to chases. Ever since his TR nerf, Deathslinger just isn't going to start that many chases if Survivors ShiftW away from him

"Deadlock only works if survivors don't split up on gens"
What? Are you even playing the same game? If survivors don't split up gens the likeability that the killer will get another kill, becomes higher because you can't finish all 5 gens in the amount of time (120 seconds) it takes for someone to die from the hook.
I will keep telling myself that because it isn't a secret that Camping is unbalanced atm. Hence why the devs are going to change it.
So maybe while you rely heavily on hook camping (which sounds like you do with how much you defend it) others like myself will continue to push for a change on balance with concurrent information rather than with outdated one.
Splitting up on gens is the fastest way to finish Generators. It sounds to me like you just don't know how to play efficiently

Trapper is my main and he will get more kills than Demogorgon on average. He's a better designed killer than Demogorgon. Demogorgon is completely helpless in loops, while a Trapper can shut down a loop instantly. Plus Trapper can snowball way-way harder than Demogorgon any day of the week. I hate it when people say Trapper is weak, he's actually a pretty good killer.
Will Trapper get more kills on average? Yes, but only because he comes with the game, is the face of the game and is generally easier to play. Demogorgon isn't even available anymore, nor is he even that easy to play.
Demogorgon is not even close to being helpless in loops. His Shred deals with almost every non-junk loop in the game without needing set-up or anything.
The only way Trapper will snowball is if Survivors throw.
Trapper is weak. He is an M1 Killer that gets his Power countered by every Survivor meta Perk

Oh it won’t? So why do people bring Deadlock /Noed/NWO to further extend their time.
Sorry but the whole “camping only guarantees 1 kill” is outdated now.
Also, saying countering a killer as survivor should be hard is hypocritical when your whole scheme or “strat” is to use a game’s unbalanced playstyle by simply standing there.
You are clearly bias about one side.
Deadlock only works if Survivors don't split up on gens.
NWO will only get 1 Stack if you camp which isn't much.
NOED will only get you 1-2 downs tops if Survivors don't find the Totem, which isn't hard.
Camping isn't unbalanced. Keep telling yourself that and maybe once the devs introduce a Perk that halts all Generator progress if the Killer is within 12 Meters of a hooked Survivor, you will be correct

All killers can deal with hook-bombing and that is on the survivors. The Artist and Twins can use their powers the moment the survivor is farmed off the hook. On the other hand taking the chainsaws away by a hooked survivor is extremely abuseable so I do agree that is not a good solution to the problem.
Yes, Killers can deal with Hook-bombing if the Survivors are bad, which most of them aren't
-
@Alen_Starkly said:
The Artist and the Twins can't use their abilities when too near the hook. In my opinion, Bubba and Hillbilly shouldn't be able to, either.
That, and.... hook grabs should be removed. It feels so unnecessary and encourages camping.
So remove any way of countering Hook-bombing?
-
Demogorgon took his place.
Think about it. Both Freddy and Demogorgon have a 1v1 Power and a Teleport, but Demogorgon does everything Freddy does but better, and has way better Add-ons that can even free up Perk Slots

Just like them nerfing 1 percent off clown's 5% hinder addon? Why? I have no ######### clue bruh. Just Bhvr things.
50% Faster portal opening sounds like more quality of life than a real advantage tbh.
It halved the Portal opening speed, from 1 second to 0.5, but it got nerfed to only decrease it by 35%, which doesn't seem like much of a nerf but I personally barely feel the speed difference, maybe because I was so used to the old Rat Tail speed
-
Almost no one wants all Killers to be Nurse level. However, most people want all Killers to be on the level of Blight
-
Old Rat Tail that decreased the Portal opening speed by 50%. It wasn't op or even needed the nerf but it was apparently op enough to warrant a nerf

So survivors have to be good at looping (to half-way counter something) but you can just Camp, right?
You just proved my point.
Camping won't get more than 1 Kill unless Survivors throw.
And yes, Survivors should be able to be good to counter tunneling. It's 1v4, countering the Killer as a Survivor should be hard
-

No, unbalanced efficiency is bad for the game.
Teamwork counters tunneling, aswell as being good at looping.
Doing gens counters camping

it actually is LOL
You're just trolling at this point.
Tell me, how is Trapper supposed to get more than 3-4 Hooks? He can't Hit N Run to apply pressure thanks to CoH and he can't chase, nor use his Power thanks to DH. He can't protect gens thanks so splitting up on gens and no amount of slowdown is going to save an M1 Killer
-
@MissBehavingX said:

No, if you tunnel and camp because u like to win it means you aren't skilled enough to win chases and secure kills otherwise shurgs
Lemme just 12 Hook a SWF that wants to win on Badham with Trapper without tunneling and camping because that's apparently possible if I git gud at chases
-
I'd say she's A tier because of how good she synergizes with meta Perks
-
Nurse has a higher skill floor but a lower skill ceiling.
Blight has a lower skill floor but a higher skill ceiling

lol not even, just had a match with a camper and tunneler, we were all solos (i asked) no one was running BT, DH, whatever perk killers find toxic and not a single flashlight, we didnt gen rush, it was a pretty standard game time-wise, so no, killers just camp and tunnel cause they are either in survivor-hate mode at all times or just bitter overall or i guess they cant secure kills if they dont camp and tunnel shrugs
these past weeks have felt like im playing against baby killers like I did when I started playing dbd
So every Killer that likes to win is a triggered Killer main?
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
On bad killer players, yes.
"Efficiency bad"

If I had the Perks I wanted, I would use something like Corrupt Intervention/Barbecue And Chili/Pop Goes The Weasel/Call Of Brine.
A more "meme" build would probably be something like Corrupt Intervention/Play With Your Food/Scourge Hook: Floods Of Rage/Make Your Choice
-
Tunneling and camping aren't comparable with clicking and tbagging. A better comparison would've been splitting up on gens or just doing gens in general
-
Camping and tunneling (when used properly) show more game knowledge than going for 12 Hooks. You won't ever get 12 Hooks against Survivors that don't want to die as any Killer other than Nurse

That is not how it works. If we say fnaf is the next chapter, fnaf is the next chapter.
If you say Barney is the next killer, that means Springtrap is the next killer.
People have been saying that Springtrap will be the next Killer for a while now and it still hasn't happened
