Wanting variety isn't bad, but saying "Sit there staring at your screen for an hour because you want to play nurse today" is a little unreasonable.
-
The Idle Crows only work on people that stand there and do literally nothing. This is easy to avoid just by walking about in the basement.
-
I don't even care if they take the lazy route and spawn a hook on top of the basement stairs when they're not there, just let there be something.
-
Pinhead isn't that strong. His strengths are easily preventable by knowing what he does, how he works, and when to prevent it. This is why he's known as a newbie killer more than anything else.

I went back to self care and dont care who gets mad about it, it + bite the bullet is so funny when killer just walks past me + solo que=95% of time just unhook and runs off lol. But it would be nice if they put self care back to the 50%, people is complaining about circle giving infinite heals yet self care is still pretty much the same and dont have to waste time find no totems to bless. Overall people complaining gen rush is the one causing it on themselves. I prefer going against med kits=vs tool boxes, more hits=more points for me and nurses/sloppy already was doing a wonderful job imo and killers had a third perk shatter hope to make boons a waste of time and slot. I am so surprise shadow step aint target yet but bet once I run it alot specially vs those myers who love doing scratch mirror on leries, funny seeing them unable to find anyone until they snuff it lol.
The big difference is that Self Care takes up a perk slot and only affects the user.
Self Care users also had a habit of self caring above all else while CoH users were often in groups and knew when to do that.
-
It doesn't matter how long it takes if you heal in the middle of nowhere.
This has been proven repeatedly by Circle of Healing's Healing Speed being reduced several times!
This change was necessary!!!

people act like having more killer variety is an issue. 3 Weskers in 4 matches is not going to help survivors stick around and it’s clearly going to get old fast. I don’t care if Wesker has a long queue time because I’m tired of constant dcing against him. Try another killer and break up the constant barrage of high school jock douchery.
Friendly reminder that the Wesker you don't care about is another person that just wants to play the game.
Wait, my mistake, person plays killer, therefore what they find fun should never be considered.
-
Huh...I thought this was gonna be "AI survivors bad".
I feel it's reasonable, but since the idea is to get used to your killer of choice more than anything I feel it's not the biggest thing to worry about at the moment.
-
Oh, we definitely have too many perks. But basekit Dead Hard? Dear god no.
-
Why are you playing this game? It sounds like you just want to play Dark Souls.
-
Never used CoH when I heard it be put up because using it felt like cheating.
Anytime I heard it as killer I knew I wasn't winning.
This does not need to be reverted.
Anyone who thinks it does needs to figure out that they're not supposed to win every single game.

Except fov for killer being limited is an integral part of the game. I guess you just want the game to be unplayable?
Had no idea Vomiting was so important.

The DBD account replied to a tweet about cross progression yesterday, saying "We'd still love to make this happen, but due to circumstances beyond our control, it's not possible at the moment." so unfortunately I don't think it's happening any time soon.
They advertised the switch was going to get cross progression over a year ago.
It's why I bought the switch version.
Why advertise it in the first place?!?
-
Congratulations.
You won.
Now you're less likely to get a killer that's bad at the game or purposefully loses.

His power prevents survivors from running and slows them down. That's already a reward. I don't think Pinhead really needs any of his addons to become basekit.
His power also requires you to stand still. If you land the shot, you're now roughly in the same spot you were as if you didn't shoot in the first place by the time the chains are pulled off, assuming they don't use the environment to break them. There are very specific times mid chase where using it has benefits, but they're few and far between.
Even slapping it down just in front of a survivor and immediately firing doesn't get you that much distance if it hits.
-
I don't feel that that would be a buff for him, though having it be an option wouldn't be bad. I feel like I wouldn't use it because it's not something you should be leaving up for more than a few seconds at a time, as opposed to gen repairing, and doesn't occur often enough that you can just automate it, like Gen Kicking.
-
I can guarantee you that Oni got a ban. There's four different people that could have taken video evidence of them holding the game hostage from that and sent it in.
-
I could see it happening in newbie games, but you keep playing and you stop getting them.
A 90% winrate means you won't be around them for long.
-
I don't understand how anyone enjoys playing her.
Chasing people is the fun part of the game.
How much of the fun part are you participating in if you refuse to leave three specific generators.
-
You can stop griefers
by removing the thing
that enables their griefing.
Pick a different perk my dude.
-
I'll say first off, if the killer is looking for survivor 4 chances are they're not patrolling the generator too hard, so going up to one, tapping it, and hiding could potentially buy you time.
Second, this is not a perfect solution. There will be flaws with it. The situations you mentioned, survivors coming out of hiding to tap something and going back to reset the timer, etc. People in the game are pricks and they will find a way to abuse anything you implement in the game. That said I feel this system would be better than the current way the game deals with those people, which is currently "Just find them stupid".
@RoastedGarlic said:
it should simple, when it gets down to 2 remaining survivors. if they don't touch a gen they get crows at a faster rate then if they were to go afk.
Everytime I get a game where 1 survivor is hiding while the other is actually trying to do gens I feel bad. I rather let them finish the gens while I hunt for the rat who is punishing their teammate.
maybe require a certain amount of objective points for the hatch to spawn. so a survivor who fought can escape, but someone who dragged their team down cannot.
This is actually why I thought of five minutes. It's long enough that people who are lost can find something to do, even if it's being found by the killer, but short enough that survivors probably won't be dead before it goes off.
-
I don't think the hatch itself is bad, but I have a better idea to deal with those people.
If 5 minutes have passed and you have made no progress in any way (No healing, no repairing, no totem cleansing, no chest opening, and the killer doesn't initiate chase with you), then the game silently noise alerts the killer to your location and your aura is revealed until any of those things are done again. Lockers wouldn't hide the aura and perks that affect aura reading such as Distortion wouldn't help you either.
This means that people who fought tooth and nail the entire game wouldn't be punished alongside people that did jack.
-
HOLY GOD NO!
Playing Killer has been exponentially more bearable since that awful awful perk was brought down a peg.
The only bad thing about this nerf was it didn't come sooner and we had to deal with it for more than a year.
-
Oh boy, here we go again.
I sure do love people defending FoV so bad it actually makes people vomit.
-
Nope.
Activision Blizzard is a horrible company and we don't need their taint.
-
no
please no
there are better shows than easily preventable infighting simulator
-
Slugged survivors die eventually.
Holding the game hostage is stepping in a doorway the survivor now can't get out of.

Another person that misses the point and doesn't understand what's being reported.
"It is absolutely out of control, the last 9/10 games have been afk killers."
You're right, I absolutely have no idea on what I'm talking about and 90% of the entirety of the game is a killer sitting there twiddling their thumbs.

??? Who said I did that lmao. I said that's what killer players do currently because they can have that advantage over the survivors to see their profiles and if it's a ttver they can see they're live and see their build, etc. It's not fair content creators have to go anonymous (might get targeted because of that as well) and don't get engagement on their channels and killers can freely get promo because they don't need anon mode (can't snipe an already ended game). It should not be a thing for either side.
There's a solution to not getting sniped
You go to steam. You mouse over your name. You click "Profile". From there you go to the right and click "Edit Profile". And under Profile name you delete "TTV".
Hell, you might get people willing to play with you more often if you do that.
-
Trickster used to be the worst ranged killer in the game until they nerfed Deathslinger, and the introduction of more maps with LoS breakers everywhere is only making him worse. He definitely does not need a nerf.
-
Hello, person who has the game on PC and Switch with vastly different MMR on both.
The statistic is full of it. I can go days or even weeks without finding an AFK killer, let alone one that wants to be friendly or farm or is under bot control on both accounts.
And quite frankly I find it hypocritical that someone going against a team that wants to do little more than suck the fun out of their game and deciding enough is enough, up to and including going into a random corner and tabbing out to do something else is being a poor sport and is a bannable offense, but tea bagging in the exit gate for two minutes or refusing to go into the hatch until killer is close enough to hit you is perfectly ok.
I don't know a lot of chess games where it wouldn't be acceptable to punch your opponent in the face if they refused to play the winning move because they wanted to rub it in your face for as long as possible.
-
I just wanna turn faster!
Survivors can run around me faster than I can turn, and the aim assist only helps so much if at all.
-
No survivor player would ever agree. It's much more important to their egos to waste as much of your life as possible.
Instead, it should be something that you can't do unless the game is relatively close to ending so that players are encouraged to give it their all to try to turn things around.
This post was edited by someone else so the original context is lost, so I'll say. You want to say Just Disconnect then?
Just throw your BP away.
Just be forced off the game for several minutes/hours/days.
-
Killer power: Are you gonna sign this or will it be your surviving family members?
Wouldn't be the weirdest crossover they did.
-
Mending is something that's supposed to waste your time. I can say just don't get into the situation where you need to, but I doubt I need to explain why saying that is dumb.
Pretty much everything that takes a while is like that so that you're forced to stay in one spot to accomplish something while risking the possibility of the killer finding you, and mending is no different.
-
Oh for the love of, not again!
I thought we were past this!!!
-
Personally, I feel she's a lost cause. Either survivors need to not be notified that the drone is even there, something that would take a lot of balancing to do correctly that I just don't see BHVR doing, or she needs to have a different power entirely.
-
The reason they don't have somewhere in between, at least from what I understand, is that people being matched based on their numbers was taking too long to find a game.
Personally I don't mind the waiting if it means I don't get matched with the sweatiest SWFs in the game despite losing a match 5 times in a row, but some people are less patient.
-
That's implying reporting players does anything.
-
Ok, this person is calling me slurs, time to mute them.
All right, done.
Oh, I'm down. That's a cool thing to come back to.
-
Wait near a downed survivor.
Wait for killer to start picking them up.
Blind during the pickup animation.
You don't even have to make them drop I think, so if you blind too early the challenge is done unless the killer has lightborn.
You've worked on a challenge for 4 hours? It took literal months for me to kill four survivors in the basement.

isn't this what a lot of killer players do when they see a survivor ttver mate?
Why are you going out of your way to learn your opponents are using the same meta perks everyone else is using?
-
I can name plenty of perks almost no one uses on either side that have counters that make them useless. This is not a sloppy butcher issue, this is a game issue.
-
Knowing that a survivor is using the same exact meta perks everyone else is using is not nearly as game breaking as knowing what killer you're going up against.
Also "Other people can do it, why can't I" is never a good argument.
-
Thoughts on Hexes.
Killers should be able to pick where hexes spawn, with the exception of hexes that already spawn midway through the match or are only useful early game.
My thoughts are if the killer has a hex they can place like this, the aura of totems would be revealed within a certain distance (I think white instead of Pink to differentiate it from Hexes). Killer can go up to it and place it down by interacting with the unlit totem for two seconds. Hexes would be placed on the order they are equipped if the killer has more than one.
This could also create the potential of Mind Games. Is that hex that was placed in a place survivors rarely go there to protect something important? Or was it a clever Haunted Ground trap?
Anything is better than "Oops, all of my perks are gone because the game spawned everyone on a different hex".
-
Her roaring as she charges I feel would give too little of a warning. I think it would be better to reduce the time between the roar and her charge instead.

because we are teammates, they can tell me stuff. Just as much I can tell them, like ''stay on gen, I have gambit'' So now my teammate know we can finnish the gen. Or my team mate tell me ''I have Repressed Alliance'' now I know I am being a road block and have too go away. And everyone will feel better, because players can be teammates.
If your perks are important enough that your teammates should know what they are, then you should have told them before the match started.
I for one don't need children telling me what they do to my mother on a normal basis, thank you very much.

Killer gameplay and accessibility improvements:What do you want?
Survivors get gameplay and accessibility improvements because there are lots of ways the game can be improved for survivors.
The only real suggestion out there for killers if field of view.
Some killers should get balance attention, and some maps should be looked at, but those are balance questions. If we're discussing gameplay what is that killers could get that would make it a better gaming experience.
Literally all I want is a better FOV.
I'm happy there is ANYTHING being added that makes the game play better, and people need to stop complaining because "My side received no compensation".
-
Holy god, did you actually make this thread after I explicitly gave you a video of people escaping and it didn't count because he was camping a basement and not face camping a survivor?
Apparently Face Camping is stronger than proxy or basement camping. Somehow.
I'm serious, you really shouldn't be playing this game until at the very least your age is in the double digits. Much higher than the bare minimum preferably.
-
The point stands.
If it's so unimportant that its removal affects almost no games whatsoever, then why does it matter that it's removed?
